but the thing is with the new web 2.0 like twitter & facebook, people tend to update EVERYTHING there rather than blog about. one thing that i assume is unlike blog, fb wall or tweet is immune with grammar-nazi or spelling-nazi compare to blog. and to unleashed the freaking fury on fb or twitter is much more easier without needing to explain the whole damn detail about the shit.

Just finished having a blasting dinner today and for the first time, i wont say "im not lucky" anymore....in fact im the luckiest guy on earth. Lucky to have such a great girl on my side, lucky to have her attention and most importantly, lucky to have her heart.

even so, after a great 2 hours conversation, i wont take things for granted. The more you know how many people attracted to your girl, the more you need to work extra hard to secure your place in her heart.

When dealing with everyday critical choices, you don't have the privillage to pause and think about it for 30 minutes unlike in video games. That's where human instict will kick-off and prompt us to make the choices that either make or break someone else emotions. Well that happen to me yesterday but this time the impact is much greater than anything I've encountered.

My stupidity has not only cost my sweetheart's money but her precious time too. Eventho she keep saying 'things happen and there's nothing we can do about it', I can sense the frustration & anger from her voice & action. Some men having a tough time to notice this but I'm lucky to have the ability to see right trough her. Why? It's because the way she got angry just exacly like me.

I will shut up for a long period of time, make a neutral face expression, my action become much rougher ..to name a few. Ohhh yes, she very pissed off at me and that why I just shut up and didn't bring out any jokes at all because I,myself if in angry state, hate unneccessary noise at that particular time.

I've tried to become a candle for her, burning itself to light others but instead I become a cigaratte, burning itself to trouble others and I deeply regret about my action yesterday. By hook or by crook I'll make it up back to her. You can pay back money but you can't pay back the time that has been wasted. =(

This concept has been used countless time...even in relationship. It's such an epic love story when 1 person sacrifice themselves to save their love one. Why they do that?..simple, because they want them to be happy. What they didnt know is, most of time...it only bring pain & suffering more to their loved one. If that happen, it no longer can be consider a Martyrdom , it was called Selfishness.

Selfish is a normal human behavior. Regardless of the situation, they will try to be selfish. It's a good thing if you notice your act of selfishness...but it be worst if they didnt even notice it at all. take this as an example:

Two lovely couples that has been in relationship then suddenly the girl found out from the guy diary at his working table. In one of the old entry, the guy used to love someone very deeply a couples of years ago. it's so deep that the guy cannot say the magic word to her at all until the end.

The diary entry is too damn epic that she felt that her guy better off with that girl as he deserved more. Than the girl ask the most unbelievable question to the unfortunate guy, "Im willing to let you go if that will make you happy with her".

Ok, let's us pause the damn story for awhile. the girl assume her guy will be happy with other girl's care. The girl want her guy to be happy even without her. At first glance, it really looks like a noble priestess ready to make sacrifice to save the whole damn world. Epic isnt it? but let us put some twist in the storyline:

What if the guy is actually more happier with her?
What if the guy no longer have any feeling toward the previous girl?
What if the guy no longer care the previous girl?
What if the previous girl is actually much worse in comparison?

Im pretty damn sure the guy only have 2 options:
1) to follow his girl advise which will in fact make him wandering endlessly into oblivion; or
2) to be a stonehead and stick with her until the end of time.

if he choose option (1), he is in fact(based on the assumption stated above) wont chase the prev girl..but instead he will do something els that the girl wont expect. i mean, who want to chase it's own past? there's no guarantee that girl will accept him or who know, maybe she's already married?. if this is the path that the guy take...congratulation girl, you just converted the meaning of Martyrdom to Selfish since you not only destroy your life & happiness but also the life & happiness of others too.

if he choose the (2) option, consider yourself a the luckiest girl on the planet. Plain & Simple, no?

and the story end there....i'll leave the fate of the couple to your own imagination. but 1 thing for sure, THIS IS NOT A FRIGGIN VIDEOGAME WHERE YOU CAN QUICKSAVE & QUICKLOAD IF YOU'RE SCREWED UP BY MAKING THE WRONG CHOICE.

of course, all this can be avoided if the girl just ask the guy about it in the first place. or else why do you think the guy leave his diary around especially on his work desk? surely the guy want the girl to read his sad & messy history so she can understand him more then anyone else....right?.

anyways, to end this post(since i need to get back to work)..the essence of good relationship is to Talk About It, not to Assume It

it's been 1 years since i posted my last entry. not because im too lazy to post any, but i just lack of ideas on what to post. it's funny, last time while im at the uni, i can post practically anything that come across me at that time. but now it seem i've lost my touch.

nevermind, will try to update this page as often as i can. all i can say now is it's been 6 months since i got my new job and....no interesting things happen. well there is ONE thing..but i prefer to keep it a secret. LOL

Valkyrie of the Battlefield

That's the original title for Valkyria Chronicles for japan release. Well..it's not entirely bad in the first place. As for today will be marked as the day i finally FINISHED playing VC on my PS3...after bought it in January this year. Hahaha...Turn based Tactical RPG it not a game you can finished in 2 days(well..it depend). I prefer to play it slow & steady as the story itself is the true gem.

I keep saying over & over again that this game manage to pull off every single human emotion from the time you start the game until you see the ending. Not all game manage to do that and not all manage to executed it perfectly. Compare to any other game that used war as a foundation for the storyline, nearly all of the character in this game dont have "GRRR...I WANT TO GO TO WAR & KILL PEOPLE" kinda attitude/motive which pleases me to a great degree.

Some of the main attraction for this fine game are:

1) Water coloured art direction
The game is rendered using SEGA all new CANVAS engine which make it look like a water coloured painting on a canvas which is beautiful.

Yerp..you also get the "RATTA RATTA" word FOC

2) The Storyline
Set in the center of Second Europan War, a tiny country try to fend off the attack by bigger nation and Squad7 is the star in here. Instead of showing Atlantic Federation as a good guy, this game show that there's no 'good' guys in war..all there is a greedy & selfish people who trying to take advantage of others problem. Well..it's the same with the real world we live in anyways.

3) The Emotion
Every moment in this game is full of emotions. Sadness, happiness, envious, hatred, determination, love, unsure and others will accompany from start to finish. Some of the moment will make you shred your tears(or even cried). I wont spoiled this part as it's a part of the main storyline.

4) The Lovely Selvaria Bles

Aside from he big..urm...melon, she really a great character in VC. Eventho inside the game we didnt see much of her, an expansion pack dedicated to her Mission really worth the money tho i must say Empire unit is lame & weak. From he profile, it seem she enjoyed cooking. No scene in game showing about this but in the Anime (yup...VC also got anime) durign the ending credit, i can see clearly chibi Selvaria is cooking something.

Ah yes...the official poster of the anime. A bit different from the games sequence, i hope the anime touch some part of the war that not inside the games.

Since Aidiladha is tomorrow, i suddenly got the urge to insert my MGS4 and re-watch the ending...again. I dunno...previously i can hold my tears during the ending but not this time. Maybe it's because i just realised that there's alot of similarities between Me, Old Snake & Big Boss in term of sacrifice we all made.

Well...im not going to elaborate it one by one(and to prevent any sympathetic reply) but to think it back again, it surely hurt like hell. And i pray ALOT that nobody will notice the sacrifice i made because i think that the best way to enjoy my life. and yeah...im quite happy with it.

It's hard to catch up with news especially if you're working in a place where Internet connection is limited. Well, cant blame them..it just for security purpose. It seem only 3 news im interested over the past week and they are :

1) Phil Harrison Quit SCE.

The first thing i said when i read this news is "WHAT THE F**K???" Now a man who responsible making me buy PS3 leave Sony?. I must say he is a damn good speaker and know what he was talking about instead of bullshitting about the sales number. I dont know what is Sony thinking and how Sony gonna replace him but 1 thing i know for sure, Sony lost one of the best PR people in the world. Anyways Phil, Good Luck & All the best to you

2) MGS4 Got a Released Date.

The Banner above is worth than a 1000 words. I already marked on my calender for June 16 is the most anticipated date in 2008. Metal Gear will rule the world!!!!...*ahem*, just kidding. Anyways, Konami has setup MGS4 to be worldwide release which means, all territories will get MGS4 on that date.

To make thing more sweeter than a can of Vanilla Coke, they planning a Special Edition Box set which you can see the picture above. MGS4 game + Metal Gear Saga 2.0 video + Tin Can Box. So far, this one is intended for Japanese market. For US market, Konami still didnt give any feedback yet. Hopefully the US & Euro version also get the Limited Edition. Speaking of Disc, MGS4 will use 50g Blu-ray Disc but from recent interview with Kojima, it seem 50g is not enough for HIS VISION of MGS4. WTF? Someone give him the prototype 100g blu-ray disc now!!!!

If you guys has been wondering "why 50g is not enough?", it's because he dont want to compress the data (texture, sound & etc). For Hideo Kojima, No Compression = Top Quality. Well, it seem he's a perfectionist and sometime having a perfectionist as a Game Designer is great because we can assure the quality of the game they deliver will be a top class.

Just for laugh, 50g BD is not enough for MGS4. If they come out for Xbox360, maybe we will see this boxset :P

Dont even think about compression. I already said before, Kojima dont want to compress his game. In the mean time, keep an eye on the Countdown time at the upper right of my blog

3) MGS4 + 80g PS3 US Bundle.

The biggest news and i somehow expected it, Sony will released MGS4 + PS3 bundle. The best part is, it's the 80g version...not the 40g like Devil May Cry 4 bundle. Im planning to get the US bundle but it seem one of the supplier said it may cost RM2000+.

F**K the price, i'll get it no matter what!!!. In fact, it's the NTSC U/C version, so i can play MGS Essential Collection on PS3. having 2 PS3 is not a problem at all. Now where can i find extra money for this :D

This term mainly used to show that there's no good or evil. In fact you dont know which one is good or evil. You just do the thing you think right . I can bet most of us has been in this situation before and we just do what we think right and hopefully the thing will so on as smooth as possible. I used to get some feedback from people saying "you cannot do that..you should do that...bla bla" but at the same moment i also thought that what im doing is for my myself. It doest matter whether it will do good or bad to you..all the matter is me. And thus putting me into the 'Morally Gray' situation. Infact im already in this business for a long time pushing back to my secondary school year.

New Phone

Yerp..this is my new phone, Nokia N82. Equipped with 5 megapixel camera + WiFi which make reading RSS feed is a bliss.

The quality of the picture?...the picture above itself were captured by my sister N82 phone and i purposely put my Dualshock 3, God of War 2 & UT3 at the back just as a prove that im not leeching this picture on the web.

Oh..and for the side note, im getting my Burnout Paradise this Tuesday, Motorstorm on Wednesday and Devil May Cry 4 maybe on Friday or if im out of luck, next week :P

or at least Donald Trump said so. You wont believed how stupid people is nowdays. There's someone contacted me, someone i know and tell me "We can settle the money thingy by invest in stock". Please, get back money in 10 days?...what if the stock suddenly dropped ?. Dont treat me like a primary school kid even though i know a little about stock but i know the risk involved in there. My colleague already lost nearly 5000 bucks by doing the same thing. Yes, 5000 is consider small but it a big amount for an average people like me in which to get the same amount, we need to save up nearly a year.

so my advised to that 'someone', if you want to do it...you use your own money, if you did get double or triple..pay your debt back to me

New Additions This Month

Two new PS3 games were added to my library. And those two are Call of Duty 4 & Unreal Tournament 3.

Another two (hopefully can get 2 or else stick with 1 first) will come at the end this month. It's Burnout Paradise & Devil May Cry 4.

It seem that I'll be pretty busy in weekend for February.

In a couple of hours we can safely said..."GTFO 2007 , Here come the bitch 2008 " . LoL. I must admit...next near 'can' be great for me. Well, at least for my birthday... 08/08/08. What a freakin nice number i got there.

I opt to stay in my house and kill Zeus in God of War 2 i bought recently for my PS3 instead of go & join the crowd of crazyass people that celebrate it on the street. Why? let me make a comparison.

Stay at home:

sit on the comfortable couch
playing PS3 on my HDTV
air-conditioned room
can eat what ever i want
wear simple clothes
can sleep whenever i want, wherever i want

Go out & have a partyyyy!! :

FCUKING HOT..and i mean the temperatures
end up sitting on the side road...if worse, cant even sit down because too damn crowded

That pretty much sum up how "staying at home" > "party outside".

Oh, before i forgot..the only fun part in celebrating New Year's Eve is during the first 5 minutes after Midnight. After that, everything is normal again, just like nothing big ever happen. If you count that in PLUS the time you join the crowd from 8 pm, it's a freakin' waste of precious time.

Actually, last 3 weeks i thought of something. What is the worst thing you ever see in your life?. For me, the no 1 spot goes to "watching hindustan movie preview on tv without a friggin' subtitle". I dont know whether the guys at the tv stations a dumbass or a moron, but 1 thing for sure..that guys think we're born with the ability to translate other language on the fly.

What the point showing a preview which you cant understand a jack about it?. Man, the world become weirder and weirder on every second and i dont expect in 2008 things will become better than this year.

Anyways..Happy New Year....

According to my previous post, yes..im a PS3 owner. Quite a proud one i must say. I bought my PS3 with my first salary and didnt even regret it. Up until now, i only have 3 games, 2 on Blu-ray disc(Assassin's Creed & DiRT) and one is Downloaded from PSN(Warhawk)...Unreal Tournament 3, Haze & COD4 will be coming soon :P

Multiplatform: Bliss or Curse?

I've been a PS3 owner for about 3 months and quite satisfied with it(except for Singapore PSN, lacks of Classic game to download unlike US PSN). I've been following the gaming news right after the PS3 was announce in 2006. Sure, at that time alot of game stay in "exclusive-title" camp. But after awhile, it seem "Multiplatform" camp looks better than "Exclusive" camp..maybe because there's alot of hot chick in there.

Game developer nowdays tend to jump into the Multiplatform-Bandwagon faster than you can say "OMGWTFBBQ" properly. Sure, it's understandable that the cost for next-gen is higher than building a Mercedes and game dev trying to coup up with their spending by going multiplatform. Actually, for me & this post..it's not about i disagree with "Multiplatform" or "Exclusive" direction the Game Dev take, it's all about the end product. yes, the GAME.

Some game dev (*cough*EA*cough*) really starting to piss me off with their games....no, their CRAPPY games. Take EA sport game as an example, most of it play poorly on PS3 but run fine on 360. Is EA some 360 fanboy or something?..most of their game look crappy on PS3(except Fifa 08 which is damn good) and the 'usual' answer we get is: "PS3 is hard to code..bla..bla...". I dont think 'hard to code' is an issue with the hardware..it's the issue with the people. Admit it, they are too lazy to write a code. and stop milking money using a crappy port..this goes also to you, KOEI. Stop blaming on console sale and start blaming on you crappy & repetitive games.

On the other hand, Ubisoft & Infinity Ward make a fine example that Multiplatform game should look like. Look at Assassin's Creed & Call of Duty 4 head-to-head 360 & PS3 comparison, it looks identically the same..unless you want to go for technical stuff like shader or lighting where for other people they dont give a shit about that stuff. Although both of the game got some issue in PS3(Assassin's Creed freeze & COD4 got online issue), at least they didnt ruined the enjoyment..ok, Assassin's Creed screen lockup is damn irritating for a while, but after i updated to V1.10, i encounter no screen lockup during 6 hours of gameplay.

By making a good multiplatform games and run good on both system, then you'll get a larger worldwide audience. What the point aiming for a wide audience where your game suck real hard on 1 particular console? You're wasting your money anyways and spark another console fanboy war in the forum nearby.
