American Idol is an incredible show to watch people from all over the country  and all walks of life go for their dream of being the next “American Idol“.

My question to you is…

Last night I added up the hours that people spent this week just to watch someone else go for their dreams and it came out to about six hours if they watched all three nights of American Idol.

Every single one of the contestants on American Idol are striving to be a

“Lifestyle Entrepreneur”.  This means they are creating the life that they want, shooting for the stars, and not settling for less!

I have been running a successful business from home for many years now and I think some of my success is attributed to the fact that I do have the freedom to dress down or dress up while I work.  There are many people in the corporate world that feel stuck with always having to dress to impress.  Some companies and free lance workers are finding that they are more productive working remotely from home which also allows them to dress how they feel most comfortable.

There is also a flip side to the freedom and comfort of pajamas.  I have found at times that I am really comfortable but I also need to have my mojo and my go get em’ attitude.  If I’m lounging a lot in pajamas or even comfy sweats I just seem to loose my energy.  I like to keep my energy up so there must be a healthy balance.  I say go for it and enjoy it on an occasion but don’t get to comfy and do it all the time.

Here is an article on 5 reasons you should never work from home in your pajamas.  I definitely can’t do the “never” but I do agree with not making habit of it.
