Who doesn’t love a scavenger hunt!?

23 awesome Entangled authors are going to be prowling the halls at RT, just waiting for you to find them. We’ve got oodles of prizes and seriously cannot wait to meet you all!

RULES: 23 participating Entangled Publishing authors* want to meet YOU! See all the pretty book covers on this flyer? ALL the authors of those books will be hanging out at RT and each of us will be armed with a ton of little personalized stickers (YAY! Stickers!). Find each one of us and we’ll affix our special sticker to your flyer. Save Christine Bell for last since she’s the keeper of the prizes. Show her all 23 unique stickers and you’ve completed the hunt. First 3 people to get all 23 stickers wins!

*hint* We’ll be wearing our stickers on our name tags to help you find us, but scour any Entangled events or panels to find a bunch of us in one place!

Once all prizes have been claimed, we’ll announce the winners & the end of the contest on Twitter (hashtag #EntangledHunt). If no one collects all 23 stickers by Sat. 5/4 at 10 p.m., we’ll extend a Twitter invitation for you to take a picture or scan your Scavenger Hunt flyer with stickers clearly visible & email or tweet it to us within 24 hrs. The 3 entrants with the MOST stickers will be our winners & prizes will be mailed. In the event of a tie, prizes will be awarded in the order that the pictures are received.

Now for the loot!

1st Prize: $300 Amazon/BN/Kobo/any e-book retailer gift card. Can be used for anything the winner would like, including an be-reader, tablet, books and more.

2nd Prize: A Kindle Fire & eBooks from all the participating authors. Kindle will be given to the winner at RT. Winner will provide an email address so that each author can gift a copy of their e-book via Amazon to them (See all the books included on the back of this flyer).

3rd Prize: $50 Gift Card from e-book seller of winner’s choice.

*Additional awesome * Spot Giveaways: In addition to the above prizes, each of the 23 participating authors will be doing two spot giveaways during RT. Follow our hashtag on Twitter (#EntangledHunt) as each day, more than a dozen authors will tweet their location at the conference and a directive. Find the author first and follow their directive and YOU WIN!

Now for the nitty gritty. This is not a contest about skill. It’s about imagination. Anything is fair game so long as it’s done with imagination.

Photo manipulation, book trailers, sketches–the sky is the limit. Have a fave Dez and Kale saying? Show me. Have an idea for an alternate cover for one of the books. Let’s see it. Dying to see stick figures play out the epic battle scene at the end of Touch? Go for it! Anything goes.

There are some exciting things on the horizon. Some things I can tell you about. Others, well…. I can’t

As some of you know, The Denazen series has been extended another two books. I don’t have dates for books 4 or 5, but I’ll keep everyone posted as soon as I hear.

In June (I believe the 17th) the first book in the Darker Agency series will release. It’s called Darker Days and I know I’ve been pretty hush hush about it, but I should have some awesomeness to share soon. In the meantime, I can give you one tiny little sneaky hint about one of my favorite characters…

Also, there’s a super-secret project I’ve been working on for awhile now. I can’t tell you much yet, but it’s NA and the titled is Ruined. It’s slated for a mid-summer release. I’ll drop more details as they become available!

Valentine’s Day is almost upon us, so I thought we’d hang out today with Dez, Kale, and Alex to talk about their plans for the big day! So tell me, guys, what’s everyone doing this February 14th?

Alex: I’ve got a date. *peeks at Dez from the corner of his eye* She’s wicked hot, too. Hottest girl I’ve ever met.

Dez: *rolls her eyes* Blow up dolls don’t count. *throws her arm around Kale* We’ve got a night of movie goodness ahead of us, starting with Lady and the Tramp.

Alex: *snorts*

Kale: What?

Alex: Lady and the Tramp? Dude. You suck as a boyfriend.

Kale: The movie is bad?

Dez: Don’t listen to him. There’s nothing wrong with it.

Alex: Nothing wrong with the movie, brother man. It’s the fact that you’re planning to sit home. You’re supposed to take her out someplace fancy. Flowers. Chocolate. All that crap.

Kale: *looks at Dez slightly panicked* Why didn’t you tell me any of this? I don’t want to suck as a boyfriend.

Alex: *waggles his eyebrows* You might be okay. Some girls like guys who suck.

Dez: Classy. Real classy. *turns to Kale* It’s supposed to be about spending time with the one you love, but people make it more about going out to expensive restaurants and buying heart shaped chocolates. Not my idea of fun.

Kale: *looks a little green* Why would anyone want chocolate the shape of a heart?

Alex: *blinks* You’re like—I don’t—what the hell does she see in you?

Kale: I’m hotter than you.

Alex: Whatever, dude.

Kale: And a better kisser.

Alex: In your head maybe.

Kale: I’ve also got better hair.

Alex: I’ve got epic hair!

Kale: *shakes his head* You look like Billy Idol.

Alex: You don’t even know who that is!

Kale: Plus, I’m lethal. Girls like dangerous. *looks to Dez for confirmation*

Alex: You’re delusional. Where are you getting all this?

Kale: *grins* Dez told me. Right before we—

Dez: *slaps her hand across Kale’s mouth* You better go, Alex. Wouldn’t want your hot date to get cold…

Thanks for having me today, Jus! I’m so excited to share some of the pictures that inspired FLAWED—especially the pictures of Sarah, Sam, and James. I love hearing from readers who have developed their own dream casts for a book. SARAH:
Sarah is a cross between this older picture of Fiona Apple and this model I found. Vulnerable. Sad. Waiting for someone like Sam to wake her up.

SAM:
Logan Lerman, with his ability to shift from intense to adorable with a single smile, is the perfect Sam. His character really came together in my mind after I watched Percy Jackson the first time.

JAMES:
I knew who James was the second I saw Jeremy Sumpter in the movie Peter Pan. He’s charming, yes, but there’s just something dark about him…

Welcome to the Entangled Under the Mistletoe Blog Hop! The Holiday Season is upon us, and that means lots of awesome—and a little bit of chaos, too. I thought I’d share a few of the wonderful things I loved about the holiday—and a few I could live without.

What I love…

1. The food. I’m Italian, so pretty much every holiday involves crazy amounts of awesome food. I have pictures of holiday tables decked out with the most amazing dishes you can possible imagine. Sweet potato pie flanked by mashed potatoes with melted cheese and steaming corn bread pudding. Beef roasts and golden brown turkeys. Pies and cakes decorated in reds and greens. Hmm. I’m hungry now!

2. The family and friends. They don’t call it the busiest travel day of the year for nothing. Family and friends come from all over to sit down together in peaceful reflection. It’s the perfect time to remember and be thankful for all the blessings in life we normally take for granted.

3. The memories. Anytime family and friends gather for a holiday, memories are made. There was the first Christmas morning with your husband (or wife). You fumbled through making your very first holiday meal, everyone insisting it was fantastic. Or the year your cousin proposed to his girlfriend using three sing-grammers dressed as reindeer. And no one will forget the year you decorated the entire house from top to bottom. Everything from handmade winter inspired table cloth, to scattered snowflakes on the floor.

What I hate…

1. The food. There’s so much of it—and it all looks amazing. You eat and eat and eat until your clothing no longer fits and mashed potatoes start running from your ears. Friday rolls around, and guess what? The food is still there! Each time you open the fridge it’s calling to you. It reappears on the dinner table over and over again for the next week. Like a nightmare… It never frigging ends…

2. The family and friends. They invade your house like locusts…consuming anything and everything that’s not nailed down. They break your stuff, terrorize your pets, and clog your toilet with things that would make Clive Barker run away screaming.

3. The memories. (aka the nightmares) Who wouldn’t want to remember the year drunk uncle Carmine set fire to the living room rug in an attempt to burn out Satan? Or the time crazy aunt Gia ran naked through the house with her eyes closed screaming Marco Polo? And you know you’ll never forget your cousin’s twelve year old twins taking a leak on the fake potted fern because it looked like it needed a drink.

All in all, I really can’t complain. Much. I love the holidays and I love my family—burning carpets and clogged toilets included. So how about you? What do you love (or hate) about the holidays?

I’ve been ready to explode, sitting on this for so long, but I can finally announce the sale of my new YA paranormal series! Have a peek at the PM announcement…
