aspects of J-Culture. I think the venue is now too

small for the huge following it has

gathered over the years. Hopefully it can be in

a bigger place next time !

MAC NC42, NARS Syracuse= Missha #31 BB Cream?

Hmm well not quite as you can see ! Unfortunately this shade is still too light
& it is the darkest BB cream there is from a Korean brand so far.
It almost matches but it is a bit too light and pinky toned. It makes me look
washed out/ashy ! Lol : ) Ah well ! A little pump of your normal
or maybe even a darker foundation will do the trick if you still want to try
this BB Cream ! It does perfect the skin especially for when filming - it makes you
look flawless ! It also minimizes pores & is very opaque. A little goes a long way !
I wish it was a bit darker and more yellow/warm toned. I think I am on the darker side
of the NC42 spectrum so it could work for some !

Asos Beauty Insider Event !

I got invited to my first event ! Yayyy ! I've been going to a few these days
such as Paul & Joe, Smooch Cosmetics, Ciate and the one I blogged
about previously. But, those were all through my job.

It was at the HQ & was SO amazing. Im glad I had the opportunity recently to
go to other events because I had something to compare the Asos beauty insider
event to. OMG - it was frikkin amazing ! We got to go behind the scenes
to take a peek at the new beauty collections by many cool brands such as Benefit,
Nars, Illamasqua, Nails inc, Ciate etc ! I actually went to the Asos event
straight after the Ciate event in Oxford circus. It was a very busy night !

There were also some beauty treatments going on such as manicures, hand massages
& blow drying. I got my nails done with some awesome nail wraps ! You can see
my thumb in a photo above !

One of my favourite parts of the night was getting to go into the catwalk room. I remember seeing
this on the internet so to see it in real life was sooo coool ! A couple of bloggers strutted their
stuff and took pics but I was too shy ! Lol !

The staff at the event were extremely kind and very approachable. If they saw you were alone they would come up and chat to you. Omg - did I mention they let us choose a piece of clothing to take home for free ? Asos I love you !

Stylesuzi, Britpopprincess etc ! (Blogger Event)

Omg you guys ! Yesterday I attended a blogger event called "Beauty and the Brain"
There was a panel discussion & britpopprincess, fashionrocksmysocks, stylesuzi
and wandesworld were up on stage answering questions. It was such a cool
experience & so amazing to see them in real life ! Not only that but we got to film all the
girls and interview them privately ! They were all so pretty & nice in real life.
They all spoke so well considering there were loads of people in the audience ! I would have
been soo scared ! There was a Q&A session with the audience as well and my coworker asked "What was the weirdest comment that you have received?" Their answers were quite funny !

Nyx lipsticks are so great ! The jumbo milk pencil is
a cult fav.

Rimmel is one of the best drugstore brands in the UK.
Amazing quality ! Love the brow pencils.

Cant live without the palettes !

The Natural Palette is so freaking gorgeous !

I still havent got a Naked Palette but Im not sure

One of my fav drugstore skincare brands. The
Normaderm Anti Imperfection stuff is great.

I am loving the youtube channel Vice ! If you havent checked it out definitely
do so ! They go EVERYWHERE making documentaries about random,
obscure or dangerous topics. I love how they go off the beaten path and deliver
raw interviews with people that have even committed crimes. Its so interesting how
they go so deep into the culture and dont just report on topics we already know about.
They seem to have no fear. Ive learned tons ! They also open your eyes to some insane
social injustices and extremely disturbing things going on in the world. For example
about how there are actually slaves in Dubai building the amazing hotels and massive
buildings. Wtf ?!

Here is one freaky/interesting one I watched recently. Drugs are truly ruining the world.

These vids are a treat when you are bored and just wanna watch something interesting...

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation - Tahoe

Great Coverage, Lovely Finish.Perfect Foundation for everyday use !

MAC Studio Finish Concealer NC42

Full Coverage concealer amazing for covering dark scars on the face and sculpting the

eyebrows. Has a drier finish than other concealers so dont use too much.

Might not be the best for under the eyes.

MSF Powder in Medium/Dark

This is the powder that I use to set my makeup. Honestly I dont get the hype.

Next time ill opt for a drugstore powder. Its definitely decent

but nothing insanely good. I really did enjoy my true match powder just as much.

Im going to use it up - dont wanna waste it as it was quite expensive !

Loreal Super Liner - Perfect Slim

Decent liner with a good brush. Intensely black. Does rub off a bit after a while.

Will opt for a trusty Japanese one soon. I like Japanese ones the best but for now

I do use this one everyday. I also love Blacktrack Fluidline.

Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil - Dark Brown

Really good pencil for a cheap drugstore price ! Its not too sheer or too pigmented !

I dont have sparse brows so I use a light hand with this but if you are someone with

sparse brows - you could definitely get a dark enough colour. Love it :)

Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara

I bounce between this one and the Max Factor False Lash Effect. Max Factor

do some good mascaras ! I really love both for voluminous, lengthened & seperated

lashes that dont look all clumpy and crazy.

Miss Tangerine Follow Me Tint

Here is my trusty Etude House tint. I love my tints for day to day wear.

I always put a tint under my lipsticks !

Here are the 3 brushes I use for my base makeup every day. I use the definer brush by Real Techniques to shape my brows - something I never used to do as

I didnt know wtf I was doing. But, now Im getting the hang of it :D I was cursed with

weird massive brows. I use the fluffy ELF Complexion brush for powder and blush

and the Real Techniques buffing Brush for my liquid foundations !

Sleek Au Naturel Palette

Staple palette for loads of people ! It has light highlighting shades, cool shimmery

shades...a lovely matte brown which could also be used for brows

and an intense matte black which is useful in any palette. Its definitely

a HG product for me ! Ive dropped it loads of times and the shadows never cracked !

I use it almost everyday... seriously. I love it ! I love Sleek as a whole really.

Dream Nude Airfoam - Sun Beige

Very Light coverage...Dont like the finish on my face.

After smooshing the foam down theproduct is very liquidy and thin.

Sun Beige is a bit too light for me but the next one down was too dark.

Nothing much to say about it really. The foam is fun but Im not going to be using

this anytime soon. Could be nice if you are looking for something with

very light coverage.

Bourjouis Healthy Mix Serum - 58

Nice dewy/natural finish ... not enough coverage for my face though.

Lovely smell. Would be perfect for people with rather good skin.

This is #58 and its slightly too dark on my face. Doesnt last for more than a few hours

on my slightly oily skin. The #58 in the regular foundation gets a 8/10 and its a great color

match. The serum is darker than the foundation. I finished a bottle of the regular foundation

and will be repurchasing soon. Wont repurchase the serum or use it often.

Sleek New Skin Revive - Praline

7.5/10

I really like this foundation. Very natural finish - not dewy or matte.

You do get medium coverage up to an extent but your own skin does

show thru a bit. Its very smooth because of the silicone base. However, silicone

can break people out being that the skin cant breathe. I did

get 2 pimples a few days later after using it for the first time. Not 100% if

it was from the foundation or not.

Why I cannot stand 50 Shades of Grey

...very attractive, i know.

1. The characters talk like they are 20 something going on 90.

2. They are meant to be American but sound British.

3. The way the book is written is generally dry & crappy.

4. Mr. Grey is a controlling, psycho bastard and it pisses me off.

5. The fact that Ana can orgasm in 3.5 seconds from weird SHXT irritates me

6. I cant even progress past chapter 13 & I hate not finishing books

7. The sexual scenes are boring.com

8. The hype surrounding the book makes me angry

I just hope the movie is good...the basic story is interesting...But I literally cannot sit

and finish this book. Its too damn boring. Ive seen a lot of people say

they dislike the book but at the same time its addictive. I dont find it addictive at all.

Its just aggravating to me ! I wonder who they will cast for the movie.

Since Ana says 100,000 times in a few pages that Mr. Grey is amazingly

attractive...let me think for a moment who could be cast.

Im thinking a mixture of Jude Law, Robert Pattinson & Johnny Depp's intensity

& acting skill...Does this person exist ?

I have no idea...who do you think should be Mr. Grey in the movie ?

How to get started in Nail Art

To get started doing cute nail art there are some necessities in order to make
a variety of designs and looks.

The 10 top things you will need are:

1. Base Coat
2. Polishes
3. Rhinestones
4. Glitter
5. Striper Brush
6. Short Tip Brush
7. Nail Art Pen
8. Nail Dotting Tool
9. Basecoat
10. Nail Polish Remover w/ q-tip (for mistakes)

However, not all of them are necessary...only if you want to have a full collection and
not use household items like matches in place of a dotting tool. Totally up to you !

You can get ALL of these things on ebay if not at your local beauty supply or even
drugstore.

My favorite nail polish brands that never dissapoint me are: OPI, Models Own, Barry M,
Etude House & Essie to name a few.

Models own do good nail art pens. My least favorite are the marker-tip ones from
Sally Hansen.

Lipstick Collection Part 1 !

I absolutely love lipsticks ! I spend more money on beauty products than
clothes or shoes hands down! In this video I show you some swatches on my lips
instead of on the back of my hand so you can see the colors better.
When choosing most of my NYX lipsticks I first watched videos which gave me
ideas of which ones I would like to purchase. Hope it helps in some way :)

I LOVE these ! I love the smell... Love the colors, texture, finish ... everything !

They arent as long lasting as a mattelipstick but I totally love them.

My fav is 08 Asia : )

Collection 2000 Cream Puff Lip Cream

My favorite and the most popular I think is Fairy Cake. Its a gorgeous coral color

that brightens your whole face. These go on like a thick lipgloss & dry

matte like a lipstick. They come in a few different shades. Make

sure you moisturise your lips first and you will be fine !

Sleek True Color Lipsticks

I think these are a fav of everyone ! I mainly purchase the matte ones as

they look the best in my opinion. My favorite of all the ones they have out
is "Bare All" Its a lovely matte peach. Very complimentary !

How to Get Claw Nails

I ran out of my seche vite ... realised it was all dried up whilst filming the tutorial

for this nail look FML ! I instantly got dents and nicks in the polish.

As soon as I finished filming I ordered a bottle on ebay lol !

Its my crack - I neeeeed it ! It makes your nails set sooo much better than

anything else I've tried so far.

My Top 5 Etude House Products

These are in no particular order. My current favs *at the moment*

1. AC Clinic Toner & Mist - Technically 2 products but whatever :)
These items are for Acne prone skin and I really like how the toner makes my face feel so clean
after using it. The mist is nice for refreshing the face with added benefits
for clearing the skin.

2. Follow me Tints

I think these are discontinued as its super hard to find them anywhere.

I dont know if they still sell them in Korea but you can still find them on ebay

and I HIGHLY recommend you try them. They will keep color on your lips after lipstick

has worn off & they are moisturising and wonderful .

The aqua one turns fuschia on the lips and the orange one turns a coral color.

Its magical !

3. Sheet Masks

I LOVE Asian sheet masks. Ive tried almost all of the different ones from Etude House.

They are cheap and make your face feel refreshed and supple. I dont even need

a moisturizer after using one. You can wear them to sleep as well

if you dont sleep wild like me. Haha !

4. Baking Powder BB Deep Cleansing Foam

I love this cleanser ! It has a light fresh citrus scent. Its slightly sticky and thick so it clings onto

left over dirt or makeup and washes it out. The baking powder also serves as a light exfoliator

to make your skin look even better.

5. Silky Cotton Pads

I know this is random but I love them ! Loads of brands make them but the real 5th fav
I wanted to show is discontinued. I will put it at the end. Anyway, these sorts of pads make
using toner and nail polish remover so much easier ! They do not break apart. I love them !

Here is my real 5th fav but I dont know where you can find them anymore :(
They were so good because they were black and you could see all the gunk
super clearly...I think other Asian brands do similar black ones though :D

So yep ! Those are my top favs : ) I also like the cleansing wipes,

aloe line, other tints etc. Etude house do really

amazing lip tints and glosses. Check em out !

Im in LOVE with London. There are always so many lovely things to see,
do and BUY. Oh god, its so easy to go broke here. Your money goes so fast.
Especially since Bermuda's money is worth the same as American dollars. The pound
just killllssss me. I have been here for 10 months now. Time has flown by. Its actually
insane ! British people are so kind... the city feels a lot calmer and more civilised
compared to some other big cities Ive been to. People don't even honk their horns if you
J-Walk most of the time & say sorry for things that aren't their fault ! Lol !

My mom and grandma are visiting me...They are leaving tomorrow actually

It was fun while they were here. Im not sure when the next time is

Ill be going to Bermuda is. Its weird. When I was in Canada, I was always dying

to go back to Bermuda for a trip but now... London seriously just feels so

comfortable - like home. Im seriously considering living here for a long time.
