At 8th of March & Other Stories has launched.

& Other Stories is a new member from the H&M family. It's a brand where you can buy clothes, shoes, bags, beauty, accessories and lingerie.

There are four directions: Contradiction & Minimalist, Industrial & Effortless, Romantic & Dandy and Sophistication.

The stores from & Other Stories you can find in London, Berlin, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Milan, Paris, Stockholm.

Unfortunately Belgium and the Netherlands don't have a store, but we have the online store to go crazy in.

The designers found their inspirations on the street, in the art an in the hardware store. It's a brand where you can tell your own story.

At the beginning it would be first only a beauty brand, but gradually they discovered that women would have more than only beautytools to complete their look. So they came with an accessories line and as last a clothing line.

Kate Moss for Rimmel London Matte Lipstick Collection

When I was at the press days by Making Waves, I received a goodiebag full of make up products. I couldn't believe there was so much in it.

Which was really great off course.

In the goodiebag I found six lipsticks from the Kate Moss for Rimmel collection from fall 2012.

The lipsticks comes in a red case with the signature from Kate Moss on it.

At the top of the case you can find a crown.

Really loved this packaging.

When they launched the collection it immediately catched my eye.

In the goodiebag I found four of them and two with the same number.

The lipsticks are very creamy and they smell like raspberry's.

They also have a very good pigmentation, like you can see on the swatches.

101: baby pink

105: pink nude

107: rich plum red

112: dark brown

113: nude

My favourites are the baby pink, the pink nude and the rich plum red.

They cost 9,49 euros at the drug store.

MAC Divine Desire Paramour Pink Kit

When I saw the pictures from the MAC Holiday Collection I was so excited.

The bows, the colors, the palettes, the kits.

They where all great, so to choose something from this collection was really hard.

I bought the Divine Desire: Paramour Pink kit. Bought the kit online and with free shipping.

The package arrived a couple of days later. It cost 60 euro.

The Divine Desire Paramour Pink kit contains:

Divine Desire Blush: bright pink in a frost finish.
Heart to Heart Lipstick: Mid-tone yellow pink in Cremesheen.
Warm Embrace Lipglass: cool rosy pin with pearl in Frost.
Purple Dash Technakohl Liner: intense aubergine.

The cover from the kit is in satin with a plastic bow on the front.

You could also use it as as clutch and take the make-up products out of it.

As you open the clutch you could find a compartment where the brush, 129 SE, is hidden.

To see the products you open the other compartment which is removable.

As you open the compartment you find a mirror and the four products.

The Divine Desire blush is 0.09 oz. (2,8 gram) and is no full-size.
I needed more than one apply on my cheeks, because it's a very light one. Really love this color and it has a frost finish.

Yhe Heart to Heart Lipstick is a coral-pink with a soft, frosted sheen, with a Cremesheen finish.
The lipstick is not so dark on you lips, more a nude lipstick for me.

The Warm Embrace Lipglass is a soft, yellow-toned light pink with subtle shimmer.
I never tried a MAC lipglass before and was very surprised. A nice nude lipglass.

Purple dash is an eggplant purple with a subtle gold sparkle. Haven't tried it yet.

What I Bought From the Marlies Dekkers For Hunkemöller Collaboration

A month ago I told you about the collaboration from Marlies Dekkers for Hunkemöller.

I bought the bra and briefs with the golden ribbon and the masquerade masks on. It's a very comfortable set and looking very good.

Maybe you can ask this one for your Christmas from your boyfriend.

If there any boys looking on my blog: this is what your girlfriend wants under that Christmas tree.

The collection is still available online and maybe in stores (I'm not sure about that).

Press Days: O Sérieux!

O Sérieux! was the last press agency I visited in Brussels.

They have brands like Terre Bleu, 29th October, Kruidvat, Triumph, Beluga, Philips, Ice-Watch, Pasquale Bruni and more.

You could also let do your nails at a nailbar with the newest nail colors or win a washing machine from Miele. For the jewellery from Pasquale Bruni there was even a bodyguard to protect them. So they are very exclusive.

You could also eat some cupcakes, chocolates and sushi.

Press Days: Tan-Dem

The third press agency in Brussels which I vistited was Tan-Dem.
They have more luxurious brands like: Paule Ka, Comptoir des Cotonniers, Eres, Louis Vuitton and more.

For beauty they have Tom Ford, MAC and other in their wallet.

Favorites from this press agency where Paule Ka, Eres, Louis Vuitton and Salvatore Ferragamo. They also had some great food and it was like a draughtboard. Which was visually really great.

Press Days: SUMO PR

The second press agency I visited in Brussels was SUMO PR. They represent brands like Superdry, Lacoste, IKKS, Patrizia Pepe, Samsonite, Robert Clergerie and more. I had a very warm welcome by José.

They also had a hotspot for 1 designer and that was NAYES STONES.
Really loved this jewelery brand.

Also loved the space where they have their press agency, which was big. Didn't know where to look first, because they have so many great brands.

They represent brands like Little Marcel, Mr. Marcel (new), Little Marcel Beach (new), Noukie's, Archimède and more.
They also showed an animated movie with popcorn and comfy chairs.

Press Days: Media Mania

The last press agency I visited in Antwerp, was Media Mania. They have brands like Marc O'Polo, Julia June, Ben Sherman, Rockport, Replay, Reebok, Pinko and more.

They also have a new brand: Woody. They sell sleeping clothes for baby, kids and adults.
But those pajamas for kids are so fantastic, that I even want them :)

This year I really liked again Julia June.
They need asap a store in Antwerp or online, because the clothes are to die for.

Press Days: Marnix & Ally

The third press agency where I invited to was Marnix & Ally.

They are a new press agency with only accessories. So this one was really great, because I'm really in to accessories.

The manor where they have their agency is also great.

They have brands like WeWood, Kennel & Smengher, TKEES, LN|Knits, Just Julia and more.

They also gave 2 hotspots to upcoming designers like Lore Van Keer and Kim Wille.

So check out these young designers!

Press Days: Making Waves

The second agency where I was invited was Making Waves.

They represent brands like Dept, Havaianas, 10 Feet, Tara Jarmon, Holler, Chocolat Baby, Ciao! Ragazzi, Rimmel, NYC and a lot more.

When I entered the press room, I was really impressed.

The space was really nice and you could even eat something like tajine, cauliflower soup and more.

Also you could let you do your make-up and the women from Coty was very friendly to explain the new products from Rimmel and NYC.

Press Days: Fashion Club 70

The first press agency where I went to, during the Antwerp Press Days, was Fashion Club 70.
I was welcomed by Puck and Stephanie.
They have brands like Guess by Marciano, CYCLE, Mauro Grifoni, J Brand, Philipp Plein and a lot more.

My favorites were M Missoni, Philipp Plein, Guess by Marciano, Mauro Grifoni and that bow bag from Furla is definitely mine.

Review + Swatches: Chanel Harmonie du Soir Quadra Eye Shadow

Chanel has yet again released a limited edition for the holidays. It's called 'Eclats du Soir' and I was immediately hooked with it. My favorite was the palette called Harmonie du Soir.

So when it was available I immediately rushed to Douglas, even called for it.

But when I was in the store my eye also has cached the lipstick which is also fantastic. Didn't bought it because 1 thing from this collection is already enough.

The palette contains 4 eye shadows: gold, taupe, red and a rose one.

In my mind I was already creating an eye look with this palette.

The pigmentation is very good and stays long on your eye.

You can create a day look or a night look with this palette.

The day look which I had on my mind was: you put the taupe on your eyelid. Then put the rose in the middle from your eye and your brow and then the gold under your brow. As eyeliner I use the red around my lashes.

The palette cost 51,86 euros and now available for a limited time.

Event: Opening Marc by Marc Jacobs Store in Brussels

I also went to the new store from Marc by Marc Jacobs at the Modo Parcours.

I'm a huge Marc Jacobs fan, so this was definitely a must visit for me.

The store was really a surprise for me.

I also visited the store in Milan when I was on holiday there for a couple of years ago and really loved it.

The one in Brussels is very clean and not so small as the one in Milan.

But unfortunately they don't have a Marc by Marc Jacobs café in Brussels like the one in Milan.

I also loved the shirts from the Sales Advisors at the store, unfortunately not for sale.

The store includes Women Clothing & Accessories, Men Clothing, Kids Clothing and Book Marc.

High Fashion Low Countries: The Exhibition

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to the exhibition: High Fashion Low Countries

It was a part of the Modo Parcours in Brussels.

The project is initiated by the Dutch Embassy in Brussels and contains two themes: sustainable and slow fashion. The embassy has a twofold objective. First strengthening the existing partnerships between Belgium and the Netherlands. Second connecting relevant actors in the sector such as students, teachers and designers in order to share knowledge and expertise on durability and entrepreneurship.

There were six designers involved in the exhibition:

Lena Lumelsky (BE), Celine De Schepper (BE), Katrien Van Hecke (BE), Jantine Van Peski (NL), Pauline Van Dongen (NL) and Natalie De Koning (NL).

Also there were six recent graduates from prestigious Dutch and Belgian schools:

Manon Kundig (Antwerp Academy, BE), Klaas Rommelaere (Royal Academy of Fine Arts Ghent, BE), Morta Griskeviciute (Gerrit Rietveld Academy, NL), Yvonne Kwok (Amfi, NL), Aliki Van Der Kruis (Sandberg Institute, NL), Jef Montez (Artez, NL).

I must say, I was impressed by these designs. Some things I would immediately wear and also the different levels where a nice and pleasant surprise. Hope you like the pics and the clothes!

I have 3 other palettes from Too Faced and I'm very happy with them.

This set features three how-to cards for day, classic, and fashion looks as well as an array of shadows in pearlescent, matte, shimmer, and glimmer finishes. Indulgence has never looked so good.

Chanel Harmonie Du Soir Palette - 51,86 euro

The Chanel palette is a classic one and really good for Christmas and New Year.

In 2010 I bought the Les 4 ombres Tentation Cuvre and was very pleased with it.

This 4 eyeshadow palette reveals a deep, dense bronze gold, with a vintage lustre. Intensely seductive eyes are accentuated with plum red or softened by smoky taupe and pink shades.

Dior Grand Bal - 90,14 euro

I really love the the palette from Dior (okay, it's a lit bit pricey). A palette like this I didn't see before and it's definitely a must have.

I have read reviews that the gold and silver are very good and not like any other gold/silver palettes.

Dior has transformed the Carnet de Bal, the dance card in which dancers in the past would write down the name of their partner, into an essential beauty accessory. This palette, sealed with a black eyeliner like a genuine Carnet de Bal, unveils a duo of luminous pearlescent platinum and gold eyeshadows that appear to be sumptuously embroidered and two glosses.

Interior Life by Gert Voorjans

Gert Voorjans is a Belgian interior architect based in Antwerp.

He designed the shop Coccodrillo for men in Antwerp. He is the interior architect for all of shops from Dries Van Noten in the world.

He also designed a house for Mick Jagger and an apartment for Nina Garcia.

His book, Interior Life, is about his occupation as an interior architect.

He tells about his inspiration for his work and about his craftsmanship of his job.

You can also find moodboards and clippings in Interior Life.

Also his taste for contrast: expensive and cheap, old and modern, simple and extravagant.

A very original en beautiful shaped book with paper in thickness, size, colors, a Japanese binding en ten colorful bookmark ribbons.

Interior Life is now for sale and cost 100 euros.

A couple a years Carrie from Sex and The City wore a name necklace in Sex and The City.

Also Lea Michelle from 'Glee' carries one with name of her big love 'Finn' on the show and she also have a 'Rachel' name necklace.

In the music scene we have seen Katy Perry wearing a name necklace.

There is a new Deauty box in town

You may already know, but there's a new beauty box in town.

I received this box when I was on holiday in Barcelona.

I know, where already on the second Deauty box, but had a lot to do in the meanwhile.

So what's a Deauty box:

You take a subscription for 15 euros per month here (only available for Belgian people).
You receive every month a box of 4 or 5 luxe samples from exclusive beauty brands.
You can try the products at home and discover new favorite products.

In the first box from September there where products from L'oreal, Clarins, Redken, Nuxe and Essie.

There's also a card in the Deauty box with a short description of the products.

First of all we have the HydraQuench Intensive Serum from Clarins.

It's a serum for each skin type and offers an optimal and a long lasting hydration. In the Deauty box there's a sample of 15 ml.

Full size is 30 ml and costs 58,50 euros.

Then we have the very knowing Mythic Oil from L'oreal.

Last Thursday I was invited to the Salvatore Ferragamo event.
For this event some of the craftsmen from the Italian house were invited to show us how they design, in different steps, bags and shoes.
You could also personalize your bag or shoes with your initials.
We also get something to drink and eat, which was cheese, ham and wine from the Emilia Romagna area.

Who Need a Fashion Shower?

Last Tursday I went to Brussels for the collection from Anna Dello Russo For H&M. The plan was that I was going to Antwerp for the collection, but the train had a delay of 15 minutes in from Diest to Aarschot. So I missed my connection to Antwerp.

When I arrived in Brussels, at 8.30 AM, I was the first one at the store.

After me there where 20 people in the line.

The items where displayed in a closed area and only a few people a time would enter it.

Everything what I wanted was available at the Nieuwstraat and I was very happy with it (the necklace was a last minute decision).

I also showed my buys to ELLE Belgium (see video below).

Marlies Dekkers For Hunkemöller

For the first time Marlies Dekkers will release a collection with Hunkemöller. The images are looking very promising. The theme is a masked venetian ball from the eighteenth century, but when I saw these pictures my thoughts were going immediately to '50 Shades of Grey' (which of course I already read).

The prices are very reasonable and will varies from 54,99 euro for the bra's, the panties costs 22,99 euros and the suspender belt 27,99 euros.
The collection will be sold in the Dutch, Belgian and German stores from Hunkemöller and will be available from 5th November.
Limited edition of course ;)

The set I really like is the one with the golden details, very playful for a romantic night with your guy!
