I was in the city earlier for interviews at the National Stationery Show and the International Contemporary Furniture Fair — and then needed to swing by a Nyack gallery that’s carrying the greeting cards by an artist I’m writing about (stay tuned for that story).

I don’t usually go away for Memorial Day weekend.

It’s more of a stay-home-and-grill event, though I usually manage to make it up to the Stormville Airport Antique Show & Flea Market.

But if you’re going to be a houseguest over the long weekend, you’ll probably want to consider a hostess gift.

I’d not heard of the YoHo Artists before, but they seem to be a really well-organized bunch — the site even has a video preview of the event.

From noon to 5 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday, you can buy work directly from more than two dozen artists and see how they work in their loft spaces within the former Alexander Smith Carpet Mills Building at 578 Nepperhan Ave.

Admission is free.

For full details, visit the site — or you can call 212-317-1423, Ext. 964.
