The first movie is "Felidae," a 1994 animated German film about a cat that feels compels to solve a murder in his neighborhood. The gory crimes lead him into a rabbit hole (so to speak) of violence and conspiracy.

Next, is Scrambled Face Jeff's contest-winning pick of "Papi Gudia." In this extremely '80s movie (that came out in 1996), an Indian serial killer named Young Channi puts his soul into a doll to continue his violence. It's all Channi Play from there.

Finally, the side characters from Dragon Ball get their own movie in "Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero" from 2022. Will Kevin understand 40 years of Akira Toriyama continuity? And will one of the hosts simply refuse to watch it? And will Krillin fuck a robot?

Junk Food Dinner returns for our annual holiday celebration and this year we're feeling particularly nostalgic!

Up first, The Muppets gang crashes at Fozzy's mom's house for the holidays and they're bringing all their friends, even the Sesame Street and Fraggle Rock crew, in the 1987 TV special A Muppet Family Christmas.

Then, we revisit one of Sean's favorite holiday traditions; we see what movies and electronics film critics Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert were recommending folks pick up in the Siskel and Ebert's 1990 Holiday Video Gift Guide!

And finally, in the summer of 1992, one of biggest films was the blockbuster sequel Batman Returns. Tim Burton and Michael Keaton returned but this time Batman squares off against The Penguin (played by Danny DeVito) and Catwoman (played by Michelle Pfeiffer). But is it a Christmas movie? You bet your Batmobile it is!

We thought it would be fun to see who has been paying attention and watching along all these years, so rather than include a list of credits on this video, we're leaving it to YOU, the Junk Food Junkies out there, to try to identify as many of the sources we used to make it. The reward, for a lucky winner: JFD will review any one movie you'd like on an upcoming show (immediately following the end of the contest). It's like our old Dom Deluise program, except 100% free and 1000% fun.

The rules are simple: start making a list of the sources you can identify - no timecodes or anything, just names of the movies/etc that are shown in the video.

The majority, but NOT all of the sources are movies that we reviewed on the podcast.

To prevent someone from just copy/pasting a list of all the movies we ever did, the scoring works like this: plus one point for every correct answer, and minus one point for every wrong answer listed.

Gobble, gobble, Junkies! JFD returns to close out November with a cinematic feast of cult delights!

Up first, Steven Kostanski the director who brought us such JFD classics as Frankie Freako, Psycho Goreman and Father's Day gives us his take on the 80's sword and sandals staple Deathstalker from 2025. With the violence and practical effects turned up to 11 and featuring Daniel Bernhardt in the titular role and Patton Oswalt providing the voice of his mystical sidekick, can this reboot live up to the original?

Next, Andy Warhol scenester Holly Woodlawn stars in the wacky musical comedy Scarecrow in a Garden of Cucumbers from 1972. The film, which has been unavailable for decades and just recently got restored and released by AGFA, chronicles the misadventures of a young woman looking for fame in love on the mean streets of New York City.

Finally, a professional special effects artist (Bryan Brown) is recruited by the US Department of Justice to stage a fake assassination of a prominent mob figure in the 1986 thriller F/X. The flick also stars many other recognizable character actors such as Brian Dennehy, Cliff De Young, Jerry Orbach and Tom Noonan.

And finally, a group of college losers attempt to throw an ultimate party in order to save their frat and get even with the jocks who ridicule them in 1989's Assault of the Party Nerds!

Finally, Larry Fessenden tells a modern-day Frankenstein story in 2019's Depraved about a military doctor who creates life from the remains of the dead and faces the moral implications that go along with it.

Then, we get a rare 70's porno directed by an actual female (Svetlana Mischoff), 800 Fantasy Lane from 1979 starring Jamie Gillis who poses as a potential real estate investor to infiltrate a company of sexy and seductive real estate agents.

Up first, OG SNL writer Tom Schiller directs a short for Cinemax Comedy Experiment in 1988 titled Flapjack Floozie starring Teri Garr as a turn-of-the-century singer with and addiction for pancakes that almost spells her demise.

Then, the director of License to Drive and the writers of Bill and Ted tell the tale of a boring middle-aged suburban couple (the disgraced Jeffrey Jones and the wonderful Teri Garr) who are kidnapped by an alien dictator (Jon Lovitz) in the visually impressive Mom and Dad Save the World from 1992.

And finally, Teri Garr plays the mother of a young boy played by Ben Savage who befriends an alien played by Sinbad, who he finds in a box of cereal and helps him defeat an intergalactic threat in the made-for-TV movie Aliens for Breakfast from 1995.

Finally, they review David Fincher's 1992 debut, "Alien 3" starring Sigourney Weaver and a handful of some of the best character actors ever assembled. Audiences at the time didn't like Fincher's nihilstic take on the franchise but will Sean and Parker?

JFD677: Satanik, Doberman Cop, Demon Cop

Your JFD boys are back this month with three tales of police work and the possibly the work of The Devil.

Up first, an ugly lady is transformed into a sexy seductress thanks to an experimental potion but it also amplifies her lust for murder in Satanik from 1968, based on the Italian comic book of the same name.

Next, director Kinji Fukasaku and Sonny Chiba team up for Doberman Cop from 1977. Chiba plays a badass but rural cop from Ishigaki Island who comes to Tokyo to solve a murder/missing persons case that he has personal ties to.

Finally, a cop gets supernatural powers in the midst of an epidemic of gang violence in the low-budget, shot-on-video action flick Demon Cop from 1990.

All this plus, comparing the two hot new horror releases; Maxxxine and Longlegs, weird old movies in the theater, wild new blu-ray releases, updates (or lack there of) of the Young Charles TV show and so much more.
