hehe

Alfred Cheng。

First in 2015

2015-04-26T07:45:00.001-07:00

As you may have noticed already, I've changed my blog appearance to a simpler background with lighter tone cos I'm so bored sticking to the same old dull background for years and maybe that's why I've been terribly slack in updating my blog... dark layout appears to be dull looking, lack of positive vibes boring I guess ...wth lol

Anyway, it's another usual Sunday, slacking at home but at least I got up quite early today (I mean to my standard *guilty*) trying to grab my breakkie at McD before the breakfast menu is off BUT by then I got there, no moreeee !!! I was so craving for scramble egg larrrrrrrrrr.... Nvm... Still went ahead and bought 1 apple pie, quickly grabbed few sachets of salt and sugar before fleeing lol... Why would I need those with apple pie? They got nothing to do with the apple pie but when you're staying alone, and you don cook often, it may not be practical for you to buy one big bag of those condiments for each time you need just a small amount of it~ right? somemore McD ones are packed individually so you won't have to worry bout them getting spoilt so soon and you can leave it like for months? no problem! sounded so cheapskate lol...

So just a small update on my Taipei trip in March.. I'm not much of a talking nor writing person so I won't be doing much of writings here so, just let the photos do most of the talking!

Day 1- Arrival/Ay-Chung Mee Sua/Taipei 101/Ding Wang Mala Guo

Had breakkie at Changi Airport after checking-in (pardon for the messy table =.=)

On the plane, for like 5 hours?? sleep wake up and repeat till we reach lol! It was the day after Mr. Lee Kuan Yew's wake first opened to public so the uncle sitting beside Yarling told him that he was supposed to fly yesterday but he postponed his flight just to pay tribute to Mr. Lee things like that...I don always get strangers to casual talk with me maybe I got a very arrogant looking face. Somehow people always like to talk to Yarling like almost every time when he's alone (they started making conversation only when I went to the loo) and especially when he's in Singapore... :/

So I asked him to take an #ootd pic of me while I was eyeing the luggage.....

Luggage spotted!!

So his uncle fetched us and we had a short city tour then here's our 1st meal in Taiwan! Ay-Chung Mee Sua at Xi Men Ding branch... Starving coz we both hadn't had anything on the plane since the early McD breakkie...btw, it was drizzling that time...

Night view of Taipei 101

No joke! The staff body damn flexi man~ I bet most of the people can't even bow in a good 90 degree, can u? can u? well, can or not doesn't matter anyway la hehe

So for most of the restaurants in TW, so long as it's not the eat-all-you-can restaurants, you get to tabao all the soup based and whatever dishes that you couldn't finish up... They're very generous in giving those ingredients that come with the soup based like toufu, pig blood jelly etc... even if you're tabao-ing...

Day 2-Watsons/Cosmed/

We actually wanted to go 阜杭豆浆 but we knew it's gonna be at least an hour Q there so we didn't wanna waste our time Q-ing since it's just a short trip this time for us so we headed to the not-so-bad 永和豆浆nearby our hotel, just a 5-minute walk.

汤包 or 小笼包 whatever u name it

My 烤饼with ham and egg

Been wondering how salty soya milk would taste like...It taste like tofu in sukiyaki soup to me lol which is quite good but I couldn't take much...Soy is filling...

So the day 2 itinerary in Xi Men Ding was Watsons, Cosmed and Watsons and Cosmed lol

Uncle said 50岚 is the most popular bubble tea chain in TW... So must try!!! Chatime is nothing there

Muachi ala Japanese something like that.. We ordered seaweed flavour... I like it!! Sweet ma...hehe

Cheesy mashed potato... Thank you Yar...hehe

Big intestine wrap small intestine...Lousy direct translation... Big intestine is made of glutinous rice (not really a pig's intestine) and small intestine means Taiwanese sausage!

So snack before heading to the next shopping place, 五分埔! The bottom 2 are 豪大大 sotong balls and tempura~

*Shopping shopping at 五分埔*

Dinner or supper whatever, at one of the cafes in 东区~ Seriously in love with Taiwan..24-hour restaurants, cafes EVERYWHERE!!!! and uncle said if you're lucky, you may bump into celebrities in 东区 yo.... Obviously we're not lucky enough, yet..

He was completely exhausted~ Have some rest my Yarling :*

Day 3- 淡水

Having my 蛋饼 in one random breakfast shop nearby our hotel again... I personally think this is way better than the 士林小吃 chain de 蛋饼. Our hotel quite conveniently located isn't it? lol

His burger and black coffee

One and only cherry blossom left

I wonder how near he got to the blossom to get this sticking on his moustache

btw I didn't edit any of these pics, all taken by my ip6 so even the blurry romantic effect is not filtered oh

Sooooo refreshing!!!

Tasteless sundae cone...We threw almost half of it~ we bought the large one somemore aiksss....

Long lost brother found

He said nice but me noooonooooo.....

Uncle Auntie like mala so much~ Mala ramen again...... I took the mild spicy, or non spicy at all one I would say, hehe... This is his Mala beef udon~ I took Mala pork vermicelli....

Cosmetic coffee

Uncle got sweet tooth like me tooo~ Brick-like toast pyramid

Showing off 美腿 lol

Buying some 土产...not some actually, bought too much aiksss

At one sleeping volcano on our way up to 阳明山

Warming sweet potato soup

Forgot what is this called..Some bread with condensed milk as dipping

One of the dishes for dinner~ Stinky mala toufu~ just tried a quarter cube....

It was so jam on our down from 阳明山 so we stopped by one hot spring resort de restaurant at mid hill

Just drive by, snap photo, and post here saying, I've been here!! lol

Tight schedule so we skipped this, I mean all night markets T.T

So this pretty much sum up what we (mainly me) bought in TW 5D4N trip

We didn't get to go so many places and never get to tried much of TW delicacies too

So to satisfied my craving on the last day before heading to airport, 卤肉饭 at one random kopitiam

errrrrr, his 车仔面... My poor yarling~ Apparently this is not gonna be enough for him for the whole day. He didn't want to eat on the plane too claiming the meal on plane is too expensive...well, can diet good also la

Checking in at 桃园 air port

Taiwan is really a good place~ Till next time!

BuiBui

Finally!! I made it!! Last review post for December 2013!!!

2014-03-02T08:22:00.002-08:00

Dec 2013

Yes~ I made it~!!~ the last post for Dec 2013~ After 2 mths passed 2014~ Hehe

Yarling came to Sg~ for one last time in 2013~ Apparently, he's now getting lesser and lesser popping up in Sg as compared to in the past~ SGD rate goes up, as a result, everything has becoming more expensive~ esp accommodation~ haih~

We met after work and then went to the Korean restaurant somewhere near my office area with Laifu. After that, chilled out at a bar in Clarke Quay, then headed back to Studio M hotel~ He used to stick with Value Hotel which is more to his budget and since we won't be spending most our time staying in hotel considering that it's only a place to sleep, value hotel is just good enough to serve the purpose~

The reason why we choose this hotel this time was tat we had never tried loft room concept hotel b4 so we thought it might be a good chance to try out thou it's not really cheap, to us~

Somehow their bed is damn comfy and since he allocated his budget more on the hotel, we decided to stay in the room as much as we can~ :)

Yarling blow-drying my hair~ :)

Seriously I'm tired with the long hours needed to completely dry my long hair b4 I manage to get to sleep~ So he took over the job this time~ hehe~

If only we could have this kind of breakkie avday~ I know it's not hard to prepare but I'd rather take that few more minutes rolling in the bed before getting up to to work~

Going out for late lunch~

Went to Tim Ho Wan for the 1st time and so this is the Michelin 1 star BBQ pork bun~ It's really nice!!! Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside~

The rest are just okay so never bother to post~

So we walked along orchard road after that and bought some potato chips chips back to hotel since we decided to spend our time in the room~ We paid for it so must stay in there~ haha

He bought this at the airport and we spent our nite eating chips, drinking wine and watching The Hunger Games Part 1 on TV~ So tat's how we celebrated our advanced Xmas together~

Was cold so he wrapped me like a burritos~

We bet if this was a sofa bed~ so he won~

Early Xmas celebration at Stephy's house

1st turkey in my life~ we ordered the Xmas menu from NTUC~ As u can see there are hams, sausage and pork knuckle~

The log cake

Photo sessions, we played games, exchanging gifts~ and JL bought a really epic gift~ no pic to show pardon me~

This was on the actual Xmas eve~ looking for less crowded places to sit down and count down~ we're old~ cant join too much crowd anymore~

At Muchachos, a mexican restaurant

Merry Xmas 2013!!!!!!!!!!!!

And it's time for me to go back before 2013 is over~

This was taken during my trip back to pg~

Celebrated New Year 2014 at 10 dollars club with sis and the bunch~

So, it's 2014~ another year had passed, a new year has come~

Another year to work harder so I won't have to be stranded alone here~ how sad~

I pray for 2014 to be an awesome year to me and looking forward to a new breakthrough~

First post of 2014~ Am I too late to do a review for 2013??? :/

2014-01-01T07:57:00.002-08:00

It's 01-01-2014 today and I'm not going anywhere since I didn't get to rest well for the last weekend and I just got home from new year celebration at 3 a.m. !!! I said I'm gonna sleep till my biological clock wake me up naturally~

Since I'm not a regular blogger and I don't have the interest of writing diary, taking photos is the only way for me to mark down memorable moments or even record ordinary daily doings like wat I had for my breakkie, lunch, dinner or ootd and stuff like tat~ I don't know why but I just like browsing thru photo albums, be it softcopies or hardcopies, to refresh my memory or maybe I'm just nostalgia?~

Here you go the shots taken in 2013~ Most of the pics were taken from my Ip 4s (I think it's 99% of them) They made up part of the storyline in my life, so they meant a lot to me~ =)

*I was having a hard time selecting the photos coz I had a long list of pics to post. So if I did, it could take several blog posts to finish the review~ so, I've tried my best to cut down the pics~

Jan 2013

Joined this event with Hooi Yee only to know tat it's Amway's Artistry make up event~ It was fun thou

Those days memories...

2013-08-30T23:53:00.008-07:00

Just watched the video of JT's performance during the MTV VMA~ Indeed, it brought back alot of those days memories~ I remember I used to be so crazy about N'sync and even like pasting their posters in my room~ and out of the 5 members, I like JT the most~ I can still remember that my sis used to tease me bout his hair saying something like "yiiii, u see he got maggie mee hair...." trying to make me hate him I guess but somehow, I think tat's wat making him look even cuter and adorable~ even baby with curly hair looks cuter isn't it? and yea, he's getting hotter and hotter as he grows up~ and still die seeing him...hehe

Short Break at Homie

2013-04-24T09:38:00.002-07:00

Ann Yeung!!! I noticed that my last post was in Dec 12~ After 4 5 mths, here's some updates!! Geeee.....

I've resigned when I return to office after the CNY holidays~ Serving 1 mth notice and hence, 19/3's my last day in my 1st Company in Sg~ No need to tell why I choose to resign, But i'm gonna miss all my colleagues very much!!

One last pic of my desk~ Very very small desk~ =.="

Yes!!! Going home the next day!!!! Superb excited!!! Tat's gonna be my another "short" break after the CNY holidays~ A 10 days short break in my homeland~!!!

Touched down at about 3pm and as usual, Yarling's the one who'll pick me up and he brought me to Azuma for lunch~ We wanted to go for Korean food at first but since I need to do some shopping we might as well eat at QB and shop there lou!!! When we walked in, the restaurant was empty~ So I teased Gummy, how sweet of him that he even "bao" the whole restaurant for me~ Not really empty la~ Got one couple there eating oso lo~ Lose ady~

Here it is!!! My pinkish luggage!!! I don really like very feminine stuff to be honest. What I mean is the color la~ Pink color~ Somehow, most people's first impression on me is that, I'm kinda soft and nui bo~ Tired of all that~ I wanna get rid of that impression~ Do I really look so? I know rite, I look arrogant to some other people who don know me also~ but, why do I still opt for this color btw? Coz I think at least this not-so-common color gonna make me much more easier to identify my luggage at the airport rite? FYI, both my sis have the same luggage also but they got the black ones so I don wanna get the same color with them~ =P

Then, waiting for my buddies at Heaven Gate for dinner~ waited so long ler!!! XD

Never forget to take pic while waiting~ Hehe

Quite nice ambiance you see~ Recommended by Kenny one~

The next day was my 1st nothing-to-do-at-home day~ I played with DD~ He's too hyper active ady, most of the time la~ Sometimes, he can be very emo~ Cannot tahan him~ Look at his innocent face, how can you not play with him????

And this fella is playing violent one you know~ Look at all these marks~ Bearing in mind that he's still a baby just passed one year you know~ It was painful!!!! Not me being exaggerated but, for those that who know me really really well, you will know how I react even with just one touch on my skin~ =P

And then skip the boring day story at home to the following day~ Woke up at 6+ in the a.m.~ Wanted to have Dim Sum but they just started to prepare the food so we guess there wont be much choices if we were to eat-in~ Somemore it was a Friday~ So, the only place that we could think of for breakkie was.....McDonald's~ =.=" Y swt face? Coz I don really eat McD la~ Somemore I tot We could have better breakkie since we woke up early in the great morning~ Now I know not all early birds are able to get any worms la~

Egg McMuffin plus Hot Milo~

and I havent told you why did I wake up so early rite? Coz.....WE ARE GOING TO THE LIPE ISLAND!!!! WOOHOOO~ Who are the we? Just the Gummy and myself~ and why just the 2 of us? Coz all my fellow brothers and sisters don wanna join with meeeee~ So shiat one nvr give face~ =P So we don care and just go ourselves!! Me is very persistent one!! haha

Gummy drove there and stopped at somewhere near the border which I don know exactly where was it~ Doing the car insurance thingy bla bla blaaa....which I dint seem to care~ So long as you bring me go gai gai~ hehe..Bought a SIM pack and see below pic for the activation instruction~ =)

WTH??!! Was trying to figure out how to activate the phone calls and data plan but, phailed~ *Go bang the wall plss* It's all written in thai and even the Ms. operator speaks Thai~ which we don understand la~ BTW, why the hell are we so dying for data? No no no~ Not that I wanted it to update my FB la, instagram la BUT!!! It's bcuz we cant use GPS in Thailand and we had to use our google map to lead us to the Pak Bara Pier~ Where we will have to take a 2 hrs boat (approximately) to the pretty little Lipe Islandddd~ No GPS, no google map, we go based on our feeeeling~ haha =P No la, we still look at the map but without the voice-guided navigation~

Here in the boat~ Big boat~ but so stuffy~ Look at his arm~ No worries~ Just got burnt by the Sun in Lipe~ This fella went Lipe just the week before He went with me~ Crazy.... 2 weekend in a row~

Got so hungry ady~ Here's the very first meal in the Island~ Is damn naiseeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!! Now I'm hungry~ =(

Then checked in our hotel at Anda Resort, here's the pic from his cam~ Lovely~

Here's the bird nest kinda couch outside our room~

It's me!!!

Then we took a small nap and went for our dinner at the walking street~ Not much pics as most of them are in the cam which I don have in possession right now~ Limited edition photo only~ =P

Next Day, the snorkeling day~ We rented a sampan~ It's actually a long-tailed boat this is how they call it~ and begin our underwater world discovery tour~

We on the Sampan~ I still think the name sampan suits it best la~ Nah, pls don laugh at me wearing a life jacket har~ I scare die and I don swim~ Even the life jacket itself doesnt make me feel comfortable enough for snorkeling ~ Gummy almost gone drowning coz I kept pushing him down once I got in the water~ Sorry har, I panic~ I just feel more comfortable grabbing something ~ hehe

The turquoise blue sea is LOVE

Our long tail boat and the big stone island~

Zoom in for you~ The big stone~ Pretty rite??!!!

We oso stopped at black stone island (aka Ko Hin Ngam means Pulau Cantik)~ A very cool island filled with black stone only~ I don have the pics with me so I googled Ko Hin Ngam and appended below the pic for your reading pleasure.

The myth is that you stack the stones, at minimum of 7-8 stones then make a wish and your dream will come true~

That's all for our tiring day 2 at Lipe Island~ We had our dinner at walking street~ and ended our day~

Day 3 was simply a day for us to relax~ Strange thing was that we didn't go for any massage during our 4D3N trip there~ Bcoz massage doesnt seem to be a trend here or what? We passed by so many massage parlors but none of them seemed to fill with people~ and I would say most are even empty~ I don know but the feeling was just not right~ Like something wrong somewhere ~ So we didnt even dare to try~

So no particular plan, just enjoy the relaxing sea breeze after our breakkie at the hotel....and sunbathing~ =.=" Cheat you one! I wont tan myself okay? I cannot bear the hot sun~ Lotsa ang mo just laid on the bed topless and get themselves tanned like, from early morning till evening??!! You're so not gonna believe this~ Now you know how much they love the sun, unbeatable level~

So basically I just laid on the bed and watch topless ang mo at the beach la~

Here you go! Ang Mo Zai with spandex only~ I censored the topless girl doing sunbathing part and keep it for myself only~ U wanna see, u go urself okay? =P

What we Asian do was, pretend to sunbath and selca~ haha~ Somemore purposely look for the bed that hidden under tree~ so we wont get burnt~ hahaha

The weather was really hot that I got super thirsty and would die for chilling cold drinks~ then we recalled that we got chips and iced mineral water in our room (it was already our 2nd last day there so we've used up most of our budget~ gonna save money, so... just mineral water, =D) so now, we're like doing fake sunbathing, selca and even picnic?? haha

and then I found tis red little flower and became my selca props~ matching his tee~

Then went out for our lunch~ most of the restaurants there selling western coz of ang mo based island~ I wanted to order lemon soda but the waitress took the wrong order and gave me soda water~ It taste like water with gas and it's weird??!!! So I drank it with Sprite, the real lemon soda~ hehe~ I was hoping for a very chilled drinks but they told me no more ice, wth???? I can die in this hot weather~!!!

See! no cheat you one~ no water drops outside the can at all~!

My lunch my sandwich!

Then go buy and post out the postcards!! Have you guys received it?? hehe~ Yarling said I look like Thai Moi here in this pic, what say you??

For dinner, we had this Thai pancake as our starter??? XD then Mexican food for dinner~ No pics for Mexican food oso~ sowieee

Last day, just before I got in the golf car bringing us to the pattaya beach, one last shot on the island~ I wanted to snap the sea and me coz I dint get to snap any earlier~ Gummy kept promising me that he'll help me to take pic but NEVER!!! I blame u now! =P

Going home with =( face~

On the boat~ Now this speed boat is different from the one we took from main land to Lipe, the big one remember? This speed boat is the open-air one and I think it's much more comfortable and faster~

Before driving back, we dropped by at Tesco Lotus to grab some cheap goodies and had our lunch there~ I bought like 6 shampoos and 6 conditioners and some other stuff like loads of pads, instant noodles etc coz its far more cheaper here~!

and so when I got home, DD has got a new style~ getting even older~ =.="

After my happy holiday, it's time to do something serious~

I iz nervous~

How nice that I got a super VIP room~ Well, not really~ It was a ward for 6 somehow no other patients joining me that day so I occupied the entire room la!!! hehe~ It was just a small surgery~ You know... liposuction =P haha~ The theory is the same, remove fat only ma~

I was so worried (serious, this was my very 1st operation, no experience XD) when I was told that I'm gonna do a full anesthesia, I was so so worried that I kept asking my mom how does it feel like?? What if I cant be conscious anymore?? Or I got coma?? Paralyzed?? Then I was advised by the anesthetist that it is totally not risky (even though I dont trust you but I have to make myself believe it to comfort myself) and my job is to fall asleep and wake up! I wont be having any feeling of pain in between~ That painful feeling comes only after I woke up~ =.="

So when I was laying on the operation bed, looking at those horrible spotlight on the ceiling, my whole body was still shaking till I was given a mask for oxygen supply and the anesthetist told me that he's gonna do an injection on me NOW~ that's the time I stopped having the feeling of fear and floating in my dreamland~ Serious! People just laugh at me when I told them that I dreamt when I was unconscious~ =(

Anyway, everything went thru very successfully and I woke up fully naked covered under the blanket~ Luckily no one else was in the ward except my mom~ She waited for me in the ward during the surgery and left for her work not long later~ Gummy came and takeover her duty~ hehe~ to look after me~ No la, to bring me home~ =P

1st thing to do is selca liao~ Hello~ =D

Bcoz I still got to go back for a few follow ups, I had no choice but to postpone my flight back to Sg for another 2 weeks~ I iz happy la actually~ longer holiday now from 10 days to more than 3 weeks~ haha

So during my "yang sheng" period, I got to eat mommy's homecook food everyday! My favorite pan fried pork in dark sauce and herbal soup~ I always think these two dishes are the perfect combo!!!

I got to have dessert at Tong Pak Fu with my mommy after her work~

Playing with DD, and clearing his poops & pees~ =.="

Went to Cheng Beng and ate my favourite chap chai!!!

Hang out with family on Sunday and visited my sis during her working hr~ she's good in sneaking out~ kaka

Did my very first facial treatment at the saloon~ I know my dark circle is horrible but dont you feel that my skin is glowing??? hahaha

So after spending my 3-4 weeks break at home, it's time to go back and begin my new career~ new stage! Hope everything's gonna work out really well~ *finger cross*

DD said bye~~

Last month of 2012

2012-12-29T20:01:00.000-08:00

2012 is gonna over in one more day~!!! Tat's scary!!

Time flies~ and it doesn't wait~ Aside from complaining you r getting older, please look back and see if u have achieved ur 2012 resolutions set out at the beginning of the year? Now it's time to revise and get new resolutions for your 2013!

Frankly speaking, I never set out my own resolutions every year~ Or to make it simple, my wish every year would be in general, to stay healthy, for my families and myself, to earn more money so I can go back asap, or in another word, to save some more money so I can leave this boring city as soon as I could~ I know rite, i nvr set a deadline for myself on when I should go back, tats y I'm still here~ :(

But.....I am trying!!! I miss hanging out with my besties, spend more time with my families, especially my mom, I miss her soooo much~ I miss going to the market with her, visiting my aunties with her and juz follow wherever she goes~ and I enjoy spending time with her~ Of course, I wish I could spend more time with my Yarling as well~ Since we really had tiny bit of time together~ We have been together for 2 years~ Yea, it's 2 YEARS ALREADY!!! But I guess da total no. of days we met and seeing each other are not even more than half a year? 6 months? How sad~ :'(

Ok~ Lemme do a quick overview on what I've done in the last month of 2012. Yea, I'm a lazy pig to dig out all my photos since beginning of the year, i.e. Jan 2012 and do an overview of the year. So i skip all 11 months and start from December 2012 only la... =P

Tried new eye make~ Da Korean style~ N carried Backpack~ Da Korean style~ kakakaka

Now you know y I was carrying a backpack? To carry da 2 aroma diffusers which I bought from Groupon~

Let you see how cool is da Groupon Shop in Singapore~ Feel like buying stuff on da spot? here u go!!

Ipad for you to surf ur preferred merchandise~ then need a printer? They even got it ready for u!! how sweet of them~ then, get a number and wait for your turn to collect your merchandise at the counter! ;)

After collecting them, juz realise it's so.............. mehhhhh~ I tot there're supposed to have mist coming out~ mana tau..... jus work like a fan blowing the fragrance??? =.="

and my very FIRST time to eat noodles again!!! after so many years!!!

This is Ajisen Ramen~ But I felt nausea after tis~ My mouth can accept new taste but my tummy not~ Sad case....

It was a super sudden and spontaneous plan~ that we went JB jus to roam around and guess wat? bumped into my JiuJiu~ He was transferred from Penang to JB for work matters i think few months back~

and this was da time I got diarrhea ~ idk y i always got diarrhea when I'm in KSL~ took a pic in the toilet to 纪念 my diarrhea day~ wt.....???

Random pic of my kiyop oppa~ da never grown up face~ n ignore messy room

Tis was another day in December~ N I 4got when lah~ suddenly felt like eating pasta~ and hope u ady know I don eat noodles, and not many restaurants selling different kind of pastas~ Da only I can think of and nearest to my house, is PastaMania~

So i picked fusili n cream carbonara, ta bao!!

See how they packed take-away food~ they separated the pasta and da base~ Me likey~

Then early celebration of my colleague's bday in the office~

and so ngam on the same day, got Starbucks special promo!!! Juz give any amounts of donation and u can get ur drinks at Starbucks absolutely free!!!

Then another random Friday nite in December, my sis n I suddenly craving for sth different for dinner~ So, we went octapas in Clarke Quay~ n ordered as above. We tot we're unable to finish it so wanted to cancel da creamy chicken (left one)~ Ended up, it was too late to ask for cancellation cuz they served it ady~

and unbelievable, da only food we're jus about to cancel appear to be da only food tat is edible~ da rest~ sux!!!

Da BBQ sotong so so only cuz I don really like seafood.. then one on right was stuffed piquillo (some kind of chili) with cod fish~ da chili taste weird n I totally cant accept it~ so my sis had to clear it~ hehe

Last one in the middle~ Tomato soup~ looks yummy?? NO!!! y?? cuz it's chilled tomato soup~ My sis overlooked n din realise it's chilled one~ so it taste like salty and sour and it's cold~ =.="

ended up, we tried one sip n left it aside~ cannot telan at all~

So da lesson is...don keh kiang n try out sth u're not familiar with~ end up wasting food n torture ur tougue n ur tummy~

Da next day after da horrible dinner, it's my 2nd outdoor photo shooting time~!!!

~Sneak Peak~

Then my sis was complaining on my make up for photo shooting~ She said it was nth special~ so I opted for false lashes~ Got any better??

Da before and after

Then~ It's xmas pressie day!!! Picked up my xmas gift for Yarling~ I bought him a set of BioTerm skin care products last year~ but his skin breakout so he cant continue using it~ How sad~ :'( ~~and wasted my money...it's not cheap!! =P~~

This year, again... It's skin care products STILL~ haha~ I hope tis works better for ur skin~ He doesnt like da moisturizer cuz he claims tat it's sticky oily blah blah blah~ U wan handsome then muz apply lah k?? =P

No..I force him to be handsome~ haha

I love how they packed it so nicely~ got dried flowers inside some more and look at my instax pic, they tied da box up with ribbon~ so sweet....for a man~ haha

Another random day again...went to my client's newly opened chai cafe~ It's da "Chai Time" at Shenton Way, AXA tower~

My 1st try of authentic indian chai coffee~ Tis is so called da indian expresso~ Mumbai Tapri Chai~ it's a blend of coffee, ginger and lemongrass~ I feel so healthy after drinking it~ idk why~ >.< too many spices

Tat's half of my December 2012 post~ shall continue another half b4 2012...which is in 1 and a half day time and I don think I'll make it~ hehe

So, imma wish all my beloved frens all mankind a very awesome year ahead and HAPPY NU YEAR!!!

Muacksssss!!!

My Virgin Commercial Shoot

2012-11-19T08:03:00.001-08:00

Oppsiii~ It's been a while~

Jus a quick update on my virgin shoot devoted to a Singapore based Korean blogshop, Lady Mindeulle~ Please visit their web for more authentic Korean apparels!!!

This new blogshop has juz been launched in da past few weeks so there are a lot more apparels to come~

It was fun working with da 2 lady bossess, Kylie and Pheuron as well as d photographers and their "personal assistants".

As you may know tat this was my very first commercial photo shooting and somemore it was done outdoor and so, kinda big challenge for myself~ Why? Cuz I shy~~ Haha~ Having so many by-passers looking at me out of curiosity and yet I had to pretend tat all of them are transparent and acted like I'm some kind of superstar~ lol~ But of course I'll be da sweet and friendly type cuz it's hard to show my arrogant face with those little princess dresses on~ lol

Those photos were taken at Bishan Park, Singapore and it's actually a very good place for recreation with families, couples or friends in the evening~ A lot of pet owners like walking their dogs there and it's like another playground for the doggies.

It was raining tat day and unfortunately we had to stop for quite a while before we can continue shooting for the rest~ I jus realised that outdoor shooting could be so tiring and time consuming as lotsa set ups need to be done beforehand, seeking for the best shooting spot, etc~ of course I may be the most relaxing one as wat I had to do was simply to be a human hanger for the clothes~ lol

Some photos for your reading pleasure~

I know rite I may look Lansi for most of the time but when it comes to photo shooting~ I'll be smiling like a sunshine!!! Haha~ I sometimes wanted to act cool cuz I tot it shows more personalities and characters but somehow, I always phail to "act"~ =.="

I had another shooting session yesterday i.e. Sunday in JB for an indoor shoot tis time~ Da experience and feeling were totally different and I enjoyed it very much~ Will try to blog about in my next blog if I manage to kill my laziness~ lol.

Da only and one pic as a teaser!! I know it's blur~ but nvm~ One more sexy model as my companion tis round~ Stay tuned for more!! *No guarantee but I hope so~ guilty*

Burfday Mth is over~ Sep is over~!!!

Kenny and Banana popped out and sent me tat day as well.

Last week in August

Simple burfday celebration with sis and colleagues~

It was my very first time ever, to have someone cut me da cake beforehand~ I don mind but, it seems weird leh??!! Tat's my cute recep, Cath's masterpiece~

Sweet rose from Sally, our marketing da jie~

Swensen's

Baskin~ I remember tat we were standing there for quite a while cuz we didnt know if we should celeb there~ We had juz finished our dinner and tis "dessert" seems too "huge" for our tummy~

And little surprise from da beloved oppa~ =)

Oppa~ Kamsha hamnida!! Saranghaeyo

September

A peaceful month for me~ I got myself a new lappie and so, no entertainment allowance left for myself~ lol

But, Oppa got me alot of souvenirs from Korea!!! yay!!! but it's all masks~ yea I know rite, my face need treatment seriously~ Why my face so sensitive wan??!!! Juz one single touch around my face will trigger many many pimples popping out of da surface ady~ sad case...

Anyway, just a short post~ Enjoy!!! ;)

Our Precious Lil Vacation

2012-09-20T06:46:00.001-07:00

Juz a short post on our little vacation in Langkawi Island~ It wasn't tat awesome on da first day~ Raining, ferry delayed, my lunch delayed (I was really starving!!!), dizzy in da ferry and so on and my mood was totally bad and wondered what am I doin here in tis island~ holy crap!!! and Yarling keep telling me tat we're gonna stay at homestay~ gonna share toilet with other housemates and so, I admit tat I wasnt really happy for tis trip at the first place~ and pardon me tat I've said a lot of unfavourable words to Yar~ intentionally~ lolz....when tis trip was meant for my burfday~ as a celebration between us and a pressie for me~

We waited~~

waited.....

and waited.....

All pics were taken using my ip4s~ so, kinda blur~

I took a nap in a ferry~ didnt talk much as I felt like throwing up~ eventhou I got nothing left in my tummy~ all my breakfast had been well-digested~ after like, 6-7 hours??? Da ferry was god damn slow as it was raining and hence, wavy~ captain drove lambat asalkan selamat~ wtf~

Once landed, quickly get a car~ guess wat~ we got QQ!! =.="

and his favourite colour~ in green~ haha

I don wanna complain much ady la~ not bad at least, it didnt breakdown along da trip~ lol~ For me, it has no difference with kancil but born in China~

Oukay! continue on my lunch at 5 p.m.~ I was so hungry tat I can swallow a hippo~ I started with free pop corn, does it count?? lol~

then the real starter, mushroom soup~

...and bruchetta~

my juice~ well, I don usually order drink as once my tummy is filled with all those liquid, I'll nvr ever gonna finish my meal anymore~ but but but!! as I mentioned zillion times already, I very L~ n I need a lot of FOOD!!!

and my pasta!!! I forgot da name but I think it's a combination of various kind herbs and CHEESE!!! OMG I must tell u tat tis bowl of penne was really a food from heaven for me~ sooooooooooo gooooooooood!!!

His un-yummy looking spaghetti~ =P Well, I wanted to order tis initially but he said he wanted this also~ Okay~ Wo Rang Ni~

Should u happen to be there in Langkawi, must go Red Tomato!!!! I personally recommend it~

After da dinner, yea, by da time we finished it, it's nearly dinner time already~ We checked in our hotel~ and it's not a homestay~ Birthday gal got fooled! We stayed at Mutiara Burau Bay Beach Resort~ It was far from da Kuah town but da sea view was beautiful~ After a tiring day, we both slept like a dead fish at around 8 p.m. until.....11 p.m. plus~ As I cant take meds with my empty tummy and so~ we had to get some food~ Da only choice, nearest place to find food, was......lobby~ Y lobby?? To get the room service's menu~!!! =P

We ordered one pizza and shared the food with a midnite movie, SALT~ =)

This is how we spent our first day in Langkawi~

The following day, simply shopping and roaming around the Kuah Town~ Looking for local food and I have no idea why am I so craving for Laksa at tat moment~ I damn miss Malaysia local food man!!!

Thanks God that we found Malay Laksa at da roadside~ Stopped by for a quick snack and went to Gunung Raya Tower!!! It was cooling and foggy due to da rain last nite~

I got da chance to try out something new~ da cigar and ice wine~!!! Don particularly like any one of them but just try for fun~

We picked a cheapest wine corkscrew at only RM3 or 5 as we didnt wanna waste our money buying an expensive one juz for a bottle of wine~

Now, let's see wat happened~

=,="

We tried to look for ways to open it from youtube videos but most of da solutions didnt work for our situation~ no choice but to visit our hotel's bar and ask for HELP~!!!

Cheers!!! and good nite~

We took our brunch at the Loaf and left on da next day~

Ok, I shall sleep now~ Thanks for reading and bye~

I was told by my Sis that there would be a Comex at Suntec this coming weekend and she knew that I'd need a lappy very badly~ I think no one understands me better than she does~ I was really excited and cant wait any longer for the coming Comex~

As usual, we set our brunch at 1 p.m., left at 12 noon. Had our brunch at Old Town, Novena cuz I wanted to cash-in my salary to my UOB bank account~ There are only limited branches that operate extended hours during weekend and Novena branch is one them~ After pumping in da fund to "finance" my need and finishing our brunch, we headed to City Hall, Suntec for 3C products shopping~

It was my very first time to be at the Comex~ I never expect it could be so crowded with damn lotsa ppl!! Many security guards were there to regulate the traffic~ All da crews were so "obedient" when distributing flyers and brochures by "standing behind the yellow line"~ Haha~ Tis is truth I tell u! They simply did it tat way to avoid blocking of da walkway at Comex~

After roaming around and obtaining opinion from Yarling, I'd found da one I wanted at Best Denki counter~ But wat happened was that the model was out of stock and would need to wait till 6 p.m. for extra stocks.

My kiasu instinct prompted me to pay 1st so as to book for da lappy cuz most of da counters had no more available in stocks~ After settlement, my sis and I went for a high tea at Kenny Roger's~ After knowing her bf would like to get one of the same also, we made our move back to Suntec to ask for da same model with 15.6" instead~ FYI, da one I paid for was 14"~

What a fortunate, there was available in stock for 15.6" at another counter, Gain City at Level 4~ My sis quickly made payment and grabbed one for safe, just in case they run out of stocks again~ While for me, still waiting for the call to collect my lappy~ After much delays from Best Denki, I decided to cancel the payment and buy the 15.6" one from Gain CIty~ Thanks God da earlier payment was made by Visa and it can be cancelled!

Rushed to and forth from 1st floor to 4th, juz to get a lappy for myself~ Anyway, It's in my hand now and we went back happily with new lappy~

Here's da Granny Lappy~ Bye bye Granny!!!

Welcome to my life~!!!

Talk soon and nitezzzz~ ;)

Okie, they dint enter da Disneyland~ Instead, they snapped pics outside da Land~ All of us tot it'd be time consuming hanging around da Land~ So... juz shoot anything with Mickey and then.... We can proudly announce tat "We've been to da Disneyland!!!" hahahaha..... CHEATING ~!!!

BTW, what am I doing while they were all having fun in the Disneyland??

I went to sambut Gummy~ Dropped baggage in da hotel den went out and searched for local street food~!!!

U don see my legs~ taken at de overpass from da hotel to Mongkok mrt~

Apa apa pun tangkap~

Den, hunt for Curry Fishball~ I like it so much and I tell u wat, I had tis almost everyday noe??? i'm not good in describing how it really taste like but it was completely different wit da fishball tat we usually take here ~ it's juz....NICE LAH!!!

Enjoy da local dessert, herbal jelly~ not much different~ juz a random shop on da street selling herbal jelly so, da taste was okay loh~

I look like a host in somekind of delicacy tv programme explaining how nice it was but...actually, okok onie..

Tis is small bowl shark fin soup, taste abit weird~ I personally think it's becuz of da vinegar ~ cuz it dint taste like da usual vinegar we take and it's red in color~ So I believe it muz be da vinegar tat spoilt da soup~

We dint try tis of course and I don think it's yummy at all~ so snap for your reading pleasure ONLY~ ;p

Local honey char siew fann~ taste pretty good but den it would be better it they chop da char siew a bit thinner la~ I ordered roasted goose drumstick rice~ taste like kayu~ so hard to chew~ blek!!!

Wanna noe y I no buy tat time?? Cuz I mistakenly tot tat our company dinner was at 6.30pm but it was actually supposed to be at 6pm~ and I was still roaming around da Ladies Market without knowing tat I was already late~!!! until Angie called and urged me back~

Den, I started my running competition from Ladies Market to da hotel~ den I sweat like hell in such a cooling weather~ wanna spell da F word ady~!!!!!!

Our Company dinner was at a Chinese restaurant~ Idk da name kay~ Jus sit back and eat~

Somekind of clams served wit garlics and soy sauce???

Dee only vege~ and dee only dish I can eat~ common home-cook dish only wat?!

Fried rice wit spices and herbs~

Dessert~

Glutinous rice wit mango~ I don like mango as well~

Berry Chinese feel rite? but feel like scene taken from ghost movie~

Woohoo~ amazing lighting ever!!!

Okay, free and easy again after da dinner and tis is da time I need to rush for 2nd round to meet da pity guy who Q so long juz to buy da peak tram ticket to enjoy da romantic nite view wit me~ Pity boy~

Be frank, I was really tired rushing here and there to meet my colleagues and den him during these few days trip~ imagine tat I really wanted to accom my colleague cuz tis is a Company trip anyway~ to do some shopping like any gals always do~ but I do hoping to spend my time wit him as well~ So I was really frustrated for some times there and my temper was really bad!!! he can tell tat~

But dunno la~ seeing him bringing me all da way to da peak~ looked so innocent and worried tat da tram will be stopped operating at 12 a.m. den he cant show me da pretty view ady la... bla bla bla~ So I don wanna calculate wit him anymore~ Okay la, he dint do anythin wrong also but I simply wanna release my no siok-ness on someone and he'll be da unlucky man to endure it...=P...So patient yar~ =D

See~ no more ppl~ We occupied da entire tram~ muahaha~ can film "Ou Xiang Ju" or mtv here somemore if you wish to~ =P

Woo~ Y I look so refreshing here?

Acting like "nv zhu jiao"

Look at da floor~ It's made of a series of concave sections so tat da people standing can hold their grip while da tram elevates like nearly 45 degrees~ Cool???

Tried to nap da nite scene behind but failed~ =(

It was windy and freezingly cold especially at nite and da location itself being on top of da hill~ enough to chill u out~ ;)

Going down again~ from da peak~ sky terrace ady closed tat time~ so cant see hk nite overview~

The 4days 3nites trip in HK has been an adventurous experience for all of us~ Baggage lost on the 1st day we landed in HK had already taken up half of da day~ Sending colleague to da hospital on the last day, some arguments in da air port causing da last minute check-in in the air port bla bla bla~ 4 of us (my colleagues n I) running like mad in the air port from terminal 1 to terminal 2, from da immigration check point to da gate, in juz 10 mins time!!! Da distance was so far!!! Y HK airport so big???!!!! We were like having somekind of amazing race competition cuz we run so fast and av1 was looking at us wtf~ So embarrassing ~ Wat came into my mind was "We muz get in da plane.......We muz get in da plane........." I don care how awkward I look anymore~!!! Once we reached the gate, it's not the end yet~ we still need to take a bus, to get to da plane~ wth???!!!! Heard two guys whispering behind me, giving unfavorable comments on us, "Nah, becuz of this kind of ppl la, tat's y we need to wait so long, huiyo~" Fish u idiot!!! u dunno wat was happening so stop making brainless judgment!!! and also my colleague was holding a Long Champ paper bag cuz her luggage was small and she didnt wan to put in it hence, hand-carry~ and some ppl juz said "Nah, shopping la~" wtf??????????? stupid Singaporean~!!!!!!!!!!!! =PPPPPPPP

After so much complaints on da trip, guess should talk sth nice bout it now~ I got da photos from my colleagues but i think da folder is big~ facing difficulties transferring them to my com~ will try to figure out how later~ Good tat we at least, bumped into some HK celebrities in HK~ woohooo.....Now my Colleague shout out loud " I LURVE HONG KONG!!!!!!" at least there's sth worth for da trip!!

It burns my wallet!!!! But I think it works on me.. I can feel da difference in jus one nite!!! How cool weh!!!! I'm nt being exaggerate but I think my wrinkles got lessen eh~ i actually used to have like fine lines under my eyes n my under eyes always look really dry & it makes me look even older.....

So for this time, I dare myself trying smthin tat might be effective on me but also cost a lil bit more than my usual spending~ lemme try for couple weeks more then I do another review har... :D

Da uber nice n frenly Xiao Jie advised me that this 30ml fluid can last for 4-6 mths~"reasonable wat"~ ok I wan~ hehe

Ok... It actually moisturises, protects and smoothes the eye contour of all skin types with precious Caviar Extract. Also, specially created texture to remove dark eye circle (wa mao wa mao!!! *raise hand*), eye pouch (walao eh, how can I resist??~) smooth fine lines ( i wan!!!) and illuminate eyes with youthful sparkle (sparkling smmore!!!!). Awwhhh, I can look 10 yrs younger from now on~ so sweet~ :P

Can't wait for da result now~!!! Hopefully I can step out from my house without having to conceal my under eyes at all Liao~ I wanna have pretty eyes!!!!

P/s again: with caviar extract eh ladies!!!! Hiak Hiak Hiak~ :p

My breakkie

2011-10-15T00:04:00.000-07:00

I tot tis gonna be an awesome breakkie for me cuz I haven eaten for almost a year ady~ I was delighted to prepare my breakkie~ Kellogg's cornflakes, chilled milk and da yoguru's yogurt (ie raspberry crunch + rain forest yogurt)~

See......Im ready to have my lovely breakkie liao~

The dark color thingy was da choco flakes for rainforest yogurt~ not worms, avthin was fine at tat time...

Properly stirred, and then eat~!!!!

BUT when i was about to finish it, gosh!!!!!! Ultra-intense pain in my tummy tat i could nvr imagine it could ever happen to me!! it's alot more painful than my menstrual cramp..~ I was like partially dead man lying in my bed~ curl like a prawn n i was completely IMMOVABLE ~

Wat came into my mind was, "wat if i juz die like tat, would anybody notice it???" my sister? my owner?? "how many days to discover my dead body then after i died??"7 all those stupid question

i got nth to blame but my cereal breakkie~ good tat i'm fine now after having few sips of extreme hot water, to kill da pain???? haha~ i guess it might be too chilly for my tummy as a breakkie in da mornin~ phewwwwwwww...

gosh...should I stil finish da milk then after tis horrible breakkie experience??? haih....

Dinners

2011-10-07T08:07:00.000-07:00

It's been awhile~ and blogspot has changed its layout and I don even notice~ Looks cool~

This not gonna be an interesting post but simply for sharing~ =)

This pic below was my dinner for the past Friday~ Guess how much was my one piece of carrot cake and a cup of blended fruit juice dinner??? More than 10 bucks man!!! No choice cuz my tummy was craving for cake so bad, so, have to pamper my tummy after a tiring week~

This all in one juice contained watermelon, honey dew, milk, orange and I cant really remember da rest, but it was good!!!

I actually wanted to have cake at Han's but too bad it was full house~!!! No table for me to enjoy my "dinner" and so, I went Coffee Bean~

I understand from Sy's sis-in-law that there's one Coffee Bean located somewhere at International Plaza or near to the Tanjong Pagar mrt, after 5 or 6pm, U can get any cakes from Coffee Bean at half price!! Which mean, a cake tat cost $5 will sell only for $2.50~!!! I havent tried da discounted cake so far, but will try out one day...=)

Depending on how much I would crave for it~

This pic below was my dinner for Sat and I believe it was da next day after da abovementioned Friday~

It's Mr. You Tiao~ Da set I ordered included of course da you tiao, porridge and a soy bean~

There are alot flavors of you tiao to choose from and wat i remember da most was da almond you tiao~ Nice!!! i think got seaweed, onion and etc...and i find it quite special~

I never tried any of the flavors anyway~ =P

Oukay~ short and simply enough~ baiiiii
