Week 2 - Moving

Sorry, but we are moving and have nothing right now. I know I promised, but things happen, so I will update you when settled.

Week 1 - Slow Start

Well here is the first official blog of 2015 to start off the 52 weeks of awesome content! Unfortunately, there is not much awesome content in this one.

I finally got my Paasche DC600R compressor, my kit of 6 airbrush guns and a 6 channel manifold so I can star airbrushing my face and body art! I even got a good supply of ProAiir hybrid paints that are highly water resistant, but removal easily with mild soap! Now I don't have to worry about kids sweating it off or jumping in the pool during the summer and their faces washing off.

I did have to order a few parts before actually getting to use them, so there is no video or awesome photos just yet, but here are a couple photos of what I got!

As the new year is here, I have decided to add another 52 weeks to this blog. That means I will be posting weekly blogs starting today!

Every Thursday will be a new blog entry that will cover what has happened with me and my businesses. Yes, both my face/body painting and my photography businesses. This may include a lot of photos, a few videos and maybe a tutorial or 2, all within one weekly blog entry.

I may post several entries during the week, but the majority will be on the Thursday posts.These will also be automatically shared with my Facebook Page, so you can keep up to date there if you use Facebook a lot. This means you don't have to bookmark this blog, just like the page and check the "Get Notifications" portion.

Day 366 - Bonus!

Well, 2011 was a very eventful year and I did cause some problems earlier on in it, but in all it ended pretty good. This is the last entry in this blog and I will not be adding anymore to it.

Last night was fun and KatManDiva had a blast celebrating her very first New Year party. My friend and apprentice, April Garland, was my model last night and we did not have the best lighting to work with. I started out just painting some designs on her and because KatManDiva had an open back in her dress, she practiced some lace work I showed her. I got a few customers, but then got really bored and you can see what I did to April by the end of the night. Her man came by after work and had a blast himself and loved what I did to April! In all, it was fun and the reactions KatManDiva got were priceless! Here are the photos from last night, enjoy and have a HAPPY NEW YEAR & may our lives be fruitful and fun!

Yes, only 3 more days until the end of this blog and I bet you are happy for this. The blog didn't go as I would have hoped, but in all it is there for everyone to see. I am going to be starting a new blog the 1st of the year and it will be completely different. I don't even know what it will be about, but we will just have to see!

Day 355 - Awesome Day!

Well it is only 10 more days until the end of this blog and only 4 more days to Christmas. As I am not a religious person and the holiday name no longer really means what it stands for, I will continue to call it Christmas.

Today was fun and had a blast with painting 3 girls! I will have photos up tomorrow along with another video.

Day 346,347 & 348 - Procrastinating

So I have been procrastinating again and forgot the past couple of days. Been working through a few issues with Facebook and some friends and have been staying up to late doing stuff. I am posting this and then going to bed!

I was talking in one of my groups about the Flying Spaghetti Monster: http://www.venganza.org/ and I noticed on their website they had no face paintings in their Arts & Crafts sections, so I did one and submitted it to them. Here are the photos, and until tomorrow (HOPEFULLY), HAPPY PAINTING!

Day 342 - No Week In Review!

I have decided since I have not done much this past week and there is not much I can tell you, a Week in Review video would be pointless. I have also been sick and really don't feel like doing a tutorial right now. I may do one or two this weekend, but I am just going to try to get better before I do anymore.

Also, FABATV is working on getting the videos edited from the Paint-A-Thon and they should be out next week. I will keep you updated on this.

Been down with a cold and trying to figure out when FABATV is going to release the videos so you can see what you missed if you didn't get to see the Paint-A-Thon. UPDATE, PLEASE READ
To all my friends and supporters,
I made this video 4 months ago just before school was about to start. I was 13. It was a very emotionally dark time in my life. I made the video at 4:00am in the morning; I hadn't been sleeping at night for a long time, too many things going on in my head. I was dreading going back to school and I had not come out to my family yet. Only my closest friends knew. I didn't know how to say what I needed to say. All I could think about were all the bad things that had been happening at school last year, every year for that matter. I just couldn't bare to go through that anymore. I was done being fake happy, pretending hateful words didn't hurt, done hiding it from my family.
So this video was made for my friends that had moved on to High School who were worried for me, to say to them that I was going to take a stand, and to the haters at my middle school that I'm not going anywhere. I am who I am. I posted the video here and told people were to find it. That was it.
My friends were moved by the video and thought I did something important. I was encouraged to upload it to my Facebook page so more people could see it. Maybe it could help someone else going through the same thing. So I linked it Dec. 1st. My Parents saw it for the first time Dec, 2nd.
Then..... all this happened.
I never expected in a million years that it would have such a wonderful impact on so many people. I am truly humbled and truly thankful for all the love, encouragement and support from people all over the world. It's been incredibly overwhelming. I don't know what to say. Thank you so, so much!
Lastly, yes you have seen me happy in a couple short videos replies I posted; I would think that would be a good thing , and yes I do have friends, my High School friends, and I have made friends because when I came out they realized that they had hurt me and that they fealt sorry. The video is real, and true.
In the last few months everything eventually came out in the open, I felt a huge weight off my shoulders; I'm happy, I'm excepted for who I am, I'm more confident and feel stronger every day.

Day 338 - You are STRONG!

Jonah Mowry is a bullied Gay teen who is tired of it all, but is not going to end his life because of it! He is STRONGER than that and has a million REASONS to be here!

Why do people have to make a big deal out of whether a person is Gay or Straight, Black or White, Asian or American, Smart or Dumb, Religious or Non-Religious, etc.? IT DOESN'T!!!

We are all NOT the same, we are just UNIQUE! STOP THE BULLYING NOW!!!
