Today Robin has designed this wonderfully unique Botanical Medallions Wall Hanging.

I have really enjoyed being the Guest Designer for this week. I want to thank Kellie for making everything easy and effortless. I just love JustRite Papercraft stamps, and how you can use them for all kinds of porjects and just not for cards.

My final project is a pretty wall hanging I created for my daughter’s new bedroom. This wall hanging looks complicated, but was very easy to do.

I stamped the rose image from Botanical Medallions & Banner onto white cardstock twice, colored with Copic markers and cut them out. I stamped and embossed with white embossing powder the Ticking Stripe Background and used the Spellbinder’s Classic Oval to cut them out and I did this twice. I stamped and embossed the frame from the Botanical Medallions & Banner twice and cut them both out. Next, I used Nested Oval Medallions Labels to cut out 9 pieces for the front frame, center and back.

I stamped and embossed the floral frame from Vintage Rose Medallions, and used black embossing powder for my sentiment. To put this wall hanging together, I am using Rose silk ribbon from May Arts Silk Ribbons. I glued my Ticking Stripe Background oval to one of my medallion pieces, then used pop dots to lift up the white embossed frame on top of the oval piece. Once in place, I adhered the rose image to the center of frame and on the Ticking Stripe Background piece. I did this process twice for the top and bottom of the wall hanging. The middle piece, I used pop dots to lift my Vintage Rose Medallion onto the smaller medallion layered piece. For my hanger, I used a rhinestone ribbon buckle and threaded my silk ribbon through to make a loop and glued the ribbon pieces together. Next, I laid the ribbon down and centered my finished pieces down the middle of the ribbon and glued in place. Finally I added pearls and a May Arts Silk Ribbon bow.

Today Robin Parker has created a fabulous JustRite Botanical Butterflies Place Setting.

What I love about JustRite Papercraft stamps is that you can use old and new releases together to make exciting craft projects. What I have created for you today is a darling table setting, using Botanical Butterflies as the main focus.

For my place card, I used Botanical Butterflies, Classic Art Deco Lace Edges One and a sentiment from Vintage Rose Medallions. For my napkin ring, I used Botanical Butterflies, Ticking Stripe Background, Classic Art Deco Lace Edges One and Spellbinder’s Fleur De Lis Accents Dies. For my third piece of my ensemble, I created a gift box using Botanical Butterflies, Ticking Stripe Background, Vintage Wallpaper Background, Classic Art Deco Lace Edges One, Nested Medallions Labels and Spellbinder’s Fleur De Lis Accents Dies. As you can see, you can make a lovely gift ensemble using JustRite Papercraft stamps for everyday and holiday occasions.

This week I am thrilled to announce that our guest designer for this week is Robin Parker. Robin is a frequent JustRite Friday Challenge participant and winner. You can see Robin's JustRite Pinterest Gallery here.

Today Robin is sharing a grogeous easel card that is designed entirely with JustRite Stamps.(there is no designer paper in this project).

Here's Robin:

I am so excited to be a Guest Designer for JustRite Papercraft. I love creating with all the new stamps as they are so versatile and fun. Today I created a pretty Floral Easel Card using Botanical Medallions & Banners. Here is the tutorial on how to make the Easel Card.

I stamped my Ticking Stripe Background with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder on blue cardstock. I did this twice, for the top and bottom of the easel card. Next, I stamped a smaller panel with Vintage Wallpaper Background with Versamark with blue embossing powder on white cardstock and adhered it to black cardstock. Then I stamped and embossed the frame from the Botanical set onto blue cardstock and mounted it to black cardstock and cut it out with the Nested Oval Medallion Labels. I did this twice for the top and bottom of the easel card. I stamped and embossed the daisy image and colored with Copic markers before cutting it out. I adhered the daisy image to my Nested Medallion frame, then mounted it to my Vintage Wallpaper panel. That piece was glued to one of the Ticking Stripe Background pieces then adhered to yellow cardstock.

For the bottom of the Easel Card, I stamped my sentiment and embossed on my second frame piece, then I adhered it to black cardstock. Next, I stamped and embossed two lacy strips from Classic Art Deco Lace Edges One on blue cardstock with white embossing powder. I then adhered the lacy strips to black cardstock and used Spellbinder’s Edgeabilities Classic Edges One to cut them out. I love how Spellbinders Dies and JustRite Papercraft Lace Edges coordinate so well together. I added yellow satin ribbon to the middle of my lace piece, then glued it to my second Ticking Stripe Background piece. I added foam dots on the back of my sentiment piece and adhered to the middle of my lace strip. I attached the finished bottom panel to the yellow cardstock and constructed my easel card. I finished off with a pretty May Arts Ribbon bow and yellow pearls.

JustRite Friday Challenge #073 - "Anything But Square"

For JustRite Friday Challenge #073, we want to see you create a shaped card in any shape as long as it's NOT square! Spellbinders are great for this challenge and well as many other die cut shapes.

I chose to REALLY step outside the box on this one and show you that there are many styles you can use for this project! Sometimes I just get something stuck in my head and can't shake it?? So, I went looking for a way to create a hot dog shaped card:

I thought this would be a fun invitation for a BBQ over the holiday weekend and Summer Words was the perfect stamp set! I wanted it to appear that this hot dog got the blue ribbon so I pulled out last year's You Are The Best cling set to make my ribbon award. I LOVE the way you can mix and match all these sets to get the perfect combo for any occasion! You can get full details about how I created my shaped card on my blog here.

Day Four with Guest Designer Melissa Bove & JRC #072 Winners

For my 4^th and final card, I wanted to make something using several different background stamps. So I stamped Elegant Fronds Background, Shabby Music Background and Fleuriste Newsprint Background onto some cream cardstock in 2 different shades of brown and blue inks. I then trimmed them all down to size to fit my card base and distressed the edges.

I then stamped the beautiful flower image, from Botanical Butterflies, onto a punched circle, colored it in with some Copics and then added 2 coats of Ranger Crackle Accents over the image to give it a cracked, antique look. I then added the stamped butterfly.

I want to thank Kellie again for asking me to be a part of the JustRite team for the past 4 days! I was thrilled and honored and had a lot of fun! I {heart} JustRite!

Day 3 with Guest Designer Melissa Bove

Welcome to Day 3 with Melissa Bove. Melissa is just rocking our new line of background stamps!!

Here is Melissa:

As soon as I saw the Grandma’s Attic Background Stamp, I just knew I had to have it! It makes the perfect background setting, for any type of card, for that special person in your life! Not to mention, I love the dress form and anything that involves sewing. I stamped the image onto some cream colored cardstock twice. Once in black ink and the second time, I actually used several different color ink pads for the individual ribbon spool images, buttons and dress form. I then cut them out and paper pieced them onto the first image. I then distressed the edges with a paper distresser and ink.

The beautiful Rose Frame is from the Vintage Rose Medallions Clear Set. I stamped it in black ink and then colored it in with some Copic Markers. It was cut out using the Nested Oval Medallion Labels Dies.

For today’s card, I combined the Fleuriste Newsprint Background Stamp with the Botanical Butterflies Clear Set. Two of my favorite things, Vintage and Butterflies. I stamped the Fleuriste Newsprint Stamp onto a piece of cream cardstock and then distressed the edges with a paper distresser tool and some ink. I then colored in the image with some Copic Markers and then added some pearls and seam binding over the stamped ribbon image.

For the butterflies, I colored them in with Copics and pastel chalks and then added a coating of glitter over them. I then adhered them to the card, only gluing the centers and then “flaring” out the wings to make them appear as if they just landed on the card.
