Malam ni aku belek-belek balik gambar kahwin. Tak tahu kenapa, rasa dia lain. Padahal baru je berlalu. Tapi hati ni cepat sangat rindu. Rindu pada momen yang aku sendiri pun belum sempat hadam betul-betul.

Gambar bawah ni — aku pilih tiga dulu. Bukan sebab paling cantik. Tapi sebab masa ni, aku rasa macam dunia kejap senyap. Aku tak dengar bunyi orang, tak fikir apa-apa. Aku cuma rasa, "Ya Allah, aku dah kahwin."

Aku tak pasti orang lain rasa macam mana waktu kahwin, tapi untuk aku... dia bukan cuma majlis. Dia satu detik yang buat aku rasa berubah, tanpa aku sedar. Dari seorang anak, aku jadi isteri. Dari hidup sendiri-sendiri, ke hidup yang perlu banyak belajar kongsi.

A Day in My Life – Between Work Stress & Missing You

Setiap pagi, alarm belum sempat bunyi pun aku dah celik mata. I'm the type yang suka bersiap awal. Biar lambat sikit keluar rumah, janji tak kelam kabut. Lepas siap-siap, terus gerak ke office macam biasa.

Sampai je office, the first thing on my mind — breakfast! Nasib baik office aku memang pemurah. Free Indian breakfast & lunch disediakan setiap hari. Tapi harini aku skip lunch sebab menu dia… sardin. Hmm, not in the mood.

So I decided to go out and treat myself. Shell Out lunch set RM19.90 — affordable, sedap, and worth it.

And oh, I’m not the type yang takut makan sorang, lepak sorang. From before kahwin sampai sekarang pun, aku memang jenis independent. Kalau rasa nak makan sedap, I’ll just go and enjoy it — no need to tunggu orang temankan. Kadang-kadang moment macam tu yang paling therapeutic.

Kerja pulak? Let’s just say… bukan kerja yang boleh buat sambil pejam mata. Aku terlibat dalam bidang locomotive, and handling this kind of project is no joke. High pressure, full of technical details, and lots of coordination. But I enjoy it — sebab aku tahu ini satu bidang yang rare dan aku bangga jadi sebahagian daripadanya.

Aku jenis yang clear boundaries – kerja is kerja. Personal life, biar luar pintu office. Dari dulu sampai sekarang, aku pegang prinsip tu. Alhamdulillah, aku memang seorang yang strong, disciplined, and passionate about what I do.

Walaupun hari-hari aku penuh dengan task yang tak habis-habis, dalam diam aku tetap rindu. Suamiku, jauh di perantauan, tapi aku tahu dia pun tengah berjuang macam aku. Kita sama-sama kejar impian, cuma jarak je yang memisahkan sekarang.

So yeah, nothing too fancy today. Just one of those normal days — kerja, lunch, rindu.

Tapi kadang-kadang, hari biasa pun boleh jadi istimewa, kalau kita pandang dengan hati yang bersyukur.

A Year To Try, To Hope, To Prepare…

Honestly, this post is a little special — because it marks the start of a very personal journey. 🥺

I made a decision recently.

I told my husband to come and stay with me in Malaysia… for a year. 💑

Why just one year?

Because I’m not ready to quit my job yet. I still feel like I need this — not just for money, but for my self-worth, my confidence, and my mental strength 💼💆🏻‍♀️

So now, he’s still in Turkey 🇹🇷

Working hard, kumpul duit, and preparing himself mentally. InsyaAllah, this coming September, he’ll fly here and live with me for one year. One full year for us to try to conceive (TTC), to adapt, and to grow together ❤️

The challenge?

He doesn’t speak English or Malay 😅

It’s going to be tough for him. But he’s willing to sacrifice all that — just to be with me, to support me, and to walk this path together as husband and wife.

So what’s this blog to me now?

This blog… is like my little safe space.

I will write here — maybe not every day, maybe not in perfect grammar — but honestly, from my heart. 💌

I want to document this one year. The ups, the downs, the breakdowns, the small wins. Dan kalau dalam masa setahun ni masih belum ada rezeki TTC kat Malaysia… mungkin dah tiba masa untuk saya berhijrah ikut dia ke Turki nanti ✈️🇹🇷

Doakan perjalanan ni dipermudahkan. I may smile a lot, but deep inside — I’m nervous too. But one thing for sure, I believe in Allah’s plan 💫

Assalamualaikum & hai semua!

Hari ni saya buat satu benda yang agak besar (untuk diri sendiri la 😅) — saya first time share link blog dekat public, especially kat thread.

Debor dia lain macam wehh! Rasa macam... "Eh nanti orang baca ke? Eh nanti orang judge ke?" 🤭

Tapi dalam masa sama, saya cakap dekat diri sendiri:

Hari ini, sambil dengar lagu Istikharah Cinta, aku buat satu video kecil. Tapi lagu itu bawa aku kembali ke satu momen — saat aku sujud lama, dengan satu nama dalam doa.

Aku tak pernah ada dua pilihan. Hanya satu. Tapi tak semua yang kita minta akan jadi milik kita… dan tak semua yang datang tanpa diduga itu, tak layak dihargai.

✨ Sebuah Doa, Sebuah Takdir ✨

kata mereka,

istikharah itu… untuk dua pilihan.

tapi masa tu,

cuma satu nama yang kusebut dalam doa 🤍

tanpa ragu,

tanpa siapa-siapa lagi…

hati ni dah pun memilih.

tapi Allah,

Dia lebih tahu,

tentang hal-hal yang tak sampai pada fikiran manusia…

dan rahsia yang belum sempat aku mengerti 🌙

dalam dua bulan,

semuanya perlahan-lahan berubah.

bukan seperti yang aku harapkan,

tapi jujur,

lebih indah daripada apa yang pernah aku bayangkan 🌷

lalu Dia hadir…

bukan yang kupinta dalam doa,

tapi yang Allah tahu aku perlukan.

tenangnya,

lembut jiwanya,

cara dia bercerita pun buat hati rasa…

“ya Allah, ini ketenangan yang aku cari.” ☁️

dan waktu itu, aku pun faham —

rupanya, doaku bukan tak dijawab…

cuma Allah hantar yang lebih baik ✨

Puisi ini aku tulis bukan untuk sesiapa, tapi untuk hati aku sendiri yang pernah rasa kecewa… dan akhirnya, redha.

Kadang-kadang, kita terlalu yakin dengan apa yang kita rasa. Kita percaya, dialah orangnya. Kita berdoa dengan bersungguh, menangis dalam tahajud, berharap Allah makbulkan seperti yang kita mahu. Tapi rupanya... Allah jawab dengan cara yang lain.

Sekarang aku tahu, istikharah bukan hanya untuk memilih antara dua orang — tapi untuk menyerahkan segalanya pada Yang Satu.

Bila kita lepaskan, kita akan nampak:

Apa yang datang bukan sekadar pengganti... tapi pelengkap.

Jika kau sedang menunggu jawapan dari langit, sabarlah. Doa yang tak terjawab, belum tentu ditolak. Mungkin… ia sedang diarahkan kepada sesuatu yang lebih baik dari apa yang kau minta.

Kerana jodoh itu, benar-benar rahsia Allah.

Menanti Rezeki Zuriat – Permulaan Sebuah Doa yang Panjang

Aku masih baru bergelar isteri.

Baru mula sehelai demi sehelai cerita rumah tangga. Tapi diam-diam… dalam hati ini sudah terdetik satu harapan — semoga Allah pinjamkan aku rasa menjadi seorang ibu.

Aku tahu aku tak keseorangan.

Ramai wanita di luar sana sedang menunggu.

Ada yang sudah lama mencuba, ada yang baru mula, dan ada juga yang hanya mampu berharap diam-diam.

Aku menulis ini bukan kerana aku tahu semuanya, tapi kerana aku mahu menyimpan jejak – jejak sebuah perjalanan yang mungkin penuh sabar, mungkin juga penuh air mata… tapi insyaAllah, penuh makna.

Umurku sekarang 37. Suamiku 40.

Kami bukan pasangan muda. Tapi kami adalah pasangan yang penuh harapan.

Dan aku tahu, usia bukan penentu segalanya. Rezeki itu tetap milik Tuhan.

Buat masa ini, aku sedang buat pemeriksaan asas, jaga pemakanan, ambil suplemen.

Tapi yang paling aku jaga, adalah hati. Supaya tak terlalu gelisah. Supaya tak terlalu tertekan. Supaya aku percaya… rezeki itu akan datang — bila masa dah tiba.

Kalau kamu sedang membaca ini dan kamu pun sedang dalam perjalanan TTC…

Ketahuilah, kamu tak sendiri.

Kita mungkin tak kenal, tapi doa kita mungkin sedang melintasi satu sama lain.

Being a Wife Behind the Scenes – Not Everyone Sees It

Being a wife from a distance wasn’t something I planned.

But this is the path that God has written for us.

On the outside, people see me holding it all together — managing work, daily life, looking fine.

But behind the scenes… there's a part of me quietly holding in the longing.

A part of me pretending to be too busy, just to stop myself from thinking about him too much.

People ask,

“When are you going to visit your husband?”

“Why aren’t you two living together yet?”

I just smile.

Not everything has an easy answer.

There are so many things I’m still figuring out — work, finances, timing, the world being unstable lately. It’s not an excuse. It’s just reality.

And I’m doing my best to face it with strength.

They saw our beautiful wedding photos.

But not many know the story after that.

We built this marriage across countries.

We’re learning to be husband and wife through longing, through prayers, through video calls that sometimes disconnect.

But we never disconnect from hope.

Each day I learn to be patient.

Each night I remind myself to believe — our time will come.

God willing, I’ll visit him this September.

I just pray everything goes smoothly.

To all the wives out there living far from their husbands — I see you.

And I pray you stay strong. Just like I’m trying to be, every single day.

Because being a wife doesn’t always mean being next to him every day…

It means your heart stays loyal, your prayers stay sincere — no matter the distance.

Malam ini sunyi... tapi hati aku tak sepi.

Kerana di satu ruang yang jauh dari pandangan, ada seseorang yang aku rindu — suamiku di Turki.

Sudah beberapa bulan kami berjauhan. Bukan mudah, bukan juga mustahil. Tapi aku akui, ada malam-malam seperti ini, di mana air mata bertakung tanpa sebab yang jelas. Rindu itu tak bersuara, tapi kuat menekan dada.

Aku cuba sibukkan diri setiap hari. Kataku pada diri, “Sabarlah, sedikit masa lagi…”

Tapi dunia pula bergelora.

Perang yang berlaku di rantau seberang semakin merisaukan. Iran, Israel… dan bayangan ketidakpastian yang menyelinap ke laluan udara. Aku risau — sebagai isteri, sebagai wanita yang cuma mahu bertemu orang yang dia cinta.

Tapi aku tak mahu tunduk pada ketakutan. Aku tahu Allah ada. Dan setiap perjalanan, jika diniatkan dengan sabar dan doa, pasti ada jalan yang selamat. Aku hanya perlu tunggu masa yang sesuai. Tiket belum dibeli, masih menunggu peluang terbaik — insyaAllah, bulan 7 nanti aku akan buat keputusan. Dan jika diizinkan Tuhan, bulan 9 aku akan terbang ke pelukan suami, membawa semua rindu yang telah lama aku pendam.

Malam ini aku belajar satu perkara:

Rindu bukan kelemahan. Ia tanda cinta masih hidup.

Dan kekuatan bukan bermakna tak menangis. Tapi tetap berdiri walau hati sedang berkaca.

Doakan kami.

Doakan dunia kembali damai.

Dan doakan agar perjalanan nanti dipermudahkan.

Kerana malam ini, walau gelap… aku yakin cahaya itu sedang menunggu.

🏢 Step 1: Go to the Turkish Embassy in Kuala Lumpur 🇹🇷

📍 Location: Menara Tan & Tan, Kuala Lumpur

⏰ Level: 18th Floor

Honestly... I was SO NERVOUS 😰 the first time I went.

But no worries — I’ll guide you through!

🔐 Important Reminder Before You Go:

Bring your IC or passport ✅

Bring your partner’s passport ✅

You MUST have an appointment, or you can’t enter ❌

🖥️ How to Make an Appointment:

1. Go to the official Turkish Embassy website

2. Select “Make an Appointment” (don’t worry — the website can auto-translate to English 🇬🇧)

3. Choose your service type & fill in your info

4. You’ll receive an appointment date and confirmation email

Easy, right? 😊

🧾 What Happens Inside the Embassy?

When you arrive:

1. Security will collect your phone 📵

2. They’ll give you a card and send you to the waiting area

3. Wait for your number to be called

Then, go to the counter and:

Submit your partner’s passport and Turkish ID (Kimlik Card)

Request the “Certificate of No Impediment” (Sijil Bujang / Single Status Cert)

💵 Fee: Around RM84 (please double-check)

After you receive the 1-page certificate, you’re ready for the next step!

For those getting married in Pahang, you must register at:

I was like: "EH???" 😰😰😰

My heart dropped.

I forgot all about that!

And now we only had TWO WEEKS left before the nikah 😵‍💫

I searched everywhere.

Google, IG, friends, forums... just to find someone who could translate from Turkish to Malay during the nikah.

And guess what?

The prices were scary! 😭

Some were too far, some too busy, some just... vanished 🥲

I was so heartbroken. I thought… “Ya Allah, is this a sign our wedding might not happen?”

🏔️ Genting Then Kuantan — Meeting The Parents

After one week in KL, we went up to Genting Highlands for a short trip to meet Rusydi & Haiqal 🌫️🎡. Then… we hit the road straight to Kuantan — the big moment.

It was finally time to meet my parents.

Nervous? YES 😰.

Excited? Double YES 🥺.

We only stayed 3 days and 2 nights, but it felt like such a meaningful moment in our journey.

👨‍👧 Dad's Words — The Turning Point

My dad sat down with Hamza and gave him his full blessing... but in his own cool, chill way 😎. He said: used google translate ok!!

> “Go back and think. If you want to marry, Alhamdulillah. If not, it’s okay.”

Later, I spoke privately with Hamza too. I told him:

> “I’ll give you one week. Think carefully.”

But do you know what he replied? 🥹

> “Nadia, I came for marriage. I don’t need more time. If I wanted to leave, I would’ve left 3 years ago. Not now.”

🥺💔 I cried, of course. That was when I knew — he’s really all in.

😋 Arab Food? Turkish Food? RM2k Finish!

We basically went on a 7-day food tour — but only for Arab and Turkish food!

Why? Because Hamza's tummy was on strike 💀 every time he ate Malaysian food. Every nasi lemak = sakit perut. Every roti canai = emergency! 🏥💩

So… guess what?

💸 USD500 (RM2300+) gone in just one week.

All on shawarma, kebab, hummus, lamb mandi, baklava... etc.....

Honestly, I was a bit stressed, but then again — nasib duit dia, lantak dia lah 😅. I just didn’t want him to starve and faint kat Malaysia 😭.

Hamza came with just two or three shirts 😆 — but a bag FULL of gifts!

He brought:

Turkish nuts and snacks 🥜

Gummies and chocolates 🍬🍫

Cute souvenirs

And even something sweet for my family ❤️

Of course, we did a little shopping too 🛍️. But it wasn’t full-day jalan-jalan since I still had to work during the day 😵‍💫.

Every night, after work, I’d pick him up, we’d go out for a few hours, then I’d send him back to the hotel… and I’d go back home 😴.
