This party looks like it was so much fun! I love the idea of having the theme be centered around the Hundred Acre Wood instead of just Winnie the Pooh. There are a lot of cute ideas used throughout this celebration.

PARTY DETAILS:

This is what Kate said about planning the party-“When I met with my client, we discussed the fun and colorful vision she had for her daughter’s second birthday. She used words to describe her ideas like “funky” and “bright”; which was wonderful because I strive to create things that are both vivid and engaging; but most of all UNIQUE! I ran with these ideas, hit my office and I was off! For this budget friendly party, I was determined to make my client happy!

Stationery: Artistry designed in house by our graphic design artist Rachel, we had the cutest hoot owls (with bows for girls) throughout the entire party! Green, orange and hot pink were matched with black for the ultimate “modern” playful look.

Décor: A last minute addition, but clearly the star of the show is our GORGEOUS wooden cake pedestal; standing around 1 ½ tall, and paired with my gorgeous glass dome, you gather the illusion of little Owls resting in their tree tops! The tree tops were custom crafted by myself by using various Cricut materials, a foam board and string to create a perfect tree backdrop! Check out our HOOT HATS, perfect for any little toddler (or adult)!

Food: Gorgeously prepared “lemon drop” & “peanut butter filled” cupcakes; with matching toppers and wrappers. Cream soda, and orange crush are still the ultimate party drink for any child’s birthday (And very affordable) with a cute matching stationary wrap for “HOOT JUICE”.

Favors: My favorite part of the display is the cotton candy favors with matching EBK stationary. “HOOT FEATHERS; The candy that gives you flight” was the ultimate addition to our display!

A fun and special event (budget friendly) for a special little two year old! Amazing clients and a very happy celebration for all!”

The invitation was made to look like a sailboat ticket.

The cupcakes were designed to look like a sailboat, with the cupcake wrapper as the boat and the party logo as the sail.

One of the party cones was designed to look like a lighthouse, so it would be perfect if you stick it to a jar of materials that look like a sand.

The sailor hat was made to be used in a photobooth.

The favor boxes were made to look like a beach house.”

This is what Cheryl had to say about planning the party-“This art party had to fun-filled, and packed with activities for kids ranging from infant age to seven years old. The guests of honor were my sons, Kellen and Gavin. With two years in between them, there birthdays are only one day apart, so we had a dual birthday extravaganza.

Each guest received a personalized smock/t-shirt and a white art canvas. Some kids painted their first canvas, while others received body glitter tattoos/face painting by Snazzy Jazzy Faces.

The kids were offered additional ways to show off their artistic talents, including chalk art and poster-sized coloring pages.
The decor was based off a rainbow Greek Key design, with crisp white linens. Unique quotes, and signage were used to coordinate with the art theme.
The dessert table was the focal point for the food area, featuring Greek Key cookies, a paint-splatter fondant cake, and rainbow colored cupcakes/desserts.”

Vanessa said this about planning the party- “I recently hosted a surprise birthday party, rainbow style, for my dear friend Nicole of Petal Wishes.The entire party was inspired by Pear Tree Greeting’s “Color Stream” rainbow party invitations. I took the rainbow theme of the invitation and ran with it. Lauren Haddox Design created the rest of the rainbow party printables used throughout the party.

The main centerpiece of this morning party was the cereal bar. I filled big glass containers with everyone’s favorite cereals, including Lucky Charms and Fruit Loops to match the rainbow theme. I included strawberry, mini marshmallow, chocolate chip, banana, and raisin mix ins for guests to add to their cereal. We also had donuts, donut shooters, fruit, mini chocolate chip muffins, a coffee station and OJ on the menu.

I made my own party backdrop out of plastic tablecloths that I found at the Dollar Store. Cost effective and only requires a little bit of time and effort. For table centerpieces, I painted the inside of mason jars using rainbow acrylic paints and stuck faux rainbow flowers inside. I hand stamped wooden spoons with the word “Celebrate!” and they were a perfect match for the colorful tub bowls used for the cereal. I glued rainbow pom poms to the tops of wooden sticks to use as coffee stirs and adorned striped paper straws with printable flags.”
