Hello! My name is Karl Dallas and I'm a writer of songs and poems and a teller of tales. I've got blogs all over the web, most of them inactive, and I'm trying to make my blogging a bit more coherent.

This is where I shall post my thoughts on a wide variety of matters as they occur to me. There will also be a more categorised selection of these thoughts at http://www.karldallas.com/blogs.

I'm also planning an RSS feed, but I haven't worked out how to do it yet.

Here's a picture taken in Iraq in March 2003, when I was singing to kids from a Baghdad school. I wonder how many of them are still alive?
