I haven't been blogging in a very long time now...
I was just being too lazy to actually bring up much of an update of what's really going on in my life...
But then again, the thing is that I am busy-ing with my studies as well...
just an awesome night, spent sitting in this messy room...:P(My gf's been bugging me to clean it of course)
Anyway, well, let's see... pile of clothes... a bottle of Vodka, two glasses, some old pizza boxes, my gf's teddy bear... and technically the rest are just trash... well, the usual you get from a room that has not been cleaned in months...
I would actually take a photo of my room but I wouldn't do it because it would just be embarrassing myself right?
But anyway, I really need to get some time to clean up my room... I've been MIA from blogging... As you can see... I've spent 3 months working... as a Customer Support Executive... Damn a really annoying job...
I've spent 1 month in training and 2 months in active service in Astro's Call Centre... That's right... It is an annoying one... An average of 60-70 calls per day and expect at least 80% of them are reconnections... this is by far the most annoying job you can ever get... Though a little fun when you were scolding all kinds of nonsense once you put them on mute... That's the fun part... Located at an isolated place called CapSquare on the edge of Kuala Lumpur, I doubt anyone ever heard of it anyway... at least none of my friends do... It is so isolated that no one even bothered going there... anyway, As I was saying, located in an isolated place, I've spent 2 months in this building... of 2 floors... though I've met plenty of nice people around and plenty of unpleasant ones... I've finally realized that this is how tough the working life is... though a short time period... I've learned plenty... And in case anyone's asking me for photos of the area... sorry guys, no photos in this call centre...

As seen in the trailer, cars go boom, bullets flying everywhere, and yes, the awesome action begins. This is Medal of Honor. For most of you fans of the original Medal of Honor series, this is by far the best installment since Medal of Honor Allied Assault. For most Call of Duty fans, you might think that this whole new Medal of Honor is a complete rip-off from Modern Warfare 2. Well, guess what? It isn't. Medal of Honor puts you into the boots of 3 different characters, namely Rabbit, Deuce and Spc. Adams. You are tasked into well, eliminating the Taliban of course. Go deep into enemy controlled areas, with the help of local rebels, or team mates. Of course, we can never forget the bearded guy on the cover whose name is Dusty. The action for the game itself was a totally new experience from what you get when you play Call of Duty. Explosions aren't as big as they should be. Grenades don't go with a big boom but instead, it goes with a rather smaller explosion.

The scenery of the Afghan mountains were breathtaking. It actually make you feel like you are inside the game itself. Though storyline was awesome as it is. The action lacked the insane swarm of enemies from what you get in Modern Warfare 2 which makes this more realistic for a shooter. Overall, I have gotten to love those sliding moves where you can't really do in most shooters with just as simple as sprint and crouch. Oh yeah, sliding down for cover behind rocks after sprinting is in. Beat that, Modern Warfare 2. The AI for the opposition were quite good. As most of the AI will tend to seek proper cover and fire at you. Though the limitation of the weapons was a little of a downfall and the terrain makes it hard for you to spot where they are.

Fantastic scenery. Is Osama there?

Hey, that's my house you're breaking into...

Maybe we should go hiking someday...

Realistic firefights proved that this game is not to be underestimated by most Call of Duty die hard fans. Overall, the realism has made this game to a really high score. IEDs, sniping and the wind speed and direction affecting it, this has got to be the most close to life shooter ever made so far. The down part for the game is its short storyline and the little variety of weapons. Graphics for the game has brought this game up, though the graphics demand wasn't high. As my 9600 GT can run it at medium without any lags. AI was intelligent enough. Sound quality was superb. Overall, rating. Graphics 9/10. AI 8.5/10. Storyline 9.5/10. And finally, it's here... Civilization V... the latest installment to Firaxis' Sid Meier's Civilization series... first, I've expect the controls to be more complex with new things coming up... However, it wasn't as complex as I thought, though I barely have enough time to try out the game recently... But as far for I can say, the User Interface or UI is simple... very few options compared to what was seen in the previous installment... Civilizations from lesser known ares such as Siam and the Songhai were featured in this installment... However nice it looks, the army doesn't look like 3 gigantic soldiers walking around the map... but instead an entire regiment of soldiers... compared to Civilization IV... one more thing to add is that we can all kiss the squares goodbye and welcome back to the Hexagons... in Civilization V, we will not be using the squares like we did in Civilization IV...Hexagons have returned to replace the tiles in Civilization V... Graphics was spectacular as the lighting has changed a lot from Civilization IV... what can you say? 5 years in the development... It has to be awesome... Though I would say that there will no longer villages to explore that gives you bonuses but ruins which gives you gold or manpower... overall, since I don't get to play much bout the game... I leave it for another time before I'll be rating this game...

And recently, I've managed to get my hands on Street Fighter 4... of course, my girlfriend had never touched it... until recently... So, while she was giving a shot at Street Fighter 4... she had managed to get a hang of almost all the characters except Bison... Me, on the other hand, sucked at all the characters except Sagat... the Muay Thai fighter from the first Street Fighter... and amazingly, though I always do suck at fighting games, Sagat was the only character that I've managed to master well enough to try to fight Seth... pathetic eh? of course... i got pwned badly while fighting Seth... amazingly, my girlfriend managed to use the other fighters way better than i do... though i usually don't last the first round... except for Sagat... pathetic but true...

Sagat pwning little Ryu as usual...

the big bad boss of Street Fighter in the previous series... only to be replaced by the awesomeness of Seth

As expected another game based movie should be disappointing right? Failure after failure after failure... Games are just not meant to be movies... Though we've seen how Timothy Olyphant had portrayed Agent 47 in Hitman and Mark Walhberg who potrayed the title character Max Payne... These were not much of a disappointment but turned out to be okay... We have seen how Uwe Boll transformed awesome games into disasters... such as Far Cry, Postal and Bloodrayne... From Super Mario Brothers till Doom, none of the game titles ever succeed in capturing my eye except for this beautifully done film... Amazing CG for such a smashing title... This film wasn't supposed to be another one of those overly done shows like Doom...

Well, as said, PoP wasn't my first choice of film to watch, I've always doubted that game based movies have been failures all these time save for Hitman and Max Payne. However, these 2 game based movies have moved away from the usual styles depicted in the game itself... PoP on the other hand keep most of the elements found in the game itself yet manage to stun the audience with amazing CG and action. The charming Brokeback Mountaineer Jake Gyllenhaal has played the role of the Prince known as Dastan well. With Ben Kingsley playing the evil uncle Nizam, what could possibly go wrong?

As far as for the storyline, it is simplistic but done well, however there were spaces for more improvements. CG was stunning, action scenes were intense and cool. The world is indeed in a state of chaos. A world with no laws, no boundaries. That is chaos. With the excuse of freedom of expression, worse things keep popping up every year. From extreme pornography to violence. The numbers just won't stop. The world is coming to an end. Chaos will rule the world. Or so it seems that we have already lost all hope. But, hope is always there. Order can be restored. The idea of a world without boundaries, the freedom of expression. These are devils in disguise. What the world really need now is a limit of the freedom of expression. We must start to come back to our senses... too much freedom is always bad... we can do whatever we want... we can kill, we can rape, we can torch someone's house... anything...

To me, that is chaos... the freedom of expression without limit... that's what's happening around the world. Too much freedom... Freedom with a limit. No laws, no regulations... This seems an ideal world to some...
However, when you come back and have a look at it... It's a chaotic world... Everyone is not at peace... That's why, we have laws to maintain order...

However, in this case, chaos is widespread... Freedom of expression. That is their excuse...
Freedom of expression does not mean that you are allowed to express whatever you want without and boundaries... We are at a stage where freedom of expression removes the boundaries of the laws... Nations rise and nations fall... That's how dangerous this thing is... Iran, Iraq, China... These are the nations being threatened by the freedom of expression... Yes, we can have the freedom to express all our feelings... However, as usual... too much is not good... That's when chaos happens...

Another clear example of too much of freedom of expression would be in games. Nowadays, games get more and more violent. Some might have too much sexual content. Take for example, adult based games such as eroge which are pornographic games. Despite the extent of their pornographic content, they still go on sale... However, the time when you have to draw the line of tolerance comes. A particular game, called Rapelay (I know, I've mentioned this game in my previous post. However, it's controversial...and suit this post) came to stores. A game which promotes sexual violence. Think again, why do we allow this to happen? The game itself was banned in the United States for too much violent content. A non-governmental organization called Equality Now has raised complaints against to the Japanese government regarding such product. However, due to this, fans of eroge were outraged. But come to think of it... Does anyone here think that women don't have rights?

Well, after reading this you might find out why. People have adopted their virtual world into the real world. The extreme pornographic theme found in eroges are beyond anyway one can mention. This was actually a bad influence in the society today. However, with more of these people supporting the freedom of expression, the world will fall into chaos. That's why censorship was introduced to prevent more of these from happening. However, come to think of it, a large number of people are against bans on extreme pornography in the form of eroge and hentai... Well, this is how the world will fall into chaos... Of course, I myself am against violence against women too... However, when we come back to have a look at it... Some fans of pornographic games especially those from Japan were not against it... Take for example, the controversial game RapeLay. When a group tried to ban all games involving sexual violence, they were badly attacked by the fans of such games...

Then, I ask this question to everyone... Would it be better that it should be banned? Or not? I say... BAN! why one earth would anyone agree to sexual violence isn't that true? Well, one things for sure... Urging to Otakus worldwide... "GET A LIFE!" I mean, come on... Indulging yourselves to the extent that you forget everything around you? I almost did... And someone saved me from it... thank goodness... Anyway, the question is... If you're into such games which promotes sexual violence... or any form of violence at all... Let's say Grand Theft Auto...Why was GTA criticized badly yet very few defended it? And why on earth are these people defending such games?

Recap: this idea... of making more pornographic games... is it rational? I mean, the more people get exposed to it, the more they turn perverse... isn't pornography enough already? Why are we still going to the next step? Honestly speaking... I do think most pornographic game should be banned as well...

Chaos is everywhere. Humans running away trampling over each other just to save their lives. Well, what can you expect? It's a disaster film. That is 2012. Another random time when I have nothing better to do than to sit in the cinema, with popcorn and with my girlfriend.

2012 started with a quite calming scene of 2 friends visiting. However, it turned quite fast into a disaster. Global temperature rising. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, that's what you expect of one anyway. Roland Emmerich didn't waste time into bringing the suspense early in the story. However, the suspense was a little way too early but, it shows that Roland Emmerich does not intend to waste time over boring intros.

The story progression kept the viewers stick to their chairs instead of leaving the cinema. Kudos to the CG team. Without it, the movie would have sucked like 2012: Doomsday. Well, can't compare high budget films with low budget films. The action scene was so-so. The supposedly comedic parts were lame. A supposedly intense scene turned me down when the actor was way too calm in such an intense scene.

Despite the lame comedic scenes, the progression of the story was average. But, the CG pulled up the scores for the whole show. I'm giving it a 7/10

We are such pitiful creatures... With our vast knowledge, yet, we could not progress far... Such a pity... The main reason... We did not put our knowledge to full use... Instead of focusing on such unimportant matters such as war and politics, we could have focused more on bringing peace to everyone... Nuclear weapons? We don't need them... They have no use for us... Who says peace can be achieved through war? Is this saying really true? that a total annihilation of one side means peace? Wouldn't this continue on for another one? Eventually, we will annihilate ourselves... We are capable of provoking a silly thing. Imagine a world without racism and religion. We can still find fault with one another for a silly reason. Question is why are we like that? I readied my gun and started walking out of the bedroom I was sleeping in. I aimed it at the door and then walked slowly trying to make as little noise as possible. The noise comes from downstairs, slowly, I walked down the staircase with my gun ready. I kept myself alert and looked at the surroundings trying to find where that noise is coming from. As I approached the kitchen, it became louder. I looked carefully into the kitchen. A woman with an apron was going through the fridge and looking for some nice stuff to cook.

I called out to her and she looked at me with a calm look. I lowered my gun as I saw a familiar face. "Mom?"

"Yes, honey?"

"I thought you were..." I tried to make some sense.

"Dead? Yes, I am dead." She replied.

"But how, what's going on here?"

"You're dreaming, Jim."

I slapped myself a few times trying to make sure it's a dream. I barely felt a thing. She made some pancakes.

"Come on, eat it before it gets cold." she said asking me to have breakfast.

"Mom, why are you here?" I asked.

"Jim. It's been a while. I visited you here to see what you've had become." she said with a calm voice. "Now now, come on. Eat it while it's still hot."

I took a chair and sat down preparing to eat. Boy, it's delicious. That pancake. I haven't had it ever since she died 5 years ago.

"Mmhmm mhhmhmhm..." I mumbled with the pancake in my mouth.

"Don't talk with your mouth full.",she said, lecturing me like I'm still a child.

"I came here just to see how you've become, Jim. I've missed you ever since that day I have to leave. Seems like you're doing quite well, nowadays."

"What happened to everyone? I mean where is everyone?" I asked thinking that she might know something.

"It's not what happened to everyone. It's what happened to you. No one left you."

"Jim. Jim." a strange eerie voice called out.

"Who's that?" I said.

"Jim, you'd better be going soon. I can't stay here any longer. But before I leave, I wanted to tell you something. When you found everyone back, spend more time with them than you usually do while you still can." she said, her voice getting fainter and fainter.

"Wait, what do you mean by that? Mom, where are you going? No! Don't leave me here." I tried to grab hold of her. But a bright light shone upon me and she disappeared.

I looked towards the bright light and I looked back to see if there's anything. But I decided that I would rush towards the bright light. I ran and ran and ran towards it. And I ended up lying down on a bed. A blinding light was aimed at my eye. I tried to look around and I see a few people surrounding me. They were wearing white suits. Are they doctors?

I looked around and I smelt something of a weird smell. It smelled like a hospital and I realized, it's because I am in one. I looked around. My wife stood not far away crying. My children were panicking.

"He's fine. He just woke up from his coma." one of the doctors said.

"Coma? what happened?"

"You had an accident 10 days ago. And you were in a coma ever since." she said.

"Wow, considering a cardiac arrest just now, I'm surprised that it woke you up. Someone up there must've loved you really much." the doctor said and left.

I looked at my wife with her teary eyes and my children. They rushed towards me and gave me a hug. I was crying, How could I ever say what happened to me there? I was alone and I nearly killed myself in there. If I had done that, I would had been dead. I looked at them, and said, "I'm glad to be back."

From my view, things like these is not nothing. There is no perfect human. Humans are created equal in a way but they are created different according to their abilities. Talent is what they have. Some people are good at entertaining. Some are good at thinking. Some are good at doing the harsh work. Perhaps, most people should start to rethink this. Talents are not based on their genetic code. But talent is based on whether you choose to do it or not. If you have the passion for that field, talent comes in naturally. As you choose to learn.

Take a princess and throw her in a farm. She might not be able to work in the beginning. But as time goes on, she'll learn and she can become a good farmer as well. Take a pauper, throw him/her in as a prince or princess. He'll learn how to govern his subjects in a matter of time. What they are good at doing is not based on who they are but what they chose to do to their lives. Despite this might be an already obvious thing. I still find that most people today still say like this person is so great at this and that. I find it uninteresting and say that humans are equal in all sense of ways.

And within the trailer, I just realized that there are countries without an army. For example, Costa Rica's Article 12 of their constitution abolishes the military forces ending the military spirit in the country. The abolishing of the military happened 1 year after the Costa Rican civil war which resulted with the overthrowing of their government. Ever since, Costa Rica has never went into civil war despite their neighbors do.

Today, their supposed military budget is focused on security, education and culture. This resulted in a peaceful nation which remains neutral in it's stance. From this nation, I've had came to realize. Why do we even need soldiers? Why do we fight? Is it necessary? If every nation in the world lay down their weapons and trade in for tool to build. Instead of tools of murder and despair, humans should rethink that war is the unnecessary method. Why on earth do we listen to our selfish leaders? Who decided that war is the only matter to gain what they want. Foolish leaders, because of your greed, you have caused young men and women to die. Fighting for an ideology, is it even important?

Militants world wide, especially religious extremists and radicals, think back! Would your religion approve of murder of innocent civilians? How about the murder of many women and children? These people have nothing but each other and their will to survive. Why do we fight? Humans are humans. Race and religion is not anything worth fighting for. Why do we have to separate people by groups. Why do we even identify each other in different races? Why not calling each of us as humans and humans alone. What is the difference? Africans, Caucasians, Arabs, Indians, Asians and other races, we are humans. Humanity has no need to fight to show who's different. Soldiers, lay down your weapons. Politicians, think of other ways to solve a conflict. The world needs to stop thinking each other as a different race but humans.

Laying down their weapons in trade for tools to educate, to build, to help is what every nation should do. Give the weapons to guards and police. Why do we even need to buy tanks and create more guns to kill? Leave the battlefield, join the people around to create a happy world. Without an army, there would be no reason to fight. Without an army, politicians would not interfere with other nations' internal affairs. Lay down your weapons and start to think again.

One form of music which has began from the old ages and the longest surviving genre of music. Never obsolete and never forgotten. I've been spending hours and hours in front of my PC listening to instrumentals. It doesn't matter which era they are from. Classical, New Age, it always tell a story which will not describe in words. For example, Playing Love by Ennio Morricone from the movie The Legend of 1900, describes about the thoughts of a man when he sees a girl. Stories need not be told in pictures or words. Music itself carries a story. Plain music without words. Despite the great songs everywhere, there are those who finds it boring and uninteresting.

Plain music without words tell stories which no words can ever describe. Most of today's popular music are nothing but a corruption towards good music. Good music today is under-appreciated as more and more people has succumbed to the trends of music which promotes killing, death, self harming, sex and other immoral acts. What everyone should do, is to stop listening to every other songs and give these beautiful instrumentals a try.

Failure of understanding humanity's worth?

Self harming as most usually recognize it as a part of the Emo subculture is a method of doing physical harm towards one self. However, this self harming is not just a normal harming. What puzzles me today is why on earth would humans even harm themselves? I mean, is there any good coming from people being emo nowadays? What is it that humans prefer cutting their own wrists or doing any severe physical harm to themselves?

The only question I would wish to post to all those people out there who are still living within the emo subculture. Why do you even want to harm yourselves? Do you even care about the people around you who cares about you a lot? Harming yourself is not a way of expression. It is mere stupidity. If god wants us to harm ourselves, he would had turn it into a commandment. Emo or not, this is not worth doing. Origins of emo are from the popular music. Bands such as "My Chemical Romance" are promoting people to harm themselves. You teens have better things to do. Harming yourself is never a good idea.

Wake up world. This world is never miserable. The ones who are miserable is you people. You people wanted it to be miserable. That's why you feel that it's miserable. I find it ironic that humans who are created to protect themselves wants to harm themselves instead. Humans are not stupid. Humans are an intelligent race and the stupidity comes from why we do irrational things? Grow up people!

Please. Do not stop reading this post.

Challenging minds. Animes have become a trend. A culture in the world. Something Japan has contributed. Though, they have been challenging everyone's minds. They have proven to be ridiculous at times. I have suddenly thought of this. Animes are something which are not worth watching when you have other things to do. It is merely a fantasy world where its purpose is to entertain you. However, too much entertainment has its toll. Though the question is, too much anime can cause your intelligence to deteriorate? Plausible theory. My claim is that the more you watch, the more you neglect other stuff such as challenging your minds to explore new things and new possibilities.

Though this doesn't really say that only animes will do. So, the title should be changed to too much of any entertainment causes your mind to go down to zero. True? WRONG! Despite how much, I've experimented it with, entertainment doesn't really kills your intelligence. However, if you're watching some lame shows on the TV, yes it does. Entertainment such as video games in fact makes you think better.

In fact, certain games have proven to have sharpen the minds of many. However, that doesn't mean that you should stick your face in front of the TV with the console or the PC to play all sorts of games. Some games in fact makes your intelligence go down. Back to topic. We're discussing about animes and intelligence right? Well, for what I can see, some people had already forgotten about what's important in their lives when they started watching animes or any other things on TV. I've spent my time watching too much animes in the previous year. And to my surprise, I've realized, that too much is bad. My point is anime is a fantasy, where the impossible happens. Real life shows however, couldn't achieve the impossible since they couldn't defy the laws of physics. In this case, Real life shows would be more suitable for humanity instead of animes. When we watch things on TV. We tend to believe that what they do is real. So, in this case, we deny our own reality and substitute it with theirs.

As to conclude this post, my point is, to not let yourself be absorbed into the anime world but keep a part of your consciousness to be in the real world. A balance on both animes and our TV shows would be nice. The more we absorb fantasy, the more our minds become rotten. As our minds focus on fantasy stimuli and not the real world. And this will result in weakened intelligence and focus. I suggest to all who reads this post to think more of the real life than to indulge fully into the world of fantasy
