The Cannes Film Festival continued in the French Rivera this week and the fabulous (and not so fabulous) red carpet and photocall looks continued.

We’ve gone though all the of this weeks looks and weeded out the best from this week.

First off is Irina Shayk, who wore a stunning beaded Roberto Cavalli dress to the de Grisogono Photocall. One person who has been killing in on every red carpet and photocall is Diane Kruger and one of our favorite looks of hers from this week is the metallic Vivienne Westwood Couture gown she wore to the “Amour” premiere.

One of the events held during the Festival de Cannes is the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS screening. Both Nina Dobrev and Milla Jovovich attended the event and looked amazing on the red carpet. Nina (who is quickly becoming “one to watch” on the red carpet) showed some skin in a blue sequin off the shoulder Elie Saab gown complete with a sexy slit. Milla kept it fun with an Atelier Versace Spring 2012 gown, we love all the different textures on this gown.

Mia Wasikowska kept it simple but stunning a deep plum J. Mendel textured silk cloque deep v-neck gown for the “Lawless” premiere.

Two actresses get double love from us. First off is Kirsten Stewart, hit the carpet twice this week. On Wednesday, Kristen wore a custom Balenciaga gown to the screening of her film “On The Road”. We loved this dress, with the cream and green along with the v-neck, it fit the event perfectly. On Friday, Kristen hit the red carpet for the screening of “Cosmopolis” starring Robert Pattinson in a bright red Reem Acra gown.

Nicole Kidman is the actress getting two mentions. At the premiere for “Paperboy” Nicole wore a stunning one shoulder, draped Lanvin gown with gold detailing. Keeping it a little more simple at the photocall for “Hemingway & Gellhorn”, Nicole went black and white in Christian Dior Couture.

It’s playoff season and we’re headed to the conference finals. You might find it surprising that a fashion magazine is talking about basketball, but you have to wonder: what does someone with a multi-million dollar salary wear when he’s not on the court? Well, we have your answer in the video below, featuring the superstars of the NBA en route to the games and we have to say, these guys have style. Miami Heat’s Dwayne Wade shows off a light grey suit with pocket square flare and lapel pin, while LA Lakers’s Kobe Bryant dons a crisp blue suit and brown tie, with just a sliver of a pocket square showing. Then you have Carmelo Anthony of the NY Knicks rocking an incredible, red leather jacket by Simon Spurr. Rajon Rondo struts in a 3-piece suit, headphones and escorts in tow. Oh fashion rumors, you never seem to disappoint. However, when they are confirmed to be true we all always say “I knew it was true.” So basically I’m chiming in here and saying I knew it was true from the start. You’re probably wondering what we’re talking about. Remember when famous fashion blogger Bryanboy was rumored to join the cast of America’s Next Top Model? Yeah, that’s true.

WWD confirmed it this morning; reporting that sources close to Bryan have confirmed that he has indeed signed a contract and is en route to L.A. to start filming the 19th season. Well this is kind of a surprise to us actually, while we respect Bryan and his amazing hustle, it’s the whole bringing a style blogger onto the scene that really confuses us. However, we do realize how amazing Bryan is at his job and we wish him all the best on his newest endeavor.

Kylie Minogue is heating things up in her new video “Timebomb”. Monday marks the singer’s 44th birthday and age isn’t stopping this superstar from donning a sexy pair of cutoff jean shorts and straddling a motorbike, all the while dancing and seducing the camera.

Keep an eye out for Kylie this Sunday, as she performs “Timebomb” on The Voice UK. A singles compilation, which does not include the new track, is also set to release next month.

Last night was a beautiful start to the summer season with Chandon and the rest of the fashion folk at the Standard Biergarten. You may know that fashion people aren’t to keen to competitions, unless it’s at a sample sale; you could imagine our surprise to see Stacey Bendet playing ping-pong thanks to SPiN New York!

We dressed in our summer best and sipped out of the adorable limited edition mini-bottles and threw back tasty Chandon cocktails after a long day, it was divine. It was pretty great to dance at the beach party with guest(s) including: Estelle, Charlotte Ronson, Mario Cantone, Melanie Fiona, Jon Huertas, Lorenzo Martone and Bret Lockett. Obviously, this was the party of the night!

Just in time for the Memorial Day Weekend, Hawaiian Tropic kicked off summer with an exciting ‘Things We Love’ Summer Sail around New York City. Shortly after twelve noon on Wednesday, The Atlantica vessel set sail upon the New York harbor fully equipped with tasty treats and fabulous cocktails. Bloggers and publishers cruised along the Hudson taking in New York architecture, the Statue of Liberty and the Jersey shoreline, while networking and sampling delicious hors d’oeuvres.

Gentleman, if you are anything like me than this upcoming Memorial Day is really just an excuse for you to do keg stands like you did in college and possibly wake up Monday morning on the beach. If you are also like me, you’ll have one killer outfit and we’ve got some great recommendations for you. We know, we do so much for you, but it’s because we love you.

It’s hard to put together a good outfit for a weekend you probably won’t remember. Start off with a good pair of shorts, like these, from Gant Rugger (available at Barney’s, $135). A good chino short is hard to find. We’re obsessed over how soft this American Eagle Hoodie T is (available at AE, $29.50). Also, you’ll probably pick up a lot of things along the way and this Jack Spade Boat Dipper Coal Bag (available at Jack Spade, $195.00) is perfect! It will literally fit everything you need; towels, coronas, shot glasses, sunglasses and whatever else you decide to bring with you on this adventure! Last stop, the shoe department. I’m a huge fan of running around in a pair of Clark’s in the summer; like these (available at Clarks, $119). They are beyond comfortable; undo the laces or tie them up and you’ll stay stylish all summer!

Just do us a favor and make sure you come back with all the junk you brought with you. If I had a dollar for every sandal, Birkin or towel I lost, I’d have a lot of dollars!

We’re pretty big fans of American Eagle, and we feel they are sometimes over looked. However, whenever you need an on trend piece or just something cute at an affordable price, American Eagle does the trick. With that being said, we are more than excited to share some AE news with you.

American Eagle, for the first time ever, will be doing a print campaign. They’ve got 15 stars lined up for the 2012 “Live Your Life” campaign. The campaign will showcase the brand and their respect for individual style. The first of the 15 to step out in AE is Shay Mitchell, star of Pretty Little Liars. Shay stepped out and showed us all how she lives her life in American Eagle’s new Skinny Kick jeans!

Going throughout the summer the other 14 guys and gals will be revealed, making this one damn good time!

To quote P’Trique “Is it resort wear time all ready?” and the answer to that is yes, the collections for resort 2013 have begun.

DKNY resort collections are always fabulous and the collection for 2013 is no exception. Full of black, whites, pinks, and reds; the 2013 collection mixes solids, prints and textures together seamlessly.

Our favorites include look 3, which is an all black dress with sheer sleeves; look 8, a black and white lace dress with black collar; look 12 which is colorblocking at its best with pinks, reds, blacks, and the pattern on the skirt adds some fun to the look; and look 38 is perfection with its black sleeves, white dress, and black/white belt.
