Dressin' Up For Summer

2011-05-20T09:45:00.000-07:00

Hello, Hello, Summer!

Well, whaddaya know? Summer's officially back!
And I can slowly feel the heat of the Summer Sunshine as summer days and nights go by. Lucky for us, the heat hasn't been as tough as how we expect it to be, based on our previous summer experiences. Well, maybe that's just for now, coz boyyyyyy, the heat here in Macau could be pretty serious!

In this outfit, i'll be showing you how I would usually dress-up during the summer time.
My fashion style is all about feeling comfy on what I wear while, of course, keeping the right amount of coordination and styling. So this summer, you'd usually see me wearing light pieces of clothing like printed tees, sleeveless tops, shorts, skirts, light jeans, light dresses, wedges, etc., since it could get really really hot out here. I just couldn't take it when it's so hot, plus i'm feeling super uncomfy with what i'm wearing! Ugh!

This look would work perfectly fine for me when I just plan to go out and meet my girlfriends over a frappe, or window shop, chill outside, or when there's just some casual and normal outdoor plans going on. So yeah, that'll be my usual look for the Summer Season. Light and Simple. Tell me what's yours! ♥

I ♥ Bolero Jackets

2011-04-24T08:19:00.000-07:00

Don't you just love Bolero Jackets?

Coz I do! Bolero jackets are just so stylish. I love it when they transform simple shirts to gorgeous outfits! They make you look so trendy yet simple, or casual yet decent, if you know what I mean. It's kind of balancing your look, you know? It's easy to mix 'n match outfits with them, too! Plus, they're perfect for Autumn and Spring seasons since the weather temperature tends to change anytime of the day, especially in Macau.

In this outfit, i'm wearing this denim bolero in three-quarter sleeves, paired with my simple gray dress. This outfit's quite simple but i loved how the denim color popped. I really hope you'd like it!

By the way, I'd like to take this chance to thank my superfriend Carla, for having so much patience on taking these photos for me. Check out her blog and you'll love her! ♥

Preppin' For Summer

2011-04-17T11:06:00.000-07:00

Time flies super fast, don't you think? Well, I do!

Seems like 'twas just yesterday when I was freezing in Winter. And whaddaya know,
Summer heat, we've meet again! ☀

For this dress-up, I decided not wear super brightly colored clothing coz it's not yet totally Summer and it's still in the middle of the Spring season.
I thought that if i'd pick brightly colored top or jeans, I might scare people off. I'm exaggerating, of course! So to go abit with the Spring trend, I decided to pick neutral colors, from light brown to black.
Brown is one of my favorite colors coz my boyfriend always loved it when i'm wearing anything brown. My boyfriend's not really a fan of the latest fashion trends coz he always preferred simple outfits over trendy ones, which we always argued about. It's not that I don't wanna be simple, but I just don't wanna feel plain, if you know what I mean.
Story of my Life! Haha! So, i'll leave you with these pictures and don't forget to leave you precious comments below. See you in a bit sweeties! ♥

Where Were We?

2011-04-10T09:24:00.000-07:00

Umm, Where Were We again?

Oh yea! I know, I know, i'm super lagging with my blogposts.
I'm really really sorry sweeties :{

Its just that i've been super super busy and tired these past few days and that i've never had a chance to meet up with my superfriends to take blog photos and stuffs. That's why it was hard enough for me to catch up with you, sweeties. Well, just so you know, i'm still super dependent with my superfriends when it comes to blogging and pictorials. Its just that, I still don't know much. Pardon me. Really.

So yea, my boyfriend's 22nd birthday came and traditionally,

we have spent it in a place called "Hac Sa" (Black Sand Beach, in english) to have some BBQs. Yes, he traditionally spends his birthday in Hac Sa over a BBQ Party. And that was since, uhh, even before we've met! True Story!

And of course, as for me, Cristina, Carla and Chezka, it was also our chance to take photos for our blogs! We figured that it'll be cute to take pictures of our spring/summer outfits, as we were at the beach. Well, its a black sand beach, but still! Haha! I just can't wait till superfriends crashes Boracay! ♥

HERE'S A BIT MORE OF ME!

Oh, sorry bout the shoes. I know, it doesn't go well with the overall.

I really really wanted to wear wedges but sad me, I only own this pair! :{

I have to own a pair that'd suit spring/summer get-ups, right?

BTW, say hello to my fabulous superfriend, Cristina,

whom i've already mentioned in my first blogpost ever.

And check out her new blog too! So yea, I just hope you like the photos.

I'll try to talk to you soon. Pinky Promise. See you in a bit! ♥

The Dress Up Newbie

2011-03-24T20:10:00.000-07:00

Yes! I'm a Dress Up Newbie.

I'm not exaggerating, but really, it's my first time ever to dress-up for a fashion pictorial! Well of course, it's not done professionally and I was super unprepared. I know, I know, i'm super two-thousand-and-late, since fashion blogging has been trending for a few years already. But hey, it's never too late right?

I was super happy that I joined my superfriends - Carla and Chezka with their fashion blog pictorial! At first, I was kinda hesitant coz I just got off from a long and crazy day at work and I was still wearing my working uniform. Plus, I also had to meet my boyfriend as soon as he gets off from work. Oh, just so you know, Yes! I do have a boyfriend. Anywho, since I still had a few hours till my boyfriend gets off from work, I decided to pay them first a visit at Carla's mom's Boutique and watch how they strike their poses for their gorgeous blog photos!

So there I went! After giving out hugs & kisses and exchanging "how are you's", all I had left to do was to sit down and watch them take off those cute clothes that they've just worn for the pictorial. Great! Too late, wasn't I? =.= I really thought that I totally missed their pictorial but good thing I dint! Instead, I was even convinced to pick up a few pieces of clothing from Carla, Chezka and the Boutique and try out my stiff and rusty style of posing. I mean, seriously! To tell you the truth, I'm not really comfortable with striking poses on a solo. IKR? But thanks so much to our experts - Carla and Chezka for being super patient and supportive on taking these photos and helping me strike my amateur poses! I swear, I couldn't have done it without you guys! Love ya both! ♥

HERE'S A BIT MORE OF ME!

What I'm Wearing:

Top - Carla's mom's Boutique

Bottom - Courtesy of Carla's mom's Boutique

Shoes - Courtesy of Carla

Ring - Courtesy of Chezka

So yea, those are the photos that I've picked from my first fashion pictorial ever! I do hope you appreciate them! Notice that everything i've worn on the photos are all borrowed? Well, except from the top which I just purchased on credit on that very moment. Thanks Carla! That's because I din't bring anything at all! Not even a ring! So thanks again to Carla and Chezka, and to the Boutique of course! I'll try to post more Dress Up photos soon and I promise to do better! Just give me some more time, okay sweeties? See you in a bit! ♥

My Blogging Story

2011-03-15T05:15:00.001-07:00

What I'm Wearing:

Maid of Honor Dress - Tailor Made (Philippines)

After generations of planning and rambling about how much i wanted to have my own blog, I finally-finally-finally got to have one! And yes, I had to repeat the word "finally" thrice. I know, I know! =.=

Way way back, I remember making a blog with a really really cheesy name. It dint really work for me though, coz I dint really have anything in mind, like what to post and stuffs. Speaking of, I don't even know if it still exists! And to be honest, I barely even remember what name I picked. Maybe it could've been something like, uhh, "yoyolovesyou" or "yoyoheartcore", or something as silly as that! Oh, just so you know, "yoyo", is in fact, one of my nicks. So yea...

Then I signed up for a Multiply account, which I managed to design and stuffs like that. It was abit better than my first blog just because I already know a few people who owns a Multiply account. So you know, we could view each other's posts and stuffs like that. But then I dint really find it interesting anymore so I kinda stopped logging in to that.

A couple of years ahead, I started to use tumblr because I wanted to track down my all-time fave band, PARAMORE. I know, i'm such a groupie. But hey, they're super awesome! Though I heard from alot of people (and the band's brothers) that they're already disbanded! I don't wanna believe coz I've been their biggest fan for so many years and, *heavy sighs* Anywho, I actually made a few couple of posts on that tumblr page but then again I eventually got bored and tired with it. So yea, i'm sure you know what happened next.

But thanks to two of my superfriends - Carla & Chezka,

coz after having fun reading their blogs, i finally-finally-finally decided to have my own blog too! Pardon me for repeating "finally" thrice, again! Check out their blogs, they're super super awesome! A BIG-BIG-BIG SHOUTOUT to both of them for giving me the idea of making my own blog and for being such inspirations, not only as fashion bloggers but as superawesome friends! Also to the rest of my superfriends - Cristina, Ivan, Camille, my sister Paola, and to my other awesome friends who are all so fashionable in their own ways, a SUPER BIG THANK YOU and I SUPER LOVE YOU!

So, this makes it my first blogpost ever! I know, I know, this is super boring but please bare with it for now coz to be honest, I still don't have anything in mind! But I pinky promise to post more stuffs soon! So yea, I'll see you in a bit? ♥
