Kate has been sporting pretty rosy lips in recent outings complementing her messy blonde hair and the soft smoky eyes. I haven’t used lipstick for years now… lip gloss & lip stain are my lip’s BFF. The best lip stain I’ve ever used is Benefit’s benetint which gives me a wonderful, natural flush color. A little bit of lip balm over it and I’m ready! I mainly use it as lip stain but you can apply as blush. For those on a budget try CoverGirl’s Outlast Lipstain is a solid purchase for the price. By the way, I don’t know if smoking is the cause… Kate needs to take better care of her skin, right?

Kate was spotted wearing this adorable outfit recently in Paris. I am so in love with the cardigan she’s wearing. It’s a blue-orange cardigan by Marc Jacobs from Stylebop and they are great because they have free returns if what you buy doesn’t fit! What a bonus!

Kate Moss was the among the mourning attendees at Alexander McQueen’s funeral on Feb. 25th in London. Only the family, and close friends were gathered at the intimate service to pay their repects to one of the most eclectic designers of all time. Kate was one of his very dear friends.

Kate Moss recently gave 11 style tips to Glamour (March 2010). I summarized the piece in my own words.

Be spontaneous. No need to plan your outfit the day before.
Comfort is the key.
Be patient while shopping especially sifting through vintage clothes.
Choose a classic animal print bag (her own Longchamp zebra bag would be perfect).
Chandelier earrings add a dash of sophistication & glamour.
Hats are fashion essentials particularly fedoras.
Go for pirate boots - a touch of punk rock attitude is a cool look.
Bracelets are a great finishing touch to an outfit.
Can’t go wrong with skinny jeans.
Retro shades are timeless.
Shrunken blazers or cropped jackets are so chic.

This pic of Kate is old… her glorious style shines through time and time again, never trendy yet ever-so-chic. She’s one of the handful of celebs/models who’s style has aged well like a fine wine. I’ve always adored Kate’s long hair (now shorter) and that yummy leopard shoulder bag is quite lovely with her jeans and beat up tank. You can easily pull off this look now and it still looks cool. This is why I love her style so much… easy, effortless & timeless.
