2013-04-04T02:33:00.001+01:00

Hello all! It's been a while since i've last posted. I have been busy ( you know that usual life) but it surely has been a productive start for this year. Firstly i got to shoot for PAUSE Magazine who are based in London and focuses on Menswear. I had a great experience getting to know new people. There has also been another opportunity for me this year, which is to shoot for Leni's Model Management.

It's been a while since i've started sharing my new work on my new blog which i announced on my last post, I didn't want my followers here in blogspot to leave me just because i've opened another blog elsewhere... i still want to treat you with my new post but sadly i haven't been able to share some of my other photography work here. So, i've decided to share few of the shots from my recent post in tumblr.

Hello everyone & sorry for not updating you all for a long time.

As always, i always have an excuse or a reason... This time i have none...I've only just been very lazy.

It's been a while since i've updated anything....

I have a big & small good announcement....

Okay!

Big one first... I have new blog in tumblr named as "WE, STREET STYLE" ...Now this blog will only feature my street fashion photography and style scouting...

Small one now... this blog will still run as usual... but this blog will focus more on my other photography work.

Thank you all! I hope you can still support me on this new project!

I have to say the past few months has been hectic with work schedule and events, shall i hit you all with some bullet points ( just like em' school/college/university days - they never left me alone :D)

Parcha Exhibition - It is an event organized by my good friends ParchaProduction. It was two days event consisting of Art, Photography & Illustration Exhibition along with live acoustic session by amazing talents and a fierce and awesome fashion show on the following day. It was organized in a pretty cool venue at Mile End, London. The event went well with an spectacular viewers and buyers. I am glad, i was offered to take part of the event which was a huge success. Thank you Parcha Guys!
One & that's it! I'm done with the bullet points.

Going to Milan was what me and my friend had planned ages ago... So we decided we'd go on certain dates until i ruined the plan by being miss last minute.com (so sorry) and missed the first day of the trip but i eventually got there on the second day. Well what do i know of Milan? Hmmm... Milan - Fashion Capital of Italy?, it was indeed a big city and no doubt pretty much most of them had their either Louis Vuitton /Chanel and more either on their on themselves, arms, hands or dragged. My first day was a bit bizarre trying to figure out this and that around the city. Getting on the train from the airport to the centre city was very beautiful. Italy sure has very beautiful landscapes and reminded me of being back home where i was surrounded by hills and mountains and i missed it so much. Italy sure had tons of beautiful people along with their trend. Due to language barrier and and me being very new to the city, i had very limited time to do this (Street scouting +photography) and i apologies if i am lacking.

Thank you!

Enjoy!

I began listening to Kina's songs on youtube since 2007 and had always wanted to see her live and when her europe tour began, i was excited and got my tickets asap... Gorgeous she is in screen and in live, I got mesmerized by her, her lovely voice and her guitar playing skills. Kina, it was great seeing you and a pleasure listening to your songs live... Come more often in London!!!

I have always been curious to know about Fashion Week...so I went along with my friend Swapnil and later was joined with my other friends and my cousins to find out what really goes on in there. Well I have say that being able to attend the London Fashion Week (LFW) itself was brilliant, having encountered many people with some of the coolest, unique, sexy (well you name it all) trends was an absolute delightful experience for me... I ran out of my business cards and in return collected a whole bunch of cards too.

So i have to say that i really didn't have the chance to go to everyday through the week, but was able to attend at least for 2 days which was a worth! Benefits for attending: I must say meeting the models, famous bloggers, celebrities and it goes on and on. Enjoy the pictures!

Wayyheyy!! Glad to post after awhile like usual, haha! but oh well better late than never, right?!

The last few weeks had made me a crazy woman who commutes from home to work and work to home non-stop...but Friday was different, started off by going to Wimbledon to give my LiUK test and passed woop woop, then met my friend down in Soho and headed to Carnaby Street to join the other lot of friends then we made our trip to Vintage Basement located in Brick Lane (A world of vintage clothing)! People should go and check out the shop!! So i met quite a few lovely awesome people on the way here and there!! For once, it felt nice to be out again!! Ahhh....!!!

This was a shoot done ages ago, it was meant to be for something that were to be published but due their cancellation on publication, these images remained untouched. About a day ago i was stuck with no internet and so i was browsing through old albums on my hard drive and that's when i came across this again, i hadn't edited any of them images so i decided to do some.... the shoot was also collaborated with Gyan Gurung!

Here are few portraits I took of them

2011-02-21T06:05:00.005+00:00

So another week has passed, and i am more eagered to get out there.....I'm sorry i meant to post this few days ago but since i've got a gig coming up, i've been held up with practices...
So for this week, i had planned to go to the skate park where few of my friends go and skate... i was fond of skate boarding when i was at my early teenage years but that was far ago... It certainly did bring back memories of times when i used to skate board and kick flip... but now i rarely dare to even step on it lol... The skaters were very friendly but most of them were shy (or i guess intimidated) when i asked if i could photograph them... All the shots of the skaters and bmx riders were shot @Southbank in London...

Thus far, i'm loving doing this project but it has become more complex when it comes to asking more about people because most of them are usually in a rush or they like to keep it personal.

P.S. - Thank you Swapnil for being a super support for the project... you've been a great help... damn you surely got the eyes for the hot stuffs lol :P
