An update of sorts; Its been a while since I've posted anything. Reason? I've been extremely busy with various projects, I'm also working on the next model. As you can see the next one is a 737-800. Attached, is a work in progress pics in case anyone finds these sort of images interesting :)

Air Asia A350-900

The background for this image was actually taken aboard an Airasia flight from MEL-KUL. While those seats are a little slim, the flight itself was rather impressive. Good tasty food + a 20minute early arrival = a wonderful experience. Airasia are apparently starting Tokyo flights sometime in the second half of 2010, while they won't be on the A350 just yet, its a destination that's great to look forward to

Hope everyone had a great new years break. To kick things off, here's a Royal Brunei A350.
Even though the design of this aircraft has taken a rather conservative turn, I thought I'd use the old design. I think the nose and cockpit arrangement on the old design is much more unique and gives the A350 a nice aesthetic. Tell me what you think! new or old ?

But our next one comes from Katja Sapic. The P500 was part of a large group of concepts for the Airbus A380. Featuring essentially 2 fuselage's merged together, this is one of the more interesting concepts seen.

At last count Virgin Atlantic had ordered 6 frames with options on an additional 6.
With 4 or so being deferred, lets hope it wont take too long for things to pick up again.

A blast from the past - Boeing NLA

As you may recall, Boeing started designing a 'new large aircraft' back in the 90's. This concept was to be powered by 4 high-bypass turbofan engines rated at 310kN each and have a range of 9,086 miles. With a capacity of around 606 passengers, this would have been a worthy contender to the A380. What looks to be a double decker 777 with 4 engines, this giant never seemed to make it past the drawing board. Michael Lleces has requested the NLA wearing a slightly updated version of the United Airlines livery.

Ok, to kick things off, we have a request from Tim Robinson.
Tim so elegantly puts it "How about an A380 in Ryanair colours? – 900 people across the Atlantic for £100 return – but you have to buy your own sandwiches!"
Well Tim, I think the Ryanair colours don't look half bad on the A380. What does everyone else think? Feel free to comment on what you like or would like to see!
