Guess Who Is Back??

2013-05-21T14:07:00.008-07:00

I'm back in action and going to try yet again to maintain this blog the way I should. I have a lot of great information to offer as far as working from home and also have some other new trends I've been following that I cannot wait to share with you.

Recently, I started working with a great company called Law Docs Xpress. It's a transcription position and I totally love it!! I'll share more on them in a later post.

For now, I just wanted to say, "Stay Tuned." Tomorrow, I will be posting some very FRESH job leads.

The Taste on ABC

2013-02-18T20:51:00.002-08:00

This is my new addiction. This show has both professional and amateur chefs who face off cooking items that judges will then sample and decide if they want them on their team or not. My best friend just finished culinary school, so I'm excited to chat about the with her. ABC always has a ton of shows that catch my interest, not too mention you can watch full episodes online!!!

Montagne Jeunesse

2012-01-06T12:31:00.000-08:00

Another of my favorite items that I received to test and review as part of Influenster's Holiday VoxBox was the Montagne Jeunesse face masque.

Not only are they extremely affordable, but they left my skin feeling awesome. The masques are packed with the natural ingredients and come in fragrances that will sooth your soul or rejuvenate your energy, your choice. These are good for men, women, teens of all skin types.

Give these a try. I guarantee you'll find the right one to suit any mood.

Check them out here!!

PS - My favorite part of the masque, besides how awesome it left my skin feeling, is that on the back it says, "We're vegetarian and animals are our friends - that's why we don't bash bunnies or add bits of animals!

imPRESS Press-on Manicure

2011-12-28T23:45:00.000-08:00

Since the announcement of the products in Influenster's Holiday VoxBox Program, I've been drooling over the imPRESS Press-on Manicure.  I could not wait to try them.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the durablity for press-on nails.  I have three children, the youngest is nine months.  I also type for a living.  These nails were the perfect alternative to expensive acrylics that are a pain and can damage your nails.  Instead of spending $40+ to get my nails done, I'd much rather spend $6-8 and have an amazing set of nails for a special occasion.  They are really good for the first two to three days and then start to come off, at least in my case.  Again, I'd consider myself to overly use my hands. :)  However, they were a hit at our Christmas party.  Everyone that saw them and talked to me about them went out and purchased their own sets for our New Year's Eve party.  :)

Thanks Influenster for letting me try this product for free and offer my friends and family my opinion.  Double thanks to imPRESS for making sure that I'm always dressed to impress.

Natural ingredients in perfect harmony for your dog

2011-12-11T00:59:00.000-08:00

As part of the Bzz Agent program, at bzzagent.com, I received this food for free to test out with my pet and offer my honest opinion, for what it's worth, on my blog. I must say that I love the natural ingredients. I want to feed my dog something that's healthy for him. My favorite part is the fact that his coat went from dull to shiny and full. Thank you Science Diet.

Also, check out petmd.com/mybowl too, a partnership between Hill's and petMD.com that helps pet owners make better food choices for their dogs.

Proactiv - Great even for those with little to no acne

2011-11-24T00:28:00.000-08:00

The other day I mentioned Influenster's VoxBox Program and raved on one of my favorite products.  Well, my Cosmo VoxBox also contained Proactiv's 3 Step System.  I have acne very rarely so I had never even considered trying this product.  When I received it in my VoxBox, I finally had a reason to try it out and I'm glad I did because I love the cleansing system.  I think it works much better than regular facial soap and left my skin feeling refreshed.  I recommend this product for those with or without acne.

You can order Proactiv by clicking here!

Tuesday WAH Job Lead

2011-11-16T00:21:00.000-08:00

I used to work for Working Solutions and I loved them. If I hadn't have gotten divorced, I'd probably still be working there. It can be a wait before you hear from them but once you get on a project you're usually good to go.

Legit WAH job lead :)

I've worked for this company before and cannot say enough good things about them. Acddirect is a great place to work. They take pledge calls for PBS. It's an awesome chance to earn money from the comfort of your own home.

It's the holiday season so they are hiring. :)

Vitabath is amazing stuff!!

2011-11-10T14:59:00.000-08:00

Recently through Influenster's VoxBox program, I received a bottle of Vitabath to review. This being my first time receiving a VoxBox as I just joined the program Sept 13th I was a little skeptical. However, I cannot say enough about this product.

The best part of this product, it smells AMAZING!! The fragrance I reviewed was Fruit Fanatic. I wish I could explain it or insert a little scratch and sniff here because it is awesome. All of the products are sulfate and paraben free and include Vitamins A, B3, B5, C and E, not too mention an antioxidant superfruit blent.

The soap lathered into a rich lather and left my skin feeling revitalized and moisturized. I have recommended this product to everyone I know. It's going to make the perfect Christmas gift to some of my closest girlfriends this year too.

A December Blessing

2008-12-09T06:25:00.000-08:00

One year ago today I was given an opportunity that most parents are not. I was given my daughter 12 weeks early. This means that I was given time to watch what normally occurs in utero happen right before my eyes. Granted, I would've much rather had her finish out her term inside me, but she was eager to see the world.

Mady tipped the scales at 2lbs 11.5 oz and was 15 inches long. The lowest weight she was at was 2lbs 6oz. By Christmas time, Mady was almost 3 lbs.

As the New Year came, Mady continued to grow. Normally, you'll take one step forward and two back. That's just the way preemies are. Not this one. This was one room air from day two and never went back. This one started taking a bottle at 3-4 weeks old or 31-32 weeks gestation.

As 2001 began, Mady was determined to come home before her March 3rd due date. After 42 days in the NICU, it was time to go home. Mady was one of the lucky few who found growing and eating to be a breeze. Coming home after only 6 weeks was 6 weeks earlier than we expected. They contributed her coming home so early to the fact that I was there endlessly. I never came back to Klamath until she was ready to come home from RVMC. Collin came over every day he was off. I am so proud that he and I working together brought that little girl home healthy and ahead of schedule.

Mady is an amazingly bright and loving little girl. She's very naive to the real world and lives in fairytale land, but I love that. She has plenty of time to learn about all the horrible things out there in this world. Right now, she just needs to enjoy being a kid. Today, Mady will cut off over 10 inches of her hair to donate to Locks of Love. It's a very bittersweet day. I looooove those long locks so much, but I know there are others who will love them so much more than I could ever imagine. I will post pictures of that tonight.

Happy Birthday Princess Madysen

Love always,
Mommy

The End of the Road...

2008-11-30T11:27:00.001-08:00

Today is the final day of the NaBloPoMo challenge. During this challenge, you're required to post everyday about any topic. I had a blast. I'm going to look into more ways that I can stay motivated while posting. While I think I only have a few people looking at my blog, I love to keep a journal that my kids and grand kids can read someday. I've never felt like much of a writer, but I think I could develop into a phenomenal one when I have the time. Next month is December. It's my favorite month of the year and I can't wait to post pictures and tidbits of info on our lives.

Until next month....

This is Mady and I at the beach in 2003. I became pregnant with Marshall this month. We had a great time visiting with my best friend from grade school, Lily. I can't wait to get to Montana to see her and her growing family. :)
