We're a week away from a favorite silly day! Next weekend marks another Talk Like a Pirate Day. What a great excuse to act a little goofy and have some fun with the family. Make a day of it with pirate dress up and talk with your mini-mateys.

I have the perfect little friend to join you. This adorable little pirate bear is a sweet way to make something special with your little ones. Forget the skull and cross bones! This kawaii bear would never make you walk the plank:

Why hello there, Sweetie! I can't help but hear River Song's voice when I hear this quote, but when I was brainstorming summer designs this one felt like it would make a cute summer project also. Hot summer days and cold, freshly cut watermelon - it's like a match made in heaven.

So watermelon and a hand lettered quote paired together to give us this fun design:

Summer's usually filled with bright colors and exotic motifs - jungle themed tigers and foliage are everywhere right now. I thought it would be nice to take a break with something a little softer and since flowers never go out of style this week's design is floral meets geometric and modern with a hexagon shaped monogram frame:

This one's perfect if you have a teen into the LoveShackFancy and Golden Goose aesthetic. They would be all over this frame with their name or a quote on their bedroom wall. 

Extra bonus, it's so you can cut it extra large for wall art. The top and bottom pieces of the frame are welded separately so you can separate them and set up your cut larger than a single path would have allowed. 

In addition to the frame being split, the outlines on the flowers are welded as one piece to make them easy to remove. The frame ends at the flower outlines so you have a built in gap without the outline to make placement more flexible. Plus you can easily grab the flowers and use them for other projects.

Remember back when one of the most exciting things to happen in summer was the ice cream truck coming down your street? A huge truck full of ice cold treats to make you feel a little less like you were melting in the hot sun.

In honor of those precious cones, this week's freebie is a cute new kawaii friend:

This cutie patootie includes three versions for flexibility. Version one is the entire image including the offset outline and color fills. Version two is the fills only with blank spaces for the outline areas. And version three is the outline piece only.

The face is layered on top and can be removed to use the design as a plain old ice cream cone. Ho many uses can you think of? Make a sign for the church's ice cream social, add name for a cute toddler shirt or maybe make your best friend an ice cream mug. (That last one is totally a thing! Grab an oversized mug you can fit a pint in. Makes ice cream time completely different.)

Cute Easter Shirt Design for Backyard Egg Hunts

Surprise! We're going old school for Easter this year. Social distancing means no huge egg hunts this year, but that doesn't mean the Easter fun has to be cancelled. 

Remember those egg hunts around the house and in the backyard when you were a kid? I'm sure there are some faded photos of you  looking for eggs somewhere. Time to give the kids a taste of those days and you'll definitely need some cute shirts for all of those photos you'll be taking. It's memory making time.

This week's freebie is a hand lettered egg hunt svg that works no matter how small your hunt is. Personalize it by adding a name underneath or maybe a phrase like baby's first Easter.

Bonus activity ... Remove the colors and make your shirts in black and white so the little ones can color their own shirts. How cute would that be?

So many of the acronyms are co-existing making it impossible to truly single out one label from another. Let's celebrate neurodiversity and how everyone's brain works in a unique way.

So I was sketching out ideas for last week's Snowman and Reindeer Poop freebie, and it got me thinking. I don't think I've ever seen a cat or dog snowman, but how cute would that be?

What dog or cat mama wouldn't love to have one of those for a fun winter shirt? Tada!

They ended up being cuter than I thought they would! On the original sketch I used a light blue outline to accentuate the ears and an optional solid white background for the snow. 

In case you're using a non-white shirt and don't want the extra outline, I also included versions with just the solid white base piece.

Since they're snow animals, they work for the whole season. Use them for clipart, felt ornaments, add your own quote or the kiddo's names for personalize shirts. Play around with them and see how many uses you can come up with!

The count down to Christmas has begun and you're rushing to find a quick project for your child's class or maybe just a couple more things to fill out the stocking.

These reindeer and snowman poop classics are perfect for fast and inexpensive bulk gifts:

Mix up the quote for these funny gag gifts, cause there's no way to be serious when you're talking about poop. 

These are super easy, just pick your size, print and cut using your Cricut or Silhouette, or just a plain old ruler and blade. 

What you'll need

• white cardstock for printing
• plastic baggies or paper bags
• stapler or tape
• marshmallows for snowman or anything chocolate covered for reindeer poop

Simply fill your bag and attach the cardstock folded in half using a stapler or double sided tape.

You'll find 2 sizes for each version in your download folder. The 7" x 3" fits a regular quart bag or there's a smaller 5" x 2.5" for cellophane treat bags or square snack bags.

You can find the square snack bags at Walmart. We found them a couple years ago and never swapped back. They fit chips and other snack foods so much easier!

The 7" wide label also fits the Smash Mallow bags. We're a dye free, petroleum additive free, plus tons of food allergies house and this is one of the few brands that are clear for everyone to eat:

For the reindeer, anything chocolate covered works. There are some easy recipes for no-bake drop cookies out there. I've also seen chocolate covered raisins and nuts used. We had some of those cocoa dusted almonds for snacking, so I gave them a try:

We’re still a week out from November, but the Christmas music is calling, y’all! It’s time to kick off this year’s holiday designs with a set of mix and match Christmas light strands.

These are great for adding a fun embellishment to shirts, decor, and printable like Christmas cards:

Each of the three pre-made strands included starts and ends at the same angle so you can line up as many as you need to create longer strands.

Using Cricut Design Space or Silhouette Studio, simply line two end up, flip one vertically if you like and weld the two green strands. I included this quick cheatsheet in your download folder just in case it’s your first time. Don’t worry, you got this!

You’ll find all kinds of uses for these starting with Christmas shirts, decor, tumblers, mugs and even felt garland! Plus, you can reuse them for other holidays and celebrations by swapping out the colors on the light bulbs.

Your download folder contains 12 files for each format (.svg, .dxf, .eps, .png). Three of the files are pre-assembled strands to get you started. The rest are each individual piece separate - 3 plain strands and 5 light bulbs with the base separate. Mix and match til your heart’s content.

One of the strongest memories I have from childhood is the small paper poppies veterans handed out as a reminder to remember. They hid in secret hiding places to keep them safe and when I got my first car, one hung from the gear shift for years.

While this symbol is linked to Veterans Day or Remembrance Day, I see them as an everyday reminder of how much our veterans were willing to give up to protect our country.

Is it almost time for your little one's first Tooth Fairy visit? We've been waiting for what seems like ages for little man to lose his first tooth and we're finally close! So of course first thing I had to do was come up with a tooth holder for him to put under his pillow:

Super cute, plus it has a bunch of options! Inside your download folder you'll find your usual layered and knockout options for pressing vinyl to little tooth fairy bags.

Add a quick name, choose your colors and go:

You'll also find two other versions inside. One with stencil style lettering for the quote on the back, "Official Tooth Fairy Exchange Program." (Don't know why but I had this whole Potterverse vibe going on with the quote.)

The other is without the quote for paper and felt crafting. I sized mine at 6" wide and cut using regular craft felt with the rotary blade on the Cricut Maker. (Beware it'll get a little loud when cutting the eyes, mouth and shine mark, but it had no trouble cutting them, so don't be alarmed.)

After everything was cut and cleaned up, I used embroidery floss to stitch it together. (Excuse the messy stitching, I kept cutting the floss too short. Just a tab bit rusty with a needle.)

I stitched the face and back of the tooth to their outlines. Next I clipped everything together with some tiny binder clips I had laying around and sewed the inside of the wings together through all four layers.

Last, I used a blanket stitch through all four layers from the inside corner of one wing and all the way around to the inside corner of the other. You're left with a nice little pouch to hold those baby teeth:

Yay for the weekend!!! Y'all, I've done so many sports customs in the past month it's crazy. Sketching out cute little creatures has a welcome change. 

This week's squeezable cutie-pie is this oh so sweet bat friend:

Come on, you know you want to press this chubby little cutie-pie on a onesie or toddler shirt! Plus it's fun to step away from the usual grey and black. Play around with color combos and see what works for you.

You'll find two versions in your download folder. There's a knockout version with minimal layering, perfect for adding a little glitter or pattern vinyl (those ears and wings would be a great spot to test out a new pattern). 

The other version is layered with a solid white base, so if scrapbooking or paper crafts are your thing, you're covered too! 

Plus, everything's welded to save vinyl and keep things flexible. Use part of the quote or use the bat by himself or make it a quick single-color line art project by just using the outline layer from the knockout version.

For all of you in the Carolinas, we're thinking about you and hope you're safe. Dorian has made this week nerve wracking and caused some weird weather.  Y'all, we might just melt down here. It's been just shy of 100 degrees everyday this week.

It's Friday night and you know what that means! Time to cheer on your boys as they take down their next rival. This week's freebie is just for you proud mamas and grandmas.

You'll find two versions inside, one to use if you have just one favorite player on the field or one for moms or grandmas with multiple players to shout for. Team mom or coach's wife? Grab the plural version and squeeze those names and numbers in!

Each version is 3 layers. On the bottom you have an optional solid base for the white pieces. Layer two is the ball and layer three is the Word Art. 

Want to make it a single-piece design? Delete the base layer, add your names and numbers, then knockout all of the words from the second layer. Not sure how? There's a handy cheat sheet included in your download.

Another option is to forget all the wording altogether and just use the ball to make your own design:
