Birth of Little Beautiful Jewelry

This might seem it came out of nowhere, perhaps just a surge of inspiration, a calling from the heart- but as I have rediscover the joy of creating art, maybe I'm not yet very tech-savvy or art-savvy, but when you follow your heart, you'll know, it can never be that wrong.

I created Little Beautiful Jewelry last week, more out of passion and hobby than to make myself a multi-millionaire to buy the gleam and glamour that life offers but couldn't bring any of them with me to heaven (or hell) when I die. But it's okay, money still has its use. There are always more to help, it not the refugees, then the disaster victims; if not the disadvantaged children, then the abused animals; if not the talented people who might need further funding to complete the creation of an anti-war serum, then the dedicated individuals who only stand for and implement good causes.

ANYWAY! Who wanna look BEAUTIFUL and FABULOUS? All women cheered: ME!

Bob Barker: An inspiration (click link to watch)

I stumbled upon this video just now, and Bob Barker, is such a great man. Using his popularity to advocate something that's right. He was hosting the American Pageant Show for 25 years, and quit when the producer refused to stop offering fur coats as prizes. As he call it, 'the look that kills'.

He does it voluntarily, does it relentlessly. And the smile that he always hang on his face, it's just admirable.
What's more pleasing than looking at a 24/7 brightened face?

I remembered my mum once borrowed a book from a big brother when I was about 12 years old, and in this book, the so-called mysteries have been discussed, but of course, I wasn't interested in the discussion, but only the pictures.

Kids...

Anyway, it also talked about this crop circles, but I was so sceptical back then, and also I didn't think much about it, and treated the book just like any other other story books, only it is cooler.

And now with proofs abundant, I am just not sceptical any more.

I woke up early on a Saturday morning. Surprisingly!

And what's better is: I had my breakfast in Sunway Pyramid's TOAST BOX at 10a.m.

It felt so good. That's why I love to eat breakfast with friends. Or even my family.

After that, we continued doing what we were suppose to do:

ICE SKATE!

I've ALMOST forgotten how fun ice skating can be.
Oh well, despite the minor setbacks like muscle pain and sore. Anyway, it's all worth it. And that was the ONLY picture I managed to snap before an angry-looking guy skidded right in front of me, boring into my eyes with the signal: I'll slice you alive if you do that again.

But what a shame, 2.30 was the limit. They got a S'pore ice skate competition going on, so we gotta leave the ring early. But at least we managed to watch some graceful performances. The girls are pretty!

But sorry, no pictures. =p

So we decided to play bowling. Mana tau ade bowling competition lagi. (What, is everybody celebrating Competition Day now?)

So after a rather heavy tea-time in Wong Kok, we waved Sunway buh-bye...

Class-less, beautiful day!
But I still cannot believe it's already 4 now. I can't even feel time's rolling down the hill.
As I came back from music room, currently one of my hang-out place in inti, I saw Fatima :

washing rice at my floor's pantry, and I paid a visit to third's floor pantry as being asked. Look what I've got!

Well, somebody's shy!

And besides enjoying snapping pictures, I did help out.

Although, it didn't seem very professional at all.

Better than none!

On the other had, somebody looks like she has been doing this for a long, long time.

I must admit, double lunch is very filling!

April Fool's Night

I went to April FOOL's NIGHT!

It was yesterday.

Pretty crazy huh?

I missed the front part, but in the end, Mr Wee (FYI, an admin in INTI-UC) got RM588 dollar votes for his head to be shaved off.

And Mr Paul got RM 511.

And only with that 2 people they managed to raised RM1099!

Amazing right. Dr Sia alone contributed 100 USD for Mr Paul.

Our seemingly normal block seemed exceptionally adorned with the presence of the full, round moon yesterday night.

And this is Umair the bully, keep patting people on their heads. But I must agree with Umair, the girl DOES look sweet~

So today. I did get punk'd once, but I succeeded pranking 2 persons (with minimal effort, hahaha) So 2-1=1.

Oh wait, it is still a surplus!

Amber And Alice!

You will not believe this story even if I told you. At Midvalley yesterday, Amber Chia asked me to take a picture with her at the Alice in the Wonderland fair.
I'll upload the picture tomorrow, it's in my sister's cellphone right now. And here it is:

Anyway. Encountering the extravaganza was a fairly random event, we even took picture with the White Queen! (Thanks to my mum who happened to be the camerawoman.) The rest of the characters weren't so fond of picture-taking, well, I, being such considerate person, wouldn't blame them who had to be intact with the bulky, suffocating tailored-made suits of theirs for the whole time. The red queen, the rabbit, the red heart, the hatman, and last but not least, The Alice!

Well, althought they are not very similar to the real ones, still it's fun watching people with similar costumes pacing around putting up an act. And did I mention how good the soundtrack again was? Excellent!

3D movies are becoming a trend, and soon it'll become a norm as consumers discover new depth and length for comfort and indulgement, so do producers, who are starting to get use to the increased profit margins. Once they have it, they will not be so willing to let it go slippin' away, no eh?

My point is, ''How to train your dragon" is LOVELY! I watched it in 3D yesterday, and I assure you, Toothless will blow you away~ Well, despite the fact that he really can with the UV-ray-spitting ability of his...

Dunk for fun.

Today, I definitely witness the cuteness of a serious basketball match! The guy actually dunk because the audience wanted him to~ But of course, he's really good too. And when he missed the dunk, everybody burst out laughing. And he even faked a injury by lying face-down on the floor, and after ore or less 3 mins, he rose up, smiling.

Boo by everybody and also, a wave of laughters.

Sometimes things turn out better when we take them easily. With more confident and composure.
Well, isn't life interesting?

New boom `just months away'

WESTERN Australia's peak business group has ramped up its economic growth forecasts, claiming the next boom is just months away and the state will be "the envy of the nation" again.

In a report being released today, the WA Chamber of Commerce and Industry has dumped its previous 0.25 per cent economic growth forecast for this year, replacing it with 1.5 per cent in the short term, rising to 5 per cent next year and 6 per cent growth by 2012-13.

With more than $200 billion of projects in the pipeline and the global economy bouncing back, the CCI said unemployment had peaked, business investment was back on track and exports were set to grow by more than 10 per cent every year. CCI chief economist John Nicolaou told The Australian businesses were gearing up for the next wave of prosperity.

"The full effects of the upturn will start to really be felt in the second half of this calendar year," he said. "The impact of the financial crisis will still be felt in terms of our growth number this financial year, but thereafter we're heading into very strong territory."

He said business investment was the key driver, and while it slumped during the global downturn, confidence had returned.

The report predicts business investment will grow 7 per cent in 2010-11, and 12 per cent in 2012-13.

"There are big projects about to gear up, most notably Gorgon, and there are also a lot of smaller businesses that held off on investment decisions that are looking at it now," Mr Nicolaou said.

The CCI sliced almost a full percentage point from its previous forecast for the state's unemployment rate, which it now expects to average 5 per cent this financial year and to fall again next year to 4.5 per cent.

"Within months, the state has gone from the verge of recession, to now ramping up for growth that will be the envy of the nation," Mr Nicolaou said.

"The turnaround in the state's economic fortunes has been impressive. It's hard to see any other state surpassing the potential growth this state will experience."

But the report also warns of trouble ahead with looming labour shortages.

Interesting topic brought forward, well, if it was to be reviewed by a religious teacher, then there is definitely nothing out of the blue, but due to the fact that Mr Yee is our economics lecturer, you don't get to see this phenomenon very often.

   What he said, utterly make sense.

   He rather not choose to be born in this world again so that in his afterlife, he doesn't have to deal with the petty morality of this society's which made him feel unappreciated and undervalued. People are self-centered. Not all of them, but most of them, 99% of them. It is always about me, me and me. A said to B :''You hurt my feelings, quickly, say sorry!'' But B thinks: So what about when YOU hurt my FEELINGS? I didn't demand any sorrys from you; Thank you is a common phrase, ahhh yes, but not here in this society, you don't get to hear it very frequent. ''Well because that is what it's supposed to be''

People taking things for granted.

   Well if you'd asked me, I will rule out reincarnation as well, maybe because I'm already numbed. Like Mr Yee said, people tend to forget, we realise that obvious flaws, we thought about them, we reflected. But then as memories fade and vision blurred, we repeat, the same mistakes again and again.

   I guess my reason is because I think there's no point struggling when there's a place where eternal peace can be attained. Heaven. Although, I am not sure whether I can end up there. Lol.

   You can say I'm superstitious, you can even say I'm out of my mind, but your words are of insignificance and nothing else. But I can tell you this, I am not over-religious, and I can still differentiate what's black and what's white.

If I was the old me, I wouldn't have gone to MPW class yesterday. Back in taylors, my skiping record was quite striking.
But anyway, I attended the 'moral studies' class yesterday. I paid partial attention to the things he was talking/discussing about. But I never thought that I would hear something like this. He said, in his unique way of articulating english, ''...motives....they are very important....ahhh, that's why next time ah....don't judge people by their actions....must see motives!..''

It was like, hearing a sane voice at last...Well I guess this time round, I might just reduce my skipping habit=)

And yesterday I just used lift(yes as in like elevator) to get to the lower ground of our library in our college. LOL. I've no idea its working. So cool. Saved some time for the stairs.
