Kerala Public Service Commission informed that latest last grade servants notification will come soon. This new notification will call for on the basis of new qualification. All seventh standard passed candidates can apply for this LGS exam. Degree holders can not apply for this exam.

Last Grade Examination 2017 - Details: Read :- Last Grade Servant 2017 Last date June 14

Age bar - 18-36 years. Reserved candidates will get relaxation.

Qualification - Pass in standard 7. Candidate should not be a graduate.

Salary scale - 16500 - 37500 Rs.

Syllabus - Facts about India and Kerala, Kerala renaissance, Science, Current affairs, English, Quantitative aptitude and Mental ability.

As per new decision of KPSC, Malayalam may be a part of LGS exam question paper.

Examination date and time - PSC informed that last grade tests will start in the first of 2018. The present last grade rank list will expire on 2018 June 29. The latest LGS list will come on next day. PSC will notify for new LGS exam after the LDC examinations those starts from 2017 May. Exam time will 1.15 hours (from 2.00 PM to 3.15 PM).

In this time, number of LGS applications will decrease because graduates can't apply for this test. In previous time, there were 13 lakhs applications for last grade exam. This time it may decrease up to 8 lakhs.

Kerala Public Service Commission doing one time verification process for listed candidates in the probability lists. If you complete this once, your qualifications would registered and verified in PSC. The candidates should consider the following points before PSC's one time verification process.

How To Do KPSC One Time Verification?

PSC applicants should enter their educational qualification details and special rights (physical disability, sports, work experience, age relaxation, reservation, ex-service men, NCC etc..) in the time of sending application itself.
It is punishable to do more than one registration.
Enter your name, date of birth and name of parents as in S.S.L.C book. Upload S.S.L.C/10th class certificate for the proof of date of birth. If you have not the S.S.L.C book, you can upload school admission register extract/transfer certificate.
Ex-service men can submit their discharge certificate as the proof of date of birth.
Take care to upload enough sized signature to the PSC site.
The uploading photograph should be as per PSC's demands.
The ID proof for permanent address or permanent communication should upload and original should submit. If this address is different from that of voter's ID or other ID cards, you must submit the one and same certificate from village office.
The images of uploading certificates should be clear. They should include seal, sign of authority and certificate number clearly.
You should enter accurate fractional percentage of your academic mark. For example, if you got 599 marks out of 1000, you must enter 59.9%. Don't round off the percentage.
OBC candidates should upload non-creamy layer certificate. This should contain the name, post and sign of the officer who issued it and the office seal.
This non creamy layer certificate has validity of only one year. For renewing it you must upload a new one; enter new number, date and other details in non creamy layer certificate field of general certificate link.
Manual community certificate should be in the particular form that given in KPSC website.
The date on which the candidate attains the particular qualification must be same with that on the certificate. Date of examination will not consider.
If there is no way to calculate the percentage with the consolidated certificate, you must upload the percentage conversion table.
If you qualified from the university in other states, an equivalent certificate is needed.
PSC demands a qualification that achieved through a regular course, transfer certificate or course certificate from the institution with qualification certificates.

Kerala PSC application process needs one time registration, that is valid from 1-1-2012 in public service commission's official website www.keralapsc.gov.in. Below you can get some important instructions for uploading your photo for one time registration.

Step By step Instructions To Upload Photograph in www.keralapsc.gov.in:

The photograph must have applicant,s name and the date on which the photo had taken.
The photograph should be taken within one year. This uploading photo will have 10 year validity.
It is essential to upload a passport size colour/ black and white photograph in which the candidate's face and shoulder must be clear.

If one resigned from the first department and working in new post, he can send the LDC application. After the successful completion of the registration through the PSC website the candidates would get a user ID and pass word. We can make our own password and User ID. Though KPSC had started this one time registration programme before 2 years many candidates have large number of doubts about the procedure of one time registration. Here you can find out the proper answers to the common doubts related to the one time registration f the KPSC.

How to find out the lost password

If our password to enter into the one time registration profile had lost you can find it out by messaging a SMS in particular format to the PSC number. This mobile number from which you sending that SMS should be same to the number you had entered while the registration process. If you have no this number now you should contact directly to the nearest PSC office to get the password. You have no right to register again in the PSC site.

How to enter name and date on the uploaded photograph

The candidates should enter their name and date on the photo which uploads to the PSC site while the one time registration process. You can type the name and date on the photo with the help of a digital photographer or computer expert.

If your photo has no date and name or either of them you cannot print the hall ticket with the photograph which include the date and name. If the hall ticket contain this type of photo a candidate cannot attend a PSC test. If you had uploaded a photo without the name or date you should do it fast before you apply for any exam of KPSC.

How to edit the one time registration profile

If any candidates have to correct anything in his profile, he can do it easily. After entering to the one time registration link through the KPSC Thulasi site you can see a button 'edit'. Click on that and enter the correct information in the proper place and save.

Why PSC rejects a photo with the name

Kerala PSC would reject a person's application without a proper reason. If PSC rejects an application even it include the photo with the name and date there will be a reason. If the hall ticket has a photo without name or date the candidate's application will reject by PSC and he cannot attend the test. Even though he attended the exam, during certificate verification the authority will recognize this mistake and that candidate will not get a place in the short list. So the candidates should take a print out of the details which he entered in the profile including the uploaded photo during the one time registration process. It is the only evidence you can show as a proof for the photo with the name and date.

How to edit the educational qualification

In the one time registration profile one can edit his qualification details when he acquires a new one. After entering into the profile by typing the User ID and the password you can see your profile on the screen. Click on the 'edit' button to add new qualifications. If you face any difficulty with this, you can do this by submitting suitable certificates in the nearby PSC office. They will help you to edit the educational qualification.

Kerala PSC Written/Practical Test and Interview Details:

Difference Between Kerala PSC Rank List, Probability List, Short List and Supplementary List:

Probability list is the list of candidates who scored a mark above the cut off mark which is decide by PSC (after adding grace mark also) for making rank list.

Short list will prepare for conducting interview.

Rank list will publish after the interview for short listed candidates or after the certificate verification of the candidates in the probability list. Rank lists will get duration of 3 years. It may be extend to 4 and 1/2 years by the request of government.

Supplementary list will prepare by including reserved candidates who got particular mark in the exam. The number of candidates in this list will be proportional to the number of main list candidates.

Kerala PSC Rotation Chart for Appointment:

Rotation chart reveals an order for the appointment of general candidates and reserved candidates from each category (like SC, ST, Ezhava, OBC, Muslim, LC, AI....). The 50% of the vacancies is for general candidates and other 50% is for reserved candidates. The appointment is as per the rotation chart. There is separate rotation charts for last grade rank list and other lists.

Public Service Commission of Kerala decided to publish the notification of Lower Division Typist (LD Typist) by setting the qualification into SSLC. This is a modified KPSC notification by avoiding the demand of plus two pass for LD Typist. The circular which demands the LD typist qualification as plus 2 had frozen by Kerala government. On the basis of that action, PSC took this new decision. The previous notification for LD typist exam published on September 10, 2014. KPSC informed that Last Grade rank lists will publish on 2015 June 29. PSC will publish 14 districts' rank lists on that day. The existing LGS ranked lists will cancel on the same day. KPSC provides weight age marks to NCC cadets as follows in Uniform posts like Kerala Police, Excise, Jailor, Forest, Fire and Rescue Services...

Kerala PSC decided to include 1000 people in the assistant motor vehicle inspector rank list. The main list will have 400 candidates and the remaining 600 will be in the supplementary list. Fireman Advice Memo: Last Certificate Verification On Feb 18, 2015

KPSC will recognize fireman rank list within February 20, 2015. Commission suggested starting

the advising in this month. The one time verification process for 43 ranked candidates will be conduct on February 18. The advice will get only to the candidates who will submit their certificate on time.

There are 1200 fireman vacancies reported to PSC. Among them, 259 are NJD vacancies. PSC is preparing advice memos to these vacancies, at Kollam regional office.

The candidates are in high tension due to the lack of reporting of complete vacancies and the delay of appointment. PSC also expects many NJD vacancies from first stage of advice. These vacancies should be report by the department for getting job for all the ranked candidates in the list.

The fireman new notification will publish by PSC in June 2015. Its new rank list will publish in 2016 June. There is a complaint about the size of present fireman rank list. It is a list of 2000 candidates for 1200 vacancies. It was published on December 30, 2014. The main list contains 1478 people. Supplementary list has 576 candidates.

KSRTC Blacksmith Rank List Completed 3 1/2 Month: Appointment Delays

KPSC did not start the appointment process of KSRTC blacksmith. The rank list published before 3 1/2 months. There 500 vacancies of blacksmith in KSRTC. At the time of KSRTC blacksmith notification in 2009, there were 350 vacancies of this post. The appointment delays due to the disapproval of final rank list. KPSC decided to start the appointment from this ranked list soon after the verification of experience certificate of the listed candidates.

Majority of the candidates in rank list of blacksmith have experience in KSRTC. In the preliminary verification, PSC had found that some candidates were submitted duplicate experience certificate. If this would be proving
by authority, those candidates will reject from the list and it will modify.

The KSRTC blacksmith main list contains 480 candidates. The supplementary list consists of 3 persons. KPSC hopes that the advice can start in 2015 March.

KPSC decided to permit the candidates to upload their photograph in one time registration profile within 10 years. This new order from PSC will publish within days. Kerala PSC realized the difficulty to upload the photo annually. Due to this process, the candidates face delay of KPSC official website. Many people keep a false idea that one can win the Kerala PSC exams by reading any PSC rank file just before the exam. But it is foolishness.

2) Reach on Time in PSC Exam Hall:

KPSC is very strict about the time. All the candidates should be present in the examination hall, half an hour before the exam starting time. Commonly the morning session tests will start at 8.00 am and that of afternoon session at 2.00 pm. The late comers will not permit to attend the test.

3) KPSC Negative Marking System:

The candidates have to be aware about the negative marking system of KPSC Exams. This is applicable for all the KPSC OMR tests. If you bubble a wrong answer, it will cause the loss of mark for right answer also. The minus mark will be 1/3. You will lose 3+1 marks (4 marks) for 3 wrong answers. So don't try to guess the unknown answers and save yourself from the negative mark.

4) KPSC will avoid the Invalid Answer sheets:

If there is any problem with your bubbling of the register number, date of birth, date of exam, tearing of answer sheet across the barcode..., your answer sheet will make invalid by the PSC. Even you got 100/100 marks, you will not get a chance to enter into the rank list.

Tips to avoid the invalid answers:

Bubble and write the register number.
Put signature near to your name in the address sheet that would given by the invigilator in the exam hall.
Tear the 2 parts (A and B parts) of the answer sheet with care. At the centre of these two parts, there is a barcode. Don't write, label, or draw anything on the barcode with pen.

5) Right to Complaint Against the KPSC Answer KEY:

Kerala PSC will publish the answer key of each test within some days after the exam in PSC website. Candidates can check their answers with this and if there are any wrong answers in the answer key, they have the right to send a complaint to the Comptroller of the Examination in a particular format. This format is available in PSC website. The final answer key will publish by PSC only after these complaints.

6) Kerala PSC Interview Details:

Kerala PSC conducts the interview for certain posts besides the written test. The interview board would consist of two PSC members and subject experts. The chairman of the board will be the senior PSC member. The mark for interview will be 20% of the written test score. Usually the marks for written test and interview of KPSC are 100 and 20 respectively.

The minimum mark to pass the interview is 4. All the interviewed candidates who got 4 and above marks will include in the rank list on the basis of the aggregate mark.

KPSC Started Staff Nurse Certificate Verification: Tips for Candidates

Kerala PSC started the one time registration certificate verification of staff nurse grade 2 (Category No: 68/2013) on 2014 December 26. The verification process is conduct at the PSC district offices. It will end on January 5, 2015.

The important things to remember before the certificate verification:

Upload the scanned copies) (in jpeg format of the original certificates to the one time registration profile of the candidate.
The candidate will not get any other chance to upload or correct any mistake while uploading.
The application of the absent candidate will reject by KPSC. The information about that will not send through the postal service.
The uploading certificates should show that the candidate had attained the qualification before the notification date or before the last date for application.
The candidates have to upload the scanned copies (JPEG format) of the following certificates.

SSLC certificate
Mark list and certificate of Plus Two/Pre degree/VHSE.
Mark list of B.Sc Nursing Last year/last semester
Original certificate and provisional certificate of B.Sc Nursing from the University

If there is any difference in the name or address in the application and uploaded certificate the candidates have to produce the one and same certificate and also upload the scanned copy of that to profile.

Sub Inspector (SI) short list includes 647 Women Candidates:

The Si short list (civil police cadre) includes 647 women candidates. PSC had included 1003 candidates in the main list and 881 candidates in the supplementary list; that is totally 1884 rank holders. Among them 647 are females. The number of the males is 1237.

SI Physical Test for the Female candidates:

Kerala PSC decided to hold the SI physical test for the short listed female candidates. The details will send through SMS to the registered mobile phones of them. The test will conduct on December 30 and 31 in Ernakulam, Trivandrum , Kollam and Kozhikode.

Secretariat Last Grade: Suggestion Rejected by PSC.

The request of Kerala Government to form the secretariat last grade post was rejected by KPSC. Government also had required fixing a high salary and status for the secretariat last grade post. According to Kerala PSC, the permission to start the special post in the secretariat at last grade level will be a partiality to some people. So PSC decide to reject that request.

Fingerprint Assistant Rank List: Main List Includes 100 Candidates:

Kerala Public Service Commission informed that the fingerprint assistant in Police Department (Fingerprint Bureau) rank list will contain 100 candidates in the main list. There will be a supplementary list also with a proportional number of candidates.

Kerala PSC published the HSST Chemistry (Higher Secondary Education) rank list on 23- 12- 2014. The main list contains 647 candidates and there is supplementary list also.

Higher Secondary Lab Assistant: Order from Kerala State Government

Kerala Government ordered to declare the probation of 3000 HSE lab assistants and to give increment for them. They were in a great problem due to the delay of PSC exam for that post. According to this new order, the lab assistants who were appointed through direct recruitment and by transfer from 2003 March 28 will get consideration in lab attender test.

The lab assistants in the aided schools achieved the right for increment and they could complete the probation period with the help of court order. The court ordered that due to the lag of PSC to hold the test. But government school lab assistants did not get the positive reply. They were waiting for an order from the authority.

There is a rule that the lab attender's test should conduct annually. But PSC had not conducted that test after 2010. In between 1995 and 2010, there were only 2 test had been conducted. It leads to the incomplete probation of the Higher secondary school lab assistants and they did not get any increment in their service.

By this new government order those 3000 lad assistants in the government plus two schools got a positive energy and they can enjoy the full benefits of their job.
