Japanese Culture Week is coming soon!!!!!!

Here we have Japanese Language Fair that going to be held from

1st Feb to 5th Feb 2010,

so let's see what we have for the week =)

1st Feb: Cooking Workshop
-referring to the menu above, we have two sets of delicious Japanese food to be taught during the workshop, choose your favourite set and learn to cook it with us!!!^^

(Set 1: RM19 & Set 2: RM16)
2nd Feb: Origami and Furoshiki Workshop
-origami is the art of paper folding, you will learn to fold and understand why it has now become a beloved artform for people around the world!
-Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth, it is used for gift wrapping or grocery shopping. =)
(RM 4 per person)

3rd Feb: Yukata Workshop

- Yukata is the Japanese summer cotton kimono worn by man and women. In yukata class you will learn how to wear it and tie yukata belt (Obi) that will be wrapped around the waist wear with the yukata. Photo will be given to each participants to prove the great learning experience you went through! =)

4th Feb: Sewing Workshop

-this is a new workshop of Japanese doll sewing, the class will include some instructions on the sewing patterns too. Here's your great chance to make your own keychain Japanese doll!^^
(RM 6 per person)
5th Feb: Japanese Conversation Workshop

-Join Japanese Conversation Workshop just with RM2! We have Japanese teacher in this workshop to help students to be more confident in Japanese speaking as well as learning more about the language and Japanese culture!

-Here we have a session for those who have no basics in Japanese and another session for those who have basics in Japanese;)

Session 2: 8.30p.m.- 10.00p.m.

在现实人的生活中，

他们的心事就如在手上的重物，

在繁忙的生活里提着过活。

一旦时间久了，

手也酸了。

人也不经意拜托身边的朋友，

帮忙分担手上提着的重物，

好让自己轻松一些。

在没人帮忙的环境里，

也要学会如何放下。

既然我们不喜欢提着重物，

那为何我们却喜欢带着烦恼，

过着我们的生活呢？

想想看，

手酸痛了，放下就好了。

对待烦恼，也不是一样？

或是那些烦恼，就像重物一样，

用我们自己的双手把它举起来呢？

自己尝试看，

一手举起有重量的东西，

一边想着事情，

当手酸了，

自然会放下手上的东西。

然而，我们能不能也学到，

当心累了，

就把心事给放下来？

我们能很容易得放下有形的重物，

却很难放下无形的重担。

切记，

執着的人生，会让自己承担莫需有的重担。

学习放下執着，也就在学习人生自在！

要知道，

能解决的事，不必去担心。

不能解决的事，但心也没用。

在顺境中感恩，在逆境中依旧心存欢乐

An update requested by ah girl, any topic will do~ >.<

Wai Kit is my friend since primary school. We have know each others for more than 12 years. One month ago, I had met him at Mahkota Parade, Melaka and he told me that he was going to engage on 20th of September, 2009 at Seremban. A GREAT news from him because he is the first guy who going to engage among the friends I know. Happy for you, bro~

So on that day, few of us (yong jia, sze qi, tze chuen, ivy) were attended the ceremony. Both of them were signed on the marriage certificate in front of our witness. The atmosphere was filled with the joy and blesses from friends,relatives and families.

CNC Simulator

To all my friends who don't know how to use the CNC simulator, please follow the instruction here.

1. download and unzip the cnc.rar

2. open CncSimulator

3. for a demostration, go load any programmed code from the sample

4. once the code is loaded, press the simulation button (the one under the PIPE)

5. there will be a pop up box which contain another 3 button. First as "simulate all code", second as "simulate next code's line" and third as "stop simulation"

6. this is the outcome^^

The mechanism and complexity of the engine parts had got my attention on it. I was planned to draw something like this but the it's too hard to get all the dimension precisely. I hope someone, perhaps the manufacturer can provide me the dimension of every single part in engine so I can proceed with my design? Haha...

I just went back from Chen Hui 21st Birthday party. We had played few mind games, which took us long time to figure it out. First was the pointing game by Pravin. He started to point people and then we need to guess out who was the person. After an hour later, only 2 out of 10 people understood it. Damn jackass wey....

Next was the Moon game by Tong, a mind game with statement that required the alphabet in our name.. LOL... Then count game and lastly, the most amazing and tiring game, the Black Magic. Desmond Tong got trapped in this so-called "Black Magic" game for half year. He would't knew the answer till tonight.. Sien la wey... Being fooled for almost one and half hour....

Ok, proceed to next!

JLS would like to inform all members that we will be having our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on next Monday ( 13/7/2009 ).The details of the AGM are as followed:

my brother dated with his gf WINNIE NG CHAI SAN for 2 years , and last week she asked for break up and said that is my bro fault so she wanted to break up,asked him not to sms or call her anymore , and yesterday my bro went to her house and her housemate opened the door for him coz she's not there, my brother waited for sometime coz she does't want to pick up the call, so he decided to use her laptop to online , who knows the msg history popped out , she actually dating with the other guy for the past 12 months , and they travel to oversea together , she some more travel with the so-called boy friend family !!! You know what , she travel to Hong Kong with the guy on last year , and also she actually travel to Bali island with my brother in April 2009 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WORST IS she told my brother she went to hong kong with her cousin , my brother just wanted to see some hong kong pic , wanna know hows her trip , but she doesn't want to show , just now he opened her laptop pcitures folder , all the pictures took with that guy .

Then , i found out that she asked my brother to put SINGLE status in facebook , coz her ' BF ' in her facebook list as well.

And found out that she has 2 friendster account , the other secret account purposely for that guy!!!! That account have all the pictures with that guy , travelling , singapore trip , hong kong trip , some more checked out that that guy friendster account have his gf pic somemore photo caption " My dear girl friend " .

I found out all the picture and msn chat log in her com , no wonder she never pick up my brother's phone call , because the girl is in Singapore until today 7pm , BF working in there.

And i guess she love singapore so much , coz msn history have all the chat log the guy some more got say , dear coming this weekend , bitch some more answer said u want i go i will go, which MEAN MY BROTHER WAITING FOR THE WHOLE DAY IN HER ROOM BUT SHE DATING WITH THE GUY IN SINGAPORE !

you know what i found out on today , winnie's brother actually know about it , their msn conversation

winnie : i broke up with the kl one
her bro : then what about the singapore one
winnie : i don't know , will see how
her bro : So what about the butterworth one
Winnie : 80% , recently he didn't contact me

For your information , that bitch went back to her hometown penang for industry training for the past 6 months , that was this one guy staying in penang , he fetch her go to work come back and all . So there goes the butterworth guy . 3 person from 3 different location........

Have you ever heard Golden Temple in your life? Again, it's a temple made by GOLD!

It's Rokuon-ji Temple aka the Golden Pavilion at Kyoto, Japan!

Rokuon-ji Temple, is included in World Heritage list in Japan that only can be classified by UNESCO

Golden Pavilion in Autumn

Rokuon - ji Temple was originally built as a villa by Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, who had taken possession of a mountain villa of Saionji Temple in 1397. It was converted into a temple after Yoshimitsu's death. Officially named Rokuonji Temple, this temple is famous both in Japan and abroad as a symbol of Kitayama culture. The Kinkaku, or "Golden Pavilion," was built as the Shariden. Covered with gold, the image of the pavilion, which stands at the edge of Kyokochi pond, is reflected in the water. Major repair work performed in 1987 has further enhanced its brilliance.

Golden Pavilion in winter

Since the fire in 1950, the Golden Pavilion shines beautifully with its newly recovered gold leaves. While many people prefer the sober Golden Pavilion with its faded color, others say that the godliness is beautiful. Before the incendiary fire in 1950, there were no gold leaves which covered the Golden Pavilion. The gold leaves, which must have shone when it was first built, gradually faded off, leaving a refined appearance. It is said to have looked just like the Ginkaku-ji temple today. Before the reconstruction, visitors mainly came to see the gardens and never took pictures of the shining Golden Pavilion as they do today. They went up into the building, which we are not allowed to do today, and looked out over the gardens. There were passageways upstairs where one could see the panoramic view of the Ashihara-jima island, Kusenhakkai-seki rock, Yodomari-ishi rock, Akamatsu-ishi rock, Hatakeyama-ishi rock, Tsuru-jima island, Kame-jima island and the Yonaki-ishi rock from up there.

Three floors of the Golden Pavilion:
The first floor of the Golden Pavilion, a three story building which faces the mirror pond, is called "Hosui-in". This building, which was built in the palace style, was used for meetings and entertainment.

The second floor is called "Chouon-dou", built in the Samurai style, and enshrines the Kannon.

Golden Pavilion Third Floor

The third floor is called "Kutsukyocho", built in the Zen-temple style, and enshrines the Buddha.

The Golden Phoenix (Top Floor)

The Golden Pavilion harmonizes these three different styles marvelously. The Hogyo style roof is covered by thin wood dust called Kokera-buki, and on top of the roof, shines a golden Chinese phoenix. The second and third floor are covered with gold leaves. It is considered as a harmonious mixture of the Heian noble, Samurai, and Buddhist cultures. The mixture of Japanese, Indian, and Chinese styles known at that time, there exists an original architectural beauty. The Golden Pavilion is the oldest of all the many-storied buildings of which the third story can still be used.

There are many ingenious devices in the structure of the Golden Pavilion. For example, the Golden Pavilion retains a bright image by making the pillars and structures of the building slender, and giving the roof, made from Japanese cypress covered by thin wood dust, a gentle slope. Also, four pillars in the South instead of six, emphasizes the wide and open verandah. There are no roofs between the first and second floor, but the Golden Pavilion still manages its proportion by the surrounding verandah, and the gold leaves which cover only the second floor. There is also a slope change due to the rectangular shaped first floor compared to the square shaped third floor, making the ridge of the roof not 45 degrees.

However, the building is still very well-balance, and this shows how this building has such a rare but brilliant design.

Bunch of assignments, midterm test and event (Career Fair) are fall in April. Another extremely busy month to go in April. What I could expected more since I want to involve in it...

When I was resting at home around 6pm, I had received a call from Malay guy.

Guy: Hello, boleh saya cakap dengan Encik Heng Kang Yong?
Me: Yea...
Guy: Saya panggil dari Digi. Adakah encik memiliki no.telephone ini, 016-754XXXX.
Me: Yea, apasal? (supplementary line that under my name but used by someone)
Guy: Oh, no.telephone tu telah menghutangi Digi sebanyak RM126. Kami perlu encik bayar sebelum hari Sabtu ini.
Me: Oh my god... Sebelum tu digunakan oleh ex saya, tapi sekarang tiada lagi. Bolehkah dia bayar dan memotong telephone line itu?
Guy: Macam ni tak boleh sebab telephone line itu ialah under nama awak. Kalau ada apa-apa masalah, kami akan cari pemilik talian tersebut. Sekarang, kamu perlu bayar dan line tu hanya boleh dibatalkan oleh kamu sahaja.
Me: Aiks.. Okies la... Then saya akan pergi bayar besok... Thanks for inform.
Guy: Sama-sama!

That's the story how I gonna lost my RM126.

10 hours left to the last paper before Midterm break begin. I better put my concentration on it... Ciao~
