Chelsea and Patrick are such a sweet couple and are so much fun to be around. From the moment these two got in front of my camera, I could see what a perfect match they are for each other. I could just see it in the way they look at each other. They are so cute together, and I had the best time photographing their fall engagement photos in Charleston. After getting to know these two during their session, I am so excited for their Spring wedding in Charleston next year!

I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed photographing Leah and Tom fall engagement session! I have been excited about this session for a while now and these two did not disappoint. They were so relaxed, fun and complete naturals in front of the camera! They chose Riverfront Park for their engagement photos, which is a favorite fall spot for engagement photos in Columbia for me.

Pine Island Wedding: Emily & Matt

Emily and Matt were married at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church with their reception following at Pine Island. I have loved getting to know this sweet couple throughout their engagement, but the highlight for me was their wedding ceremony. You could truly see their love for each other shine as they exchanged their vows at their church. Emily and Matt love trees and the outdoors, so Pine Island made the perfect location for their reception and their wedding day portraits. We snuck back out for a few photos by the lake at sunset, which I absolutely love! Everyone had a blast dancing the night away and sent them off with glow sticks.

The Millstone at Adams Pond Wedding: Marissa & Spenser

Marissa and Spenser were married at The Millstone at Adams Pond on October 8, 2016 during Hurricane Matthew. When Marissa and Spenser’s wedding day began, they learned that roads were blocked and their wedding venue had lost power. But despite Hurricane Matthew, Marissa and Spenser’s day was absolutely amazing and they definitely have a unique wedding story to tell with wonderful memories! I could not imagine a more gracious and calm couple, who were absolutely thrilled to be married and starting their life together. They also had an amazing team of vendors who made the whole day come together perfectly. One unique part of their wedding ceremony that I just loved is that they planted a tree together, each adding dirt from their home and watering it together. I so excited to share a few of my favorites from this special day!

The Farm at Ridgeway Wedding: Cassey & Michael

Cassey and Michael were married on September 24, 2016 at the Farm at Ridgeway. It was a gorgeous sunny day with beautiful blue skies. Cassey and Michael are one of those couples that just light up with joy when they are together. Their happiness is contagious and everyone around them can’t help but smile while in their presence. The sweet way that these two look at each other made their love so special to capture. I just love the color scheme they chose. Every detail looked perfect! Cassey and Michael’s group of family and friends was an absolute blast! The dance floor was packed with dancing, fun and laugher right up until the very last long of their reception. Emily’s Bridal Portraits at Pine Island

Saturday was Emily and Matthew’s wedding, so I can now share her bridal portraits with you! Emily chose Pine Island at Lake Murray for her bridal portraits, which is where her and Matt had their wedding reception. We were drove all over to get portraits in some different locations than we had time for on the wedding day. American Floral did an amazing job on Emily’s bouquet. I just love the portraits by the water, and the gorgeous light just before the sun started to set was just perfect!

This is one of the ones Emily chose to display at her reception. She had two canvases, one on each side of her wedding cake.

Columbia, SC Engagement Photos: Tara & Mike

I’ve been excited for Tara and Mike’s engagement photos for a while now and when it came time for this session, we could not have asked for a more beautiful afternoon! We started off at the SC State House for a more formal look, then we headed to the Horseshoe on USC campus where they both went to school. Those are two of my favorite engagement photo locations in Columbia, SC. Between the gorgeous light, their perfect outfit choices and the sweet way they look at each other, I am loving these photos! I cannot wait to photograph their wedding at Wintergreen Woods next year.

Wintergreen Woods Wedding: Aimee & Jonathon

Aimee and Jonathon were married on September 10, 2016 at the beautiful Wintergreen Woods. Every detail of their wedding was gorgeous, and I loved some of the special personal touches they included in their day. When guests arrived for the ceremony, they were greeted with quilt squares to sign for the guest book and a handkerchief to take to their seat. At the reception, a s’more bar with lots of tasty toppings made for a fun treat in addition to the cake.

Aimee and Jonathon are just the sweetest couple, and I love how they make each other laugh. If you spend even a short time with the two or them you can just tell what a perfect match they make! I am so happy I was there to capture their special day. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect start to the fall wedding season!

Cassey’s Bridal Portraits at The Farm at Ridgeway

Now that Cassey and Michael are married, I can finally share Cassey’s bridal portraits! Cassey’s bridal portraits were done at the Farm at Ridgeway, which is also where Michael and her were married on Saturday. I love photographing bridal portraits and weddings at the Farm at Ridgeway with all of the beautiful open fields. Not to mention, the lighting that afternoon was just perfect! Cassey made an absolutely stunning bride. Her dress and veil were so gorgeous and that amazing bouquet by American Floral really made the photos pop! I’m excited to share a few favorites of Cassey.

Sweet baby Kayden is absolutely adorable! I loved being able to incorporate a lot of personal touches into her photos, like her nursery, special outfits and her family’s love for Gamecock football. She was a dream to photograph and I cannot wait to document her first year.
