1. Do Not Interfere In Others' Business Unless Asked.

Most of us create our own problems by interfering too often in others' affairs. We do so because somehow we have convinced ourselves that our way is the best way, our logic is the perfect logic and those who do not conform to our thinking must be criticized and steered to the rightÂ direction, our direction. This thinking denies the existence of individuality and consequently the existence of God.. God has created each one of us in a unique way. No two human beings can think or act inÂ exactly the same way. All men or women act the way they do because GodÂ within them prompts them that way.Â Mind your own business and you will keep your peace.

2. Forgive And Forget:

This is the most powerful aid to peace of mind. We often develop ill feelings inside our heart for the person who insults us or harms us. We nurture grievances. This in turn results in loss of sleep, developmentÂ of stomach ulcers, and high blood pressure. This insult or injury was done once, but nourishing of grievance goes on forever by constantly remembering it. Get over this bad habit.Â Life is too short to waste in such trifles. Forgive,20Forget, and march on. Love flourishes in giving and forgiving.

3. Do Not Crave For Recognition:

This world is full of selfish people. They seldom praise anybody without selfish motives. They may praise you today because you are in power, butÂ no sooner than you are powerless, they will forget your achievement and will start finding faults in you. Why do you wish to kill yourse lf in striving for their recognition? Their recognition is not worth the aggravation. Do your duties ethically and sincerely.

4. Do Not Be Jealous:

We all have experienced how jealousy can disturb our peace of mind. YouÂ know that you work harder than your colleagues in the office, but sometimes they get promotions; you do not. You started a business several years ago, but you are not as successful as your neighbor whose business is only one year old. There are several examples like these inÂ everyday life. Should you be jealous? No. Remember everybody's life is shaped by his/her destiny, which has now become his/herÂ reality. If you are destined to be rich, nothing in the world can stop you. If you are not so destined, no one can help youÂ either. Nothing will be gained by blaming others for your misfortune. Jealousy will not get you anywhere; it will only take away your peace of mind.

5. Change Yourself According To The Environment:

If you try to change the environment single-handedly, the chances are you will fail. Instead, change yourself to suit your environment. As youÂ do this, even the environment, which has been unfriendly to you, will mysteriously change and seem congenial and harmonious.

6. Endure What Cannot Be Cured:

This is the best way to turn a disadvantage into an advantage. Every day we face numerous inconveniences, ailments, irritations, and accidents that are beyond our control. If we cannot control them or change them, we must learn to put up with these things. We must learn to endure them cheerfully. Believe inÂ yourself and you will gain in terms of patience,Â inner strength and will power.

7. Do Not Bite Off More Than You Can Chew:

This maxim needs to be remembered constantly. We often tend to take more responsibilities than we are capable of carrying out.. This is done to satisfy our ego. Know your limitations. . Why take on additional loads that may create more worries? You cannot gain peace of mind by expandingÂ your external activities. Reduce your material engagements and spend time in prayer, introspection and meditation. This will reduce those thoughts in your mind that make you restless. Uncluttered mind will produce greater peace of mind.

8. Med itate Regularly:

Meditation calms the mind and gets rid of disturbing thoughts. This is the highest state of peace of mind. Try and experience it yourself. If you meditate earnestly for half an hour everyday, your mind will tend to become peaceful during the remaining twenty-three and half-hours. Your mind will not be easily disturbed as it was before. You would benefit by gradually increasing the period of daily meditation. You may think that this will interfere with your daily work. On the contrary, this will increase your efficiency and you will be able to produce better results in less time.

9. Never Leave The Mind Vacant:

An empty mind is the devil's workshop. All evil actions start in the vacant mind. Keep your mind occupied in something positive, somethingÂ worthwhile. Actively follow a hobby. Do something that holds your interest. You must decide what you value more: money or peace of mind. Your hobby, like social work orÂ religious work, may not always earn you more money, but you will have a sense of fulfillment and achievement. Even when you are resting physically, occupy yourself in healthy reading or mental chanting of God's name.

10. Do Not Procrastinate And Never Regret:

Do not waste time in protracted wondering " Should I or shouldn't I?" Days, weeks, months, and years may be wasted in that futile mental debating. You can never plan enough because you can never anticipate allÂ future happenings.Â Value your time and do the things that need to be done. It does not matter if you fail the first time. You can learn from your mistakes and succeed the next time. Sitting back and worrying will lead to nothing. Learn from your mistakes, but do not brood over the past. DO NOT REGRET. Whatever happened was desti ned to happen only that way.Â Why cry over spilt milk?

You know that coming from a small province our people did not climb the above positions thru back door, it is thru sheer competition!! You will find Keralite farm workers, artisans, technicians, manual laborers, illiterates and semi-literates all migrating to all parts of the Globe. When they start most of them only know their mother tongue. Thru hard work, drive, enthusiasm, tenacity, persistence, Humor sense they learn the trades and also, Hindi, English, Arabic and many other languages necessary to sustain them. True that none of them speak Queens English, but most of the world do not do so as well. The great Chinese Population, majority of the French, German, Arabic, East European and even good percentage of UK population do not speak English or speak only a version of it. ?? Nor the vast majority of Indians can speak Hindi, our National language?
You can hate a race/tribe if they are dishonest, lazy, untrustworthy, uneducated etc... We definitely do not belong to any of these categories?? So why you hate us?? Reason is simple, professional jealousy!!! Keralites Mother Tongue is MALAYALAM (You can spell it from right to left & left to right)
(Malayalam is second language in UAE)
In your city, you have seen Keralites as narial Pani Wallahs, manual labors and shop assistants only. When you come to Dubai you are amazed at their success, influence and the sheer majority irritates you, you cannot take it that those who cannot speak Queens English have become so successful?? You do speak English but your writing and spelling are a horror story!! So dear Friend, we do not apologies for our success, whether you like us or not, we are full of sympathies for you because your fishermen, laborers, artisans do not dare to come out of their villages, because they are illiterates, our men are not, they dare to come out and challenge themselves, become successful.

The Pepper was traded by the Arab Traders from Kochin to the Malabar Coast and other parts of the world...

The Pepper from Malabar is now one of the most known varieties in the world.

Since Pepper have a high demand in the market it is very costly to others....

We can see pepper in Kerala in almost all the trees in the land near to Houses... This is exported to other countries in the form of powders and liquid essence..

Kochi, placed at the southwest of India, also known as the Queen of Arabian Sea. This is the virtual capital of Kerala. The latest Developments are the Smart City and the Info park in Kakkanad.

The places to see here are Fort Kochi, Mattanchery the royal Marine Drive at Menaka, Bolghatty Palace and the St Francis church. This church was build by the Portuguese when they came first to India.

Kochi is one of the Fastest growing city in India. It has a shipping Port, International Airport and railway. The only thing you will notice in the roads are the busy traffic which cannot be controlled now. This is geographically a small city but with population its a metro city.

You are viewing the Thevara bridge(Photo taken from SH College Thevara) which was created by the British when they ruled India. Any way still this bridge is stronger than the bridges those were build by the Keralites in the state.

In the right side of the bridge is the Cochin Port; one of the most busiest ports in India. It has lots of projects that they are only taking new projects after 2010.

In the left side of the Bridge is the Kochin Naval Base. The Indian Navy is playing a major role in the development of Kochi. Since all these are parts of Kochi it's growing enormously fast....

I love nature a lot. Do you know why??? Because we will get our lost happiness while seeing the beauty of the nature...

Can you say which is the most beautiful place in the world to live????

No doubt!! you can say it's Kerala...

Why because, it is so beautiful and the climate here can be one of the most enjoyable in the world. This is not my Opinion... its everyones opinion who have stayed in Kerala. Everyone who goes outstation says one who is in kerala is the most enjoying one..

So how can't we say that Kerala is "God's Own Country".
