How Will Prince George Spend His Fifth Birthday

PRINCE George of Cambridge is celebrating his fifth birthday today with his parents and two younger siblings.

So how are they marking the occasion?

Will Meghan and Harry join?

The family marked the special day by releasing a new photograph of the little Prince beaming from ear to ear.

George is the eldest child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and third in line to the throne. He is big brother to Princess Charlotte, three, and Prince Louis, two months.

The Cambridges tend to keep their children’s birthdays private family affairs.

The family of five are rumoured to be enjoying their first family summer holiday together on the island of Mustique in the Caribbean. Mustique has about 100 luxury villas and there is a no-fly zone over the area, which would be perfect for the Cambridges to enjoy some privacy while they celebrate their first born.

There have been whispers of a garden party planned for when the family gets back from holiday to celebrate the birthday with friends and family.

In that case, it is very likely Meghan and Harry will join in the fun to celebrate the little royal.

For now, however, we can only imagine George is spending his special day running around the white sand beaches of the exotic island while his parents enjoy some downtime. Read More from EXPRESS

KATE, the Duchess of Cambridge arrived at Wimbledon with her husband Prince William to watch the men's singles final following a girly day out with Meghan Markle at the women’s singles final yesterday.

Kate and William were seated in the royal box at Wimbledon’s Centre Court where Serbia's Novak Djokovic defeated South Africa's Kevin Anderson for the Grand Slam title.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked radiant in a sunshine yellow dress as she waved to fans at Wimbledon.

Before the match the royal couple were pictured talking to Australian former tennis player Rod Laver – who won Wimbledon in the men’s singles in 1961, 1962, 1968 and 1969 as well as the doubles in 1970, the mixed doubles in 1959 and 1960.

Mr Laver is considered one of the greatest tennis players of all time with 11 Grand Slam titles among his more than 200 titles – the most in tennis history.

This is the second time the Duchess of Cambridge has chosen to wear yellow to quintessentially British Grand Slam – in 2016, Kate wore a yellow form-fitting dress to Day 10 of the championship. Read more from EXPRESS.

This girls’ day out is one of a handful of instances Kate, who gave birth to Prince Louis just 12 weeks ago, will break her maternity leave agreement.

The mother-of-three will also be attending the men’s singles the day after with husband Prince William.

For Meghan this comes days after her two-day tour of Ireland, which was her first tour out the UK with her new husband Prince Harry.

Duchess Kate Wears the Spectacular Dacre Brooch at The Royal Flypast Today

It was hard to miss Kate's spectacular brooch that could be seen below the collar of her Alexander McQueen coat that she wore during the RAF centenary today.

However, some may be surprised to see it on the Duchess as The Dacre Brooch is usually only bestowed to those who are Air Cadets themselves and is said to be the highest honour that a female cadet can achieve.

Although the Duchess is not a cadet they seem to think she was deserving of the brooch. A spokesperson from Buckingham Palace says that the cadets presented the brooch to the Duchess as a gift following her appointment as Honorary Air Commandant of the organisation.

As the Honorary Air Commandant of the RAF Kate could be seen wearing Air Cadets Dacre brooch, known to be the highest award any female cadet can achieve as she arrived at Westminster Abbey for the service.

The mother-of-three opted for a tried and tested style as she wore the same Alexander McQueen coat worn to Prince Harry and Meghan's wedding but in a pale blue. Read more from The Daily Mail.

A beaming Duchess of Cambridge cradled Prince Louis in her arms as she carried him home following his christening on Monday afternoon.

Proud mother Kate, 36, gazed adoringly at her 11-week-old son as she left intimate service at Chapel Royal at St James's Palace, London, alongside a select group of family and close friends.

By her side was her husband the Duke of Cambridge, 36, who held hands with their oldest children Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, three, as they made their first public appearance as a family-of-five.

Mother of three Kate, 36, wore a primrose yellow silk tailored coat by Alexander McQueen - the label behind her own wedding gown - that she's previously worn on no less than three high profile occasions.

She was first seen in the designer piece for the christening of Princess Charlotte back in July 2015, and then wore it again a year later for the Trooping of the Colour in June 2016.

Now the hands-on parents of a growing brood, with three children under the age of five, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have come along way since they were fresh-faced students at St Andrews University in Scotland.

It was the love story of dreams - a young handsome prince, destined to be king one day, in love with a beautiful girl from an ordinary, middle-class background.

The Duchess and Duke of Cambridge introduced the newborn to the world coming out from the hospital's front door at about 5.53pm.

The smiling couple couldn't hide their excitement while waving to the crowd. Kate, who was holding the new Prince of Cambridge, stunned those outside the Lindo Wing with an amazing red Jenny Packham dress with a contrasting white collar.

She looked in good health after giving birth this morning to her as yet un-named prince, who is fifth in line to the throne. While the happy couple was posing for pictures, baby Cambridge, wrapped up against the cool spring weather, could be seen moving his tiny fingers.
