MILLIONS EXPECTED IN TOMORROW'S PEACEFUL INTERNATIONAL QUDS DAY MARCHES ACROSS THE COUNTRY

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) has been in the forefront in observing the Quds Day which is well attended by both Muslims and non-Muslims alike on the last Friday of Ramadan for several decades now. This year's event is set to hold tomorrow Friday 28 Ramadan, 1437 equivalent to 23 June, 2017.

The IMN hereby call on all people of conscience to join in commemorating this annual event by lending a voice to the oppressed people of Palestine, while condemning the Israeli atrocities on them. It is scheduled to take place in over 24 cities across the country, and all are invited to attend.

The Day is commemorated based on conscience and not only on religious consideration as victims of Zionism and illegal occupation of Palestine include Muslims and Christians alike. Moreover pro-Palestinian protest marches such as this are organized in all parts of the world including Europe and America to mark the International Quds Day.

The third holiest mosque in Islam, Masjid al Aqsa is under the occupation of the Zionist Israeli regime following the illegal occupation of Palestine by Israel. The holy mosque of al-Aqsa is the place through which the holy Prophet of Islam Muhammad (SAWA) undertook his night journey when he ascended to the heavens as mentioned in the holy Quran.

The illegal state of Israel had unleashed terror on the innocent but strong-hearted people of Palestine for the past 60 years, killing unarmed men, women and children, demolishing their houses and placing thousands in illegal detention and torture.

All these are taking place before the very eyes of the world but for reasons best known to them, the international community is simply looking the other way as this state terrorism is taking place with what could best be described as genocide against the people of Palestine.

Left without any help or assistance from the so-called world powers while Israel is dealing deadly blow on the Palestinians, whose lands it had occupied, the entire populace were left to themselves against the terror-laden state of Israel.

It is against this background that the leader of Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ayatullah Ruhullah Khomeini declared the last Friday of every month of Ramadan for people of conscience across the globe to express their support for the Palestinian course and condemn the illegal occupation of Palestine by Israel.

We will also like to seize this opportunity to call on the Nigerian government to immediately and unconditionally release the revered leader of the IMN, His Eminence, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, who has been most active in this course of struggle for humanity and who in the past lost his children in the cause of this struggle for Palestinian freedom. Today is the 588 days he spent in detention despite a substantive court order for his release.

Dissection of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry Report

Having gone through the executive summary of the Judicial Commission (JUDCOM) of Inquiry into the Zaria massacre one cannot but reject the report as absurd, biased & unacceptable. The report essentially blamed the victims when their own side of the story was never heard. This is absurdity taken to new heights. The report even went as far as to ‘indict’ Shaikh Zakzaky without hearing his side of the story. This must be a new peak of injustice ever.
A quick dissection of the “report” shows that it is filled with so many fallacies and we have to sieve the grains from the chaff. Overall, it is a complete charade. We must unmask the criminals responsible for the genocide.
From their opening paragraph, the Kaduna state Judicial Commission of Inquiry clearly indicated where they lean when they stated that: “In December 12thto 14th2015, hundreds of people were killed in Zaria following clashes between the Nigerian Army (NA) and the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN).” The assumption here is that what happened that eventful weekend was a clash, and they repeatedly use the word to make everyone accept that it was a clash.
Let us analyse their recommendations as given in the Executive Summary. The so-called recommendations are in bold typeface and our remarks follow each recommendation:

*THE KADUNA STATE GOVERNMENT*
i) *Considering the nature and organizational structure of the IMN, where the leader has the total control over the members, Sheikh Ibraheem EI-Zakzaky should be personally held responsible for all the acts of commission and omission of the entire membership of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria in its clashes with the Nigerian Army for refusing to call his members to order when required to do so.*

This is most unfair. This recommendation was based on alleged phone calls by Governor or some military officers. Shaikh Zakzaky was not given the chance to either confirm or refute that he received any phone call. It is gross miscarriage of justice to indict someone (victim) based on what one party (in this case the assailant) said. By virtue of Section 36 (2) of the Nigerian Constitution, no government can hold anyone guilty of any offence or wrongdoing without affording him or her an opportunity to react to the allegation. Shaikh Zakzaky has been denied access to his lawyers and was effectively denied a voice at the JUDCOM.

ii) *All incidents of violence and aggression by the members of the IMN against individuals, groups or communities, which have resulted in grievous bodily harm, destruction of properties and deaths, should be fully investigated and culprits brought to book. Where appropriate, compensations should be paid.*

This is yet another example of travesty of justice. There was nowhere in the report that showed any incident of proven violence and aggression by members of the IMN against individuals, groups or communities. In the course of the public hearing, some paid agents were contracted to throw spurious allegations against the IMN, including cases that had been long decided by appropriate courts up to appeal courts and settled in favour of IMN members. JUDCOM is swallowing everything thrown at it – line, hook and sinker – without making attempts at any verification.

iii) *The State Government should investigate and repossess all illegally acquired public lands from IMN and utilize same for Public Interest.*

This recommendation has no basis in their report. There was never an instance where IMN was shown to have illegally acquired public lands. So how does the state government investigate an offence that has not been committed? Clearly, this is part of the original hidden agenda and pre-doctored report handed to the JUDCOM by those with vested interests in our property. It is noteworthy that the Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai had similarly alleged the same in his ill-fated state broadcast in the wake of the assault. At the public hearing however, he changed gear and alleged that the structures were so damaged that they posed public health hazards and that was why they were destroyed. The report had obviously forgotten to change this aspect of the report to toe the new official position.

iv) *IMN should be made to conform to all constitutional requirements and the provisions of other by-laws in obtaining land, building or acquiring structures. It must conform to all building regulations, however, whenever and wherever it so desires to build or acquire land or property.*

This is just about similar to the last ‘conjecture’ by the JUDCOM. They never showed or proved that IMN did not conform to what they termed ‘all constitutional requirements’ in obtaining land, building or acquiring structures, yet they can ‘recommend’ this. What manner of Commission!

v) *All the dangerous weapons recovered from the IMN members should be turned over to the Police for further necessary action.*

This is yet another subtle but dangerous suggestion they call ‘recommendation’ by the JUDCOM. What dangerous weapons were recovered from IMN? They should have enumerated them for the world to see. The whole of the inquiry was a sham right from the outset. This recommendation is at variance with what they wrote in the main report on page 54, “The cordon and search however did not reveal significant quantities of weapons found. The assumption that the IMN in Zaria was heavily armed was not verified.”

vi) *The Government should deal with the IMN in accordance with the laws and regulations of the land and be made to conduct its activities and affairs within the ambit of the law at all times.*

This recommendation is ambiguous. How was the government dealing with the IMN? How does the conduct of activities by the IMN get out of the ambit of the law at any time? If they found any specific instance they should have mentioned.

vii) *Intelligence reports by security agencies regarding threats to security, law and order should be taken seriously and acted upon timeously to nip in the bud such occurrence.*

Their so-called intelligence reports should be based on facts and be the truth. The so-called intelligence community is the greatest threat to security, law and order. They concoct spurious stories and return them as ‘intelligence’ reports. We have seen several baseless allegations being ferried as intelligence.

viii) *Mechanism should be put in place for the proposed Bill on Religious Preaching to be passed into law as quickly as possible and implemented with a view to purging Religious Groups which embark on provocative teachings and preaching.*
Kaduna state governor has found a convenient way of re-introducing his controversial Bill on Religious Preaching. It really matters not to IMN whether or not it is passed into law as we all know the preachers who embark on provocative teachings and practices. The governor and the Nigerian Army in the wake of this massacre even engaged their services to justify the brutal assault.

ix) *Compensation should be paid to all those persons who complained before the Commission that their properties were either destroyed or damaged as a result of the clash.*

Another very laughable recommendation by the JUDCOM. Compensation to be paid to only those who complained before the JUDCOM? The government was responsible for all destruction and must be held to account by fully paying all compensations whether or not people complained. The government cannot destroy people’s property and expect them to beg to be paid compensation.

x) *The Government should make effort to reduce the number of idle hands that might otherwise be willing recruits for the Movement by providing employment to the teaming masses of the State.*

The Movement is not composed of “idle hands.” We can proudly state that no member of the IMN is a beggar on the street. However, the government should do what its primary responsibility to its citizens.

xi) *The prospects of constructive engagement with the leadership of the IMN should not be foreclosed.*

Once this will be based on respect and dignity, this will be feasible.

xii) *The State Government should ensure that investigations against all persons under detention in respect of these clashes between the NA and the IMN on 12th— 14thDecember, 2015 are concluded and treated expeditiously.*

Another very unfair recommendation by JUDCOM. You term the unjustifiable assault on civilian population by well-armed soldiers with sophisticated weapons a “clash”. Victims were abducted and unjustifiably detained while the soldiers who carried out the massacre walk freely about, and then a so-called Judicial Commission of Inquiry set up would come up with this absurd recommendation? “Investigations against all persons under detention” means that the few victims that didn’t die but were taken alive by the assailants be further persecuted. Those who carried the attack would not be investigated since no one is detained among them.

*THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT:*
i) *The Commission is of the view that the use of excessive force by the Nigerian Army, which led to the heavy casualties recorded in the Cordon and Search Operation is an act of commission for which the NA is directly responsible. The Commission therefore recommends that steps should immediately be taken to identify the members of the NA who participated in the killings of 12th— 14th December 2015 incident with a view to prosecuting them.*

This is very much below expectations. This recommendation only seeks to shield many people that might have been culpable.

ii) *The Federal Government should ensure that investigations against all persons under detention in respect of this clashes between the NA and the IMN on 12th— 14thDecember, 2015 are concluded and treated expeditiously.*

We have commented on this also.

iii) *All incidents of violence and aggression by the members of the IMN against individuals, groups or communities, which have resulted in grievous bodily harm, destruction of properties and deaths, should be fully investigated and culprits brought to book. Where appropriate, compensations should be paid.*

We have also earlier commented on this above.

iv) *Considering the nature and organizational structure of the IMN, where the leader has the total control over the members, Sheikh lbraheem EI-Zakzaky should be personally held responsible for all the acts of commission and omission of the entire membership of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria in its clashes with the Nigerian Army for refusing to call his members to order when required to do so. *

This we have earlier commented on. A one-sided trial will only have a single conclusion.

v) *The Federal Government should explore diplomatic means to dissuade other Countries from interfering in the Internal Affairs of Nigeria.*

This recommendation is vague but clearly has mischief intended. JUDCOM should have been specific about what countries were interfering with the “Internal Affairs of Nigeria” in this instance. They should have been very specific about what they considered the Internal Affairs of Nigeria and what in their minds constituted interference. It is observed that several countries sent representatives to monitor proceedings of the JUDCOM itself. The US Ambassador was quoted as saying that Shaikh Zakzaky is a man of peace. The Saudi Monarch was quoted as sending a congratulatory note to the President of Nigeria saying the Zaria attack was a fight against terrorism. Many countries spoke either for or against the issues before them. There were also global rallies and protests on this matter. JUDCOM therefore needed to be clearer what they meant, perhaps then we would be able to give an appropriate response.

vi) *The prospects of constructive engagement with the leadership of the IMN should not be foreclosed.*

We have commented on this earlier.

vii) *The Government should deal with the IMN in accordance with the laws and regulations of the land and be made to conduct its activities and affairs within the ambit of the law at all times.*

viii) *Members of the IMN should never be allowed to carry any unlicensed weapon under any guise. Whosoever found so doing should be prosecuted immediately.*

IMN has a matter of principle never ever contemplated carrying of weapons. But this recommendation was added to indelibly paint at the back of minds of people that IMN carries weapons. Forget that they said in their own report that: “The assumption that the IMN in Zaria was heavily armed was not verified.” It is well embedded in the report that many people would not bother to read beyond the recommendations

ix) *All the dangerous weapons recovered from the IMN members should be turned over to the Police for further necessary action.*

This again is repeated here. Our comment above suffices

x) *Intelligence reports by security agencies regarding all threats to security, law and order should be taken seriously and acted upon timeously to nip in the bud such occurrences.*

Our position on the so-called ‘intelligence’ is clearly stated earlier.

xi) *The Federal Government should have the political will to deal with such threats posed by the IMN and similar groups. Testimonies at the proceedings of the Commission by various stakeholders, pointed to non-implementation of the recommendations of previous reports of other Commissions of Inquiry relating to the IMN and other groups who were found to have posed grave threats to law, order and peaceful coexistence. Of particular relevance were the Galtimari and the Sheikh Lemu Presidential Commission pertaining to Boko Haram insurgency.*

Another subtle but damaging and injurious recommendation given by the JUDCOM. This would suggest that the IMN poses threat to the Federal Government. Without coming up with any evidence whatsoever besides what persons and groups ideologically opposed to IMN told them or what their arm-chair consultants posited without empiric evidence. Bringing in reports of Galtimari and Sheikh Lemu here was to add effects to the fairytale.

xii) *The Federal Government should be proactive in its dealing with threats posed by groups such as the IMN.*

Again this would suggest that the IMN poses threat to the Federal Government, without coming up with any evidence whatsoever. It is repeated to make it sink!

xiii) *The Federal Government Agencies should respond positively to requests for information by Commissions of Inquiry such as this Commission to enable it make informed decisions or come to a firm findings on issues based on credible data held by them that is not in the public domain.*

Clearly this appears to have been the problem with the JUDCOM. They were denied access with the truthful information and consequently they could not make informed decisions or come to firm findings on the matters at stake based on credible data. They had to make do with “speculations” and what is “widely believed” by people opposed to one of the parties. The end result is a shambolic report before us now.

xiv) *The Federal Government should ensure the presence of the Nigeria Police and other Security Agencies in every community and other flash point areas for effective maintenance of law and order.*

There is nothing wrong with this as long as they don’t consider citizens as their enemies.

xv) *Efforts should be made by the Police Authorities to revisit the system of Nigeria Mobile Police Force Unit, as it was in the yesteryears, so that involvement of the Military in the management of civil disorder would be minimized.*

The military has no role in civil matters in accordance to International best practices.

xvi) *The Police Authority should ensure that recruitment into the Force should be done on merit, suitability and good character as the Nigeria Police of today contains all manner of characters.*

Very important responsibility of government. The failure of government to fulfil this responsibility breeds men and officers who regard citizens as their primary enemies.

xvii) *The Federal Government should ensure professionalizing the Nigeria Police and other Security Agencies through capacity building, procurement of civil disorder management equipment and improved welfare.*

This is a primary duty of government.

xviii) *The Security Agencies should ensure 'watch listing' of IMN members ?,rid other persons of security interests, whenever they are going out of or coming back into Nigeria with a view to discovering the sources of their funding, foreign contacts and other relevant and useful information.*

This we completely reject. ‘Watch listing’ of IMN members simply because they are IMN members is grossly discriminatory and a violation of their right to privacy, travel and association. This is not acceptable in any form.

xix) *The Federal Government should not ignore the touted boast by the IMN that it has its members all across the security services who feed it with counter intelligence.*

IMN does not boast of membership in any particular sphere of life distinct from what obtains in the whole of the society. Every member of IMN performs his duties as a member of any profession he/she finds him/herself diligently just like any non-IMN member would. To single out IMN members in any profession and tag them as feeding IMN with counter intelligence is stigmatizing and discriminatory.

xx) *The Security agencies aside having an effective synergy should further strengthen their intelligence gathering mechanism in respect of the activities of the group so as to ensure prompt and timely interventions.*

We have earlier commented on “intelligence” above. Intelligence should be factual, devoid of prejudice and bias.

xxi) *The Federal Government should facilitate the establishment of Community Policing in its real sense in Nigeria with a view to curbing immediately any breach of law and order in any Community.*

xxii) *The Federal Government should ensure that it develops and implement properly intelligence driven operation policies for the country.*

We have earlier commented on “intelligence” above.

xxiii) *The Federal Government should review the adequacy of the existing rules of engagement pertaining to internal security operations and bring them into conformity with constitutional stipulations and in accord with democratic norms and humanitarian best practices.*

We strongly believe that the Military has no role in civilian territory in accordance to International best practices. In that way they can be prevented from turning their guns on the citizens they are made to protect. We would again here re-echo what Shaikh Zakzaky said at the inception of this regime that, the government must restructure and re-orient the Nigerian soldiers so that they stop seeing civilian citizens as their enemies. After committing the worse crimes against humanity ever witnessed with clear and undeniable evidence, the Nigerian Army have blamed the reputable organization like Amnesty International (AI) of been Biased.
The only only offence committed by AL in their reports is buying Army lies and not waiting for Army/ Government sponsored Kaduna Kangaroo Commission of Inquiry.

Nigerian Army: AMNESTY DID NOT MENTION THAT SHIA ARE ‘REBELLIOUS,’ ‘A STATE WITHIN A STATE,’ ARMY SAYS
Nigeria’s army responding to allegations of crimes against humanity in Zaria last December with the murder and curial of over 350 minority Shia Muslims in secret to hide the evidence, has denied the allegations by Amnesty international, accusing the organization of being biased.
Nigeria’s Army spokesman Colonel S. K. Usman said according to IBTimes:
“Nothing was mentioned on the rebellious attitude and the violations of human rights by theIMN. Neither did they [Amnesty] bother to ask why the IMN attempted to assassinate the Chief of Army Staff,” Usman continued.
“Amnesty is uncomfortable with the daily reports from Kaduna and has rushed to town with another jaundiced report to divert attention from the proceedings of the committee. Simply because witness accounts seem not to tally with their predetermined conclusion, they hastily churned out [a] highly biased and unsubstantiated report to save face and arrive at their prejudiced conclusion.”

Nigerian army must focus on telling the truth
“The report is not hasty. It has been four months and 10 days,” Donatella Rovera, Amnesty’s senior crisis response adviser, told IBTimes UK. She explained that in addition to the 347 people allegedly killed and whose bodies were dumped in mass graves, another 350 have gone missing.
“They have not been found neither in hospitals, nor in prison, nowhere, and they are feared they have been killed. There are allegations of other mass graves and these families are entitled to have their grievances addressed and the army is not doing that,” she continued.
“We hope the judicial commission of inquiry and the National Human Rights Commission are doing their own investigations with the necessary independence and impartiality. The fact that Amnesty has put in the public record its own findings can only help the work of the various commissions that are investigating.
“By burning bodies in mass graves and destroying places where these people were massacred, the Nigerian army has committed an additional crime. They are really in no place to speak about what is appropriate and what is not. They should focus on coming clean and telling the truth and speeding up the process that can hopefully lead to the families of the victims getting justice and reparation and those responsible be held accountable,” Rovera concluded.

WHY NIGERIA MUST DISBAND AND RECONSTITUTE THE DSS - AN OPEN LETTER TO HIS EXCELLENCY, PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI GCFR.

Your Excellency, I am writing this open letter as a concerned citizen, and as the head of CUPS (Citizens United for Peace and Security). CUPS is a human rights organisation created to mitigate the on-going genocide against our people in Northern Nigeria. It is our aim to espouse for the unity, peace, and security of all Nigerians, irrespective of political, tribal, religious, and gender orientations. We are the fastest growing human rights organisation in Nigeria. We have membership both at home and from the diaspora communities around the world. After sixteen years of the darkest period in Nigeria's history during which Nigerians witnessed the worst manifestation of corruption, tyranny, impunity, poverty, deprivation, insecurity, genocide, and occupation, thanks God for His divine intervention, an historic change has come about. For the first time in our history, we Nigerians put aside our political, religious, tribal, and other selfish considerations to mobilise ourselves in millions and voted you into office as our last hope. Your Excellency, the expectations of the Nigerian masses on you are monumental. Besides the calamitous level of grandeur theft, poverty, and insecurity that was deliberately inflicted on Nigerians, one of the other worst things to have happened to Nigeria during the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GEJ) administration was the criminal politicisation of the military, security, and law enforcement agencies along religious and tribal lines. This was done with the sole intent of holding on to power at all cost. And if that failed, GEJ and his cabal were prepared to break Nigeria up into banana republics, with devastating consequences on all Nigerians and the rest of Africans. Your Excellency, the politicisation of the military by the GEJ administration besides destroying the once glorious organisation has lead to the worst destruction of infrastructure, human life, and property, the type Nigeria has never seen in its 100 years history, through Boko Haram insurgency. It was the politicisation of the military that led to allocation of a whopping 25% of Nigeria's budget to defence, yet there was no tangible return on investment. The military generals were busy plundering significant amount of money allocated to defence, while at the same time criminally abdicating from their duties of providing adequate funding for military equipment, training for rank and file of personnel, and paying salaries and allowances on time. Worst still, it was the same military generals that connived to provide financial, military, and logistics support to the Boko Haram insurgents. If this has not been the case, how does one explain the incapacity of supposedly the mightiest military in Africa to defeat a rag tag bunch of marauding barbarians? Upon your assumption in office, most Nigerians expected to see the immediate dismissal of all the military service chiefs. This includes the DG of DSS and the so called National Security Adviser. Of course this has not yet happened. Furthermore, Nigerians expected that military officers from the ranks of Colonels to Generals to be thoroughly investigated for treachery, grandeur theft, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. Those found guilty should be accorded proper legal protection but should also be swiftly tried, dismissed, and punished according to the provisions of the law. While your administration has already taken steps to deal with the military, albeit in a slow pace to the chagrin of most Nigerians, as a former military general, Nigerians trust your judgment in this matter. Nigerians and foreigners alike, loud your bold decision to move the Command and Control Centre of the fight against Boko Haram to Maiduguri. Your Excellency, the politicisation of the DSS by the GEJ administration has equally been deadly on the security of Nigeria and Nigerians. It has brought about a dangerous untenable situation whereby unless you take firm decisive actions to restore confidence, discipline and sense of purpose, Nigerians risks losing the significant gains we achieved by electing you as President. Based on the leaked document sent to the CUPS organisation, we are in a position to categorically inform your Excellency, fellow Nigerians, and the rest of the world that the DSS under its current leadership by Mr. Ita Ekpeyong, poses a significant threat to your life and that of the security of the Nigerian state. As things stand today, the DSS is operating as a fully funded and armed private mafia organisation whose loyalty and sympathy squarely lies with the defunct GEJ administration, and not with your Excellency. It is fair to say that we the Nigerian masses expect you to treat your personal safety and security as that of all the 180 million Nigerians put together. This is because you are our last hope for salvation. Following your successful inauguration, you issued a directive to the Army, Airforce, Navy, and the DSS to furnish the Presidency with the list of personnel who will constitute the Presidential security detail. This was to allow the Presidency enough time to screen the officers before they arrive at the Villa. As you are already aware, all the Service Chiefs immediately complied, except Mr. Ita Ekpeyong. Instead of complying with the Presidential directive, the DG posted 253 of his selected henchmen to the Presidency on Wednesday 10/06/2015 without your approval. The reason for his non-compliance is best known to him. Despite receiving a Presidential directive, it is very alarming to note that 253 DSS officers were sent to the Presidency by the DSS, against the orders of the Commander in Chief or the Armed Forces. Your Excellency, we contend that if the DG is not prepared to take instructions from the Commander in Chief, then he is definitely not fit for purpose. Similarly, we interestingly note that one Mr. Widi Liman, who worked as one of the 3 PAs to the DG, has been strategically positioned as the Administration Officer at the Presidency. This is a wholly unacceptable arrangement, as the risk factor is great. Your Excellency, this is not the first time that this DG has shown disdain for professional works ethics and standards in order to further his ambition of supporting GEJ's dangerous political agenda for Nigeria, and at all cost. In August 2012, while acting with impunity, the same DG masterminded the unethical and shameful redeployment of 50 DSS officers of Northern origins out of the Presidency. Ten officers from the South West and 7 from the South East were also redeployed. They were immediately replaced by carefully selected DSS officers from Niger Delta. As though filling up the DSS with his henchmen and women is not bad enough, the current DG operates the DSS like a terror organisation much worse than Boko Haram. Nigerians know where they stand with Boko Haram. Everybody knows that they are a blood sucking Satanic organisation hired as mercenaries to cause death and destruction in Northern Nigeria. People either take evasive actions to save their lives or confront them with full force where feasible. Unfortunately, such is not the case with the DSS. People mistake them for a genuine government security agency whose job among others is to provide counter insurgency intelligence and protect life and property. Instead of providing intelligence, and protecting life and property, the DSS under GEJ undermined democracy by rigging elections. They provided material and logistics support to Boko Haram, and destroyed human life and property through targeted killings. Your Excellency, outlined below are some but not all of the treasonous offences committed by state directors and other senior officers of the DSS under GEJ administration. 1. MARILYN OGAR: On 23/02/2015, the CUPS organisation raised alarm about a leaked dangerous plan hatched by the DSS to supposedly “capture” one of the clones of Abubakar Shekau before a week to the 28th March general elections. The captured Shekau went through intensive training by the DSS on what to say when introduced to a global media news conference. He was to say that your Excellency was one of their core sponsors. Purportedly secretly recorded phone calls between your Excellency and Boko Haram leaders were going to be released. The aim of this dangerous criminal enterprise was to destroy your Excellency's reputation both at home and abroad. While Northern Muslims were to feel ashamed and disappointed, Northern Christians and Southern voters were going to be discouraged from voting for your Excellency. The Shekau's confession was alleged to be so perfectly planned that your Excellency may even be arrested for complicity in terrorism. The sum of 4.5 billion Naira was allegedly budgeted for this heinous crime. The purpose of the budget was to placate and coerce some Northern clerics and traditional rulers to reject your Excellency's presidential candidature. We at CUPS contend that had this plan succeeded, it had the potential to plunge Nigeria into a civil war. The architects of this plan had completely underestimated the will of Nigerian masses to affect total change by voting you into office. 2. MARILYN OGAR: In September 2014, the Australian peace negotiator, Reverend Canon Dr. Stephen Davis, who was appointed by the GEJ administration, made a startling allegation that the former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Onyabor Azubuike Ihejirika, and the former Governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, were complicit in the Boko Haram insurgency. Considering the severity of the allegation, and the level of destruction to human life, property, and infrastructure caused by Boko Haram, a swift and thorough investigation is what would have ensued if the DSS were an internal security agency worth its ounce of salt. Without conducting any investigation whatsoever, and without any regard for due process of law, within 24 hours of that allegation being made public, Marilyn Ogar went on national television to lambast Dr. Stephen Davis for “blackmailing” two “innocent” gentlemen. She went further to exonerate Lieutenant Gen Ihejirika and Senator Sheriff of any wrong doing. 3. MARILYN OGAR: Towards the end of 2014, with total impunity, Marilyn Ogar made several libelous statements on national television which are completely unbecoming of her position as the spokesperson of Nigeria's internal security agency. On one occasion, without substantiating her allegation, she alleged that the APC was a terrorist organisation. On another occasion, she alleged that the APC had offered her “substantial” bribe but she declined to collect it. The same Ms. Ogar is however linked to several multi-million corruption scandals, which she has failed to refute. Even the ‪#‎BringbackOurGirls‬ campaign organiation was not safe from Marilyn Ogar's treachery. Without substantiation her disparaging comments, she declared on national television that the organisation was infiltrated by terrorists. 4. ABDULGANIYU O. DAUDU: The Assistant Director Internal Security (ADIS), Abdulganiyu O. Daudu, in flagrant violation of his position as a national security officer, organised the production of a video campaign jingle designed to damage the good image of his Excellency just before the presidential election. This jingle was aired several weeks on many television networks supported by the GEJ administration. 5. ABDULGANIYU O. DAUDU: Without a legal warrant and any warning, on Saturday 22/11/2014, a team of armed mobile police and DSS officers invaded the APC Secretariat in Acme Road, Ikeja, Lagos. Computers and communication equipment worth millions were destroyed. Twenty eight staff working at the APC IT data centre were unlawfully arrested. This illegal operation was also masterminded by Mr. Daudu, according to the leaked DSS document sent to CUPS. 6. MARY OTUBU: On Tuesday 31/03/2015, while appearing live on national and global television broadcast, the former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe disrupted the announcement of the Presidential election results. He falsely accused the INEC Chairman Professor Attahiru Jega as being “tribalistic, selective, and partial.” This embarrassing shenanigan would not have happened were it not for the fact that Ms. Mary Otubu, the DSS director at INEC, deliberately withdrew her protection officers for Jega on that day. She has since been posted as Director State Service Academy (SSA) in Lagos for her efforts. 7. FELIX IKUMAKPAYI: During the March 2015 general elections, DSS staff were deployed throughout the 36 states of the federation including Abuja to help with rigging of the elections in favour of the PDP. Some officers obliged and a few others declined to participate. All of those who participated were handsomely rewarded by illegal promotions. Over 300 officers were promoted for their loyalty to the PDP. According to the leaked document, this illegal promotion exercise was supervised by the DSS Director of Finance and Administration, Mr. Felix Ikumakpayi. Mr Ikumakpayi has since been promoted to the position of Director of Economic Intelligence for his efforts. 8. ANGELA OLESENI: The DSS staff who cooperated in helping to rig the elections in favour of PDP were promoted to the rank of officers. Those officers who refused to participate in the illicit activities were transferred to less favourable locations across the country as punishment for non-compliance. The illicit promotion of over 100 staff, and the illicit transfer of officers who declined to cooperate was coordinated by Assistant Director Personnel Management, Angela Oleseni, who has since been promoted. 9. WASIU AGBAJE: Computer and telephone hacking is at the core of DSS illicit operations against innocent Nigerians both at home and in diaspora. Principal Staff Officer (PSO) in charge of Communications Intelligence (COMINT), Mr. Wasiu Agbaje, is tasked with the job of hacking into your Excellency's mobile telephone communications. He configured the DG's laptop to be able to hack into your Excellency’s mobile phones even if the DG is out of office. The DG could access the DSS network remotely using a secure link. This allows him to operate as though he is in the office. For his excellent hacking work, Mr Agbaje was promoted twice in 2010, and also got promoted after GEJ had lost the presidential election. 10. BEN NWAFOR: Since 2010 when the current DG assumed office, hundreds or even thousands of innocent Nigerians were executed through extra-judicial killings by the DSS. These illegal killings were coordinated by the Assistant Director in Charge of Special Threats and Tactics Team (STATT), Mr. Ben Nwafor. 11. PHILIPS MASTER: Under the guise of Counter Terrorism Investigation Department (CTID), the PSO Tactical, Mr. Philips Master, masterminded the extra-judicial execution of hundreds or even thousands of innocent Nigerian, including the Apo killings of Keke Napep operators in Abuja in September 2013. As a coverup, the DSS connived with the military to label the victims as members of Boko Haram. According to the leaked document, he too has been reward with promotions. 12. DOYIN ADETUBERU: Captain Sagir Kooli, an Intelligence Officer of the Nigerian Army serving at the 32 Artillery Brigade, Akure, leaked a video showing how the August 2014 governorship election in Ekiti was rigged by the PDP, with the help of police, DSS, and the Army. The shipment of rigged election materials from Abuja to Ekiti was coordinated by DSS officer Doyin Adetuberu. Prior to the presidential election, a significant false and damaging amount of documentary programs were produced and passed over to the AIT network for broadcasting. This was coordinated and deployed by Ms Adetuberu. Ms Adetuberu worked as a member of the deadly team used by the former governor of Ogun state, Benga Daniel before assuming his position as the PSO to Marlyn Ogar. This officer has since been promoted to the Presidency as the Security Officer for the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo. 13. WIDI LIMAN: Following the victory of your Excellency at the Presidential polls, the DSS recruited the services of an Israeli company to plant a comprehensive covert surveillance and spying infrastructure at the Villa with the intention of spying on your Excellency's government. This treasonous job was coordinated by the former PA to the DG, Mr. Widi Liman, who is now your Excellency's Administration Officer at the Villa. 14. TOSIN AJAYI: In order to perpetuate the Boko Haram scam, the DSS took some high profile Boko Haram members from their detention centre in Abuja to Balmo/Darazo forest in Bauchi state and created a new fictitious Boko Haram splinter group called “Ansarul Muslimina Fi Biladis Sudan.” The DSS provided them with money, arms, ammunition, and logistics support. This treasonous operation was coordinated by the former DSS director in Bauchi state, Tosin Ajayi. Following the defeat of GEJ, he has since been transferred to Enugu as the state director after spending over 5 years in Bauchi as director. 15. AHMED ABDULLAHI: The DSS has been instrumental in undermining the Nigerian military's capacity to eliminate the Boko Haram insurgency. They connived with the military's highest command to sabotage the ordinary soldiers and their commanders fighting Boko Haram. This callous act of treason was effectively achieved in Borno state where Ahmed Abdullahi has been the DSS director for over 5 years. Following the defeat of GEJ, he has since been transferred to Abuja as the Director of Security Enforcement (DSE). He is also promoted to the rank of substantive director. 16. ABAYOMI ZAMBA: Since the current DG assumed office in 2010, the DSS has been releasing bogus libelous information to the public domain that your Excellency has held meetings with Boko Haram leaders in Kaduna. This conspiracy to tarnish your Excellency's image was carefully coordinated by the Kaduna state director, Mr. Abayomi Zamba. Mr. Zamba also played a significant role in undermining your Excellency's chances of winning the 2011 presidential election, which resulted to riots and loss of human life in Kaduna state. After 5 years in Kaduna, Mr. Zamba was transferred to Niger state to cover his track, and was promoted as a substantive director. 17. LARRY OBIAGWU: One of the state directors closest to the DG is Mr. Larry Obiagwu. He was in charge of Niger state for over 5 years where he aided in the rigging of elections in favour of the PDP. Following the defeat of GEJ, he was promoted and got transferred to Kaduna to help undermine Governor Nasir El-Rufai. 18. IBRAHIM KATSINA: During the 2011 presidential elections campaign, a wicked and criminal attempt was made to endanger your Excellency’s life in Kebbi by pouring tonnes of sand at the airstrip, which stopped your plane from landing. This dangerous clandestine operation was supervised by Mr. Ibrahim Katsina, who has been the director for Kebbi state for over 5 years. Following the defeat of GEJ, he was promoted and got transferred to Bauchi state. 19. BASSEY ETENG: On Friday the 28th November 2014, there were triple bomb blasts at the Kano Central Masjid, which targeted the Emir of Kano, HRH Muhammadu Sanusi II. More than 200 innocent people lost their lives in that carnage. According to the leaked document, the Kano state DSS director, Mr. Bassey Eteng, who served in the state for more than 5 years, was responsible for masterminding the carnage. To cover up for his heinous crimes, after GEJ lost the election, he was promoted to a substantive director and was transferred to Abuja as Director of Operations. 20. MARKSON OBEDE: His Excellency's telephones have always been bugged by the DSS. This became escalated to include top APC officials across the country. In the meantime the DSS halted the telephone bugging of all Boko Haram suspects and kidnappers. Following the defeat of GEJ at the polls, the Assistant Director of Communications Intelligence (COMINT), Mr. Markson Obede, managed to secure the services of the Israeli Intelligence Agency (MOSSAD) to install additional bugging devices at the Villa to spy on your Excellency. 21. EKANONE: The DSS actively and openly participated in the rigging of elections in Ekiti, Anambra, Cross Rivers, and Osun states. These rigging operations were reinforced with the coordination of Ms Ekanone. She has been the director in Delta state for over 5 years, but was transferred to Akwa Ibom following the defeat of GEJ at the polls. 22. ADEBAYO E.: Many DSS officers were drafted from the South to assist the rigging of elections in Osun state. Some DSS officers were even instructed to shoot at the opposition APC members. Adebayo E. was the state director in Imo state who helped to coordinate the elections sabotage. Following the defeat of GEJ at the polls, he was promoted to substantive director and transferred to Delta state. 23. RAYMOND NKEMDIRIM: He was the Director of Operations at the DSS Headquarters in Abuja for over 5 years. He was the mastermind and coordinator of all the DSS intrigues. He was, and still remains the DG's most trusted confidant and was the brain behind all of his policies and atrocities. He was supposed to retire in 2014, but the DG retained him so as to mobilise resources to help GEJ win the 2015 Presidential elections. Following the defeat of GEJ at the polls, he is still being retained as Special Assistant to the DG on contract basis. There is special directive made by the DG that all operational files should be passed to Mr. Nkemdirim. 24. GORDON OBUA: The Chief Security Officer to GEJ was Gordon Obua. He is one of those officers who believed that stealing is not corruption. During his tenure in office, he claimed two separate vouchers to pay DSS staff at the Presidency. During the last general elections, GEJ ordered the payment of N300 million to DSS personnel in line with what was paid to the military personnel. The ADC (military) paid his personnel their full dues, while the DSS were paid half their due by Mr Obua. When GEJ got a gist of this grandeur theft, he ordered the CSO to return the rest of the unpaid money. Gordon paid back only N70m and pocketed the rest. He hired a USA company to install sensitive equipment at the Villa at the cost of 12,968,427.83 Euros. He collected this sum from the NNPC. It is also alleged that he might have collected the same sum from the FCDA. He however never paid the USA contractor a single Euro. Thanks to his grandeur thieving ways, the CSO has since become a powerful businessman. He now owns Forte oil petrol station opposite the Transcorp Hotel in Abuja, which he bought for N1.5 billion. He also owns expensive estates around the country. If the recruitment policy, retention, promotion, and management style of the current DSS DG is to create a mafia like army full of religious and tribal bigots, and saboteurs, then himself and his manifestly corrupt organisation have no place in the new Nigeria that we worked so hard to salvage from the hands of the defunct GEJ tyrannical regime. It is clearly evident from the leaked DSS document that securing Nigeria from internal threats has never been their agenda. After wasting billions of Naira of taxpayers’ money, the DG and his henchmen rather posed even more threats to Nigeria in a hopeless attempt to achieve their selfish personal interests and foster some dangerous political ambitions nurtured by GEJ and his cabal. Your Excellency, no country on the planet will tolerate such nonsense. As the Commander in Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, it will be hailed as a major political astuteness on your part by most Nigerians if you scrap the current treasonous DSS outfit and reconstruct it based on sound principles of patriotism, professionalism, and fit for purpose, to serve all Nigerians, irrespective of tribal, religious, political, gender, and other considerations. Your Excellency, the millions of Nigerians who put aside their traditional rivalries to vote you into office did so with the great hope that for once in their lifetime, they will enjoy the privileges of a fully functioning country. On the other hand, nobody voted for impunity for anyone. Following your inauguration, there is a significant goodwill towards you from both within and outside of the country. This goodwill is likely to quickly evaporate if you are deemed to be too soft on criminals of whatever description. Therefore, all those who are found guilty of breaking the law like the DG DSS and his henchmen and women must be brought to justice. We may never know the full extent of the criminality and extra-judicial killings done by the DSS until a full scale investigation is carried out. What has been released in this leaked document may just be the tip of the iceberg. Finally, your Excellency, following your successful outing at the recent AU summit in South Africa, you have heard from your fellow heads of state why fixing Nigeria has become obligatory not only for the sake of this generation of Nigerians, it has become obligatory to do so for the sake of every African and indeed every Blackman and woman living on the planet. Nigerian JTF Soldiers Massacre over 3000 civilians in Borno

Al Jazeera has obtained the first images of the Nigerian army's battle against Boko Haram fighters in the northern state of Borno. The pictures appear to show the bodies of Boko Haram rebels and many civilians, including women and children. One soldier told Al Jazeera he had seen almost 3,000 corpses mostly civilian, only 30 suspected Boko Haram member were killed. The Nigerian army have been fighting the group since a state of emergency was declared on May 14 in areas where the fighters have been operating. The Nigerian army has also released 58 women and children suspected of having links to Boko Haram. Al Jazeera's Yvonne Ndege reports exclusively from Maiduguri.

The IC report contends that the US government no longer has the military and financial resources “to continue propping up Israel against the wishes of more than a billion of its neighbors” and suggests that “the US will have to follow its own national interests and pull the plug on Israel,” Barrett said. Considering the fact that the Jewish Kissinger has long been viewed as an ardent friend of Israel and that the majority of US officials, including the authors of the IC report, are influenced by pro-Israeli lobby, the emerging messages become more remarkable, the article added. God of wisdom and compassion, who loves all human beings, has not ordained such a destiny for mankind. He has ordered human as the supreme creature to make the best and most beautiful life on Earth, along with justice, love and dignity. We must therefore think of a solution. Who is responsible for all these sufferings and failures? Some people try to justify that everything is normal and is a reflection of divine will, putting the blame on nations as responsible for all prevalent vices and evils. They are of the opinion that it is the nations that succumb to discrimination and tyranny, it is the nations that surrender to dictatorship and greed, it is the nations that accept the hegemony of arrogant and expansionist powers, it is the nations that are influenced by the (inaudible) of powers and most all vices in our world are the result of their passive attitudes with the inclination to live under the supremacy of the world powers. These are the arguments raised by those who tend to blame nations for the unfavorable conditions prevailing in the world with the intention to justify the attitudes and destructive behaviors of the ruling minority. These claims, supposedly authentic, cannot in any way justify continuation of the present oppressive international order. Indeed, poverty is imposed on nations and powers, ambitions and goals are pursued either through deceits or resort to force. To justify their inhuman actions, they propagate the theory based on the survival of the fittest, while in principle most governments and nations of justice-seeking people are humble and submissive in the face of right and are after fostering dignity, prosperity and constructive interactions. Masses of people never want to expand their territories, nor do they seek to obtain legendary wealth. They have no disputes among themselves in principles and have never played a role in the creation of any disastrous events in the course of history. I do not believe that Muslims, Christian, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists and others have any problems among themselves or are hostile against each other. They get along together comfortably and live together in an atmosphere of peace and amity. We are all devoted to the cause of justice, purity and law. The general tendency of nations has always been to accomplish positive common aspirations reflecting exalted divine human beauties and nobilities. The current abysmal situation of the world and the bitter incidents of history are due mainly to the wrong management of the world and the self-proclaimed centers of power who have entrusted themselves to the devil. The older that is rooted in the anti-human thoughts of slavery and the old and new colonialism are responsible for part of the corruption, ignorance and oppression and discrimination in every corner of the world. The current world order has certain characteristics, some of which are as follows. It is founded on materialism, and that is why it is in no way bound to moral values. It believes in classification of human beings, humiliation of other nations, trampling upon the rights of others and the abomination. It seeks to extend its domination by spreading discord and conflicts among ethnic groups and nations. It aims to monopolize power, wealth, science and technology for a limited group. Policies of the world’s main centers of power are based on the principle of domination and the conquering of others. These centers only seek supremacy and are not in favor of peace and definitely not at the service of the nations. Are we to believe that those who would spend hundreds of millions of dollars on election campaigns have the interests of the people of the world at their hearts? Despite what big political parties claim in the capitalist countries, the money that goes into election campaigns is usually nothing but an investment. In such countries, people have to vote for parties that only represent a small number of people. The will and views of the masses have the least impact and influence on the big decisions, especially those made about the major domestic and foreign policies in United States and in Europe. Their voices are not heard, even if they constitute 99 percent of the societies. Human and ethical values are sacrificed in order to win votes and willingness to listen to the demands of the people has become only a tool at a time of election. The current world order is discriminatory and based on injustice. Distinguished friends and colleagues, what should be done and what is the way out of the current situation? There is no doubt that the world is in need of a new order and a fresh way of thinking, an order in which man is recognized as God’s supreme creature, enjoying material and spiritual qualities and possessing a pure and divine nature filled with a desire to seek justice and truth; an order that aims to revive human dignity and believes in universal happiness and perfection. Three, an order which is, after peace, lasting security, and welfare for all walks of life around the globe. Four, an order that is founded upon trust and kindness and brings forth hearts and hands closer to each others. Rulers must love people. Five, a just and fair order in which everybody is equal before law and in which there is no double standard . Leaders of the world must regard themselves as committed servants of the people, not their superiors. Seven, authority is a sacred gift from people to their rulers, not a chance to amass power and wealth. Mr. President, ladies and gentlemen, is it possible to have such an order without having everybody’s contribution to the way the world is run? It is abundantly evident that when all the people and government start to think and commit themselves to the above mentioned principles and become sensitive to the internationally important issues and participate in decision makings, their wishes will find a chance to be materialized. By raising collective awareness, the seeking of a joint global management becomes more vivid, with the chances of its implementation increased. Today is the day of nations, and their wants will determine the future of the world. Therefore, together we need to place our trust in God Almighty and stand against the inquisitive minority with all our might so that they become isolated and can no longer decide the destiny of other nations. Two, believe in the God’s bounty of blessing and mercy, and seek it in the integration and unity of human societies. Governments emerging from the free will of nations must believe in their own ceaseless capabilities and know that they can achieve victory if they vigorously fight the unjust order and defend human rights. Three, pave the ground for the joint global management by insisting upon justice in all its aspects, strengthen, unity, friendship, and expand economic social, cultural and political interactions in a dependent, specialized organizations. Four, care about the interests of all the people of the world and join hands to reform the current disruptions of the United Nations with our joint efforts and coordination. It is necessary to know that the United Nations belongs to all nations. Thus, the existence of discrimination amongst the member is a great insult to all. The existence of discrimination and monopoly in the United Nations is in no way acceptable. Five, have more coordinated efforts to generate and propagate and firmly establish the language needed for designing the required structures of the joint global management field, because justice, love, freedom and amity. Participation in global management is the basis of lasting peace, the non-align movement as the second largest trans-regional group after the United Nations held its 16th (ph) summit in Tehran with the motto of joint global management cognizant of the importance of this issue and the shortcomings of the current mismanagements in the emergence of crises and problems afflicting the world today. During the summit, participating heads of state and representatives of more than 120 countries underscored the necessity of more serious and effective participation of all nations in the global management. Fortunately, we are now at a historic juncture. On one hand, Marxism is no longer around, and is particularly eliminated from the management systems. And on the other, capitalism is bogged down in a self-made quagmire and it has indeed reached a deadlock and does not seem to be able to come up with any noteworthy solution to the various economic, political, security and cultural problems of the world. The United Nations lacks the efficiency to bring about the required changes. If this inefficiency persists, nations will lose hope in the global structures to defend their right. If the United Nations is restructured, international interactions and a spirit of collective global cooperation will be tarnished and the standing of the United Nations will be damaged. The United Nations has been created with the purpose of expanding justice and reinstitution of the universal rights has in practice been engulfed by discrimination, preparing a supportive ground for the domination of a few powerful countries. Consequently, U.N.’s inefficiency has been on the rise. Moreover, the existent (ph) of the veto right and monopolization of power in the Security Council have made it nearly impossible to defend the rights of the nations. The issue of the U.N. restructuring is very vital and is a need that has been emphasized time and again by the representatives of nations, a goal that has not yet been accomplished. I would like to urge the honorable members of the United Nations and his excellency the secretary general and his colleagues to place this issue high on their agendas and devise and appropriate mechanism to make it happen. Non-Aligned Movement stands ready to aid the United Nations in this essential endeavor. Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi announced on Saturday that the country has successfully test-fired the fourth generation of high-precision Fateh-110 missiles. "The fourth generation of high-precision Fateh-110 missiles with a range of over 300km was test-fired by the defense ministry's aerospace industries organization," Vahidi told reporters in Tehran today. He said that the new missiles can hit and destroy both land and sea targets, enemy concentration points, command centers, missile sites, ammunition dumps, radars and other targets with 100 percent precision. Iran successfully test-fired the third generation of Fateh-110 missiles in August 2010. The Fateh-110 is a short-range, road-mobile, solid-propellant, high-precision ballistic missile with advanced navigation and control systems. The Iranian defense ministry has made great achievements in designing and producing missiles, including the surface-to-surface solid-fuel Sejjil missiles, the long-range Shahab-3 ballistic missile which has a range of up to 2,000 km, and Zelzal and Fateh missiles. Iran has been pushing an arms development program in recent years in a bid to reach self-sufficiency. Tehran launched its arms development program during the 1980-88 Iraqi imposed war on Iran to compensate for a US weapons embargo. A senior commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said Iran's missile capability has grown so powerful that a partial knowledge of country's missile capability has discouraged Washington from attacking Iran. "Iran's missile capability has grown much in comparison with the past, and what the US knows of Iran's capability is much smaller than what it does not know," Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Navy General Ali Fadavi told reporters on the sidelines of the 18th annual meeting of the IRGCN on Saturday. He said the US economic sanctions against Iran prove that Washington and its western allies have realized that military action against Iran would be useless. "The fact that the US is using all its power for imposing oil and economic sanctions on Iran derives from the fact that they know they won't obtain any result through military options against the Islamic Republic of Iran," General Fadavi added. He said the fruitless wars conducted by the US and Israel in the last few years have discouraged both Washington and Tel Aviv from waging an offensive on Iran. "The United States and Israel have experienced bitter experiences of war in Lebanon, Afghanistan, Iraq and the like in the last few years," he said. He said the US couldn't defeat Iran in the Persian Gulf years ago when it was due to protect the Iraq-bound cargo ships during the Iraqi imposed war (1980-1988), and Washington and its allies are well aware that Iran's military capabilities have grown drastically since then. "Our 39 retaliatory operations were conducted successfully; in all these operations, the US warships (responsible for protecting the Iraq-bound cargo ships) started their voyage to reach the (Iraq-bound) ships sooner than us, but they could never prevent even a single operation of ours," the IRGC Navy commander said. Iran's naval power has even been acknowledged by foes. In a Sep. 11, 2008 report, the Washington Institute for the Near East Policy also said that in the two decades since the Iraqi imposed war on Iran, the IRGC has excelled in naval capabilities and is able to wage unique asymmetric warfare against larger naval forces. According to the report, Iran's Navy has been transformed into a highly motivated, well-equipped, and well-financed force and is effectively in control of the world's oil lifeline, the Strait of Hormuz. The study says that if Washington takes military action against the Islamic Republic, the scale of Iran's response would likely be proportional to the scale of the damage inflicted on Iranian assets. The Islamic Republic's top military officials have repeatedly warned that in case of an attack by either the US or Israel, the country would target 32 American bases in the Middle East and close the strategic Strait of Hormuz. An estimated 40 percent of the world's oil supply passes through the waterway. The International Union of Unified Ummah deplored the massacre of Myanmar Muslims in their country and in other parts of the region, and called on international bodies to show swift reaction to the crimes committed against them. "Bad news are heard about Muslim genocide in Myanmar," a statement by the Union said on Saturday, adding that millions of Muslims who are considered as a minority in their country have faced different problems by Myanmar's government. The statement also condemned the recent massacre of thousands of Myanmar Muslims by the followers of Buddhism in front of the police forces, and said that such crimes are committed in a situation that the country's government prevents the presence of foreign reporters and representatives of international bodies. The statement called on the Iranian foreign ministry to pressure international bodies and the so-called advocates of human rights to safeguard and save the lives of the oppressed and deprived Muslims of Myanmar. The statement came as Myanmar's President Thein Sein said that Myanmar Muslims must be expelled from the country and sent to refugee camps run by the United Nations. The former junta general said on Thursday that the "only solution" was to send nearly a million Myanmar Muslims - one of the world's most persecuted minorities - to refugee camps run by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). "We will send them away if any third country would accept them," he added. "This is what we are thinking is the solution to the issue." The UN refugee agency has snubbed the idea of setting up refugee camps to accommodate the Muslims. The UN says decades of discrimination have left the Muslims stateless, with Myanmar implementing restrictions on their movement and withholding land rights, education and public services. Over the past two years, waves of ethnic Muslims have attempted to flee by boats in the face of systematic oppression by the Myanmar government. The government of Myanmar refuses to recognize them. They say the Muslims are not native and classify them as illegal migrants, although they have lived in Myanmar for generations.

TEHRAN, July 2 (MNA) – The Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee has put forward a proposal to block the strategic Strait of Hormuz to prevent the passage of tankers that carry oil for the countries that have imposed sanctions on Iran, an Iranian MP announced on Sunday. Speaking to the Persian service of the Mehr News Agency, MP Ebrahim Aqa-Mohammadi said that the proposal had been signed by 100 MPs as of Sunday. The measure would be a response to the European Union’s oil embargo on Iran that took effect on July 1 and a new U.S. law that penalizes countries that do business with the Central Bank of Iran by denying their banks access to the United States market. The law came into force on June 28. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most strategic shipping channels. It connects the vast majority of the world's countries with the crude oil that fuels their economies. At its narrowest point, the strait is 21 miles wide, with a two-mile shipping lane on either side. On average, 14 supertankers sail through the strait every day. MP Arsalan Fat’hipour said on Sunday that if Iran is unfairly targeted, it will not allow “even one drop of oil” to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. According to the Fars News Agency, he also played down the effects of sanctions against Iran and said, “We have been sanctioned for 33 years and have faced worse conditions than this, but nothing happened.”

Four people were killed yesterday on their way to Kaduna from Abuja by yet-to-be identified armed christian youth at Kara Tudu near Gonin Gora in Chukun local government of Kaduna state. A reliable source, who doesn’t want to be named, told our correspondent that the people were travelling on motorbikes when they diverted from the highway and took a bush path. “Ten of them travelling on motorbikes took the bush path because they felt that the Gonin Gora axis of the road was not safe. It was at the bush, six met their untimely death. This is a confirmed incident because four have escaped with injuries and they are now receiving treatment,” the source said. When contacted, however, the Kaduna State Commissioner of police, Muhammad Jinjiri Abubakar, said it was four people that were killed and his prompt intervention saved one person. “The deceased took the bush path to avoid the traffic gridlock at a check point in the area, which is Kara Tudu. When the natives of the area saw them, they suspected them and killed four of them while we rescued one. Four motorbikes are missing. The deceased were travelling to their hometown when they met their death. “I am pleading with the chief of the area now to fish out the youths that murdered these people because it is the youths of the area that killed them. We hope the chief would cooperate so that justice can be done. The person that survived is helping us with information,” CP Abubakar said. The white paper on 2011 post election violence released recently by the Kaduna state government recommended extra vigilance by security personnel on Kara Tudu and Gonin Gora towns, which were identified among the flash points where innocent travelers are intercepted and hacked to death.

In relevant remarks in May, former Iraqi National Security Advisor Moafaq al-Rubaie said that the Israeli spy agency has infiltrated its agents into Iraq under different guises and assassinated the country's elites. By GORDON DUFF I won’t write about Nigeria as a journalist. I am known in Nigeria as a national security specialist with decades of experience there. I have close personal friends at the highest levels of government and only write these few words out of deep concern. For those reading the news about Africa, both of you, Nigeria is under terrorist attack and preparing military operations against a group called Boko Haram, an Islamic group from the North, more accurately centred in Niger, a nation to the north, a cesspool of international intrigue. The group is real but in its current formation, it is the construct of outside powers who plan to Balkanize Nigeria. Nigeria is, in itself, a construct that never should have existed. The North is Muslim, the South is Christian, each side having nearly 100 million people and neither half are united in any way. The history after colonial occupation is one of military dictatorship and corruption at levels unimaginable. Nigeria is Africa, the most populace country, the most oil and gas wealth, the greatest economic potential, the biggest potential market. Thus, Nigeria is a target. Those in power know I laid out their fate. I told them when the bombings would start, what type, I was even right about the first target, exactly right. I figured what I would do and it happened. I figured what I would do if I were the head of a foreign intelligence agency planning to take over security operations for the government by making the new president appear vulnerable, powerless and then exploiting divisions in the country in order to start two decades of extremely powerful war. In the process, side can be played against side, crooked politicians can keep the decision making apparatus paralyzed and the country can be turned into a terrorist battleground, leading to the long awaited civil war while being bled dry. I laid the whole thing out. Two foreign governments are involved, I named them. I told my friends that Abuja would soon look like Islamabad, cameras, checkpoints, troops, that was the first part of the destabilization plan. This is being done as we speak. Real nation building is not in the cards, only rape and destruction, debt and more debt. I saw it done, more carefully, to the United States. It isn’t the same crew, not entirely, but many of the same actors are involved. First they began by blocking the new president from assuming real power, buying off key political and military leaders. Then a phony terror campaign was begun, like the one the US saw with 9/11. Then “they” arrived with solutions. At the same time, “they,” who have been working with the terror groups for years, are building an “Al Qaeda” type organization that will be able to dart across borders and carefully orchestrate a pattern of destabilization using the same contractors that are going to be paid millions to help put in place security apparatus to protect the country. This happened in America, in a way at least. It is a plan long in motion. Nigerians are ripe for civil war, angry, divided, fed up with abuse. I love the damned country, my friends there which include those who theoretically rule the country, if such a thing were possible. It is not. What I did do is lay out a plan for the first hundred days that would have prevented this. In order to accomplish this, one would have to overcome a corrupt government, meaning that one would have to assume near dictatorial powers and turn to the people, all the people, for support. One would have to deliver on promises of electrical power, police reform, refinancing debt, so many things. There were two choices, one was to build a nation and the other was to react and become the victim of a plot long stewing in two capitols far away. The desire for a civil war, something so many want in Nigeria, have waited for, has allowed them, the government, the people, to become what they fear most, slaves in their own nation. Nigeria isn’t Libya. It has a population 15 times that of Libya. Nigeria is Africa. Saving Nigeria was vital to world stability, something only a select few know. Destroying Nigeria was vital to world entropy, something only a select few know also. As we speak, plane-loads of bomb detection equipment is coming in from the same people who built the car bombs in the first place. War is being planned with the help of those who organized and armed the enemy. Enough people were there who remember it all being laid out, how it would be done. Predicting this didn’t take genius, not hardly. I had seen it all before, so many times. The plots spoken of as against Libya are very real but Egypt and Nigeria are the primary targets, taking the place of Iran, a nation that has been more resourceful than expected. Were it taught, which it is not, we would call it history. Former president Hosni Mubarak "clinically dead"

Egypt's ousted presdent Hosni Mubarak was declared clinically dead after he was transferred to hospital from prison on Tuesday, state media reported, after his heart stopped beating. “Hosni Mubarak is clinically dead,” the official MENA news agency reported. “Medical sources told MENA his heart had stopped beating and did not respond to defibrillation.” Mubarak, 84, has suffered serious health problems since he was deposed in February last year. He had been in the medical wing of the Torah civilian prison since being sentenced on June 2 to life imprisonment for his role in the deaths of protesters. Mubarak’s health was the subject of widespread speculation for much of the latter part of his 30-year rule. During his trial, he was wheeled into court on a hospital stretcher for each hearing, though it was unclear what he was suffering from. His medical condition deteriorated after the verdict and he suffered an emotional breakdown after being moved to an intensive care wing in Cairo’s Tora prison. Doctors treated him with a defibrillator twice on June 11, according to a prison hospital source. He has suffered from acute depression since his transfer, as well as periodic increases in blood pressure and shortness of breath, interior ministry officials said. Mubarak’s wife Suzanne and his two daughters-in-law were given special permission to visit him following rumors that he had died in prison. His family has formally requested a transfer to a Cairo hospital but such a move could unleash the anger of activists and protesters.

Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Yaqub Zakzaky, Tuesday, condoles one of the family of victims of the Dana air disaster that claimed over 150 lives in Lagos recently.Sheikh Zakzaky with his entourage condoled family of Professor Idris Bugaje, who lost his daughter and brother in the unfortunate incident. A special prayer was performed for the repose of their souls, and the family the fortitude to bear the loss. Amina Idris Bugaje died alongside her uncle on their way to Lagos, in preparation for onward university study trip in Germany. Also affected by the plane crash was Engineer Jamilu Sa’ad, who lost his brother Shehu Sa’ad. On his way back from the condolence visit, Sheikh Zakzaky also visited Elder M. A Comptroller of Customs was arrested on Tuesday in Abuja for allegedly buying ammunitions over time from Niger State Police command. Mr. Jack Bot was arrested by men of the State Security Service (SSS) at the customs head office Wuse, Abuja, according to BBC Hausa service report monitored in Abuja yesterday. The SSS also arrested two police officers for alleged involvement in supplying arms and ammunition to armed robbers, and the information they provided led to the arrest of Mr. Bot. The customs officer and the two policemen were alleged to have a connection with the disappearance of some ammunition from the police armoury in Minna. The security operatives had earlier arrested Bot’s former orderly, identified only as Shehu. Commenting on the arrest in an interview with Radio France, Hausa service, yesterday, the Comptroller General of Customs Service, Abdullahi Inde Dikko said: “For long we have been working with Ali Kwara, who informed me that they suspected that someone among my officers is aiding armed robbers with weapons. I told him he should fish him out and arrest him, whoever he is. Eventually, they arrested a junior officer, one Shehu, who is an orderly to a comptroller, Jack, from Plateau State. When Ali Kwara arrested Shehu, he (Shehu) told him that Jack is his boss and they have been doing this together since 2002, and they even supplied weapons to Jos during crises. I thank God that out of 20,000 people I am heading only two people were accused of such crime.” Earlier, the spokesman of the Nigerian Customs Service Wale Adeniyi had confirmed Bot’s arrest in a text message to our reporter’s enquiry. “I can confirm SSS arrest of a comptroller. Investigation is in full swing; will keep you posted,” the text message read. Sources told Daily Trust in the course of investigating the story that two police inspectors were arrested and transferred to Force Headquarters last week. The source said the arrest of some armed robbery suspects led to the arrest of a customs officer and two police inspectors over weapons and munitions supply to the alleged robbers. The source said the customs officer confessed to investigators that he got his supply of arms and ammunition from two police officers in Niger State. The Niger State commissioner of police Mrs. Desire D. Nsirim confirmed to Daily Trust on phone that two policemen have been arrested and taken to Force Headquarters in Abuja. “A customs officer and two policemen were taken to Force Headquarters, Abuja for investigation on a miss-deed,” she said but refused to elaborate.
