It seems like just a few short months ago we were reading about the sale of this very fabulous Southampton manor to Tory Burch and now here we are, already viewing decorated rooms and manicured lawns on Vogue. Tory collaborated with two longtime friends: the architect and designer Daniel Romualdez and decorator Eve Hood, a friend from her college days at Penn. There's a great piece by Hamish Bowles in addition to a few more pictures you won't want to miss. Especially the neo-Georgian façade, which has me weak in the knees :)

Budget Buys is one of my favorite posts, because, let's be honest, everyone loves to score something chic for cheap. I know I certainly do! One of my favorite items is this leopard scarf from Old Navy...one can never have too many leopard accessories. I also love these brightly hued watches from ASOS that look way more expensive than $45.00. Valentine's Day might be behind us, but I'm still in a hot pink mood...this might be the perfect accessory!

While I love to look at the latest collections during Fashion Week, I honestly tend to get even more excited about the street style. Anyone else feel this way? Some of my favorites outfits (no surprise here) were the bright prints seen on Solange Knowles and Oroma Elewa, and Elisa Sednaoui's solid hot pink ensemble....so chic. KELLY LOVES THE BALLET FLAT

I've had my eye on these colorful ballet flats from Topshop the past few weeks. After all, with temperatures in the sixties I've hardly had the need for my usual winter boot line-up. I noticed this week they added even more styles — faux snakeskin and a few glittery hues, which aren't as tacky as they sound :) And at $36 a pair they're a steal...can you say, yes, please?!

I'm so excited to be kicking off our very first "Ask Kelly" post with one of my favorite things...coffee table books! I look for two things in a great coffee table book: a great cover and great content. I'm not going to lie, my shiniest and prettiest books take center stage in my living room. But, they are also some of my favorites and are within arm's reach if I have a down moment or need some inspiration. And I can't tell you how many times a guest has commented on the selection or even browsed through one of the books...something to keep in mind.

Most of the books on my coffee table can be placed in one of these categories: fashion, décor, or photography. I buy a big range of the three because that's what I enjoy the most...always buy what you love! Especially if you're growing a collection.

Well my friends, we've finally made it to Valentine's Day and I promise tomorrow to start resuming non-pink or love-related topics. But today we're still focused on all things love, or at least its color counterparts. Wearing pink and red head to toe with aplomb like Dree Hemingway or SJP takes a certain skill. As does painting your living room bubblegum pink and throwing in a large red sofa, à la Miles Redd. Personally, I can't think of a more appropriate combination for today, can you? :)

I'm a sucker for romantic films and certainly any starring Audrey Hepburn. Roman Holiday was her first leading role and one for which she won the 1954 Oscar for Best Actress, instantly catapulting her into major world stardom. Between the sweet storyline and Edith Head designed costumes, it's a favorite of mine. If you haven't seen it yet you simply must!

With fashion week officially kicking off yesterday, I thought it would be fun to take a look behind the scenes inside a designer's home. Luckily for us, InStyle featured the lovely Rachel Roy's apartment in their March issue. I'm a huge fan of the designer's effortless style and her apartment did not disappoint. The vintage sari rug, large cherry blossom branches, and those bookshelves (did you see they are outlined in orange??)....it's all so chic!
