My family and I had a great weekend, celebrating my little niece Skyla’s 3 Year Old birthday. It’s hard to believe how fast time goes by. We are also in the process of re-doing my sitting room. The paint is all finished, and excited for the rest of the room to be done! I will share photo’s of the room once it is all finished!

What a fun week! Well, any week is a fun week when you are in love. My hubby took me out on a fun date for Valentines Day. We went to one of our favorite Restaurants and then went for a dessert run, and last but not least a movie. I love spending time with him! What did you do for Valentines Day?

Happy Valentines Day! Hope you are feeling very special today, because there is no one else on earth as Amazing as you!

Today me and Kenzie decorated some goodie bags with hearts, kisses & love birds. Nothing says “I Love You” like 2 little Love Birds. We are also going to make a few heart necklaces! Hoping they turn out ok.

I am so blessed to have an incredible hubby & daughter in my life, that I Love very much! Love is just a word until someone comes along and gives it meaning. They definitely give the word Love a meaning! Happy Happy Valentines Day Mark & Kenzie!

I recently tried out the popular Twisted Updo on my daughter Kenzie. I really was pleased with the results, and she loved it! She wants me to do her hair like this everyday.  I posted the pic of my little Kenzie on my instagram after doing it, and was asked for a tutorial. I thought it would be a great idea, so without further ado here is how you do the Twisted Updo.

Items Needed:

  • 1 ponytail holder
  • bobby pins

First Step: Separate your child’s hair into 3 sections.

Second Step: Tie the middle section into a low pony.

Third Step: After tying the middle section into a low pony…Then pull the ponytail holder halfway down. Twist the bottom of the hair from the section with the ponytail. Twist it up and tuck under the pony and secure it with bobby pins. Make sure the ponytail holder is not showing.

Fourth Step: Twist each side section and add it to the middle section twist, then secure with bobby pins. Voila, your done!
