I just wanted to pop in and share a few sneakies of the upcoming kit.  Not much time left already till its release - which is to say a very big day because not only will the November club pack be released on the 20th but also the New Moon movie which I am absolutely dying to see lol!!

This week the challenge was to create a page that featured one predominant colour - from our wardrobes!!  I chose to use a photo of my daughter and therefore her prefered colour with it. 

Not much to chat about atm - I've been busy with reports and marking and the November Club stuff so my head has barely seen the light of day.  I just can't wait for the holidays to start in a little over 4 weeks time - oh and the New Moon release in a fortnight too lol!!

I am very tired so this is definately a short one - the challenge this week was to create a page that included a photo that was cut into 3 sections.  Here is  mine -

Today is the official day for the release of the November Scrappit packs.  Here is the one I created -

 I really loved this kit and found it perfect for my recent photo of Sarah in her kilt!!  All the dots were created using this awesome pen I have called a Velvet marker, it marks everything just like a white opaque marker but when you add heat to it then the white puffs up to create dimension.

Well I have officially made it to 40 Xmas cards finished - yep 40 done and another 30 to finish for our Xmas list!! 

Here are some quick ones I created using a Making Memories base card set, word art pieces, Basic Grey Doilie and that good old Kaszazz swirl stamp which I love!!

I also have been working on this kind of floral ball thing - no idea what to call it - I saw something similar in the Kaisercraft magazine using punched flowars and had the idea of using some of my old prima flowers instead.  I got crystal facetted beads to use for the centres and just pinned the lot to a large styrofoam ball then sprayed the finished ball with a Glimmer Mist to glitz it all up.  Pretty Huh!!

This week the challenge was to punch out 30 or so shapes with a shape punch and to use them to frame a photo.

I chose to use a scalloped oval punch, I inked the edges of them all then attached them around the edges of the underside so that from the top the punched shapes would give the effect of a deep double scalloped border -

The whole page was created with one of the Kaszazz paper ranges - I am in love with Kaszazz products lol!!  The title was cut using my cricut, stamped with a Kaszazz swirl stamp and embossed.  Oh and I finally found a way to get more out of my Cricut Expression.  I hated the idea of having to cut to 12x12 ALL the time which is why I just didnt use it so much BUT I got one of the older 6x12 mats and cut off the tag bit at the top so it fit in lengthwise and now I can use a 12x6 mat and save all that stressing about waste!!

The best part is ... it actually works!!

Ever since going to the Zoo last school holidays for training, I have been slowly making up a digi book with all the photo's I took.  I didnt want to make just any old photo book though, I've used photo images of the animals feathers, skin and pelts to add decoration to my page rather than the standard type embellishments.

Phew!!  Just making this slide show was more work than the book!!  On a lighter note - my TV officially blew up today!!  Yep, one great big smoking gun - smoke definately not optional. 

It;s been going for quite awhile now but its definately gone now - the house still smells of electrical burns.  We have a loaner TV for now until we can decide on which of the new fangled TV's we want which is pretty cool.

I tell you though, I pretty well freaked when it happened.  Not because we now have to get a new one but because I had no idea how to redo the cable connections since our now blown TV used Euro cabling which are different to the loan one BUT I got there and the foxtel is working along with the TV!!
