26 What then is the right course, believers? When you meet together, each one has a psalm, a teaching, a revelation (disclosure of special knowledge), a tongue, or an interpretation. Let everything be constructive and edifying and done for the good of all the church. 27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, it should be limited to two or at the most three, and each one speaking in turn, and one must interpret [what is said]. 28 But if there is no one to interpret, the one [who wishes to speak in a tongue] must keep silent in church; let him speak to himself and to God. 29 Let two or three prophets speak [as inspired by the Holy Spirit], while the rest pay attention and weigh carefully what is said. 30 But if an inspired revelation is made to another who is seated, then the first one must be silent. 31 For [in this way] you can all prophesy one by one, so that everyone may be instructed and everyone may be encouraged; 32 for the spirits of prophets are subject to the prophets [the prophecy is under the speaker’s control, and he can stop speaking]; 33 for God [who is the source of their prophesying] is not a God of confusion and disorder but of peace and order.

As [is the practice] in all the churches of the saints (God’s people),

34 the [a]women should be silent in the churches, for they are not authorized to speak, but are to take a subordinate place, as the Law says. 35 If there is anything they want to learn [that is, if they have questions about anything being said or taught], they are to ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a [b]woman to talk in church. 36 Did the word of the Lord originate from you [Corinthians], or has it come to you only [so that you know best what God requires]?

37 If anyone thinks and claims that he is a prophet [a true spokesman for God] or spiritually astute [filled with and energized by the Holy Spirit], let him recognize that the things which I write to you are the Lord’s commandment. 38 If anyone does not recognize this [that it is a command of the Lord], he is not recognized [by God].

39 Therefore, believers, desire earnestly to prophesy [to foretell the future, to speak a new message from God to the people], and do not forbid speaking in unknown tongues. 40 But all things must be done appropriately and in an orderly manner.

(Galatians 5: 16-25 “what I say is this: Let the spirit
direct your lives, and you will not satisfy the
desires of the human nature. For what our human
nature wants is opposed to what the spirit wants,
these two are enemies, and this means that you
cannot do what you want to do. If the spirit leads
you, then you are not subject to the law.
What human nature does is quite plain. It shows
itself in immoral, filthy, and indecent actions; in
worship of idols and witchcraft. People become
enemies and they fight; they become jealous, angry, and ambitious. They separate into parties
and groups; they are envious, get drunk, have
orgies and do other things like this. I warn you as I
have before: those who do these things will not
possess the kingdom of God
But the spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and
self-control. There is no law against such things as
these. And those who belong to Christ have put to
death their human nature with all its passions and
desires. The spirit has given us life: he must also
control our lives”.

Now that you are still young it is not yet time for

you to eat the solid food, you have to drink milk. I

am sure you are wondering and asking yourself

what I am talking about. Well drinking milk has

everything to do with studying your bible and

memorising the scriptures you have read, and solid

food on the other hand is living by the scriptures

you have studied.

You know that when a baby cries He/she is

probably hungry. It is exactly like that with the

spirit. Let’s say for example you wake up at six

A.M in the morning. Before you do anything when

you get out of bed, find a nice and quiet place in

your home. Study your bible for about 30 minutes. I

advise you to focus on the New Testament. I am

going to give you some scriptures that I used to

study as I was spiritually growing. Ok number one I

highly alert you to start with the Romans in the

morning, at the afternoon Hebrews and at night

Colossians.

Reasons for choosing the above scriptures:

There are very important aspect that I have

highlighted for you.

Romans - tells us how we are put right with God,
dying to sin but living in union with Christ and life
in the spirit.

Hebrews 6:4-6 tells us the warning against
abandoning the faith. We as the flesh have this
mentality of thinking that Christ died for us on the
gross and that’s that. Satan has got us thinking
that if Christ died for us on the gross we can keep
on sinning, and repenting all the time. No that is
wrong every time you repent “verse 6 - you are
again crucifying the son of God and exposing him
to public shame”. The scripture is telling us that It
is very dangerous to repent and then go back to sin
again. This is what we normally do during the
festive seasons. When families meet and we get
involved in alcohol. We encourage ourselves by
saying that it is the time when everybody
celebrates. And that we will start afresh at the
beginning of the New Year.

Colossians – Colossians Teachers us of the
fullness of life in Christ Jesus, the old life and the
new and the personal Relations in the new life.

Do not let the spirit go hungry meaning that you
don’t try to skip your bible study. Just remember
what it feels like when you are hungry, every time
when you eat remember that he also wants some

food.

PART 2: What must I do if I want to become a born again Christian? born again Christian?

Becoming a born again Christian (a new born baby)
is very simple. You just need to say this prayer:
“God, I know that I have sinned against you and am
deserving of punishment. But Jesus Christ took the
punishment that I deserve so that through faith in
him I could be forgiven. I place my trust in you for
salvation. Thank you for your wonderful grace and
forgiveness- the gift of eternal life! At that very
moment you said Amen you have died to yourself
and are transformed into a new born baby. Or you
can go to your church and ask the pastor to pray
with you.
You have to understand that now you have
awakened the spirit that God poured in your heart.
Remember that now the Holy Spirit is your helper
he is the one that will guide and lead you
according to the purpose of God. As it is said in
(Ephesians 1:11” all things are done according to
God’s plan and decision; and God chose us to be
his own people in union with Christ because of his
own purpose”)

Now that you have been born again do not
continue to sin, sin no longer has power over you,
as it is said in (Romans 6:6-7 “And we know that
our old being has been put to death with Christ on
the gross, in order that the power of the sinful self
might be destroyed, so that we should no longer be
the slaves of sin. For when people die, they are set
free from the power of sin.
(Colossians 3:5-10 you must put to death, then, the
earthly desires at work in you, such as sexual
immorality, indecency, lust, evil passions, and
greed (for greed is a form of idolatry). Because of
such things God’s anger will come upon those who
do not obey him. At one time you yourselves used
to live according to such desires, when your life
was dominated by them.
But now you must get rid of all those things: anger,
passion, hateful feelings. No insults or obscene
talk must ever come from your lips. Do not lie to
one another, for you have taken off the old self
with its habits and have put on a new self. This is
the being which God is its creator, and is
constantly renewing in his own image, in order to
bring you to a full knowledge of himself.

A lot of people are not aware of the fact that we are all gifted. Each and everyone of us has his/her own God given gifts.

The main reason why a lot of people are not aware of this fact is because of a lack repentance and Bible study.

People are mostly focused on going to church and listening to the pastor's semon. The majority of people say that they struggle to understand the word of God if they study the word on their own . "Like for example someone will say I like the way my pastor preachers".
The job description of a pastor is to teach us how to repent. What happens next is up to the holy spirit not the pastor.

We miss the real reason of why we should study the Bible. The Bible clearly explains that no one will ever understand the word of God if he/she is not lead by the power of the holy spirit. The question is how can we be lead by the spirit of God if we don't repent?
How can we discover our God given gifts if we don't know God's will for our lives.

We think that going to church every Sunday is pleasing to God. That is absolutely wrong, you may be going to church every Sunday thinking that you are pleasing God. God wants us to repent so that we may be born again by the power of his spirit.

Listen, then, and learn what the parable of the sower means. Those who hear the message about the kingdom but do not understand it are like the seeds that fell along the path. The evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in them. The seeds that fell on rocky ground stand for those who receive the message gladly as soon as they hear it. But it does not sink deep into them, and they don't last long. So when trouble or persecution comes because of the message, they give up at once. The seeds that fell among the thorn bushes stand for those who hear the message, but the worries about this life and the love for riches choke the message, and they don't bear fruit. And the seeds sown in good soil stand for those who hear the message and understand it: they bear fruit, some as much as a hundred, others sixty, and others thirty.

The scripture above explains in verse 19

Those who don't hear the message don't have faith - Romans 10:17

"So then, faith comes by hearing the message, and the message comes through preaching Christ."

And we cannot preach Christ without his spirit. - John 15:26-27 "The helper will come - the spirit, who reveals the truth about God and who comes from the father. I will send him to you from the father. And he will speak about me. And you too, will speak about me."

The scripture above explains in verse 20-21

One thing that a lot of people miss out on is that the scripture tests you.

1 Corinthians 3:15

And the quality of each person's work will be seen when the day of Christ exposes it, for on that day fire will reveal everyone's work; the fire will test it and show it's real quality. If what was build on the foundation survives the fire, the builder will receive the reward. But if anyone's work is burned up, then he will lose it.

We claim that we want to become born again Christians but there are some arias in our lives that we don't want to let go off. You may find out that you are in the process of becoming a born again Christian, and then you read the scripture that talks about separating yourself from the world. And there you find yourself in a very tight situation where you have to stop your friendship with your old friends, because they are still living in sin. You are worried about what they will say about you to the other people.

James 1:22-25

Do not deceive yourselves by just listening to his word; instead, put it into practice. But those who look closely into the perfect law that sets people free, who keep on paying attention to it and do not simply listen and then forget it, but put it into practice - they will blessed by God In what they do.

The fruits of humility

Jesus came into the world so that he could save us from Pride. He came into the world as a human being in order to give us a clear demonstration of the trap he has set for death.

Jesus didn't come to the world to die!! No. He came to kill death. He came to kill pride by humility.

If you look at it in a spiritual way, he came to kill Satan. He came to show us how to kill death,

A lot of people think that he came to suffer for our sins so that we could live. No Jesus trapped death he came to kill Satan. If you look at it in a worldly way yes you may say he came to die for our sins. But if you look at it spiritually he came to kill Pride or death or sin or Satan. He came to give us power to kill Satan. To make us rich, to give us power to kill Satan. And this power is called humility. (humbleness)

He has told us to sit down so that we could be made great.

Matthew 19:28

Jesus‎ said to them, “Truly, I say to you, in the new world, when the Son of Man will sit on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

I know right now your thoughts are: "when will I get to heaven", "I want to be made great here on earth I want to be rich here on earth".

That right there my friend is the biggest deception Satan uses against us. "You are not going to be rich here on earth, you will only be rich when you get to heaven.

All the money on earth belongs to God. In fact God says all the money in the world belongs to my Temple. we are the Temple of God.

Money is the last thing on God's mind he says in Matthew 6:33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

The scripture says in Haggai 1:8 Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored," says the LORD.

You are lying in ruins God wants fix you, after he has foninshed fixing you then he will give you all the desires of your heart. You must first die to yourself so that you can gain everything. Isaiah 60 and 61 tells us about all the blessings he has kept for his people.

All you have to do is let the spirit take control as it is said in the scripture Psalm 110:1 The LORD says to my lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet."

The poison behind pride

Pride is the reason why the old dragon Satan has been cast out of heaven.

Satan used to be one of the most important servants of God. Our heavenly father gave him power and everything he needed.

But his pride brought him‎ down he, wanted to make himself more higher than God and thought he could sit on God's throne.

Isaiah 14:12-15

How you have fallen from heaven,
    morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth,
    you who once laid low the nations!
13 You said in your heart,
    “I will ascend to the heavens;
I will raise my throne
    above the stars of God;
I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
    on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon.‎

If you look at the scripture above his "I's" bought him down.

Pride produces rotten fruits

1) ignorance

2) disagreement

3) meaningless debate

4) envy; wishing that you had talents that some else has-Jealousy.

5) giving evil opinion based on incomplete knowledge.

Don't confuse sit

We are confused by what the word sit means. Sit means that we should let the spirit take control. We can't lift ourselves up by selfish ambitions-Pride.

Luke 14:10-11

But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, 'Friend, move up to a better place.' Then you will be honoured in the presence of all the other guests. For all those who make themselves great will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be made great.”

Remember that when you live in the Spirit you are a Child or a seed. You grow spiritually by the word of God through the Holy spirit. The word is your food. So you cannot grow without food. As you are growing In the spirit you become humble"

The phrase in Luke 14-10 - But when you are invited, take the lowest place"

(is the very reason why we came here on earth we are bought here to be made humble by the spirit of the living God.)

The phrase in Luke 14:10"so that when your host comes" he will say to you,'Friend, move up to a better place.' Then you will be honoured in the presence of all the other guests. - ( is when Jesus will come to fetch those who have humbled themselves and take them to a better place heaven. To rule with them as he has promised.)

Luke 14:11"For all those who make themselves great will be humbled" means that - (those who lift themselves up by selfish ambitions will be will be destroyed by death in the lake of fire with satan. Pride produces rotten fruits.)

Those who refuse to be humble gives a clear description that they don't want to go to heaven. God brought us here on earth because he doesn't want people like Satan in heaven.

Is everything perfect in your life right now?
Do you have money?
Are you happy?
Is your boyfriend/girlfriend not cheating on you right now?
Are you successful?

You see Satan is a deceiver he knows how play with your mind. He makes you think that your life is perfect and he is in the process of destroying you by his evil schemes.

Jesus wants you to sacrifice your problems nothing more

Jesus is a live demonstration of showing us that in order for us to live. And to know God's will for us and everything we need to know is through the word of God.

The scripture has to come true, he is the scripture Jesus is the word of God.

Why don't you ask yourself why is it so easy to believe that satan is alive and there are demons. I mean we see servants of God casting demons out of a person's life at church services. And yet it is still difficult to believe that heaven is real. Sometimes it's so hard to believe that God is more powerful than satan. And you get all worked up thinking that God is angry at you, thinking that you don't have faith in God. Don't get confused by that. These things where meant to happen. The scripture has to come true.

Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.‎. The devil is a deceiver he makes you believe that something is real when it is not. Or something is not real when it is. He has been given the power to deceive you.

The scripture says in Revelation chapter 12:12 "But how terrible for the earth and the sea! For the Devil has come down to you, and he is filled with rage. Because he knows that he has only a little time left".

So then Put on the armour of God Ephesians chapter 6

for us to live is through the word of God (Jesus Christ)
He knew before the World was greated that Satan will confuse our minds.

Never forget that your mind is the enemies bulk eye. Guard your mind at all times.

learn to walk in the spirit

If you feel like everybody hates you, don't want to be around you, or if you feel like you are insulted in any kind of way. Don't take it personally you are in the spirit of the living God. This things are happening because you don't want to let go of the flesh(human nature). I encourage you to let go of the flesh. One thing you have to understand is that it is not the person you think is fighting you or insulting, it is the spirit behind that person. there is a demonic spirit behind the person you are fighting.Learn to walk in the spirit in order to be able to see what's behind the cape. And you will see things differently.‎

You where called to be free. Jusus died on the cross in order for you to be set free from sin.

So for this to happen you have to die spiritually. And be reborn by the spirit.

You will hear a lot of people say things like. Being a born again Christian is boring or you are going to suffer. I also used to be a sinner, i used to think that I am going to suffer. Until I made a decision that I have to find out for myself. What is the real truth about born again?

Becoming a born again Christian is not something that happens overnight.

That is the most important part that people miss out on.
Its a process
The moment you accept Jesus Christ spirit(holy spirit) in your heart you spiritually become a new born baby. Born by the spirit
So this means that the holy spirit is going to guide and lead you according to God's will. By changing the way you live.
Meaning that you turn away from your sins, you die to yourself, you give up everything.you loose your life in order to possess something better, Eternal life.
So when you are still young, you are treated just like a slave.
You are not really treated like a slave. Let me put it in a way that you will understand. When the bible says that you are treated just like a slave. It means that spirit is going to teach you how to study the scriptures and then he will teach you how to live by them.

We are coming to the part where people think that born again is slavery.

And by doing that you get tested. The scriptures tests you. God will let the forces of darkness test your faith. You will face a lot of persecutions, By doing this God is testing your faith. To test if it is genuine. Faith is hearing and hearing by the word of God. Until it comes to your attention to remember what the spirit has tought you in the scripture. Let's say for example you studied the scripture that talks about pride. Where God says that he will always lift up those who are humble. And then you memorize the scripture in your heart. At that moment the spirit will come to protect you. Even if nothing happens. You have passed your test. When you pass your test you get another one and at the same time you are spiritually growing you are getting mature. By gaining the knowledge of God. Until the time set by your father in heaven. Where you will come to possess all his blessings .

Many people read the bible because they believe that the bible makes them feel free in their spirits. e.g I hear a lot of people say that the bible releafs stress. Same read the bible because it is a must. Yes all these reasons may be true. But the true biblical meaning is faith

ROMANS 10:17 then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. And by hearing the word doesn't mean that you study the word, and 5 minutes later You forgot what God has told you. No you hold on to the word and you live by it.

Sometimes when God gives you the word it means he is preparing you for the things that are to happen.

when you are to study your bible. You pray for the light, understanding of the scripture and What God wants you to do. You open your bible and as you are going through the scriptures. A thought suddenly pops up in your mind telling you to read Isaiah chapter 60 which explains the promises and the riches that God promised his people. Verse 5 the bible explains " the wealth of the nation's will be bought to you. From across the sea their riches will come"

You must listen to those words put them in your heart, write them on your four head, remember them as you are working and write them on your door step. You are going to be tested because of the scripture. The powers and the rulers of this dark world are going to tempt you. You will hear people insulting you, they will tell you that your business will never prosper, you think too high of yourself and you will never become rich. Don't listen to what they say. Because it is not them that said those words. They yielded to the suggestions of the devil . If you listen to what people say and forget what God has told you. The holy spirit will leave you, their insults will burden your heart and your faith will fail. So be careful listen to what God tells you. Faith is hearing and hearing by the word of God.

So I encourage you to read the bible everyday. Listen to the word of God as he leads and directs you according to his will. As it is said in MATTHEW chapter 13 Verse 23 "And the seeds sown in the good soil stand for those who hear the message and understand it: they bear fruit, some as much as a hundred, others sixty, and others thirty"

55 Isaiah verse 10-11 " My word is like the snow and the rain that come down from the sky to water the earth. They make the crops grow and provide seed for sowing and food to eat. So also will be the word that I speak - it will not fail to do what I plan for it; it will do everything I send it to do.

I want you to ask yourself this question "I am I a child of God?" Well the answer is in ROMANS chapter 8 verse 9 " whoever does not have the spirit of Christ does not belong to him."

If you claim that you are a Child of God but not born by the spirit .That simply means that you are still living under the Law, You are cursed and you are still a slave.

As it is said in the scripture GALATIANS Chapter 4 verse 21-26
" let me ask those of you who want to be subject to the Law: do you not hear what the Law says? It says that Abraham had two sons, one by a slave-woman, the other by a free woman. His son by the slave-woman was born in the usual way, but his son by the the free woman was born as the result of God's promise.

These things can be understood as a figure: the two women represent two covernents. The one whose children are born in slavery is hagar, and she represents the covernent made at mount Sinai . Haga, who stands for mount Sinai in Arabia, is a figure of the present city of Jerusalem, in slavery with all its people. But the heavenly Jerusalem is free, and she is our mother."

If you are not a born again Christian you are still a slave. But if you want to be free from the Law, you have to be born again by the spirit of God

What is a born again Christian?

A born again Christian is a person who dies to him/herself. You put to death your old life and become a new creation that belongs to God, meaning that you are saved from death.

Who is the holy spirit?

EPHESIANS Chapter 1 verse 14 " the spirit is the guarantee that we shall receive what God has promised his people, and this assures us that God will give complete freedom to those who are his.

The spirit is your leader, he guides and leads you according to God's ways .

The spirit is your protecter, He protects you from all dangers. That means spells of witchcraft has no power over your life, no 666 demons has power over your life, no traditional doctors has power over your life, No gods can defeat the power of the Holy Spirit.There is nothing on this earth that can defeat the power of the Holy spirit. Satan himself does not have power over you. Death has no power over you and you are free.

Have you ever wondered why you keep failing your college modules and exam tests?
You open businesses but there is no success in them. You want to own expensive cars, luxury houses You try with all your power to make your dreams come to pass and yet nothing is happening. You even go to church every Sunday , you fast and you pray three to four times a day but still nothing is happening.

Well most of the people think that they are bewitched. And yes that may also be true.

Listen to what God says In the book of HAGGAI Chapter 1 (verse 4 )" My people, why should you be living in well-build houses while my Temple lies in ruins?

(Verse 5 )Don't you see what is happening to you?

(Verse 6-)You have sown much corn, but you have harvested very little. You have food to eat, but not enough to make you full, you have wine to drink, but not enough to get drank on!, you have clothing but not enough to keep you warm. And a worker cannot earn enough to live on. (Verse 6) Can't you see why this has happened?"

"(Verse 9) You hoped for large harvests, but they turned out to be small. And when you brought the harvest home, I blew it away. Why did I did I do that? Because my Temple lies in ruins while every one of you are busy working on his own house. (Verse 10) That is why there is no rain and nothing can grow. (verse 11) I have bought drought on the land - on its hills, - on every crop the ground produces, on people and animals, on everything you try to grow."

If you look at (verse 8) it says " Now go up into the hills, get timber, and rebuild the Temple; then then I will be pleased and will be worshipped as I should be."

What is the Temple of God?
You are the Temple of God

What does God mean when he says rebuild the Temple?
That you should be born again by the power of the Holy spirit.
