Lately, this is what the people are crazy for after Minions- Tesco's My Heroes and Friends! They are now "station" in my company Christmas Decoration corner. We are in short of "Woody". These heroes and friends are waiting patiently for Woody to join in! #MyHeroesMyFriends Hopefully my colleague is able to bring Woody home soon to make it a Happy Family for this coming Christmas!

Anyway, is this Thor a limited addition to #MyHeroesMyFriends? Anyone knows? I read this post in facebook group where one of the facebookers shared this with people.

Hollister Customer Service- Thumbs Up!

I have ordered Hollister items online two weeks ago when they were still offering free shipping. This was my first time online shopping in another country. The goods arrived a week after. I was impressed with the efficiency. I bought two Graphic Tee and the rest of the items belong to my friends. The printing of one of the T-shirts I bought wasn't perfect/ there was a defect on the printing. Initially I though it was a vintage design. But after few days, I felt not comfortable with it. So I decided to email Hollister to ask and I'm suprised to receive the repsonse the next day which is less than 12 hours.

"It's part of our vintage, distressed look"
"If this ain't the look for you, please feel free to return the t-shirt to us."

Very efficient in response to customer's enquiry. Feel great after receing thier response with explanation. Now, i feel much better with it. :)

承蒙马佛青总会槟州联委会主席的厚爱，小弟在2013正式接手担当马佛青总会槟城国民服务计划总协调。也因此开始认识了解国民服务计划。担任此职位对我而言是一项充满挑战性的职务。对佛法知识略懂一二的我，偶尔也让我伤透了脑筋。槟城一共有4个营地即槟岛-Kem Sri Mutiara 及 Kem White Resort 和威省 Kem Syruz 及 Kem Sri Impian 。

每逢星期三或四，在4个营地里服役的佛教徒营员都会如常上马佛青佛所安排的佛学课程。这我门称它为内营 (In-Camp)。而每个星期日是由佛教会接待外营（Out-Camp)。为了解决浮罗山背海音佛教会缺乏外营接待义工，每个月2次连同我的好帮手-国民服务计划小组秘书敏祥一起“上山”接待2小时的外营。当然，不只是我们两个，偶尔还有热心的义工朋友（负责团康手语）也会前来协助代课。感恩所有讲师，协调员，接待员，义工朋友的鼎力支持以让国民服务计划内外营成功顺利的举办。愿大家平安吉祥。阿弥陀佛！

淡水必吃- 阿给

来到淡水除了到哪儿逛淡水老街，卖铁蛋，游情人桥之外一定不可错过的当然非阿给所属。阿给是道地著名的美食。一定要停下脚步来尝一尝。

「阿給，是台灣新北市淡水區有名的小吃之一。阿給的做法是將油豆腐的中間挖空，然後填充炒過的冬粉（有些店家使用的是沒有炒過的冬粉）、浸泡過滷汁，以魚漿封口，加以蒸熟，食用前淋上甜辣醬或其他特殊醬汁。」

这一趟，我们试了道地人介绍的阿给-真理街三姐妹阿给。口味还不赖。超喜欢那辣味。一个35元。我们还点了虾仁炒饭及馄饨汤。那炒饭美味又可口。如果逛饿了，不妨到这一家享用午餐。

身为一名年轻选民，我们到底是投党还是投人？
在现今的马来西亚政治，选民大多数的华人都是投党不投人。

今天民主行动党在社团登记局的「压力」下，没有其他选择，只有以盟党的党旗竞选。
对这样的对待下，到底行动党会处于恶势还是优势呢？

那就的看人民对伊党的影像了。
如果马华继续打「宗教恐吓」牌＂，妖魔化伊党，那年长的一倍多多少少也会被吓到。
原本给火箭投的那一票也顿时间转换给国阵。
这对行动党来说是一项极大的挑战。
接下来两个星期，行动党候选人及竞选团队就要把握时间，向选民解释。

换个角度来看，如果华人选民知道及接受的话，那就弄巧反拙。
我相信马来选票也会因为在伊党党旗竞选而为候选人投下神圣的一票。
我也相信同情票也会往民联跑。

到底社团登记局不承认行动党最高领导层的决定是对还是错，那五月五自有揭晓！

Lately, we saw lot of people sharing this cute bento lunch set on Facebook....
So, time for us to share with others!
We placed or order over its website.
The bosses are friendly and they reply email promptly!
Food is ok, not bad. Just the green tea doesn't look like green tea.
May be it was made in china so I'm lack of confidence over the tea bag that comes with the bento set. Overall, very presentable with reasonable price. You may like to have a try too! They will deliver to your door step. Only weekdays. Search MyLoelyLunch to find our more!

When you mention about Chee Cheong Fun with a special sauce mix with Peanut Butt Sauce, there is none other than Genting Cafe Chee Cheong Fun @ Island Glades!
Have you eaten before? This is something special comparing to other Chee Cheng Fun.
If you are a peanut butter lover, I'm sure you gonna in love with this plate of Chee Cheong Fun that costs you RM 1.70 only.

It has been sometime since my last visit to IKEA PJ.
I like to dine in its cafeteria. They are not only selling good food but they are selling at a reasonable price. Imagine if IKEA is in Penang, I'm sure a lot of working adults and students will have another choice of budget meal. This is what we have ordered during my trip down to KL last Saturday. We left nothing but the eating utensils.

This is my every Sunday Breakfast at Balik Pulau since January 2013.
I'm proud to say that the boss also recognise me and MX and know what will we ordered.
Haha.... Of course Hokkien Mee (Prawn Noodles) itself isn't enough for us. It is perfectly served with Roasted Pork that sold by the stall next to Hokkien Mee. RM 2.70 with RM 5.00 roasted Pork= Awesome Breakfast! It is located next to old market at Balik Pulau!

Lately, there are a lot of heritage building cafe established in Georgetown Penang. Goh Ka Ki (五脚基）is yet another hanging out chi chatting place for the people. It is a place to recall your childhood memories with the games and the decorations the have In-house. Personally, I like the fighting fish they placed on each dining table in the cafe. Is kind of fun to see the fishes swim freely in the bottle they are in. You may also choose to play your childhood games while having a cup of coffee or tea like congkak, card games, etc. these are our childhood games which are hardly to be found now. In f&b line, service is the priority and goh Ka ki has meet me expectations! Again, they have friendly staffs who greet you and explain to you their cafe as well. Will come back one day too :)

Budget and Nice Guest House in Kyoto- Khaosan Kyoto Guest House

During my last trip to Kyoto, Japan, I was recommended by Kok Hong to stay in Khaosan Kyoto Guest House. I stayed for 3days 2nights and it costs me not more than RM 200. I was staying in dormitory type with 6 persons sharing. Is a double deck. I was expecting how terrible it would be like the one I stayed in Taipei-Taipei Hostel. This is away better and the only term I can describe is "awesome". I'm kind of a guy who doesn't like to stay in those guest house which is not hygiene. Surprisingly, I have no worry for Khaosan Kyoto!

They have friendly English staffs who AR ready to serve you and of course answer all your question! So don't worry of language barrier. They speak fluent English by the way. Taka-San was the one who attended my Facebook message before I came to Japan. I felt thankful for meeting a great guy like him. Of course, the whole tip in Japan wouldn't be a great one without my bro Kok Hong who helped us to plan and arrange.

If you are planning a trip to Kyoto, don't worry and fell frustrated where to stay. The only answer is Khaosan Kyoto! http://www.khaosan-tokyo.com/en/kyoto check their website out for details. You can reach the hostel in just a few minutes from the train station. You will find this place great too because it is located in the central part of Kyoto. Just a few minutes walk you will be able to visit few awesome tourist attractions.

I will definitely come back one day to have my stay with them again! That's for the great hospitality!

Xin Yun Long Resturant- Renowned Ipoh White Coffee

Have you Tried the aromatic taste of the renowned Ipoh White Coffee served by the Xin Yun Loong Restaurant (新源隆) before? If you are looking for breakfast in Ipoh with a cup of authentic ipoh white coffee, you are recommended to visit this restaurant/ cafe in ipoh old town. It is thick and of course the taste is awesome if you compare with 3in1 in sachet packaging.

Managed to have my breakfast once again at one of the very local cafe.
The cafe itself also serve Custard Egg and Roti Bakar. You may order Chee Cheong Fun, Roasted and Barbecue Pork, Yong Tau Fu Noodle etc too.

As a Penangnite, I would say Penang Hawker Food is cheaper than Ipoh's. I guess most of the famous foods in Ipoh have overpriced due to popular demand by tourist... A plate of Chee Cheong Fun (just a plain one) costs RM 3.00, doubled the price in Penang. By the way, their Chee Cheong Fun is totally different from ours. They have their own sauce and serving. You may order special one which will serve with Pork Skin. of course it will cost more than RM 3.

Next trip, I'm going to look for other kind of breakfast in Ipoh. I have tried Dim Sum, Ipoh Hor Fun and Chee Cheong Fun as breakfast. hopefully there are other kind which is tasty and famous.

I have attended this event with Edwin Khor yesterday.
I was impressed with their creativity on the opening as well as welcoming performance.
At least this is something fresh and new.
Meeting up with ex members from the club in this event too.
They were active member but they are no longer a leo member now.
What's the problem? Hmmmmmm
Anyway friendship is still there even though you are not a leo!

Japan Visa Application process- What to Prepare?

Visiting Japan is always my choice of vacation since year 2006 after I had participated in the youth exchange program under Lions Club International to Wakayama, Japan. It has been 6 years. Time flies pretty fast. I guess is time to visit Japan again! It is not a budget trip even though you are on backpack. Everything in Japan is pricey. I gonna spend wisely for this vacation and hopefully the weather isn't abnormal. Exactly, one more month to go!

Finally I have submitted the required documents together with Visa Application form successfully to the Consulate-General of Japan Penang. The office is at Level 28, Menara BHL, No.51 Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, 10050 Penang (Contact: 04-226-3030)

Let share some of the important process of applying Visa.

If you are staying with your Malaysian friend in Japan, the below documents are required for Visa Approval:
1. A copy of Alien Registration
2. A copy of his/her passport (optional but advise to prepare)
3. An invitation letter (optional but advise to prepare)

On the other hands, you have to ensure the below mandatory documents to be submitted together:

1. A copy of your Passport (for collection of your passport when the visa is approved)
2. Your passport
3. Flight Itinerary
4. Travel Itinerary (optional but advise to prepare)
5. A copy of your Personal Savings (2 months record) / Fixed Deposit
6. Visa application form
7. A photo (4.5cm x 4.5cm) with white background which is taken within 6 months
8. Employment Letter

hopefully, the above piece of information helps those who are travelling as backpacker!

Gong Cha Winter Melon Tea is Awesome!

Fiona and Cash were telling me how good and how nice Gong Cha Winter Melon Tea is during the time when i was in rush to catch my flight at LCCT back to Penang! While on the way, Cash stopped by one of the outlet. That time was just 20 minute left before the Gate closed. I was panic and worried that I might miss the flight. but now, I wouldn't feel regret for trying the this! haha This is another "Taiwanese" drink that worth for a try. The milk + wintermelon tea is simply unique and awesome! Just realize, there is a brand new outlet in PENANG Gurney Plaza in November! Cool! At least I know where to head to when I wish to drink now! Is getting competitive for this line of business nowadays... I always foresee the most the can last is just 2 to 3 years! What do you think?

We had ordered few and one of my favorite is none other than the one shown above- Petai Fried Rice! I love Petai very much. It satisfied my lovely appetite and yet wasn't heavy in my tummy.
