      <description>Dear Brothers,&amp;nbsp;

I know it seems early and your thoughts have not turned to the holiday season.&amp;nbsp; However, it is actually not too early to consider this question, WHAT ARE YOU DOING NEW YEAR’S EVE?

Your browser may not support display of this image. There is no better way to ring in 2010 than with the Brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. The Alexandria-Fairfax and Hyattsville/Landover Alumni Chapters are continuing a tradition of presenting the classiest New Year’s Eve Gala in the Washington Metropolitan Area at the Washington Renaissance Hotel.

You start the day early by checking into a luxurious room at the Renaissance Hotel. You begin your festivities by joining the Brothers at their Hospitality suites to enjoy the spirits of the season and light hors d’oeuvres.&amp;nbsp; Later that evening you can enjoy a Kappa reception with music and heavy hors d’oeuvres.&amp;nbsp; The Gala starts at 9:00PM in the Main Ballroom.&amp;nbsp; The room will be decorated with balloons, party favors, and all the glitter for a New Year’s Eve ball.&amp;nbsp; The air will be filled with the musical sounds of a popular band for your listening and dancing pleasure.

Your browser may not support display of this image.&amp;nbsp; After the champagne toast at midnight, a sumptuous breakfast buffet will be served. The dancing in the main ballroom continues until 2:00AM, and then the After parties begin for those that enjoy late night fun.&amp;nbsp; A jazz quartet begins playing at 2:00AM in the Renaissance lounge and a DJ will be playing your favorite hits in the Congressional ballroom.&amp;nbsp; You can party till you drop and then take the elevator home (to your luxurious room in the hotel).

I know you will enjoy this wonderful evening and the excitement of starting the New Year with this Kappa Gala.

Your browser may not support display of this image. Please join me for the 2009 Kappa New Year’s Eve Gala.&amp;nbsp;

Sincerely,

K. Bernard Chase, D.D.S.

———————————————————————

Greetings,

The members of the Aberdeen (MD) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. kindly request your support of our 1st Annual Black &amp;amp; White Ball: “An Evening of Elegance”. This will be an evening of fun, fellowship and entertainment as we come together for one mission: supporting our Harford County youth.

An Evening of Elegance will be held on the evening of Friday, December 11, 2009 at the Richlin Ballroom in Edgewood, Maryland.. To further acquaint you with this note worthy event, enclosed, you will find a informal invitation to include the entertainment for the evening, attire, tickets for advanced purchasing, and other pertinent general information.

In addition to the grand evening the Richlin Ball Room always delivers, you will experience great entertainment (jazz during the reception and a live performance by a band to dance the night away) as well as an appetizing &amp;amp; delicious meal, all for a wonderful cause. The Black &amp;amp; White ball is the culmination of our youth initiatives as it is our goal to distribute several scholarships to well-deserving college-bound young men and women. Your support will make it possible for us to recognize and assist several local high school students in their efforts to achieve more in life through a college education.&amp;nbsp; The students, who are well-rounded, not only achieve academically, but are also involved in school and non-school related extracurricular activities and committed to community service/civic engagement.

The Aberdeen (MD) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. appreciates your kind consideration. On behalf of our members of the Aberdeen (MD) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., thank you for your support in helping us make a difference in our community.

If you should have any questions regarding the event or need additional tickets, please contact the committee chairman, Mr. Kevin N. Warren via email – Kevin@syeaffairs.com.
