20 Month Old Twins and a 4 Year Old, Oh My–Lake Zurich Family Photographer

Last week, I met this beautiful family at a great location in Lake Zurich! The light was soft and dreamy and we experienced many adventures together. The twins were a little upset at times and didn’t want to stay together but we did get some great smiles along the way. Big brother, A, was so sweet with his love for the ladybug in my camera and came with his own energy. We got to see a turtle swimming in the lake, took a short walk, smelled some flowers and got to play with bubbles. It was a challenging session due to the ages of the children but I believe we did get some priceless images.

I hope the K Family loves them as much as I do!

Thanks for all of the fun, K Family! I hope to work with you again in the future and I am confident it will easier when the twins are a little older!

Stroll in the Park–Arlington Heights Family Photographer

After months of rescheduling due to crazy work schedules, I finally got a chance to meet the L Family! They had won a raffle with a donated session from Just Peachy Photography last year!

I am so glad that I finally got to meet them because they were just so lively and fun and Miss H kept me on my toes! She was so energetic and spirited and I loved every second working with her. S and J, her parents, showed her so much love and adoration during the session and I just loved seeing them as a family unit. We found a great location that had some beautiful light and I really love their images! I hope they do as well.

Smash a Cake with Twins–Chicago NW Suburban Baby Photographer

It is hard to believe how fast that first year goes with babies but with twins, it really flies! I can vouch for that statement for sure! These two twins were so sweet and I had such a good time with them! I am hoping that Mom and Dad get some rest with a 4 year old and now one year old twins! I had a great time with their family at the park and even though it got a little messy, it seemed everyone was a great sport about it. I loved seeing how twins could be SO different here. While our girl daintily grabbed the cake and tasted it, the boy dug in with full force and flung the cake all over. He smashed his own cake and then went after his sisters! It was fun to watch! Cake smash sessions are so much fun and it is a great memory to have both from being there and also from the images created as keepsakes!

What a cute place it is and very easy to find since it is right on Rand Road. I got to meet their amazing staff and got a short tour of their very clean, kid-friendly facilities.

All About Kids Dentistry, L.L.C. is a practice dedicated to Pediatric Dentistry and recommends seeing children when they start getting their first set of teeth around age 1. They do full comprehensive oral exams that focus on looking at all of the teeth and oral structure. They also educate parents on helping their children have good oral hygiene habits and are there if a child needs to restore their teeth if the teeth are not optimally healthy.

This business benefits families in the Chicago area by helping children achieve optimal oral health so they will have healthy smiles for a lifetime. They also guide them at their own pace so that they will develop optimal oral hygiene habits on their own. The doctors and staff at All About Kids Dentistry spends a lot of time doing oral health presentations at schools in the Northwest Suburban Community as well. They have the opportunity to meet so many children and motivate them to be excited about keeping their mouths healthy. Patients at All About Kids Dentistry, range from birth to college age and they also see older special needs patients.

The office and patient areas are very clean and colorful and everything is very kid friendly from the cheerful artwork to the smiley faces on the x-ray covers. There are bright bubbles on the floor and a variety of children’s toothbrushes on display. All of their staff is friendly and they say they get compliments on them all of the time!

I really enjoyed my visit to All About Kids Dentistry, L.L.C. in Arlington Heights and was very comfortable there with their wonderful staff. Angry Birds Birthday Party–Palatine, IL Birthday Party Photographer

As hard as it is to believe my twins turned 6 years old this month! I wish someone could tell me where the time went! They are big fans of Angry Birds and lately everything that enters our house has an Angry Bird on it so naturally they requested an Angry Birds birthday party. What better time than Memorial Day weekend when out of town guests have the whole weekend to travel and they have a long weekend to recuperate after before school starts up.

I had fun picking out some fun Angry Birds themed activities on Pinterest and wanted to share some of the fun we had!

Sweet, Sleepy Guy–Chicago and Suburbs Newborn Photographer

Little M decided to come into the world three weeks early but we were ready for him! Luckily his Mom and I were all set with a whole bunch of ideas and she even text me on the way to the hospital. I loved hearing about M’s birth and how relaxed Mom and Dad were. He is a lucky boy to have such great parents! I also enjoyed the sweet lullabies that Mom and Dad picked out for his newborn session and it really did help him sleep. I believe these were some of the ones that are available from the same company. It was a great session and M slept almost the entire time so we were able to get quite a few poses together for him. Mom and Dad were mainly excited to do a baseball themed image including both the Cubs and Sox since they were split fans. It will be fun to see who Baby M roots for later. We did come across one glitch in our session when M decided to get the hiccups for almost a half hour after his feeding, but then he went right back asleep to finish up his family images and a few extras. I hope the R Family loves these as much as I do! Loved cuddling with their sweet, sleepy guy last week!
