We know that WordPress is most famous blog in the world, and the default link for WordPress is using /archives and /category.

But this make problems to those sites that are not using WordPress, like my site is using Phpwind.

Most of the search engine in the world will search for
example.com/archives/…
example.com/category/…

sometimes search for
example.com/index.php/archives/…
example.com/index.php/category/…

Many big site will use cache to store the sites that requested by user, and search engine too. So, something wrote appear to my Phpwind site.

Here is the temporarily solutions for Phpwind, from version 7.3.2 to version 8. If you enable cache.

Find files containing text in Linux

You could put it as background if it is longer time search

grep -lir "text you want to find" * > searchresult.txt &

I want to search ‘archives/simple’ in my ‘data’ directory
cd ./data/ grep -lir "archives/simple" * > searchresult.txt &

After done, then you can type
cat searchresult.txt
then you will know which files contain the text.
If you want to know which line that contain the text
You could type
cat data/bbscache/index.html | grep "archives/simple"

[Solved]Locked table in MySQL

InnoDB Supports transactions, row-level locking, and foreign keys
MyISAM Default engine as of MySQL 3.23 with great performance

I’m running phpwind with huge requests. I meet the problem is every time my database will be freeze and lockup.
I’ve been traced for few days, I found that the tables
pw_datastore and pw_threads always in status ‘Locked’

and the query keep que until the connections full, then have to wait the Locked to be unlocked then can go on. But it always won’t, maybe wait for an hour. I found the solution is converting your current MyISAM to InnoDB, so your database won’t be locked up anymore.

I’ve solved my current ‘Locked’ problem, if any more problem, I will post it up here.

MySQLTuner result and Tuning Primer result

My server eat up of high CPU resource. I’ve figure out by using

[root@server ~]# /usr/bin/watch -n 5 ‘mysqladmin proc stat’

and found out that these results.

I’m thinking the problem is cause by Copying to tmp table. After running this SQL, all other query after it has been Locked and wait the first query finish. If more and more query keep requesting, then it will take a lot of memory and resources.

I’m going to check how to optimize using MySQLTuner and Tuning Primer.

CAPTCHA token file is missing

After you install the SI Contact Form WP plugin, you may face this error while sending the form.

There is a problem with the directory /captcha-secureimage/captcha-temp/. The directory is not found, a permissions problem may have prevented this directory from being created. Fixing the actual problem is recommended, but you can uncheck this setting on the contact form options page: "Use CAPTCHA without PHP session" and the captcha will work this way just fine (as long as PHP sessions are working).

So, here is the solution for it.
goto your domain path by ssh or ftp
~/public_html/wp-content/plugins/si-contact-form/captcha-secureimage/
make the directory captcha-temp/
and make the permission to 777 for the directory captcha-temp/

Try to click the link
inside the Plugins –> SI Contact Form Option –> Test if your PHP installation will support the CAPTCHA

All should me OK in the test page.
Then try to send to your email yourself from the form, make sure it is working.
