So I stripped and sanded off all that, and then I was able to paint it. The design I used was sort of inspired by the new "Alice in Wonderland" movie, more

Vacation Drawing...

We've been in Branson, Missouri for the past week. I took all my drawing stuff with me, hoping to get some serious art done. But as it turns out, this is all I got done. This is the first larger format drawing I've done in a long time, "larger" being about 8 x 10". This will be left black and white, I think. I worked on this while everyone else was playing cards at the table next to me.

More Artist Trading Cards...

I just finished a set of ATC's for a one-on-one swap over at AFA.
It was the first set I've done for art supplies, instead of an even card trade.
I received a nice set of artists' chalk pastels in return for these three cards.
I've also submitted this post to the "I Made It! Thursday Blog Party" over at Everything Etsy.

I definitely need a better camera set-up for next time. I had it taped to a box, and towards the end of the video, it was sliding downwards. I didn't notice till it was too late. Of course, that made it out of focus, too. Some parts I edited out completely, my left hand kept obscuring the whole thing. The ideal set-up would be to have the camera

Latest Trading Cards

I finally finished up my latest set of trading cards for iATC.
The object was to pick random items listed in two columns, and incorporate them into an image.
In one column, someone listed "sheep". I took that and used it for all three cards, combining it with "tutu", "big wig", and "corset"...
