Este niño bonito, cuyo ultimo disco se denomina Watergate, destaca por un chispeante minimal. Ha participado en los festivales de música electrónica más importantes del mundo, presentando unos sets en los que la selección musical siempre ha estado a la altura de lo que la pista de baile ha esperado de él.
El tech-house de Funke, que no le hace ascos al ingrediente pop en sus producciones, puede rastrearse sin desperdicio en los sellos ya mencionados, pues la melodía es definitivamente el hilo conductor de un ritmo tan irresistible como preciso.

En 1998, Cristian recibe el primer premio en el festival “New alent Festival” en la sección de música electrónica, y en 1999 recibe el primer premio como “Best House” en el “Klub Bizarre”, concurso de “Atomic TV”. Con un evidente lado artístico, su filosofía a mediados de los 90 era “la música es la mejor droga”, el cual evolucionó en el nuevo milenio a “el amor es el mensaje”.
Pasados los 90´s, era de performances en vivo, el nuevo millenio lo muestra como dj performance, y con más trabajo en el estudio. Durante un período, compone bandas sonoras para películas, y en 2005 decide ofrecer su música al mundo.
Sin duda uno de los grandes productores de este momento.
