Valentine's gift from Nelly

For Valentine's day I got a package from Nelly (Nelly is not a guy, it's just a swedish online shop!). Inside, I found the shoes I have craved for so long. Unfortunately they are sold out at the moment. Lucky me, I could get hold of them on time! :) So today I had breakfast wearing my new high heels and eating some heart-shaped eggs ;) yuuuummmm, damn good!

Pünktlich zum Valentinstag habe ich ein Päckchen von Nelly bekommen (Nein, Nelly ist kein Typ, das ist nur ein schwedischer Online-Shop!). Drinnen befanden sich die Schuhe, auf die ich es schon so lange abgesehen habe. Leider sind sie momentan ausverkauft! Ich Glückliche konnte sie noch rechtzeitig in den virtuellen Warenkorb schmeißen. Das heißt: Heute habe ich mit meinen neuen High Heels gefrühstückt :) Die Spiegeleier in Herzform hab ich selbst gemacht ^^ yuuummmm...

RIP Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston died so young, at the age of 48. I hope we respect her death and I hope we will let her Rest in Peace (in the true sense of word!). It makes me sad if some people on facebook react annoyed about those, who talk about the death of "famous people". We pursued Whitney's life and we have formed a special connection to her. If I state my sympathy on my blog, it's just a little gesture to express my mournfulness. RIP Whitney Houston.

Whitney Houston is so früh gestorben, mit gerade mal achtundvierzig, Ich hoffe wir respektieren ihren Tod und lassen sie -wortwörtlich- in Frieden ruhen. Es macht mich traurig, wenn ich sehe, dass manche Leute auf Facebook genervt über solche reagieren, die den Tod "bekannter Persönlichkeiten" erwähnen. Ich meine, wir haben Whitney's Leben verfolgt und haben somit einen bestimmten Draht/ Gefühle zu ihr aufgebaut. Wenn ich meinen Beileid ausspreche, ist es einfach eine kleine Geste der Anteilnahme. RIP Whitney Houston.

When i saw this jacket for the very first time at Zara, i thought: "Hm, it's special... but i dunno, something is ugly... but on the other hand it looks cute, ugly-cute!" Haha, totally paradox... Do you have those kind of moments sometimes aswell?! The material combination of thick down and thin tweed was disturbing my eye in the bgeinning. But in the end the jacket landed in my shopping bag... it convinced me somehow :)

Als ich diese Jacke das erste Mal bei Zara gesehen habe, dachte ich: "Hm, es ist irgendwie besonders.... aber ich weiß nicht, irgendwas ist es auch hässlich... obwohl... der Schnitt sieht süß aus. Hässlichsüß, irgendwie." Haha, total paradox... Habt ihr auch manchmal solche Geschmacksstörungen?! Die Kombination aus dicker Daune und dünnem Tweed hat mein Auge anfänglich total irritiert. Letzten Endes ist die Jacke in meiner Shopping-Tüte gelandet... ich weiß nicht, ich hab mich am Ende doch verliebt ;)

The Baunat diamond tour episodes come to an end... Alice and me spend two days packed with adventures. We both felt trusted outright (we haven't met before), but we decided to share a hotel room immediately. Really, I am so picky about my travelling partners (because I am a big adventurer and people normally prefer it... normal!), BUT Alice was my perfect complement - better said "not normal" ;)

Far more I got to know more about diamonds and today at the breakfast table I shared my "knowledge" with my mom and she was totally puzzled :D Besides I met alot of nice bloggers in Antwerp. I was so surprised when two girls told me that they know my blog... I... I... I was simply amazed :) Also, I had a special connection to Antìa and Pili, two spanish bloggers (watch out, i will come to visit you in Malaga and Galicia!). They gave me a lot of good spanish energy...

Die Baunat Diamanten-Tour kommt zum Ende... Alice und ich haben gemeinsam zwei wundervolle Tage, vollgepackt mit Abenteuern verbracht. Wir hatten gleich eine "Connection" (haben uns vorher nie getroffen!) und so waren wir uns einig: Hotelzimmer wird geteilt! Eigentlich bin ich ein bisschen wählerisch, was meine Reisepartner angeht (ich bin eine Abenteuerin und normalerweise mögen es die Leute... normal!), ABER Alice war meine perfekte Ergänzung - halt nicht ganz normal ;)

Weit mehr habe ich eine Menge über Diamanten gelernt. Heute am Frühstückstisch habe ich mein Wissen mit meiner Mutter geteilt und sie ist fast aus den Latschen gekippt :D Außerdem habe ich während des Events eine Menge coole Blogger kennengelernt. Zwei von denen kannten sogar meinen Blog, ich... ich... ich war so freudig überrascht :) Eine ganz spezielle Vertrautheit habe ich zu Antìa und Pili gespürt, zwei spanische Bloggerinnen. Sie haben mir eine gute Portion positive spanische Energie gegeben! ;)

Guess what inspired me?! Exactly, the I♥NY shirts.You don't have to buy superduper creative presents, sometimes a nice packaging is enough. As you know, i work for the eBay blog "dealhunter". There, I occasionally present my DIY. There you can also get the template for these packages.

Ratet mal, was mich inspiriert hat?! Genau, die I♥NY shirts. Man muss nicht immer auf-Teufel-komm-raus-superduper-kreative Geschenke machen. Manchmal reicht auch eine schöne Aufmachung. This is such an amazing idea. It's simple and genius at one time. The Heart Map Art would be a wonderful gift either for your boyfriend, or for your best friend. For example: You can give it to your boyfriend as a present and mark on the heart map the place where you guys met for the very first time. Or you give it to your best friend, just because you know she loves to travel alot.

Oh man, isn't it sweet?! What a cool and simple idea of Ty from the States: Why not just "modifying" childhood pictures in a funny way?! You can edit pictures with easy softwares like Paint. You know what you should do?! Just kidnap the mom of your boyfriend and start browsing in his old photo storage boxes. Put the edited photo in a nice frame - finished! I think it would be a very special valentine's gift.

Oh mann, wie süß. Das ist eine simple und coole Idee von Ty aus Amerika: Warum nicht einfach mal die Kindheits-Bilder ein bisschen "lustig modifizieren"?! Das Bearbeiten geht auch mit einfachen Programmen wie Paint. Ich würde an eurer Stelle die Mutter eures Freundes kidnappen und mit ihr seine alten Foto-Kisten durchstöbern. Packt das bearbeitete Foto in einen Rahmen - fertig! Ich glaube das wäre ein sehr besonderes Geschenk.

Diese kleine Herz-Beutelchen sind kinderleicht nachzumachen. Jede/r von euch müsste doch einen Tacker zu Hause haben?! Ihr müsst nur rotes Papier kaufen, kleine Herzchen daraus schneiden und etwas auf die Vorderseite schreiben. Schnappt euch den Tacker und los! Man kann Süßigkeiten und kleine Accessoires in die Beutelchen reinmachen.

Erstmal solltet ihr euch informieren, wo man Tafel- bzw. Magnetfarbe kaufen kann. Danach ist es ziemlich einfach eine Tafel-Tasse zu erstellen. Das Schöne ist, man kann die Tasse jederzeit benutzen und jederzeit einen neuen Spruch draufschreiben. Doch für Valentinstag wäre das ein perfektes Geschenk, weil man so dem Liebsten (z.B zum Frühstück) etwas liebevolles raufschreiben kann! ;)

My spanish girls: Antìa + Pili

When Baunat invited me to join the diamond tour, i packed up several really nice outfits.

When my blogger colleague Alice and me arrived in Antwerp, we thought for few seconds that we've coincidentally landed in Siberia (bye, bye high heels, hello warm boots!). Our fingers stiffened to hard icicles and the cutting wind blistered our skin. It was bloody cold.

The diamond tour started the next day. We met several other bloggers from Europe (exciting!).

As soon as we began to walk, snow began to fall without ceasing. Do you know the feeling, if you are very very cold, you just don't want to talk?! I mean, if you are so focused on the cold and your shiver attack, so you just not in mood to talk anymore?! :D That what happened to me.

Als mich Baunat zur Diamanten-Tour einlud, habe ich erstmal viele schöne Outfits eingepackt.

Als meine Blogger-Kollegin Alice und ich in Antwerpen eingetroffen sind, haben wir für einen Augenblick gedacht in Sibirien gelandet zu sein (bye bye High-Heels, hallo Winterstiefel!). Unsere Finger verwandelten sich in Eiszapfen und der bissige Wind hat unsere Haut wund geschrubbt. Es war einfach arschkalt.

Am nächsten Tag nahm die Diamanten-Tour ihren Lauf. Alice und ich trafen auf ein paar andere europäische Blogger (spannende Sache!). Als wir losmarschierten, fing der Schnee an zu fallen - nonstop! Kennt ihr das Gefühl, wenn euch richtig richtig kalt ist, so dass ihr einfach keinen Bock mehr habt zu reden?! Ich meine, wenn ihr so sehr auf die Kälte und euren Zitter-Anfall konzentriert seid, dass ihr einfach nicht mehr sprechen wollt?! :D So erging es mir.

I bought those bright orange shoes @ H&M (new collection!).

The flashy colour WOWed me immediately. I think the shoes would look great with a simple wide XXL-shirt. As much as i like the colour and the model, I realised that the material bulges really fast. The material feels like cardboard, so it's not a surprise. I´m not 100% sure if I will keep them, probably not. But I can advise you against buying them.

Ich habe die knallorangenen Schuhe bei H&M ergattert (neue Kollektion!).

Die leuchtende Farbe hat mich sofort begeistert. Ich denke die Schuhe würden super mit einem XXL-Shirt zur Geltung kommen. Doch so sehr mir das Modell auch gefallen hat, ich habe festgestellt, dass die Oberfläche (Karton) schnell ausbeult. Ich werde sie -leider- zurückgeben müssen. Jedenfalls kann ich euch davon abraten sie zu kaufen.

DIY: pimp your heelswith some nail polish

Remember I was customizing my heels few days ago?!

Unfortunately the old emaille colour peeled off quickly. I just took my neon orange nail polish and painted over the old paint. I like the effect... damn, it's dazzling the eyes. Girls, don't let your nail polishes dry. You can always use your nail polishes in a creative way.

Erinnert ihr euch, als ich vor paar Tagen meine Heels verändert habe?!

Leider pellt die Emaille-Farbe zu schnell ab. Also habe ich meinen orangefarbigen Nagellack herausgekramt und habe damit über die "alte Farbe" gepinselt. Ich mag den Neon-Effekt.

Baunat invited several european bloggers to join a diamond tour in belgium.

Baunat hat ein paar europäische Blogger zur Diamanten-Tour nach Belgien eingeladen.

It's weird. Few weeks ago I was watching TV with my boyfriend and we saw a documentation about Antwerp. He told me that Belgium is the No.1 country for diamonds. I was surprised, because I never heard of it before. Three days later Baunat contacted me and invited me for a diamond tour in Belgium. Isn't that a huge coincidence?!

Es ist skurril. Vor ein paar Wochen habe ich mit meinem Freund eine Doku über Antwerpen geschaut. Er fragte mich, ob ich wusste, dass Belgien für Diamanten bekannt sei. Ich war überrascht, weil es mir noch nie zuvor zu Ohren gekommen ist. Drei Tage später hat mich Baunat kontaktiert und mich zur Diamanten-Tour nach Belgien eingeladen. Mega-Zufall, oder?!

All women love diamonds. They are precious, radiant, expensive and a status symbol. Sure.

But I guess less women actually know the characteristics of diamonds (neither did I before!). Diamonds are so much more than just good-looking "stones". Btw the rings on the first picture were my favourite ones ;)

So gut wie jede Frau liebt Diamanten. Sie funkeln, sind schön und ein Statussymbol. Klar.

Allerdings denke ich, dass die Wenigsten die Besonderheiten eines Diamanten kennen (ich davor auch nicht!). Ja, Diamanten sind mehr als nur gutaussehende "Steinchen". Apropos, die Ringe auf dem ersten Foto waren meine absoluten Favoriten ;)

Did you know that the best clarity grade is called loupe-clean?! Did you know that 1 carat is 2 grams?! The owner of Baunat explained all these to us.

Habt ihr gewusst, dass ein Brillant kein Edelstein ist, sondern ein Diamant mit einem speziellen Schliff?! Habt ihr gewusst, dass die beste Klarheitsstufe lupenrein heißt?! Habt ihr gewusst, dass 1 Karat 2 Gramm beträgt?! Der Baunat-Besitzer hat uns all diese Dinge erklärt.

We had respect to those beauties. I just mixed up the photos. We had a snack, afterwards all the bloggers got introduced into the mystery of diamonds.

Nein, wir haben keine Cupcakes gemampft und gleichzeitig die Diamanten mit unseren fettigen Fingern angefasst ;) Wir haben die Diamanten selbstverständlich respektiert (habe nur die Fotos ein bisschen durchmischt!). Eine Cupcake-Pause war uns erstmal gegönnt und danach wurde wir in das Mysterium der edlen Steine eingeführt.

Leider konnte ich nicht den intensiven Glanz der Diamanten auf den Fotos einfangen. Es ist eigentlich unmöglich. Antía ♥, eine Bloggerin aus Spanien war jedenfalls total begeistert. Schnappschüsse sind halt unbezahlbar :)

This was just a little peek inside our day in Antwerp. We experienced so much more. The diamond tour was looong. I have so many nice pictures to post about diamonds (of course), food & food & more food, the wonderful bloggers I met and so on... Stay tuned! ;)

Das war nur ein winziger Einblick in unseren Tag in Antwerpen. Wir haben so vieles mehr erlebt und gesehen. Die Diamanten-Tour hat einen ganzen Tag eingenommen. Bye bye Antwerp! Here I am sitting in the train, on my way to Brussels. These days I will elaborate about the reason for my visit.

Bye bye Antwerp! Hier sitze ich in einem Zug Richtung Brüssel. Wie gesagt, die Tage werde ich euch den Grund meines Aufenthalts schildern.

I love layered clothing. Since awhile I especially love wearing two shirts one above the other.

Ich liebe den Zwiebel-Look. Seit Längerem mag ich es zwei Shirts übereinander zu tragen.

...there's nothing better than sitting in a heated train with a cup of coffee and to observe the people outside. The couple on the last pic just made me smile ;) ... apropos: do you have a typical "travelling outfit"?! Do you dress comfy or you don't mind wearing dresses / accessoires / shoes with heels while travelling?!

...es gibt nichts Besseres, als im geheizten Zug mit 'nem Becher Kaffee zu sitzen und draußen das Menschentreiben zu beobachten. Das Päarchen im letzten Bild hat mich einfach zum Schmunzeln gebracht ;) ... apropo: Habt ihr eigentlich ein typisches "Reise-Outfit"?! Today I arrived in Brussel. The city reminds me of Kreuzkölln (my neighbourhood in Berlin). Unfortunately I can spend just few hours here and tomorrow I will leave for Berlin again. At the moment I enjoy the breathtaking view out of my window and the solitude too. Besides, I wanted to show you my gorgeous cream white dress from river island, which i bought in Antwerp today... i just couldn't resist ;)

Heute bin ich in Brüssel angekommen. Die Statdt erinnert mich irgendwie an mein Viertel Berlin Kreuzkölln... Morgen werde ich wieder abreisen, also bleiben mir hier nur ein paar Stunden. Im Moment genieße ich die atemberaubende Aussicht aus meinem Hotelfenster und um ehrlich zu sein auch die Abgeschiedenheit. Übrigens, ich wollte euch noch mein Kleid von River Island präsentieren, das ich heute in Antwepren gekauft habe... ich konnte einfach nicht wiederstehen ;)

i've got an unusual invitation to antwerp...

Alice and me arrived in Antwerp at 9 P.M. today. The streets were deserted, it felt like a ghost town. Why we went to Belgium?! We've got an invitation for an interesting event with several other european bloggers... I am really curious and can't wait to blog about it.

Alice und ich sind heute um 21.00Uhr in Antwerpen angekommen. Die Straßen waren wie leer gefegt - keine Menschseele weit und breit! Warum wir nach Belgien gefahren sind?! Wir haben eine Einladung zu einem interessanten Event bekommen, an dem auch andere europäische Blogger teilnehmen werden. Ich bin sooo neugierig und kanns kaum erwarten mehr darüber zu berichten ;)

I am so unlucky with trains... Today my train came to stillstand for 5 hours because of some technical issues... the whole electricity failed and all the passengeres had to freeze inside the cold wagons. No electricity means: Cold feet, crying hyperactive children, hungry Katjusha, toilets full of pee (the flush was connected to the electricity!) and no hot chocolate to buy on-board restaurant.

As soon Alice and me arrived, we ran into a restaurant and crammed ourselve with food... I was hungry for hours and the Creme Brulee tasted like heaven ;) Tomorrow is a new day and some news about the event ;) Stay tuned!

Ich bin so ein Pechvögel, wenn es um Züge geht... Heute kam mein Zug zum Stillstand und stand nur da, 5 Stunden mitten in der Schneelandschaft... Der Fahrer hat einen Kurzschluss angekündigt. Die Elektrizität hat den Geist aufgegeben und alle Passagiere haben sich in den Wagons den Hintern abgefroren. Keine Elekrizität heißt: Kalte Füße, hyperaktive heulende Kinder, eine hungrige Katjusha, Toiletten voll mit Pipi (die Spüle war mit der Elektrizität verbunden!) und vor allem man konnte keine heiße Schokolade kaufen :(

Als Alice und ich ankamen, sind wir sofort in ein Restaurant gerannt und haben uns sozusagen voll gemästet. So viele Stunden ohne Essen ausgeharrt und das Creme Brulee schmeckte wie Himmel auf Erden :D Morgen ist dann ein neuer Tag mit neuen Posts ;) Stay tuned! ;)

DIY: my business card

meine selbstgemachten Visitenkarten

Just pair your ideas with photoshop and voilà you can create a template for your individual business card... after that you should go to a copy shop (with good colour printer!) and print them out. For me it's cheaper than ordering business cards.

Man muss seine Ideen mit Photoshop paaren und voilà man kann ein individuelles Layout für die eigenen Visitenkarten erstelllen. Danach sucht man sich am Besten ein Kopierladen, der qualitative Farbdrucker anbietet. Vor Ort gibt es dann Papier, das 300g wiegt - das schnappt ihr euch! Immerhin komme ich so günstiger weg, als Visitenkarten zu bestellen.

1. I am a big city girl, that's why I would love to have a colourful painted house somewhere in the city centre. Preferably there's a tower attached for my bedroom (i've been to San Francisco once and the houses there, totally inspired me).

2. Starbucks. This is something luxury while you are a student. In the university breaks you are torn between one decision: Either the 50cent watery tasting coffee around the corner or the creamy vanilla calory coffee bomb from starbucks. But sometimes you should allow yourself to enjoy ;)

3. If there would be an animal which i would like to have, then it would be a booooooo. I would cuddle him 24/7.

4. "Be Original" - simple as it sounds, but it's not always easy to fulfill. You don't have to force yourself being original, this is the worst. If you love it conservative, be conservative. But too many people are afraid to show their originality - don't be afraid! Dare to live out your originality!

5. New York City: I am absolutely dreaming of this place. If I wouldn't have to many responsibilities here in Berlin, I would grab my suitcase and immigrate immediately.

6. My new self-made business card :) I am tired of scribbling my name and telephone number on a piece of napkin while I am out on events. It is really something important to have. I will talk about my business card later.

1. Eins steht fest: Ich bin ein Hauptstadtmädle. Am Liebsten hätte ich ein kleines, süßes Haus im Stadtzentrum (die Häuser in San Francisco haben mich zum Beispiel sehr inspiriert!). Wenn das Geld in Strömen fließen sollte, dann kaufe ich mir ein bunt angemaltes Häuschen mit Türmchen für mein Schlafzimmerchen ;)

2. Starbucks. Als Student ist das Luxus. Jeden morgen die selbe Frage: Kaufe ich mir lieber einen wässrigen 50Cent-Kaffee um die Ecke oder doch lieber eine sahnige Kalorienbombe von Starbucks?! Manchmal muss man sich es einfach mal gut gehen lassen.

3. Wenn es ein Tier geben würde, das ich gerne hätte, dann wäre es ein Boooooo. Ich würde ihn dann nonstop abknutschen.

4. "Sei originell!" - klingt einfach, ist es aber nicht. Man darf sich auch nie zwingen originell zu sein, das ist das Schlimmste. Wenn man es lieber konservativ mag, dann soll es auch dabei bleiben. Allerdings haben zu viele Leute Angst davor ihre individuelle Seite preiszugeben. Man muss sich aber trauen es auszuleben!

5. New York City: Meine Traumstadt! Hätte ich hier in Berlin nicht 1000 Sachen, für die ich Verantwortung tragen müsste, dann würde ich auf der Stelle meinen Koffer packen und auswandern.

6. Meine neue, selbstgemachte Visitenkarte. Ehrlich gesagt, hatte ich es satt auf jedem Event meinen Namen und Nummer auf ein Stück Serviette zu kritzeln. Visitenkarten sind extrem wichtig, später gibt's etwas mehr dazu.

If you say "I hate...", that's something really intense. I know. But guys, do you know what I hate?! If people say the sentence: "Oh no, valentine's day is totally overvalued!". If they say it about christmas, new year's eve or birthdays, it's the same. I HATE IT!

It's like if somebody tells a kid that disney movies are totally corny and stupid. There are certain statements, they just slap you really hard in the face. I DON'T WANNA HEAR THEM.
I just want to dream and I just want people stop being so killjoyish. If we are honest to ourselves, people just complain about ceremonial occasions if a) they haven't bought a present on time b) they just don't want to spend money on others c) they don't have any gift ideas or d) they just always have whiny tendencies.

Also, when my family came with me to germany, we weren't blessed with money. But those kind of occasions always brought us together. It makes us celebrating life, love and our gathering. You can get together on every kind of day. But you know the function of scheduled feast days (i just count valentine's day too)?! If people get scheduled, they can plan beforehand and they feel a sense obligation (it's not that bad as it sounds!). Especially guys need SCHEDULES, because they tend to forget important things / dates :D Not every guy, but you know what I mean ;) I need schedules too and those occasions make you arrange the chaos in your life :)

There are different ways to show your love, especially on valentine's day. Not everything has to be expensive. If your attitude towards ceremonial occasions was always negative, give it another try. Plan beforehand. Believe me, it will make YOU and your beloved ones absolutely happy. One question: Would you like to get some DIY valentine's gift ideas from me?!

Wenn man "Ich hasse..." sagt, ist es ziemlich krass. Ich weiß. Aber wisst ihr, was ich hasse?! :P Wenn Leute folgenden Satz aussprechen: "Ach, Valentinstag ist doch völlig überbewertet!". Wenn man sich über Weihnachten, Silvester oder Geburtstage auch so auslässt, dann HASSE ICH ES!

Es ist so, als würde man euch als Kind sagen: "Walt Disney Filme sind doch völlig kitschig und bescheuert!". Es gibt Aussagen, die fühlen sich an, wie ein harter Schlag ins Gesicht. ICH WILL ES NICHT HÖREN. Ich will nur weiterträumen und Leute sollen aufhören so spielverderberisch zu sein. Mal ehrlich, man beschwert sich doch nur darüber, wenn man a) kein Geschenk rechtzeitig gekauft hat b) kein Geld für andere ausgeben will c) keine Geschenk-Ideen hat oder d) generell meckerisch veranlagt ist.

Als meine Familie und ich nach Deutschland gekommen sind, hatten wir nicht gerade prallgefüllte Portemonnaies. Solche Anlässe haben uns allerdings immer zusammengebracht. Klar, kann man jeden Tag gemeinsam genießen, aber was bewirken denn genau diese Feiertage (ich packe mal Valentinstag dazu!)?! Ganz einfach: Wärme und Freude. Außerdem schlägt unser Pflichtgefühl Alarmglocken (hört sich negativ an, ist es aber nicht!). Vor allem Kerle brauchen das, weil sie sonst gerne etwas "vergessen" und uns dann mit Hundeblick anschauen :D Nicht alle, aber ihr wisst schon was ich meine ;) Vor allem ICH brauche Termine oder datierte Anlässe. Warum nicht?! So, kann man auch das Chaos im Leben besser dirigieren.

Es gibt verschiedene Wege seine Liebe zu zeigen, vor allem am Valentinstag. Nicht alles muss teuer sein. Wenn eure Einstellung gegenüber solchen Anlässen immer nicht die Beste war, dann gibt doch einmal eurer schlechten Einstellung ein Kick in den Hintern. Plant einfach im Voraus. Ihr werdet sehen, Valentinstag, Weihnachten, Silvester und Geburtstage können glücklich machen. Eine Frage: Habt ihr überhaupt Lust auf ein paar DIY-Valentinstag-Geschenkideen?!

What do you prefer: To give presents or to get presents?! I like both :) But if I invite my homies for dinner, I love to serve something special and to see the glitter in their eyes ;)

I totally fancy extraordinary party drinks and food tipps. Recently I discovered something really cool (in the true sense of word). Ladies and gentlemen, i would like to present you the ultimate party shot glasses made out of ice. I think my russian relatives would cast a somersault if I tell them about it :D

Was mögt ihr mehr: Beschenkt zu werden oder andere zu beschenken?! Also ich mag beides :) Wenn ich allerdings meine Homies zum Dinner einlade, möchte ich ihnen etwas Besonderes servieren und freue mich, wenn ich ihre Augen aufglitzern sehe;)

Ich steh ja total auf außergewöhnliche Party-Futter-Trink-Ideen. Vor Kurzem habe ich etwas ganz Cooles entdeckt (im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes). Ja, ihr habt richtig gelesen :D Ich musste auch erstmal meine Augen reiben, als ich Merle von Schnürsenkelrolltreppentod in meiner Kommentarbox zum ersten Mal entdeckte hatte. Der Name hat mich so neugierig gemacht, dass ich sofort auf den Link klicken musste. (Eine Bestätigung dafür, dass ungewöhnliche Blog-Namen wirklich ziehen!).

Erwartet habe ich -wenn man nach dem Namen gehen müsste- einen Blog mit einem Hauch Depri-Flair. Ganz im Gegenteil. Wenn es einen Ausdruck wie das Wunderbare-Amèlie-Syndrom geben würde, dann würde ich ihren Blog so beschreiben. Den Film mit Audrey Tautou kennt jedes Mädchen. Was für ein Feeling übermannt euch, wenn ihr ihn schaut?! Ich sag nur eins dazu: "La vie en rose, man sieht das Leben auf einmal nur durch die rosarote Brille!". Schnürsenkelrolltreppentod vermittelt mir auch so ein Feeling. Ihre Bilder: Ohne Worte.

Merle's Gefühl für schöne Farbkompositionen, Fotolocations und kleine Details, ist etwas, was man nicht erlernen kann.

Anhand ihres Kleidungsstils würde sie glatt als "La petite francaise" durchgehen. Ihr kleinen Kleidchen, Schühchen und Täschchen sind einfach mignonne, formidable et chic ;) Ihre unterschiedlichen Flechtfrisuren unterstreichen nochmal ihre entzückenden Outfits und inspirieren dazu mal selbst Hand anzulegen. Flechtfrisuren passen nämlich zu jedem Stil, also schaut euch doch mal was bei ihr ab ;)

... dann gibt es da noch ihren Freund ;) Man sieht ihn auch ab und an in ihrem Blog als schwarzen Lockenkopf in Erscheinung treten, doch allzu viel erfährt man nicht von ihm. Wenn er aber mal auftaucht, dann in einem Foto, wo er ihre Nasenspitze küsst (davon gibt es so 5-6 Fotos!). Er passt in ihren Blog, wie der Eiffelturm nach Paris :)

So ein zauberhafter Blog muss unterstützt werden, damit er sich weiterhin entfalten kann... Wir müssen sie motivieren regelmäßiger zu bloggen (hast du gehört Merle?!). Also los Leute, überschüttet sie mit Liebe :P

My attempt with silver nail tattoos yesterday didn't work out. Sad, sad, sad (thanks for your tipps btw!). But then I tried something new: Half moon nail designs. Ohhhh... wonderful! I love it and I will try it out in every colour now :) PS: I made a wonderful shooting today with Özi ♥

Mein gestriger Versuch silberne Nagel-Tattoos auf meine Fingernägel zu kleben ist kläglich gescheitert. Traurig, trotzdem danke für all eure Tipps! Ich habe mich schnell getröstet. Notlösung: Nailart-Halbmond-Verzierungen. Bin so begeistert und werde nun jede Farbe ausprobieren ;) PS: Heute gab's ein Fotoshooting mit Özi ♥

silver nail tattoos

I came home and I did some manicure. I took some silver nail tattoos out of my cupboard and placed them on my nails- big fail! Actually I am workmanlike but the silver nail tattoos freaked me out, everything came out so wrinkly. They should look like a mirror, but in my case they looked like a balled up aluminium foil.
Now I have to drink some calming tea (I hate if something doesn't work out). It looks like today I have to consider myself satisfied with some boring nail polish. Does anybody have experiences with silver nail tattoos?!

Gutgelaunt habe ich heute Maniküre gemacht. Danach habe ich meine silberne Nagel-Tattoos hervorgekramt und meine Nägel damit dekoriert - FAIL! Es ist nicht so, dass ich handwerklich unbegabt bin, aber die Nagel-Tattoos haben mich auf die Palme gebracht! Eigentlich müssten sie glatt wie ein Spiegel sein, doch bei mir sahen sie aus wie zusammengeknäulte Aluminiumfolie. Ich brauch erstmal 'nen Beruhigungstee (Ich hasse, wenn irgendwas nicht klappt!). Heute muss ich mich wohl mit einem 08/15-Lack zufriedengeben. Hat jemand von euch Erfahrungen mit silbernen Nagel-Tattoos gemacht?!
