Showa Era Timeline

Showa Timeline is the timeline of the main Continuity in the Ultra Series, also known as the Showa Universe. It is in this universe where the bulk of the Ultra shows take place, along with the events of the Mega Monster Battle shows.

Transformation of the Residents of the Land of Light
- Two hundred and seventy thousand years before the formation of the ZAP Spacy, a race of human-like beings lived in a peaceful technological utopia. Unfortunately, the peaceful society lived on a planet orbiting a red giant star near the end of its life. The sun died, with their ancestors surviving only because of their advanced technology, but they were left in perpetual darkness without their sun. For an unknown amount of time, planet Ultra's greatest scientific minds came together and eventually devised a replacement for their sun, the Plasma Spark.
- A tower was built so this artificial star could illuminate the planet, saving it and its people from freezing to death in the cold of space. During work on the project one of the two workers were exposed to the 'Differentior Rays' and transformed into a silver being. Upon study it was found that they were incredibly strong. Among other numerous abilities, their bodies generated chemicals that could enhance their strength, could fire energy beams from their hands and could change their sizes at will. The Elder who then ruled the planet decided that all of his people should gain these powers and the project continued. When activated the planet was bathed in the Plasma Spark's light and it's people. The warming glow of the Land of Light reached the neighbouring L77, allowing their people to become Ultras too. At some point after the activation of the Plasma Spark, one of the Ultras who helped create it ultimately became the planet's ruler.
Battles and Wars
- Zagi's Attack : At an undefined point after the creation of the Plasma Spark, Dark Zagi arrived at the Land of Light after escaping to the Showa universe through a Space-Time rip created by the Visitors' attempt to stop Zagi. Once on the Land of Light, Zagi was fiercely resisted by the Ultra Brothers and the Space Garrison, but managed to hold them off until his counterpart, Ultraman Noa, arrived through the rip as well. Noa expelled Zagi back to their home Universe and returned as well sealing the rupture from his side. In the process of sealing the tear, he had lost so much energy that he was forced to devolve, into The Next
- Great Ultra War : Alien Empera led an army of monsters to invade the Land of Light, it is known that he had taken control of the Land of Light after leading the most successful attack on the Ultras, something that various enemies of the Ultras had trouble doing. However, his reign was short-lived as the giants of light fought back, initiating the battle between light and darkness. At the end of the war, Alien Empera and Ultraman Ken engaged in their famous duel that decided the fate of the Land of Light. The result came to a draw and both powerful fighters earned mirroring scars on their hips as a reminder of their brutal battle. Empera, weakened by Ken's Ultimate Sword, fled into hiding for generations. The Ultra Bell was constructed to destroy Empera's army. After this, the Ultra Bell was kept as a national treasure, and kept near the Plasma Spark in the event that it would ever be needed again.
- Belial's Invasion : Ultraman Belial was a young and promising warrior. However, greed corrupted his mind, and he tried to steal energy from the Plasma Spark, only to be repelled and injured by the energy. As a result, his fellow Ultra, Ken included, banished him from the Land of Light. He eventually crashed on a moon like celestial body, still suffering from his Plasma Spark Induced wounds. Here, he met Alien Reiblood and was forcibly transformed into an Ultra Reionyx by fusing with him. He then led an army of 100 monsters to attack the Land of Light while making his way towards the Plasma Spark. Although Belial managed to defeat the leaders, many Ultras including, Zoffy, Father of Ultra and Mother of Ultra, he was defeated by Ultraman King, and sealed within a prison on the planet's moon, now called the Space Prison.
- Galtan Invasion : Mentioned when King Galtan appeared in Ultraman 80. The Galtan race planned a full on invasion of the Ultra Planet. They were very close to success but a Ultra warrior killed the Galtan prince forcing the Galtans to retreat until 1981.
- The Science Patrol : The United Nations forms the Special Science Search Party or the Science Patrol to investigate such occurrences. Numerous countries in the world are granted SSSPs, with the headquarters being located in France.
- Terrestrial Defense Force : The United Nations forms the Terrestrial Defense Force to protect the Earth from large scale attacks. The TDF eventually colonizes some of space including the moon.

Period

1966
- After a lot of monster attacks were reported, the SSSP formed for the first time in order to track down hostile aliens and monsters.
- The original Ultraman tried to track down Bemular to Earth, who has recently escaped from the Monster Graveyard. However, his Travel Sphere accidentally crashed with a young man named Shin Hayata, who was on a patrol with his Delta VTOL plane. Hayata was killed in the same crash, but out of remorse, Ultraman gave Hayata his own life, and merged their bodies to keep him alive while giving him his Beta Capsule which enabled him to transform into Ultraman while facing the monster.
1967
- After almost a year since Ultraman's arrival on Earth, a group of Alien Zetton infiltrates the SSSP Base and destroy the base's supercomputers. Before the Alien Zetton were killed, one of them activates the self-destruct mechanism on their spaceships, releasing the space dinosaur Zetton. Hayata as Ultraman died by the hands of the space dinosaur itself. The SSSP were forced to use their effort to destroy the monster. Alas, Zetton was finally blown into pieces by Arashi, who uses an Anti-Gravity missile while targeting Zetton's face. Zoffy arrives, splitting Ultraman from his human host with his own Beta Capsule while granting the human a second life, leaving an amnesiac Hayata who forgot everything since Bemular's arrival.
- Some time later, Ultraman returns to Earth while fusing with Hayata again. However, Ultraman felt a huge loss in confidence and physical strength due to his demise at the hands of Zetton. So weak he had become, the Space Patrol was saving Ultraman's life from the monsters, instead of himself saving the humans. Of course Ultraman wasn't the only one heavily affected, Hayata also was suffering, and even Arashi suggested him to take stamina drinks to recover his energy.
- At one point, Hayata's Ultra power senses the arrival of another invasion by the Zettonian army. Another Zetton attacked the Space Patrol's HQ, whereas at the same time another Red King was causing chaos. Luckily enough, a Pigmon communicated with Ide and told him what was bound to happen. History repeated itself and Pigmon was killed in the hands of Red King. Hayata, after watching him die, got angry and turned into Ultraman. Ultraman defeated the evil kaiju, however, for everyone's bad luck, a huge army of monsters were reawakened. Ultraman had no choice, he took the decision of heavily absorbing the sun's energy, and managed to create various clones of himself to fight each monster at the same time. Ultraman defeated them all, but if things couldn't turn worse, a second Zetton was attacking the Space Patrol HQ, and thus Hayata was forced to fight him once again. In the epic clash between the two, Ultraman gets badly hurt, and just when he was about to be defeated by the hands of Zetton once again, Dr. Iwamoto created a device that boosts the energy of the sun inside Ultraman and gave for Arashi. Arashi agrees and shoots at Zetton with the device, the energy was so powerful Zetton couldn't withstand the energy, and exploded into pieces.
- A Space Patrolman named Zoffy comes to save Ultraman and separate him with Hayata after giving a life to Hayata, Ultraman finally truly finished his mission on Earth, he separates from Hayata again and returned to the Land of Light./li>
- To replace the SSSP, the Ultra Garrison was founded.
- Later in 1967, Ultraseven was sent out to scout the Milky Way galaxy, and witnessed a young mountain climber almost fall to his death in order to save his friend's life in Earth. Taking the form of the man, but not his body, Ultraseven joined the Ultra Garrison under the name of Dan Moroboshi.
- Using the Ultra Eye to transform, Ultraseven fought many times against many different Kaiju.
1968
- Close to a year after Ultraseven arrived on Earth, his Superior told Seven if he fought one more time, he would die, but Ultraseven was debating whether to fight Pandon (a kaiju controlled by Alien Goth) or not. Soon, Seven fought Pandon, and flew away, with his strength extremely depleted, he was able to make it home with Pandon destroyed.

From this point onwards, the events of Ultraman and Ultraseven are placed in the same timeline. The Showa Universe is officially created by Tsuburaya with this unification of the two show's canons.

Alternate Versions

Ultraman : The Great Decisive Battle (1979) : This movie has several canons to the Showa Universe for example the Ultra Brothers including Leo and Astra. But some major differences is that Ultraman was sent to Earth by Ultraman King to help the SSSP, Joneus being canon with M78 and Ultraman 80 not being present.
Ultraman : The Adventure Begins :
Ultraman : Towards the Future :
- Jack Shindo and Stanley Haggard are members of the first manned expedition to Mars, and on the red planet find a giant slug-like monster, Goudes/Gudis. Suddenly the giant warrior, Ultraman, arrives and fights Goudes, but is knocked down for a period. Jack is pinned by a rockslide and Stanley tries to escape in their ship but is blown up by Gudis. It is then that Ultraman gets up, and when he is on the verge of victory Gudis changes into a virus and travels to Earth, where it plans on corrupting all life, mutating other creatures into monsters and awakening existing ones.
- Needing a human host to survive on Earth, Ultraman joins with Jack, allowing him to become the mighty alien when all seems lost. He joins the Universal Multipurpose Agency, or UMA, in order to help them battle the monsters.
- Halfway through the series Gudis reappears, more powerful than before. It imprisons Ultraman, but Jack distracts it by ultimately showing it the futility of its mission. Even if it does manage to corrupt all life, eventually there will be nothing else to corrupt. The distraction allows Ultraman to break free and destroy Gudis once and for all. For the rest of the series the environmental themes are stronger and the monsters usually arise from human pollution.
- In the series finale, a doomsday scenario begins with the appearance of three powerful monsters: Kilazee, Kodalar, and the Earth itself, which tries to wipe out the human race for abusing it. Ultraman is defeated by Kodalar, but Jack survives. Ultimately the humans use an ancient disc to destroy Kodalar by reflecting its own power at it and Ultraman defeats Kilazee and carries it into space, separating Jack from him and restoring him on Earth as a normal human. The victory is seen as another chance for the human race.
Ultraman : The Ultimate Hero :
- The Powered Baltan race conducts an invasion of Earth, with their opposition, Ultraman Powered chasing them and following them to the Earth, where he proves to be unable to survive without a human host. Powered chooses Kenichi Kai - a young member of WINR, and he gives Kenichi a Beta Capsule to transform.
- Powered with the help of Kenichi and ultimately WINR, he fought and defeated many monsters and aliens desiring to terrorize the Earth.
- In the end, Powered was wounded and defeated by Dorako, but not before Powered was able to destroy the monster before disappearing. Kenichi was found by Young, who discovered he had also received the same as wound as Powered, and even found the Flash Prism.
- Kenichi Kai was hospitalized, and had one last conversation with Powered that he was sorry Kenichi was injured because of him and Powered didn't want it to happen again. He departed on his own to fight Zetton. Powered encouraged Kai, that though he may leave, 'his light is everywhere', and people need only find it. Powered then ended their bond and went to engage Zetton. Kai awoke, with his teammates waiting, and admitted that Powered was leaving. After Powered destroyed Zetton, he collapsed from exhaustion and was taken home by his comrades. As WINR remained unsure of their future, Kenichi recited Powered's parting words, giving the team encouragement for what was to come next..

Abilities

Ultra Powers : It can be assumed that Belial possessed all the standard powers of an Ultra, but from dialogue in the Ultra Galaxy movie, one can assume they were much greater than the typical Ultra warrior. Despite his transformation it is only natural that he still possesses these abilities, albeit in Reiblood forms. It has also been stated that Belial was a comrade of Ultraman Ken in the great Ultra War and a contender for the rank of Supreme Commander.

Ultraman Zora

kayling66@groups.facebook.com (KayLing88 Network Links) — Mon, 24 Sep 2018 14:21:00 +0000

Ultraman Zora is a rookie warrior hailing from the Primordial Light Universe, who finds himself lost in the Ultra-Fan Multiverse, harnessing the powers of legendary Ultra Warriors to do battle against the forces of those corrupted by the Dao Factor. Zora is rather shy and almost always remains calm.

He is very "down to Earth" and treats all situations at hand seriously. He does not believe in "the power of friendship" and concepts alike, thinking of them as childish and stupid. He is also an introvert, not socializing much and preferring to do things by himself. Additionally, the concept of "heroism" is a very touchy subject for him.

He believes that Ultras such as King are not worthy of being referred to as heroes, he thinks of them as cowards that think they can build a reputation for themselves as great and wise warriors by appearing only "when they are truly needed", something he disagrees with, believing that a true hero shouldn't pick and chose when they act, and rather rush to the rescue when something or someone is in trouble. Zora likes Earth very much, but not for the reasons someone might expect. Since he first came to Earth, he has taken a liking towards Earth's food, more specifically, cheese. Born and raised in the Land of Light, Zora idolized warriors of the Space Garrison from an young age. Both his parents were high-ranking warriors and wished to raise him into a great hero like them one day.

Zora was still young when this happened, about 5 in human years, and was emotionally scarred. His aunt, another high ranking Ultra Warrior raised him, trying to help him recover. Years passed and eventually he grew up and trained to join the Space Garrison. Thanks to him still being emotionally scarred, he was not very social and his aunt refused to teach him, believing that another Ultra Warrior should do it to help Zora socialize more. Ultraman was put in charge of training him. During his time training with Ultraman, he met his son, Junior and the two of them got along very well. When Zora training was done, he was free to venture off to space.

Ultraman Orb Dark is a dark version of Ultraman Orb, appearing in the series Ultraman R/B. While simply called Orb Dark in most cases, Makoto gives it the name Ultraman Orb Dark Noir Black Schwarz. Thus making the fact that the latter three words of his name are simply indications to his body color. It should also be noted that these three words were given by Makoto/Cereza. Makoto Aizen abducted several people to unlock the Orb Origin Crystal and after achieving that, he obtained the Orb Ring NEO.

He first demonstrated the power of Ultraman Orb Dark on Ultramen Rosso and Blu after chastising them for not living up to the standards of "actual" Ultramen, giving both of them a senseless defeat before sparing them. Ironically, he would use this newfound alter-ego to perform various heroic deeds (which all of them were planned from the beginning) in hopes of garnering popularity from the townspeople. Rosso and Blu would later challenge him for a return match, this time calling out on his hypocrisy for being glory seekers and turn the tides with both Victory Crystal and their training.

Ultraseven's Superior is a being from the Land of Light that appears in the last two episodes of the Ultraseven series. While unnamed in the original series, he was refered to as Alien M78 in the script, and in the TNT English Dub he is named Rutler. Also known as Constant Observer of Point No. 340 as Seven was also known as Star Charter No. 340. He appears exactly like Ultraseven, with no difference at all.

Ultraseven

Ultraseven fought so much on Planet Earth, his energy was almost depleted, after Dan Moroboshi was weakened, he decided to rest. Suddenly, a hologram of a being similar to Ultraseven, appeared in front of Dan, telling him that he is unable to fight, and that he should go back to his home world, Dan refuses, as he wants to stay on Earth to keep defending it, the hologram begins to get angry, and takes Moroboshi's Ultra Eye and throws it at a clock.

Personality

This character's personality is very similar to Zoffy's, he acts with a dominant and serious nature, but is shown a caring side as he sees Seven in grave danger. However, a trace is seen in him that is not seen in any other Ultra, in that he didn't care for humanity at all. Also there is the fact that Seven's superior never came to Earth, the Ultra Brothers all came to adore the people of Earth due to their prolonged time on the planet while he had not and therefore bore no connection to humanity. Seven's original series was meant to be more mature and was originally intended to be separate from Ultraman's despite the two coming from the same place.

Redman

kayling66@groups.facebook.com (KayLing88 Network Links) — Sat, 05 Aug 2017 08:15:00 +0000

Redman is a peace-loving alien from Planet Red in the Red Nebula. Redman's history and back story were not stated in his series itself, but magazines stated that Redman was an alien that came to Earth after invaders destroyed his home planet and merged with Officer Sakomizu of the SIA.

Redman earned the nickname Red Phantom Killer from fans because of excessive aggression he displayed in fights. In comparison to Ultraman, Redman's fights are typically far more aggressive and powerful, and Redman relies mostly on brute force and vicious slashes with his weapons, as opposed to the elegantly choreographed punches and kicks that are associated with the Ultramen.

Redman specializes in hand-to-hand combat. Usually weakening his opponent with punches and kicks and finishing them off with his weapons. He did not use many beam attacks in the series because of budget. He also has some techniques which are used less frequently, such as stabbing a monster with a Red Arrow or Red Knife while riding on it, decapitating a monster with a Red Knife and bashing a monster's head repeatedly on the ground before breaking its cervical spine by turning its head backwards.

After a monster has already fallen unconscious, Redman still pierces it with a Red Arrow to ensure it does not survive. If there are multiple monsters, he may impale them one by one.

Ultraman Belial

kayling66@groups.facebook.com (KayLing88 Network Links) — Sat, 13 Aug 2016 02:00:00 +0000

Ultraman Belial was a very powerful Ultra Warrior, until greed overcame him and he tried to steal the Plasma Spark. After his failure, he was banished and transformed by Rayblood into an Ultra Reionics. His assaults against the Land of Light ended in failure after being sealed away by Ultraman King, later on foiled by Ultraman Zero thousands of years later during his freedom. He would later establish an empire in Another Space before Zero foils him again, resulting in his death.

As a lingering spirit, Belial sought the help of several aliens and possessed Zero but his defeat allowed him to be revived. In Ultraman Geed, Belial orchestrated the Omega Armageddon and triggered the Crisis Impact and fathered a child/clone named Ultraman Geed. Belial's most notable personality traits are his greed and pride. He is unwilling to share power and will often kill those who try to rule beside him. However in Geed, he seems to have a sense of recognition towards his own son despite the differences in their alignment in a similar way to most parents. Upon seeing into his mind during their final battle, Geed remarks that Belial is filled not only rage over his banishment, but sorrow, implying that deep down Belial is saddened by his banishment but will never admit to it, nor the fact that his own actions caused it in the first place. Geed also states that Belial is fatigued by his countless resurrections but too consumed by his hatred to ever let go. Belial himself does not refute this idea, and merely expressed rage at the idea Geed could ever understand his pain.

He is able to defeat an army of Ultras without much effort and only Ultraman King, Zero, and Geed have been able to defeat him. Although Father of Ultra staggered Belial before he was hit in his wound. With the Giga Battle Nizer, he is able to control an army of monsters and channel his energy into attacks. Using Belial Virus energy through his claws, Belial can inject this into lifeforms and make them into his servants. He is shown capable of monstrous transformations such as Beryudora and Arch Belial by absorbing monsters and mediums like the Emeralds of Esmeralda.

Mega Monster Battle : Ultra Galaxy Legends The Movie

In ancient times, Ultraman Belial was a great Ultra Warrior, and a comrade of Ultraman Ken. The two fought together in the Great Ultra War against Alien Empera, who impressed Belial with his power. Afterwards when Ken was elevated to the position of the Space Garrison's Supreme Commander and not him, Belial was consumed mentally by his hurt pride, and decided to siphon energy from the Plasma Spark to obtain more power. When he had the chance, he went to the Plasma Spark Tower, and was about to grab the Plasma Spark's core, but the light emanating from it was too strong for him to resist, he started screaming in agony and pain because of the light's power. The Space Garrison captured him, and he was exiled from the Land of Light for such an act was against the planet's highest safety regulations, meaning that Belial had threatened the safety of the entire planet for his pride.

Battle at The Monster Graveyard

Ultraman Belial arrived at the Monster Graveyard, where he used the Plasma Spark to revive his entire army of monsters, forming the Belial Army. As the survivors of his attack arrived, Belial was surprised to see the Ultra Brothers, but he was more surprised when he saw Rei. After the young Reionics refused an offer to join him, Belial released his entire army at once. Having weakened the Ultras, Belial brainwashed both Rei and his Gomora against their own comrades until ZAP SPACY arrives with Ultraman Dyna, and Belial starts to fight with Dyna. Seeing how the team freed Rei, Belial tried to eliminate them but Seven shielded them and sent his Eye Slugger in a last resort tactic.

The Last Hope

As Seven collapses, a strange figure dashed in and rescued him. Responding to Belial's question, the Ultra, filled with anger at the death of his father, revealed himself to be Ultraman Zero and proceeded to finish off the remaining monsters easily. He started to fight Belial, disarming him and throwing away his Giga Battle Nizer, leaving Belial in a weakened state, and defeated him, throwing him to the lake of fire in the Graveyard. However, an earthquake occurred, and the souls of the monsters and Belial combined into Beryudora. The Ultras started fighting him, and after Zero was chosen by the light and given a new weapon, he went directly, supported by the Ultra Brothers, and slashed Belial with the Twin Zero Sword and defeated him. Belial declared he would return and Zero responded that he would be waiting. Belial vanished and the monster exploded, finishing Belial's reign of terror.

Ultraman Zero The Movie : Super Deciding Fight! The Belial Galactic Empire

In this film, Belial returned as his alias Galactic Emperor Kaiser Belial, forming the Belial Galactic Empire and controlling a new army of robotic solders with his two new allies, Darkgone and Iaron. He conquered the world Esmeralda in another universe and enslaved its protector, Mirror Knight. With the planet's massive supply of emeralds, which have the ability to be converted into raw energy, Belial planned to use them for his conquest of the universe, starting by destroying the Land of Light. Belial eventually clashes with Ultraman Zero and later fled to absorb the mass quantities of emeralds he had harvested from Esmeralda converting it into pure raw energy as a last ditch effort to kill Ultraman Zero and his friends.

Ultra Zero Fight

Belial was killed by the attack from Ultimate Zero, and for some time as the Ultimate Force Zero mopped up the remains of his former empire. He was cast into the Monster Graveyard and at some point in time he encountered and merged with the Armored Darkness armor, gaining its power and was resurrected. He then gathered several powerful aliens, whose species were great rivals to his people and formed the Darkness Five for the sole purpose of destroying Ultimate Force Zero. Belial appeared fully armored but removed his helmet, to Zero's shock showing that he was resurrected. Using Strong-Corona and Ultimate Zero, the young Ultra Warrior charged towards Belial but once Zero plunged his sword into his chest, Belial's spirit quickly possessed Zero and transformed him into a figure known as Zero Darkness, successfully eliminating the rest of Zero's comrades.

Ultraman Ginga S The Movie : Showdown! The 10 Ultra Warriors!

Although Belial himself didn't physically appear, Etelgar created an Eteldummy version of him that was stationed on the fourth floor. He fights Ultraman Zero, but was defeated by Zero after the young Ultra Warrior used his Mode Changes, followed by Shining Ultraman Zero's Shining Emerium Slash, which sent him to the first floor before exploding.

Ultraman Orb

Belial reappeared in the series Ultraman Orb as an Ultra Fusion Card owned by Alien Mefilas Nostra, who planned to use it as an "ultimate last resort" before Jugglus Juggler claimed it after murdering him. Alongside the six King Demon Beasts, they unsealed Zoffy's card to release Maga-Orochi. The Ultra Fusion Cards were later retrieved by Princess Tamayura, who gives them to Gai Kurenai as a countermeasure on Maga-Orochi. Gai attempted to use the new cards, but Belial kept rejecting him until the King Demon Beast broke the princess' barrier, seemingly killing her in the process. Because of Gai's anger at the princess' demise, Belial finally accepted him and allowed the transformation into the new form: Thunder Breastar. With this form, Ultraman Orb single-handedly defeated the King Demon Beast and avenged the princess.

Ultra Fight Orb

Although he has not physically appeared in this mini series, Belial was mentioned by Zero after he first meets Reibatos and sensing the same aura from him. Reibatos later tried to revive Belial after his presumed death but realized that he is alive. However in the final episode of Ultraman Geed, it was revealed to be Belial whom killed Reibatos actually, instead of Geed.

Pre-Ultraman Geed

Having revived from Zero's Shining Star Drive, Belial used this opportunity to formulate his recent scheme, going as far as to reclaim his Giga Battle Nizer and killed Reibatos. Later, he found Kei Fukuide on a nearly destroyed Planet Sturm, and gave him a place alongside the Darkness Five as one of his followers, giving him a purpose to exist. Belial, along with the Darkness Five, Kei and his new army called Terror The Belial, fought against the Ultra Warriors in a heated battle called the Omega Armageddon, which held the fate of Side Space Universe at stake. With the Super-dimensional Eradication Bomb, Belial triggered Crisis Impact and turned Earth into its epicenter and would have succeeded in his operation if not for Ultraman King's intervention.

Ultraman Geed

In the present day, their plans were put into motion as a series of events that would led Riku to become Ultraman Geed. As part of the operation to harvest the Ultra Capsules, Belial endowed Kei with his powers, allowing the latter to either summon Kaiju Capsules or transform into Belial Fusion Monsters in hopes of cementing Geed's role as the savior in the eyes of Little Star hosts. As a result of Kei's blunder for leaking out their operations, Belial forced him with the comeuppance of consuming all six Ultra Capsules he stole into his conversion organs. After escaping from his own pocket dimension, Belial kidnapped his son via Chimeraberus and departed towards the moon to absorb him using psychological means.

Endgame

Belial was revealed to have survived his defeat as Chimeraberus and had taken Arie Ishikari as his host, explaining her interest in joining Kei and silently powering him with the ability to Fusion Rise. After Kei loses to Riku as Pedanium Zetton, Belial exposed his cover by tearing the alien's Sturm Organ and used it to revive himself. With his reclaimed Capsules, he assumed his new form, Belial Atrocious, to absorb King's Childhood Radiation, simultaneously disrupting the balance of the universe. Before departing towards the Land of Light, he decided to demonstrate his newfound powers on Earth by overwhelming Zero, Geed and the Father of Ultra (the former two in their strongest forms), as well as killing Zegan after seeing through their plan.

Ultraman Retsuden

With the help of Beacon, Belial and the other members of the Darkness Five invade and hijack the 100th episode of the series, and Belial begins to introduce the monsters which make up Beryudora. However, Belial became very upset because they only could only introduce thirteen out of the hundred monsters due to the time constraints of the show and begins to rampage. In episode 103, Belial, along with the Darkness Five, tell their biographies about their kind invading the Earth, and once again use Beacon to hijack the episode.
