If I had blogged religiously, I would have achieved this target so long ago.

If I were to say that the reason why I didn’t have the chance to blog every day since the start of the blog till today is due to me being busy, it would have been a complete lie. So, let me be honest and tell you the truth. Well, we’ll save the truth for later…

My reasons to why I blog? Well..

I believe that through blogging, I’d be able to improve my writing.

Also, with the bits of the knowledge I have about making money online, I thought I could share it to the public, and as I do so, also have the opportunity to know more about it. And as I learn more, I share more.

Those two have been the core reasons.

And this is the 100th blog post which I am absolutely proud of. I hope I could not only enhance my writing skills, but as long as I am in the blogosphere, I hope to learn more about it and to share what I have learned along the way.

And yesssssssss!! I have finally watched “The Dark Knight”. And ohh yesss…It is the best movie of the summer and will be the best action flick for this year! Nothing beats it, it’s twice as good as Ironman!

Heath Ledger is the true Joker. The Dark Knight is simply the best movie Chris Nolan has crafted thus far. The Joker played by Heath is simply the most intense and frightening just like the way it should be. The Joker is supposed to be psychotic and a murderer that we should only love to hate. It was perfect, and when the show is over, you really begin to miss the Joker, Heath Ledger…

The story was good. The effects was good. Christian Bale was perfect. Joker was, THE Joker. Harvey Dent? And there’s more…

It’s been so long since I have enjoyed a movie this much. Why So Serious?…

Expectation is the root to all heartache.

Yes, that Shakespeare quote is a repetition. I have blogged with this particular topic and I have tried to argue that expectations are indeed necessary. But I somehow got it all figured out wrongly, and stated them as my opinions inaccurately.

This time around, I’m going to contradict my previous post.

Having expectations are sometimes necessary, but not in the context of relationships. Nevertheless, it is not entirely possible for you to run away from having expectations from your loved ones, but what I have learned is that, that expectations should be kept at a very minimal level. Otherwise, you are seriously in a relationship that is not healthy. The only thing that you should seek to change is the way you and your partner interact. Expectations arise mainly because of the lack of proper communication. If there is proper communication, mutual respect and understanding could be given birth to in any relationship.

If you have just too many expectations from your partner, and you make changes to your partner so that he/she could deliver you what you want, then you are being completely dishonest in your relationship. Read the following…

A relationship, in the truest sense of the word, means relating to another. Usually when we say that we relate to someone, it is because we’ve found common ground. But part of relating is finding ways to make ideas that seem different come together. So often when we choose relationships, we try to fit another person into our predetermined ideal. When they don’t fit perfectly, we may try to make them over, creating our own vision from the raw material they’ve brought. But unless someone asks for guidance and direction, entering into a relationship with someone we want to change is dishonest. Then our relationship becomes with someone we’ve imagined, and anytime our partner steps outside of that imaginary projection, we will be disappointed. An honest relationship is one in which we accept each other as whole individuals, and find a way to share our life experiences together. Then, whenever we want, we can choose as a couple to give the relationship a makeover by renewing the ! way we interact.

By wanting to give another person a makeover, we are basically saying we don’t accept them for who they are. If we take a moment to imagine the roles reversed, we can get a sense of how it would feel if our beloved only committed to us because they thought we were, or would become, someone else entirely. In such an environment, we are not relating to each other from a real place, and we are keeping ourselves from being able to learn and grow from the different viewpoints that our partners offer.

If we feel that a change is needed in our relationship, the only makeover that we truly have the power to make is on ourselves. By accepting our partners for exactly who they are—the ideal and the not-so-ideal—we will create an energetic shift in our relationships, and we may find ourselves really appreciating our partners for the first time. Working from within, we determine how we relate to the people and the world around us, and when we can accept it and embrace it all, without conditions, we make every act of relating a positive one.

How to make money blogging? It isn’t all that hard, you know? Well, since you are reading this and I presume that if you continue reading this, you would actually be interested in knowing how. So, let me tell you how to make money through blogging. I am not an expert of any sort in this field, but I would confidently tell you that I know the basics (like perhaps, really basic?). Well, it’s a good start, isn’t it? Also note, this post is not just about making money, it talks in detail about THIS very blog.

Excerpt from Part 1

I love to write. I have always wanted to start blogging since I was aware of such a thing called online journals. I think it was year 2000, when I first started to have the desire to have an online journal. This is what we call today or maybe even then, a blog. But back then, I created a website on my own and did everything from scratch in the oldest language that it seems now, HTML. Haha..

Every time I started, I somehow procrastinated and never bothered to consistently update it. I know this is an old habit that seems to belong to many out there. I first created an online journal for my friends to read and comment, but then, I started realizing it wasn’t the easiest thing to be done.

In all these years, I have created blogs, and left them to rot. I created a blog, which I would update it frequently for a month or two, and then I totally get carried away and never return to my blog(s). When I finally get the inspiration again, I start a new blog on a new address or host. And that’s how the cycle was for years.

Back is when I was completely unaware of such a thing as Monetizing your blog. Blogs were meant to be a space for expressions, not making money. So, when I finally got around the idea of making money through blogging, I thought why not create a blog this time around, and with money being an extrinsic motivator, I hope I would not stop blogging and have the motivation to blog and at the same time, earn more money.

Well, it was good that I started off somehow. Through this blog, I have learnt a lot about the blogosphere. I have also had the opportunity to get a taste of the fundamentals of blogging as well as monetizing your blog. Which is what I set to share to the blogosphere, just like many out there. I stuck myself to the oldest philosophy of humankind, “Everyone is Unique”. Since everyone is unique, I felt confident with my uniqueness and offered to share the bits of what I have learned thus far.

Of course, what I have learnt needs a lot more substance to it, and therefore I continue learning.

The not-so-obvious twist is that I have become passionate about blogging that it isn’t about making money online anymore. This is my personal blog, where I will have an opportunity to rant simply about anything and everything. Of course, when I do rant about my personal life, I have to sugar coat it and make it as vaguely as possible because one thing about the internet and having a public domain is that, you never know who’s reading it.

There isn’t going to be much advertisement on this blog, only minimal (for your reading pleasure). Thanks to all those who have been visiting this blog, because you have been the inspiration for me to keep this blog alive thus far. You have also made me realize my passion to improve my writing and this blog will be a channel for my expression, be it good or bad.

And oh, this Make Money Blogging, Part 2 wasn’t much about Making Money Blogging, was it? Well, it’s just the Part 2. It was not meant to stop here, and to you who has been faithfully following my blog, stay tuned and I will make sure your visits to this blog be fruitful at the final end!

This has to be a quick one.

My expectations for Hancock were pretty high, but that wasn’t the only reason why I was disappointed with it. When I watch a movie, and if it is a super hero movie, which will have a great deal of CGI’s, I would at least expect a decent CGI in the 21st century for a Hollywood movie with Will Smith starrer.

That was not all. And you might have also heard a lot about how the movie felt so rushed that you did not have the opportunity to appreciate some of the moments in the movie. The movie had a weak story, and after a point, it felt more like “My Super Ex Girlfriend”. Well, it was just what I felt, but I would say I enjoyed the movie afterall. It deserves some credit, for you see Will Smith throughout the show and appreciate his acting.

This movie is an entertainer. But I enjoyed Get Smart so much more…!

One thing that is certain in life is change. Change is constant, no matter how we might despise it. When we change, we tend to accept it as part and parcels of life. But when that same change occurs to someone close to us, we could barely accept it. Most of the time, we refuse to accept their changes, and then starts the unique war of humankinds.

From a very personal point of view, I have been a complete hypocrite when it comes to accepting changes of my loved ones. I have always felt the need to get hurt when someone changes for the worst. But then, taking a minute to think about why that change might have occurred, I somehow become harsh towards myself and blame myself for all the wrong doings of that someone.

How would you really know? If you have been given the chance to analyze your actions and know the thoughts that were running in their minds, I am sure you would have been one heck of a gifted human being. Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to read one’s mind or thoughts, and that becomes a complete disadvantage.

There’s something irony and at the same time contradicting about this whole thing.

What is it that we require most in life?

Love…

What is it that is absolutely constant in life?

It was all so sudden. My experiences have been completely unexpected, and they came without notice or warning. In the recent days, I have seen the many different faces of humankind. In the beginning, I became fearful. But after constant exposure, I have only begun to learn how to handle the sophisticated characters of people.

Each episodes of our lifetime, we have temporary hypotheses of our life. Hypotheses that are designed to justify our life. Hypotheses to have a sense of identity. A sense of uniqueness. Hypotheses…

Each individual are unique on their own way. They are all good, as well as bad. Only actions determine your character, and actions not necessarily have to be internally motivated. Most of the time, they are externally motivated, in other words, situations demand sophisticated actions. Your actions are mostly justified by your mind to satisfy your conscience.

So to the world, you may have done the wrong. But in your head, you have justified your doings. You did what you had to do, because the situation demanded you to do so. Let me give you a brief scenario:

In Europe, a woman was near death from a special kind of cancer. There was one drug that the doctors thought might save her. It was a form of radium that a druggist in the same town had recently discovered. The drug was expensive to make, but the druggist was charging ten times what the drug cost him to make. He paid $200 for the radium and charged $2,000 for a small dose of the drug. The sick woman’s husband, Heinz, went to everyone he knew to borrow the money, but he could only get together about $ 1,000 which is half of what it cost. He told the druggist that his wife was dying and asked him to sell it cheaper or let him pay later. But the druggist said: “No, I discovered the drug and I’m going to make money from it.” So Heinz got desperate and broke into the man’s store to steal the drug-for his wife. Should the husband have done that?

This is Kohlberg’s moral dilemma. Kohlberg is not really interested in whether the subject says “yes” or “no” to this dilemma but in the reasoning behind the answer. The interviewer wants to know why the subject thinks Heinz should or should not have stolen the drug. The interview schedule then asks new questions which help one understand the child’s reasoning. For example, children are asked if Heinz had a right to steal the drug, if he was violating the druggist’s rights, and what sentence the judge should give him once he was caught. Once again, the main concern is with the reasoning behind the answers. The interview then goes on to give more dilemmas in order to get a good sampling of a subject’s moral thinking.

And it goes deeper from there. But the point I am trying to make is that, what people generally do, their actions, are strongly based on their moral reasoning and the situation. Most of the times, people are good as well as bad.

And this is for you, sister. By quoting your words.. “‘Its human nature to think that they are right in what they are doing.’”

And finally, I have had the chance to watch it! So, was The Incredible Hulk, incredible? Well, Incredible would not be the word of my choice. Nevertheless, it was really a good entertainer. The casting was perfect, with Ed Norton playing the tormented and disturbed Bruce Banner, it was excellent. I loved the movie, only, I expected more.

There is somewhat a little spice at the end of the movie for comic movie lovers, like myself. And that had me smiling widely after the movie.

The plot of the story was good. There were no unnecessary dragging of the storyline or whatsoever. It was adequate, and fast paced. The duel between Hulk and Blonsky was much more satisfying in terms of CGI and action sequence compared to the Ang Lee’s Hulk. All in all, I enjoyed this “The Incredible Hulk”. Joyous. Entertaining. And maybe, Incredible! =)

Yes, the lack of updates. This time around, it wasn’t my fault. I was not indulging in chronic procrastination or anything of that nature. I was rather occupied in a production of an upcoming Tamil Movie.

The working title of the movie as of this moment is, Vanthaal Meenachi. It’s a comedy. Further information about this movie will be released to the press soon, till then; I won’t go into greater lengths about the movie. But so far that I’m involved in the whole production team, I can only say this movie is going to be a real entertainer for people of all ages.

The production is being shot somewhere away from KL, so I don’t have the ease of going online every now and then. And that, I guess, is a good reason :p Don’t you think so? Haha.. But well, that also means I owe my readers at least further information about the whole movie. Which I would share it with you people, just give me some time.

Being involved in the whole scene, I must tell you, I’ve learned a lot about the film industry. Though what I learned is nothing compared to the others, but I have had the opportunity to learn so much about the Indian film industry. Though the film is produced by a Malaysian company, the movie is created with the expertise of movie makers from India. That gives an important touch to the movie, and for now, this much of information would be adequate.

There certainly will be more updates soon. Keep in touch!

P.S Incredible Hulk anyone? ~sighh…I haven’t even got the time to watch it yet.

From a make money blog to a personal blog. This is my story. Not your typical “How to make money blogging”

So, how to make money through blogging? Here’s how:

1. Niche. Before you even start a blog, it is important for you to know what you want to blog about. If you are going to blog about how to make money, well, if it is your first ever time starting your very first blog, than you might as well not indulge in such a niche because you have to do 10x the work of researching compared to those who are slightly savvy with it. But other than that, for first timers, it is always good to know what you want to blog about. Have a niche. It is so damn important! Trust me, otherwise you would just run dry! (Maybe not, if you read this post and have all that it takes!

2. Create a Blog. So, now that you have a niche or you are determined about what yours is going to be about, it is time to create a blog. There are a lot of blog platforms out there, where you can just sign up and immediately be given an URL for you to call it your blog URL. Well, highly recommended ones are Wordpress or Blogger platforms. Type it in Google, and you’ll have state-of-the-art explanation to create a blog. It really is damn easy. Okay, I’ll move on.

3. Optimize Your Blog. Get the plugins necessary for Search Engine Optimization. What is it? Well, in absolute laymen’s term, let’s just say it is about letting the search engines to recommend your site for what they are looking for. It is important, because to make money, you..ohh..you REALY NEED traffic to your blog.

4. Monetize Your Blog. Then, of course is to get to google.com/adsense. Yes, Google Adsense. I know many people who have stopped using that and have moved on with some other alternatives of making money online. But seriously, unless you are a pro, you should start with Google Adsense. Sooner or later as you blog, Google Adsense will seem almost like a god to you!

5. Blog Posting. Ahh…then, start being creative with your posts, and be consistent. Also go to google, and search for blog directories or link directories and try to submit to as many directories you can.

6. DO RESEARCH. The only way you can come out with more original posts is by reading more about the niche of your blog. If you own a blog on pets, then do your extensive research, enhance your knowledge, and then you will continuously have things to talk about. On and off, take photos of your pet if you own a pet blog (you should have a pet if you’re planning to have a blog that talks about pet).

7. And finally, wait 3 months. Most of the pay-per-post system requires your blog to have more than 10 posts or more and that it is 90 days or more. So, wait 3 months, and then visit JohnChow.com or maybe even 5xmom.com and just look at which pay-per-post system they would suggest or recommend.

In conclusion, you need to put in a lot of effort. And you’re catering to an audience, so always remember to thank them in some manner. There is no such thing as something for nothing. Never! You will get what you’re worth. So if you do the necessary, you will most definitely start making money online. There is no turning away from that.

Be consistent. Don’t procrastinate. And work hard, because making money through blogging requires:

1: Quality Content
2: Extensive Reading/Research
3: Analysing (SEO and Traffic)
4: Being aware of the blogosphere – Contests, Friends and etc.

Now, KartzWorld.com started off with the same intention of making money through blogging. Ohh..really, that’s how it came into existence. But I have not been able to fulfill any of the requirements, and most importantly, I wasn’t doing any of the basic things you need to do to make money through blogging. There is so many guru’s out there that almost all advocate on the same idea, over and over again. It really isn’t that difficult to make money, but without the required effort, please, don’t even think you’re going to be making USD1000 and above monthly. The guru’s make way more than that, and it is real (so if you think you have the determination and persistence, don’t give up). And there is no such thing that if they can do it, you can’t do it. Of course you can, but are you willing to do what it requires? I wasn’t willing to do that… I had different plans for myself, and I didn’t devote the necessary time required for making money through blogging.

To be continued…

I have been asked to write a short review on Indiana Jones by my friend. So here it is.

First and foremost, the reason why I didn’t write a full-length review for Indiana Jones is because I am not a fan of Indiana Jones. I know, being a movie freak, I should have watched the Indiana Jones series. But I just didn’t watch any of the previous, even though Spielberg is my all time favorite director. He is brilliant, and that is no exception.

But it’s shameful that I haven’t watched the Indiana Jones series. Harrison Ford and Spielberg! How can I? But that’s alright, because I know many of you whom are in the same boat as me. So, how significant was the latest Indiana Jones was for me? Surely, very significant as it was the first time I’m watching it.

I liked it.

But that’s about it. Since I was not accustomed to the whole Indiana Jones concept, I kind of felt weird. I mean, I liked it, because it was entertaining. Shea LaBeouf was an absolute charm to the Indiana Jones series because he practically stole the screen with his charm and the comedy. If I could sum up the movie into a single word, it would be: entertaining.

So, I know most of you have watched it by now, but for those who hasn’t got the opportunity to watch it, you should. This is an extremely late review, but I was kind of forced to write one and might as well post it. I don’t even consider this as a proper review :p
