Is the belief that love conquers all really true? Love is paramount in every relationship, more importantly in marital relationships. But the fact remain that love alone will not put food on your table, therefore economic factors must be taken into consideration in marital relationships. It will be foolish to get married without a stable source of income.
Love alone will not override bad attitudes. Every human being have some measure of negative attitudes, it is to your advantage that you evaluate your spouse's attitude and make genuine effort to make corrections. If you are not yet married and you notice certain attitude you cannot cope with, please don't get married to that person. The notion that you can change your partner after marriage is often a fallacy. It may even get worse after marriage.
Love without spiritual support from your creator( GOD) is certainly not enough. No matter the intensity of love, we need to hand over our affairs and our loved ones to God constantly in prayers and intercession.
Don't deceive yourself that you can do it alone, you still need God who make all things beautiful.
True love is a requisite for successful marital relationships, therefore we cannot do without it.

So many singles go into relationships and marriages with the wrong reasons as a foundation which ultimately leads to heartbreaks and marital failure. Some of these of reasons can be summarize as follows:
1, Fear of been seen as an old spinster or bachelor: Beloved there is no age limit to marriage. Some people rush into marriage quickly and rush out again. Do not allow age to intimidate you into getting into wrong relationship and marriage.
2, Economic reasons: In this hash economic times, more and more people are now going into relationships where they can benefit more financially even where there is no love and mutual respect. The problem with such relationships is that it crumples when the inducing factor(money) is no longer there. Look for someone that both of you will build your home together. Do not be a parasite on another person's hard earned money.
3, Relationships built on match-making and other people's convictions: There is nothing wrong with match-making but the two people involved must be convinced of their love and need for each other before taking relationship to a higher level. Do not allow others to choose your spouse for you because they are not the ones that will live with the person.
4, Beauty and Social background: Nothing is wrong in looking for someone you find attractive and lovable, but remember that there is also the beauty of the mind. Beauty without good character is like a beautiful vast with no flower inside. Beauty is desirable but good character is very important for successful relationships.
