Each and every one of these shots could be my wallpaper...

And I say that not necessarily as an exaggeration, but perhaps to better to put into perspective just how striking [read: breathtaking/awe-inspiring/amazing what have you] this level of photography truly is (at least in yours truly's humble opinion)...

Simply...

Surreal...

And would you believe it if I said I have absolutely not even the slightest as to who the model being portrayed in these phenomenal shots might be? It's true... I've actually never seen him before. And if I had to go off on the most vaguest of vague clues, I'd kinda/probably/maybe place him as Danish? (again, don't quote me on this)...

Be that as it may, regardless of where he might be from, I think it's safe to say we've achieved work of art status here. Like the type of photography you'd expect from say a David Vance or a Fred Goudon or a couple others... (although I'm about 99.99999% sure neither of those greats took these shots).

But yes, I'd say these are about as perfect a portrayal of a living work of art as you can get...

Re-Decoration in Progress

I'd love to say I've got a few more clever ideas for re-decorating a somewhat dilapidated apartment (perhaps studio maybe?)... I really would...

Fact is though, I've got nothing... As in just sitting here off the top of my head, I really can't think of a better way to spruce up a somewhat aged apartment (shall we say, rough around the edges?) than perhaps parking a gorgeous... fit... wash-board adorned... questionably attired living ornament ... Let's just hope the guests won't mind .

Should I or should I not...

A good $60 burning a hole in my pocket, and a game that for all intents and purposes looks like a lot of fun... but has been somewhat on the receiving end of wildly fluctuating review scores for the better part of a week since its US release...

A game hailed by its developer as the be all and end all of all RPGs, promising so much yet time and again coming woefully short. The third iteration no less in a series that I must admit I have enjoyed in the past in spite of the aforementioned disappointments and short-comings. A third iteration that I'm getting awfully close to purchasing perhaps this weekend... Hm, should I do it, or shouldn't I ?

Again, the game does look like a lot of fun... And would you believe it if I told you last weekends AP-sourced news rounds were awash tales of Fable-inspired marriages and adoptions? (read: same-sex marriages and adoptions in an RPG)... It's true, apparently the developers over at Lionhead Studios took it upon themselves to give an in-depth presentation (almost)...

They shied away from playing as two males, but I think an in-studio proposal is about as close as it gets for these guys . But yeah... love and marriage between gaming buddies, and all that for better or for worse stuff aside, I'm still kind of torn as to whether I should pick this one up. Mayhaps I should try it out and keep the receipt in case? Anybody else had a chance to try this game? It released on Tuesday here in the US and should be out in the UK today, so any thoughts/impressions so far?...

EW Assembles the First Avenger

And so it begins... The campaign promoting what might be/most likely will definitely be one of the biggest movies of 2011 kicks off (officially) for the November 5th issue of Entertainment Weekly... And things I must say are looking pretty much the antithesis of that early 90s debacle we'd all soon rather imagine never existed...

Fantastic stuff.. Already we've been treated to a super buff Chris (parading about in i'm assuming hobbit-like boots?)... So of course it's an added treat to get to delve a little deeper into the mind of the man behind the star-spangled shield... And perhaps get an idea of just how well he feels he's fitting into the role...

Assuming he can still fit in a decent shirt... wow ...

We've apparently come a long way from those early 2004 pre-smartphone shirtless days... Quite a longs way indeed.

I can't exactly say for sure what's being assembled here... But I figure I might as well stick around and get to the bottom of this ...

Ah, I see, so there's a sound stage involved here... And apparently these yellow metal thingies over on the floor are meant for... I take it erecting some sort scaffolding or some other?.. Interesting, might as well lend a hand I guess ...

Ok, so from what I gather, this metal bar goes over (*boxers flash through mind*) t-h-e-r-e... Err, yeah, anyway (*catches cute grin*)...... Ok, where was I supposed to put this (*spots trailed natural abs*) a-g-a-i-n?

(*thoughts of be-cargoed hottie runs through mind*)... Ok... So yeah, I might as well step back and get out of everyone's way. Getting kind of hot anyway... I'll just watch from back here .

From Paris with Love

Apparently that fateful evening blogmate Jerome Patalano courageously took it upon himself to approach a devastatingly gorgeous party-goer for an impromtu modeling session appears to still be paying dividends... quite dramatically so indeed.

...Considering the party-goer that evening (Marco Trager above) is in fact... well, I've already used the term devastatingly-gorgeous . Suffice to say a leather jacket on cool Parisian autumn day never looked so damn hot.

Just Beautiful...

Some of you might perhaps recall Marco from a couple months back in mid-spring when I tried and ultimately came up painfully short padding his votes on Tetu's Mr. April competition (just 200 votes shy )...

Suffice to say regardless of the outcome, Marco's still a winner in my book. (And might I add *far* hotter than the guy who beat him out, lol)... But yeah, that aside, this is about the third shoot blogmate/aspiring photographer Jerome has had with Marco thus far, and things only seem to be getting better/hotter.

If photographer Andrei Vishnyakov isn't already one of the top up-and-coming photographers over in Eurasia (read: Russia)... He's sure as hell blazing his way and leaving quite a wake in his path to the top.

With one of the latest additions to the roster of hotness of course being super-lean yet uber-cute Nikita here, sporting the Calvins and the speedos. Looking absolutely stunning (almost flawless), and doing so effortlessly...

About five seconds after this shot was taken, the entire area within a 6ft radius was covered in steam ... Great job on the photographer for being so quick on his feet .

Kidding aside though, this is just yet another one of those perfect examples of why I love being attracted to men . Just a perfect shot all around... wish I knew who the model was ...

The Boat Club Boys

University fundraising campaigns never looked so good...

Give or take whether the subjects of said fundraisers happen to be part of a top British Rowing Club... And say, err... perhaps whether said subjects of top British Rowing Club happen to be donning (let's say) 'birthday attire' for a fundraising Calendar...

...Partaking in creative rowing-related activities for said fundraising calendar...

...And from the looks of things, apparently having loads of fun... while donning birthday attire... and partaking in afore mentioned rowing-related activities for a calendar fundraiser ...

Whatever the cause may be for this display of stark rowing athleticism, I think it's safe to say I stand 100% behind more student bodies raising money this way .

Anyhow, these shots originated from a calendar last year shot by photographer Barnsbury, and distributed solely within Warwick U. campus over in the UK. As I gather, apparently there's going to be another calendar for this year featuring some of the students here as well... Save this time it'll be sold to a wider public (which of course I'm very much looking forward to).

Perhaps especially so if it'll be featuring more of Chris here (who's awesome physique for all intents and purposes might be the star of the show ). A Beautiful Day with Dave and Kyle

A wise individual once said... "You can probably tell just how well a photography session might've have gone depending on how much effort the sun put vying for attention"....... (don't quote me on that ...) Suffice to say though one can rarely go wrong photographing a beautiful model on a bright gorgeous day...

And in terms of a gorgeous day, you can't exactly ask for better than perhaps Chicago photographer Dave Ouano's spent capturing an equally gorgeous fitness model/actor by the name of Kyle Fields here...

Not only a gorgeous photoshoot, but from the looks of things, a lot of fun as well ...

Incidentally Kyle happens to have his own fan page over on Facebook where he's posted a couple modeling photos, shouts about projects he's working on, and some neat dieting advice... (Suffice to say that tip regarding avoiding meals four hours prior to bed has been working wonders on my end. Clearly the man knows his fitness ...)

But anyhow, you can check out more of Wilhelmina's gorgeous Kyle over at his port on MMayhem. Photographer Dave has his own portfolio up there as well... (Which I can attest is definitely well worth a checking out). Gorgeous work indeed ...

Assuming someone were to walk up to me off the street and inquire "Hey Eric, so what's going on with that 'understated' post... why'd you post that guy up?"... Odds are assuming that most unlikely of scenarios were to somehow take place, I'd probably be at a loss for words ...

I can't exactly directly pinpoint what it is about this particular unknown hottie (wish I had a name ...) that I find so... enticing...

Suffice to say somewhere below the surface, there's something incredibly... shall we say 'sexy' brewing... Such a subtle touch with the slightly revealing towel, and yet such an superbly stunning effect. Just Beautiful...

Commonwealth Games Highlights

So... apparently from what I gather, a a party took place over in India earlier this month...

Scratch that... Maybe party's not exactly the right term I'm looking for here. How about say, a celebration... A two week-long celebration of athletics from the looks of it...

A two week-long celebration of athletics where apparently we (read: the US) weren't invited ... For shame. (I'm assuming that whole difference in 'opinions' dating back two centuries might've played a role in our absence?). Regardless, in spite of my conspicuously missing invitation, I figured I'd crash the party anyway...

And check out a couple 'party-goers' celebrating their athletic prowess...

And what a celebration it was ... Aussie divers, Brit and Canuck gymnasts vaulting, South Africans swimming their hearts out?... If I didn't know better, I'd almost swear I stumbled on a foreshadowed get-together over in London two years from now.

A rather sexy/well-defined/graceful in motion foreshadow... But still a foreshadow nonetheless... (*And might I add Ethan Warren and Matthew Mitchum make for quite the uber-cute diving couple... wow*)

Just (symmetrically) Beautiful ...

And of course, while we're still on the topic of gorgeous hotties from the Commonwealth Games... I believe an honorable mention *has* to be made for the gymnasts as well...

Thomas Pichler, Anderson Loren and Reiss Beckford on the right... I've gotta say, if this is what we've got to look forward for the upcoming gymnastics events at the London summer games, then 2012 can't come soon enough.

But yeah, suffice to say in spite of the Commonwealth games having come to a ceremonious end last Friday, I'm already very much looking forward to the big events at (next) next summer's games ... And might I add, this Aussie Thomas Pichler guy really is quite the dreamboat... So my type ...

Craigery's Surprise Party

Err... so yeah. I'm kind of torn as to whether I should find this aspiring University of Florida improv comic Craigery (love the name) Morgan fellow here hilarious... just hot... or perhaps downright disturbing. (I'm thinking maybe an odd combination of all three? ).

4 million views in 2 weeks up on youtube isn't anything to sneeze at I suppose though... Wonder which show he's watching (I could almost swear that's Christopher Walken's voice in the beginning). Anyhow, you can check out more of 'Craigery' on his youtube page and on his own blog.

Might I add, here's hoping a few Florida photographers get in touch with him while he's still in school down there. Totally gorgeous indeed.

Symphony of Aquatic Beauties

Sunsets, surfboards, sea breezes, surf shorts, and maybe skinny-dipping with salacious shower-shots shoved in somewhat surreptitiously for... err... hm. Ok, so maybe this haphazard alliterative attempt isn't really going anywhere. But... assuming you were in the mood to blend in all those descriptive nouns in one video clip... Odds are you might just end up with my latest attempt at a music video ...

The theme here of course is water... (or aqua to be exact)... The motivation behind the video? Well, I can't really say for sure. Suffice to say I was listening to a piece of music (in this case The Verve's 90s symphonic hit), and it dawned on me that me that the harmony kind of sounded like smooth flowing water. (Again, yes I know, weird...)

Anyhow, I think the end result turned well. Now if I could just stumble upon a movie with enough scenes to lend itself to a dedicated Billy Magnussen video I'd be set for a new idea I've got floating around .

Supernatural Fantasies

Were somehow a twist of fortune to take place, and I wound up an executive producer on Supernatural... Well, let's just say it's perhaps a good thing I'm not. (Considering the show might've long gone off the air by now on account of... let's say 'controversial plot direction' )...

That being said, one can always fantasize I suppose... And if I can't have my Dean and Sammeh, then what's the next best thing?...

Did I mention these works were absolutely phenomenally done? So much so I've added them as potential backgrounds on ye old Iphone? I swear if this scenario ever took place on the current on-going season, some poor soul might wind up cleaning head fragments from my LCD screen ...

Cosmo Bachelors 2010

Considering blogmate Kenneth's already gone ahead and done most of the heavy lifting scanning the entire 2010 roster of Cosmo hunks, I figured I'd just save myself the trouble of and highlight a select few glaring favorites of mine from the bunch.

So without further ado: California, Idaho, Wisconsin... Yes to all three ...

Absolutely of course Florida, a respectful nod to Washington, DC, and a drool towards Texas, Vermont, and Kansas's stunning abs-set.... Having checked out the spread for a couple days now, I've gotta say I find it hard to believe none of these guys are actual models... But I suppose the job descriptions don't lie... (at least I hope not )...

Anyhow the crown goes to Virginia in my most humble of opinions... As much as I'd like to root for the home-team New Jersey, I think it's safe to say this Tommy Edmunds hottie blows away about 80-90% of this year's competition... easily ...

Aside from the apparent obvious (i.e. the fact that this Maxwell here is quite easily one of the hottest models bar none at the moment), it's nice to see him finally branching out somewhat ... A One Life to Live daytime cameo is as good a place for a nascent acting career isn't it?...

I mean seriously, where better to go for what amounts to consistent/daily gratuitous displays utterly perfect shirtlessness?

Suffice no time was wasted putting the main attraction front and center... literally... (He's basically playing an 'life studies' model, so the justification/rationale is there I suppose... to some degree...)

How unfortunate this show's currently on the ropes ratings-wise. But yeah... with regards to Zagorski himself, I suppose with a few acting lessons the sky might be the limit ... (I mean the guy does literally look like the comic-book version of Captain America-come-to-life so who knows...)

In spite of the uber-gorgeous/well-chiseled/unfortunately unknown hottie model with perfect abdominals-set you see before you, I would like to set the record straight that blonds are still not necessarily my 'preference' of choice ...

But of course, I can be persuaded...

Give or take a couple artfully placed wire-roll... err... [insert whatever you call it thingy]... Juxtaposed with a pair of substantially low low-rising jeans ... (Btw, what exactly do you call that thing he's holding. I've been racking my brain surfing for like 5 minutes but the name totally escapes me ...)

Poised for Perfection

Poised for perfection?... Or just perfectly poised so as to achieve a perfect look that might only come about from being so poised in a perfect position, and... ah forget... This guy's just drop dead gorgeous .

Devastatingly so... I won't even hazard a guess as to how long he might've had to hold that pose, but this (at least in my most humble opinion) is a masterful shot. And of course aside from the pose and atmosphere, the 20 year-old Virginian subject is pretty much a stunning piece of work in his own right...

Is it safe to say this kid's got potential written all over him?... Nope, no, wait a minute... I think I can just barely make out something written across his face... Is that...? Ah yes, Just Beautiful .

Personal Aussie Hottie

Not to necessarily knock my local NYSC here in NJ... Mind you it's a pretty decent facility with just about everything you'd want work-out wise... Well, almost everything ...

For I can say without a shadow of a doubt (and rest assured I've chatted them up )... But yeah, without a shadow of a doubt, I can say for sure none of my personal trainers look this good...

I really wish they did, but they don't. So rather than focus on them, I figured we might as well turn our attention to this here 22 year-old Aussie hottie personal trainer by the name of Tal...

Not only a personal trainer mind you, but apparently a pro soccer player as well?... A professional soccer-playing Aussie trainer who happens to look pretty superb both in a pair of tight boxer-briefs...

...and without... (is it safe to say both working out and playing soccer regularly does wonders for the lower back region? ). Hm... But yeah, suddenly my local NYSC does seem rather inadequate (*sigh*)...

Well... One thing's for certain. I have no clue whatsoever as to what this guy happened to be competing in, or even how well he might've done for that matter ...

But just judging from my vantage point he certainly gets first prize in my book for... err... shall we say 'asset management?'... And uh... building up a robust portfolio ? Ok, fine forget it, half his ass is hanging out of his trunks and its hot. (He's sagging boardshorts for goddsakes )...

But yeah... definitely from top to abs on down to bottom he gets first prize in my book...

I Dream of Germany

I dream a dream that starts in Germany...

And apparently ends with a surreal dosage of Just Beautiful...

Utterly, utterly gorgeous photography... Such simple yet effective focusing on just the subjects outdoors, in natural settings/lighting, almost looking like they're wandering in a dream state (or maybe a dream realm to be more precise?).

Just Beautiful... Especially the devastatingly gorgeous guy on the top right, wow...

Anyhow, these shots were taken by a German photography enthusiast named Gregor.

Apparently from what I gather, he doesn't own/make use of a studio at this point... But working with what he's got (i.e. the stunning landscapes around cities like Cologne and Berlin)... along with a generally keen eye for beauty more than makes up for it.

Notwithstanding of course the slew of stunning Deutschland models like Marco (above) and Daniel (below) he's had the good fortune of working with.

Big Picture takes a Dive

Gorgeous, gorgeous photography as always from one of my favorite sites on the net...

The dive set is kind of an annual thing the Big Picture's had going for a while now, so this year's set was released earlier this month as kind of an end of summer tribute...

Stunning, stunning shots indeed...

I don't know, there's just something about bodies and grace and motion (maybe beauty?) that I don't think I'll ever be able to get enough of. Certainly they make for quite phenomenal photographs... And of course divers are never bad to look at...

(*sigh*)... Yeah... I think at this point it's pretty much a well-established fact that I'm a sucker for cute guys with pretty eyes... And of course judging by this blog's background theme (along with apparently a title image that I haven't found the heart to replace yet)... I think it might as well be established that my favorite color is maybe/probably leaning somewhat towards the 'blue' end of the spectrum .

So yeah... Let's just say super-cute puppy-dog eyes + my favorite hue + basically he's a hottie? Oh, I so would in real life ...
