Another overdue post...goodness I need to get better about blogging. This shoot was taken over the summer. I met Rosey and her adorable babies at a park near their house. I had fun chasing Parker around some and posing Madelyn who is so photogenic. I hope you enjoy the pictures below as much as I enjoyed taking them!

A few weekends ago I got the opportunity to take pictures of the Eason family again. The weather was beautiful and luckily the leaves were in their prime. Those two combined with this good looking family means I was able to capture some beautiful pictures! Or at least I think so. See below...

Baby Makenna

Again this post is WAY overdue but I had to post it because these pictures turned out too cute! I'm sure you remember my last post about the Pike maternity shoot but this was our newborn shoot for baby Makenna. Seriously she is such a beautiful baby! And the poor thing only cried a few times. Pike Maternity Photoshoot!

So a few months back I had the pleasure of working with Ivy and Richard to do their maternity pictures before baby Makenna arrived in July! Ivy and Richard are so cute together and I could just feel their excitement to meet their baby girl. Below are some of my favorites from the shoot.

Ivy said these shoes were the first thing she bought for Makenna. I thought they were so sweet!

Seriously these two make such a cute couple!

I loved the outfits that they had on. I loved the bright colors but they complimented each other perfectly!

Seriously Ivy is one of the cutest pregnant ladies I've ever seen!

These burlap banners were made for a baby shower but how adorable they turned out to be for the shoot too!

The Daltons

A few weeks ago I got to photograph the Eason family. I'm sure you remember Ben from a few posts ago(If you don't, you should check it out because he's so cute!). We did the pictures at Cherie's house because it was crazy raining outside. At first I was a little nervous about doing them inside but once we got rolling I knew we were going to have some adorable shots. It's hard not to with such a great group of people who make it super easy to take their pictures! Here's a few of my favorites from the shoot...

Twilight!

So last year I went to Twilight in Athens, GA. It's the most amazing thing I'd ever seen as far as bike racing goes. There's so much going on from racing to BMX bikers, to a street fair-so much to do all in one day! Actually over the course of the weekend but I was only there for one day. Baby Ben

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of taking pictures of baby Ben. He's such a sweet baby and was completely calm. When he smiled he lit up the room and made everyone who was with him smile as well. I also got to photograph the family dog Bailey who was the best behaved dog I've ever been around. So last December I was so blessed to have multiple shoots. Lots of people booked for Christmas cards. This was actually the first shoot of the "Christmas Card season". I'd like to share pictures of one of my best friends and her sweet sweet family.

Amy and Blake's Engagement Session

I don't know if you remember the Dale family or not from a previous shoot but I'm so excited to say that they're expecting another baby:D. And it's a GIRL! Baby Chloe is going to be joining us in September and I can't wait to meet her. We did a few family/pregnancy photos before she gets here:)

Parker's First Birthday!

So over Easter break my sister came home from college. We normally take an absurd amount of pictures anyways but I wanted to try something new that I've been wanting to do for some new clients. Medium Format Film-Test Run 1

I got a Holga camera for Christmas last year and was beyond excited to start taking pictures with it. I didn't waste any time getting film loaded and taking the pictures...I just waiting forEVer to get all my filmed developed. Lesson learned-you shouldn't wait to get your film developed because you forget what you took pictures of. Or maybe this is a good thing because then you'll be surprised like I was. Below are some of my shots that I took over the course of last year with the medium format film!

Seeing these pictures developed makes me realize that I'm definitely still in the learning curve part of this process but I also realized I'm more than excited to keep shooting with this camera. Hope you all enjoyed and are having a good weekend!

The Bowman Family

So continuing in the theme from last week, I'm posting something shot last year but that I never got around to posting. I used to work with Lauren (aka Mommy of the Bowman boys). She's sweet as can be and I was so excited that she asked me to take pictures of her whole family for their Christmas card. I shot pictures of two of her boys back in July or August right after Jack was born. Here's a few shots from the day that were my favorites...

The Camaro

So over the summer while we were at the beach, my uncle and I went off on a morning photoshoot. Over the past couple of years this has become a tradition for us to take off on our own and take pictures together and it's become one of my favorite parts of going to the beach. This summer we decided the subject of the shoot was going to be my uncle's new Camaro. I'll let most of the pictures do the talking...

I love this one because the car looks like a toy size car haha

This one reminds me of Speed Racer. BTW if you haven't seen that movie you should. I love it.
