First Presidency Christmas Devotional

Jane's mom treated us with tickets to the First Presidency Christmas Devotional!!

It was my first time seeing the lights on Temple Square and I wanted to jump for joy!!

The devotional was amazing and the spirit was so strong.

We were lucky enough to sit about twenty-or-so rows from the front...which means we saw actual facial features of President Monson, Eyring and Uchtdorf.

They waved to Jane, Bri and me! ;)

It's bad enough when only one of my roommates is gone.

It is torture.

I feel that these rules are useful everyday!

Like first on the list, cardio. We should be working out 3-5 times a week. Good.

Beware of bathrooms, that is for sure...especially the ones at gas stations and malls.
Wear seat belts! Yes, we should follow the laws of the land!
Avoid strip clubs. I don't trust what goes on in those anyway, so I will stay as far back as I can!
Know your way out, check all the exits as you are entering. Like Jason Bourne.
Double knot your shoes, because they can come untied while running, and that would just be painful to watch.
Use the buddy system! It is harder to attack two people, or you could trip your buddy and run away faster. (jk)
Check the back seat! Ladies, we should be doing this anyway! Especially at night!!
Enjoy the little things. Reading our scriptures, saying our prayers, spending time with family and service to others. :)
