Kareena Kapoor emulates Katrina Kaif's example

2012-02-23T03:57:00.000-08:00

Kareena Kapoor emulates Katrina Kaif's example: Katrina Kaif's provincial Maharashtrian moves in Chikni Chameli from Agneepath have ended up being a trendsetter of sorts. While Vidya Balan just shot a society number for Ferarri Ki Sawari, Kareena is all situated to do the lavani style part melody in Brave woman.

Vidya Balan's part tune in Ferrari Ki Sewari is yet to be out, but we catch that The Dingy Picture performer has made entirely an impression moving Maharastrian style in a furiously hot universal nine-yard sari. Then again walking into the same shoes is Kareena Kapoor who will be raising temperatures with her ethnic move number in Madhur Bhandarkar's Champion. We should declare that Kat has been all in all instrumental in setting the ball rolling. Chikni Chameli's luck and Katrina's Marathi porgi avatar in the article melody appear to have prevailed upon the move numbers that Vidya and Kareena are now cutting to. Moreover, filmmakers and lyricists are getting increasingly inventive with the names of their melody. Actually when you thought Sheila Ki Jawaani and Badnam Munni were entrancing article gal sobriquets, you had to catch expressions like Jalebi bai, Raziya, Chammak Challo and Chikni Chameli. Now, Kareena's Champion part number is titled Halkat Jawani. We catch that the honchos of the picture are astoundingly occupied protecting their title in opposition to individuals who are even now indicating fingers at the indecency of verses. The filmmakers have been attempting no picnic to demonstrate that its not precisely an interjection and a minor Mumbaiya slang.

Now any attention is great attention and we blatantly trust the melody is as successful for Kareena as Chikni Chameli was for Katrina, regarding the Kapoor darling is known to be altogether great at keeping feelings of spite!

Kareena Kapoor and Karishma Kapoor against piracy

2012-01-21T12:53:00.000-08:00

Kareena Kapoor and Karishma Kapoor against piracy: Star siblings Karisma and Kareena Kapoor have urged their fans to join in the fight against film-piracy and asked them to watch movies in theatres.

"Actors work so hard, directors work so hard, producers and technicians work so hard in making a movie, so we would like to tell the audience out there to please go to the cinema and watch our movies," said Karisma at an event here.

Kareena, who has two big releases lined up this year -- "Agent Vinod" with beau Saif Ali Khan and Madhur Bhandarkar's "Heroine", agreed.

"It (Piracy) is a racket and it should stop. You should go and only watch in theatres to see all our films and all the stars' films," she said.

Year 2012 is especially "special" for her elder Karisma as she is making her comeback to filmdom after a hiatus of six years with Vikram Bhatt's "Dangerous Ishq".

"Well, I think it is going to be very special because I am doing a movie after a long time and it feels wonderful that two sisters are in the same profession and have been together throughout. So, it feels good," said Karisma, who featured in movies like "Dil To Pagal Hai", "Raja Hindustani", "Biwi No.1", "Fiza" and "Zubeidaa".

Kareena Kapoor caught between Aamir, Imran

2012-01-20T23:38:00.000-08:00

Kareena Kapoor caught between Aamir, Imran: It’s not easy working with two Khans. And Kareena Kapoor will probably vouch for that at this point. The actor is currently juggling the on-going promotions for the Imran Khan-starrer Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu and is working on the postproduction of Aamir Khan’s Talaash.

While the actor is apparently having a tough time shuffling dates, Aamir and Imran keep pulling her leg for paying more attention to the other’s film.

“She is going all out to manage Talaash’s post-production work as well as Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu promotions. She has to wrap up all the work soon because Talaash releases this June,” says a team member close to the actor, adding, “Aamir keeps telling her that she is giving Imran more time, and Imran constantly teases her about how she’s giving mamu (uncle) all her dates.”

Says Kareena, “They both are adorable as co-stars. It’s a pleasure working with them. I have already worked with Aamir in 3 Idiots (2009). I love both of them equally.”
Ask Imran about the teasing bit and he laughs before saying, “I love teasing her about how she has no time for me and is giving all her attention to mamu (uncle) and his film. It’s great fun.”

Interestingly, Kareena has also become a messenger of sorts for the uncle and nephew. Since both the Khans remain caught up with their respective films, they hardly get the time to meet each other. So both of them get updates about each other from Kareena.

“I have never starved. Even when I used to work out for size zero for ‘Tashan’, I used to eat paranthas. I eat aloo and gobhi paranthas daily. I have a lovely diet to follow and there is lots to eat,” Kareena told reporters here Friday.

“It is about looking good, feeling good and being fit, and once you do that all boys will automatically like you,” she added.

Back from a 20-day holiday from Switzerland, Kareena has been gorging on cheese fondues and “everything else” that she loves eating.

“I am now a midnight eater,” she said.

Kareena, who is working on Madhur Bhandarkar’s “Heroine”, says she has done away with her size zero tag, but now feels her elder sister Karisma, a mother of two, deserves the title more than anyone else, owing to her slender figure.

“This is the right time to announce that the crown of size zero goes to Karisma Kapoor. She is the size zero of the industry today,” she said of Karisma, who is set to make her Bollywood comeback with “Dangerous Ishq”.

The sisters were present at the unveiling of the new cover of nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar’s book “Women & The Weight Loss Tamasha” here.

Karisma blushed after Kareena’s compliment, and said: “I completely give the credit to Bebo (Kareena) as she recommended me to Rujuta. And now I have the right amount of weight on me, which feels great and it is all thanks to Rujuta.”

“It feels great that I have lost so much of weight even after eating fish curry and rice every night. People ask me – ‘Are you seriously eating carbohydrates at night as you still look so fit?’. I just tell them that after having a baby, it is important to have carbs. It is about eating healthy and being fit and not about starving yourself,” she added.

Kareena Kapoor could inch toward getting married tomorrow

2011-04-30T04:49:00.000-07:00

Kareena Kapoor could inch toward getting married tomorrow: Following Prince William and Kate Middleton imperial wedding in the West, B-Town is now enthusiastically expecting the wedding of its particular Bollywood eminence—that of actress Kareena Kapoor and actor Saif Ali Khan.

Then again while the speculating diversion of when the several will at last get married keeps on, we get Kapoor herself to set the record straight. “I may inch toward getting married tomorrow in the event that I feel like it. However no, its not event at whatever time soon,” she clears up. “Saif's complete self is in Agent Vinod and this is his necessity at the instant. Along these lines, we’ll see once we’re finished with that. I unequivocally see us going down that method, but what's the surge?” she jests.

The actress herself is hectic with her particular biggies for the present year with the five Khans in the industry—Shah Rukh, Salman, Saif, Aamir and Imran—but she states that as the most towering paid actress, her numero uno status has nothing to do with her decision not to inch toward getting married at this elevated indicate in her job. “First of all, I don’t take the number one tag too truly. I would be able to well rank at number 100, but I could still marry when I need to. My profession has nothing to do with my choice to inch toward getting married,” she states.

Be that as it may won’t she require time off from her frenzied agendas for a luxurious wedding issue? “No, I don’t need a quite luxurious wedding. I’d affection a little private issue with household and close mates. In this way, in the event that I totally would like to work toward getting married, I may actually take a few days off and do it,” she grins.

Yet as of now all the more stealing those a few days with playmate Saif Ali Khan appears to be troublesome for the actress. She's shooting back-to-back, first with Salman for Bodyguard and afterward with Aamir for Reema Kagti's film separated from juggling her shoots for the ads, while Saif Ali Khan is distant in Vietnam culminating his hand to hand fighting. “Yes, it could be an extended while before we supervise even those a few days off,” she snickers. Be that as it may the actress declares she's not fussing. “To be going with the ideal in the industry, could any actor ever dissent.”

Buzz is that in spite of the competition that Khan camps impart, evidently, they all have been liberal when it approaches changing their dates for her. “I don’t have prior knowledge regarding camps. However when it approaches our calling, we are all actors first and that would be all that matters,” she closes down.

Just when Kareena was trying to forget about the incident, Priyanka reportedly said at a recent press conference that she considers Kareena as an actress but it’s a pity that Kareena doesn't consider her one. "This time Kareena's shock was compounded. Why is Priyanka raking up the past, that too with such alarming regularity? After their patch-up, Kareena has never said anything against Priyanka. In fact, she has been quite fond of her. Why is Priyanka on this unnecessary and continuous rampage of making jabs at her?" the source continued.

Well only Priyanka has the answer.
