Thought to myself, if the holidays are not the best time to blog, when will it be :O?

Anyways, went to AFAX on sunday 14th November.

AFAX was really enjoyable

Not just because there were so many pretty girls around ^^

Not just because it's the first time i found out 10cm figurines cost $56 and above

Not just because there was a damn cool maid cafe (and i missed the last call)

Not just because I was too busy taking photos of others to take photos of myself with the cosplayers

But because of the friendly and homely atmosphere that people with same interests come together and create.

Did i break my promise? Sorry.

Been sorting out stuff(not just physically) this week so yeah there you go.

Anyways, this week was pretty interesting ^^

Well we had a "debate" in our English class and the topic was some... "This House believes that cows should wear bras".

Which, obviously, degenerates into some lewd crap.

Then there was this physics lesson where we learnt about sound waves...

Basically the waves look more smooth close up when the sound is more...pure?

First we played with the tuning fork then we saw it was pretty smooth...

Then Reuben screeched into the mic, then we focused on the wave...IT WAS SMOOTHER THAN THE TUNING FORK WTF?!?!?

Oh lol and i gt a new phone + number.

Nothing really much to post. Holidays are kinda static and ... not very hyper.

Some weird things in life:

Okay so we went to check our eyes ytd (my sis and I)

Me : Use com everyday, dont like to wear specs, sleep very late.
Sis : Use less com, always wear specs, sleep usually quite early

Check outcome :
Sis - increase 25 degrees on both
Me - increase 25 degrees on both

Resultant degree:
Sis - 150 / 125
Me - 100 / 50

Weird world.

Interesting stuff:

"Awful" used to mean "awesome" in old days of english :DD

I guess a lot of us are busy with stuff during the holidays, for me is preparing for band concert, and i seriously think we are very, very low on extra time :\...

Anyways bad things aside,
We are gonna make an Anime battle video!! thingy

Well it's actually a sequel to our camp night walk video "Zombass vs LauRen", but we're gonna make it a bit less comedic and more action/epic.

Well we're adapt stuff from Bleach, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, and others (hopefully no copyright issues or anything bah xD)

Right now we have....6 actors. Best is need 10 actors so if you want to join in the fun... sign up with me =D

First filming date is Monday 15 March
Just need 3 afternoons of your life x.x

Phew!

I usually post on weekends because ... yknow weekdays are pretty busy.

BUT! If there are any exceptional things to post about i will, but if you are my regular
reader (like a handful of people...so sad :O) just check in on weekends bah.

Well since i usually start with a video it shall be the same this time =D

This video is my interpretation of 3 skills from Katekyo Hitman Reborn.
I know it's kinda funny (even though it's supposed to be serious)

Lol so about this interesting situation on Friday :

Got onto bus 74, and well guess what it was damn crowded as usual.
Then when walking into the back parts of the bus i walked past this old ahma who was like scolding some (random) guy who i dont know where he is (probably walked away already).

Old ahma : 这个中国人啊...看不到后面已经很 SO CROWDED 了吗？！还要乱乱来 (-something something-)... 回去你的 CHINA 啦！

I was like o_o ... okay...

So i was lucky and found an empty seat next to this guy quite near the old lady.
F.Y.I she put her big plastic bag on the seat next to her seat.

Then she gets pwned. A woman came and...

Woman : Auntie, don't you know that the seats are not for plastic bags? Can you please remove your plastic bags or not?! People want to seat okay(in a pretty scary tone)

Old ahma : O_O In front already got seat why you come here and scold me?! (actually i didn't see anything in front which is empty but let's just forget that)

After the woman walks away she lets some auntie sit, and then nags about some empty seat in front why must the lady scold her blah while the lady was like... 2 seats behind her?

Sorry if it was inaccurate (although it is like almost impossible anyone else would know that) cuz i was sleepy and didn't really think about it a lot, but i guess that was the gist of it.

LOL I JUST FOUND OUT (by myself) how to create the sonido effect LLOLOLOL.

~Had no idea "Linear blur" function could do this much.~

This video is my version of Bleach's hollow mode btw.

That's me btw. The mask was made for...PPS transitional camp. Not really a hollow mask but since i don't have any other (better) masks >_>....

Effects also look kinda amateurish...but i will work hard to improve =D

The sonido thing should make other fight scene videos easier to animate. YEAHHh

Guess what. We were pwned by Lemuo

WTF?!?!?!??!!

Lemuo turns 17 this year and he gets pro-er.

Alright so he takes the lift at 5th floor while we go down the stairs. Since it's usually illegal to take the lift before a certain time we decided to take a video and show him or wdv. But he pwns us =D

Alright I tried to edit a certain video but phailed badly so not much stuff to show :\

Thursday was... Staff Training Day (famous STD day) so there was no school.

Went bowling/ pool at SAFRA Yishun with JingHeng and KimSong, and lol they were pro at pool ( comparatively to me).

Then everytime when there's no direct ball we'll be like all "omg GGXX"

And we didnt know what that meant until we checked urban dict o.O

Then went to school for somewhat-last-minute band performance with some of my batch mates (Pak,Yingcheng,Liyang,Samuel,Justin,Keijun,Haocheng,Daryl,Yingfeng,Sec4Kenneth,Junjie) and sec 2 batch ppl.

Played Sesame Street for CNY dinner lol. But i guess it was kinda okay since we practised the song for only 1-2 hours?

I wonder if anyone has a video >_>

Gonna be a short post ; have...uhhh...slacking to do :o

So over the CNY holidays and stuff i havent really been doing much so not really gonna talk much about it....

Want to introduce http://soshified.com/forums to people who are fans of SNSD but dont know yet ( yeah i know a lot of SNSD fan friends for whatever reasons they like SNSD =D)

SoShified is a very big fansite with over 80k members as of now and even SNSD members themselves registered (so if you're really lucky u might see them online but you cant talk to them ah cuz it would jam their computers x.x)

Alot of treasure inside if u really like SNSD, so why not give it a go :o?

OH and...TaeYeon is DJ for a station Chinhan Chingu everyday 8pm-10pm (singapore 7pm-9pm) and there's a live stream which shows video and audio of her at the station doing her DJ stuff so it's pretty cool... and Lol i took a screeny,

LOL there're people talking at the side and some kind people might help you translate what they were saying (like today).

She was like kinda tired when she wasnt talking though D:

So...yeah that's all i'm gonna post for today.

Happy CNY / Valentines Day~!

Coincidentally this is the 88th post, what a good sign LOL.

And since i'm not gonne do my homework for awhile i decided to spend some time getting experience for making videos ... annnd here's my product for the day :

REVENGE OF PINK PANTHER

Okay i didn't really spend much time on the editting and filming (roughly 1 hour total) so dont expect very good quality stuff.

Actually wanted to make a horror movie thing of sorts but maybe i'll leave that for tmr?

ANYWAYS if any PPS6-10'07 people are reading, we're gonna visit Mrs Lau's house on 21st February which is a Sunday, Chen lao shi is also going. So...if you decide to come please drop me a message anywhere (email/sms/msn/mailbox/come to my house and talk to my face/webcam) so i can tell Mrs Lau the rough number of people going so she can prepare the food and stuff xD

Expect her famous chocolate muffins lol.

Also IMPORTANT is that we need to prepare a shared gift for her inviting us to her house. We can pool in our money and buy something really great to surprise her. Or we could always make something (video hint hint).

Alriightt I'm back. Yeah I am.

I'll try to blog at least once per week, perhaps more i guess.

Alright let's start with Friday 12/2/2010

Started with me going to school in wrong attire. Apparently CNY clothing is not GREEN shirt + Dark Jeans. Nice 1 Kelvin.
Walked past like at least 20 of my friends like "Eh, Kelvin nice colouring sia."
People like Jeremy(wong),Makwaichong, ppl from my class etc.

Skipping all the CNY events, I loitered around Junction 8 awhile then went back to PPS.
And I somehow got into Mrs Lau's class and they were having a class party. Thanks to my sister.

Then met Xinde and ZhenXiang when they came around the time when PPS students were dismissed. I went out the gate to get them, then found myself stuck outside cuz i can't get pass the teacher guarding the gate. My bag was inside -.- Lucky my sis brought it out for me.

Then the 3 of us went Kopitiam to eat. Then met Zc,Nick,Chenyou,Jingyi,Zhongwei,Chuaxuan in school. Talked to Mrs Lau a bit more then i left home for shower.

After that i met them then went to watch I Hate Valentines Day (Xinde,zx,chuaxuan,zc couldnt come).
Guess the movie was kinda interesting. Best part was when the main char didnt know how to ask the girl out, then when he saw the girl on the street, he was like "I WANNA HAVE SEX WITH YOU!" Then everyone was like o_o

After that we just went walking around AMKhub before dinner, which a lot of random stuff happened. Like we were laughing damn hard then Nick went to grab onto some stranger's shoulder (which he thought was mine) then the stranger was like o.O.

Dinner was at Macs.

And....the week ended with no valentines partner. Yeeah.

If you try to play Parasite Eve (either II or I) alone at home (like i am right now) and turn on the sound to max..hmm.

Not so cool.

And very, very freaky. Good point since it's supposed to be horror themed.
Like, because of the almost lack of background music when you are travelling around it's damn creepy.

Dreams are infinitely random aren't they. Here's what happened:

-I was at the admin block at night.Some random stuff moving around while the whole place was dark. Only place bright was the Atrium. Suddenly some random distortions in the space.

-Then i was hating Sunday and spamming homework for awhile.

-Then suddenly i was going to be late for school and missing the bus once then going back home to get some stuff i forgot.

-Then i was try to solve some weird question.

=.= Weird dreams.
Yeah.

Next time don't tell someone "Sweet dreams!"
Because everyone knows they don't exist(for long)
Only a matter of time before they turn extremely weird.

Yes things have changed after SYF, but i'm glad that many things remain unchanged:

Philosophy lessons will remain as funny as they are.

Especially with our favourite Jun Shuo around.

Today was really funny and weird lol.

Start of the lesson talk about Golden Rule (namely "Do unto others what you want others to do unto you"),i guess it was fine, but when we reached mid-point JunShuo started asking weird riddle qns again O.o

Well by chores, i mean chores, not just some parts of CS. I'm not saying that CS is boring, just that today's was.Yeah.I think the whole class can support that.

Tiring projects, homework and other research will remain as chore-ish as they are.

Okay that was a boring celebration.

Well today was, guess what, our SYF performance, not to forget my batch (batch of 2011) 's first public performance AND first competition.

Was, very meaningful, even though we only got a silver. We managed to play our best and rocked the hall (quoting johnson lol). Well actually my lips were a little tired but yeah it was still very fun.

I guess this whole SYF training process was rather hectic for me, but also very, well, important. Made me improve my sight-reading quite a bit (compared to last year's REACT) now can sight-read Canon in D if the timing is like 40 xD

Wow Chiraag is a professional socializer.

Today we saw 2 rgssb girls at the bubble tea shop area (who also went to watch our performance). Wanted to ask them how they thought of our performance but didn't really ask and just walked past.Then Chiraag was like

C:"So how do ya think of our performance today?"

You know, i can rarely contribute to my Facebook account since i have so little pictures of related stuff (especially pictures of myself, probably only...2 right now).

I guess importing my blog into my Facebook account helps.

Speaking about rarity im actually posting at 50mins past midnight with an English presentation,Chinese CCT on Monday and CS homework + CLE presentations undone.

Madness i must say.

Wow my room is so cold.
So so so cold.

Anyways since i havent been blogging i figured i'll probably blog something last minute.So my blog doesnt look dead.

Well we (sec 1 + 2s) found out that we have "compulsory" swim carnival attendance tomorrow.Which means we'll miss cca (im talking about band). Which is bad.

I have to say.Arjun is most certainly the most enthusiastic guy in our batch (future bm???).The first thing he told me after the announcement was "Pon swim carn.Go band".

Yeah i did agree to that.And i had some little temptations to go for swimming carnival(kinda guilty D=).

Anyways that's not really a problem anymore since we'll have compulsory band after 3.30pm(Going to swim carn til 3.30pm then go band.Best of both worlds heh).

But what if they did not implement that?

Time to prioritize (lol).

Option 1 : Swimming carnival
Go to swimming carnival and cheer for your own team.Stone for 4 hours.
Meaningful because can spur on your own team.

Option 2 : Band practice
Go for band practice and refine your intrumental playing skills.Practice for 4 hours.
Important because of near competitions.

Note the difference between "meaningful" and "important".

Not that im saying im so enthusiastic for band but,it is really more important IMO.

Anyways nooooooooo combined batch outing is scrapped D=.

Which would you choose?

Okay i don't really mean it like in a literal sense,more like a figurative sense.

Take this for example:
One day,you found out that there is this compulsory(unless you quit school) test that requires sooo much mugging that it will be sooo hard.But if you actually make it and ace it,you will have so many opportunities for -blank-.
If you get 70-80/100,nothing would really happen(except you feel happy).
However,if you get lower than 60/100,you will be kicked out of school.

So,would you rather quit school first or take the test?

I know it doesn't sound realistic,but forgive me,i coulnd't come up with better ideas.

If you choose to "die":
Free from most troubles and pain,but there isn't any future to look forward for you.At least nothing very very good.

If you choose to "live":
Much problems and pain might come along,but as you defeat the challenges,you will begin to gain experience and grow,which might be able to(in the future.Yes there is a future) kill off the pain and sorrow.Though you have a future,there is no telling whether it will be good or bad.Destiny is in your own hands.

Which would you choose...?

Having my own clainet(set) would be so nice.Of course by set i mean clarinet,reeds,tuner,cleaning equipment etc.

But as i see it(current saving style) it would take me at least...hmmm..let's see...

Around 800 weeks.

How nice.

Unless i do something more drastic.

And of course i don't mean robbing a bank or something.

More like getting a part time job during holidays to get enough money.

But then again,wouldn't i rather spend the time refining my clarinet playing?

After all,i do believe that the sword does not have as great an impact as the swordsman have.

But then again,if another swordsman has a shield and armour,it might be a different case.

Okay by that i was referring to the tuners,cleaning equipment and stuff.

LOL today after band we discovered(by we i mean uh...me and arjun) that the sec 4 seniors actually go to bubbletea shop after every (official)band practice.

Wonder if it is a secret xD.

How weird that we have never really met them everytime we go for bubbletea.

Went home (new route i usually dont take) same way with johnson,and found out how super fast the new route is compared to my usual route home.

Maybe i should take that route everyday now.Though it costs a little more =\...
