കേരളത്തില്‍ നിയമന നിരോധനം ആണോ ? പെന്‍ഷന്‍ പ്രായം കൂട്ടിയാല്‍ എന്ത് സംഭവിക്കും ? ഇപ്പോള്‍ റാങ്ക് ലിസ്റ്റില്‍ ഉള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് നിയമനം ഉടനെയുണ്ടോ ? ഇങ്ങനെ കുറെ ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ ഈ നാട്ടിലെ എന്നെപോലെയുള്ള ജോലി അനെഷിക്കുന ചെറുപ്പക്കാരുടെ സാധാരണ ചോദ്യങ്ങളാണ്. അല്ലാതെ എല്‍ ഡി എഫ് , യു ഡി എഫ് പ്രശ്നങ്ങളും, ജോര്‍ജ്, ഗണേഷ് പ്രശ്നങ്ങളും, അച്യുതാനന്ദന്‍, പിണറായി പ്രശ്നങ്ങളും ആയി നടന്നാല്‍ നമ്മുക്ക് യാതൊരു പ്രയോജനവും

ഇല്ല.

കേരളത്തില്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ നിയമങ്ങള്‍ നടക്കുന്നില്ല. നിയമനങ്ങള്‍ പി എസ്‌ സിക്ക് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്‌ ചെയ്യപെടുന്നില്ല. എന്ത് കൊണ്ടാണ് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു നയം പിന്തുടരുന്നത്. അതുപോലെ പെന്‍ഷന്‍ പ്രായം ഒരു വര്‍ഷം കൂട്ടിയപ്പോഴേ ധാരാളം തൊഴിലവസരങ്ങള്‍ നഷ്ടപെട്ടു. സൂപ്പര്‍ നുമിരട്ടറി തസ്തികകള്‍ പാഴ്വാക്ക് മാത്രമായി പോയി. ഇത്രയധികം ആളുകളെ എങ്ങനെ സര്‍ക്കാരിനു മണ്ടന്മാര്‍ ആക്കാന്‍ സാധിച്ചു! പെന്‍ഷന്‍ പ്രായം കൂട്ടണമെങ്കില്‍ അത് ഒറ്റയടിക്ക് 2 - 3 വര്‍ഷം കൂട്ടുകയല്ല വേണ്ടത്. ഒരു 3 വര്‍ഷം ഇടവേളയില്‍ 1 വര്‍ഷം വച്ച് കൂടുകയാവാം. എങ്കില്‍ ഈ ദ്രോഹത്തിന് ഇത്തിരി ആശ്വാസം ആയേനെ! മറ്റുള്ള സംസ്ഥാങ്ങളിലെ പെന്‍ഷന്‍ പ്രായം താരതമ്യം ചെയ്യുന്നവര്‍ അവിടുത്തെ അവസ്ഥയാണോ(തോഴിളിലായ്മ) ഇവിടെ എന്നുള്ളത് കൂടി നോക്കുക. അതുപോലെ അവിടെ എന്നാണ്, എങ്ങനെയാണു പെന്‍ഷന്‍ പ്രായം കൂട്ടിയതെന്നും മനസിലാക്കുക.

ലിസ്റ്റുകള്‍ നീട്ടിയും, നിയമന നിരോധനം നടത്തിയും ദയവു ചെയ്തു ആരുടെയും സാധ്യത നശിപ്പികരുത്. ഒരു ജോലി നേടാന്‍ വേണ്ടി വളരെയധികം കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടാണ് റാങ്ക് ലിസ്റ്റില്‍ എത്തുന്നത്‌. വളരെ നാളുകള്‍ അകാടെമിക് പഠനവും അതിനു ശേഷം PSC പഠനവും കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടാണ് റാങ്ക് ലിസ്റ്റില്‍ എത്തുന്നത്‌. അവരുടെ ആരുടെയും പ്രതീക്ഷകള്‍ നശിപ്പികരുത്. ഓരോ ആളുകളുടെയും പ്രശ്നം മാത്രമല്ല ഇത്. അവരെ പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചു ഒരു കുടംബമുണ്ട്, സമൂഹമുണ്ട്‌. അത് കൊണ്ട് ഒരാളുടെ വോട്ട് നഷ്ടപെട്ടാല്‍ തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അത് ആ കുടുംബത്തിലെയും, സമൂഹത്തിന്റെയും വോട്ട് നഷ്ടപ്പെടല്‍ ആണെന് മനസിലാക്കുക. ഇത് എല്ലാവരുടെയും പ്രശ്നമായി കാണണം. ഇതില്‍ രാഷ്ട്രിയം മറക്കുക, സമുദായം മറക്കുക. നമ്മുക്ക് പ്രയോജനമില്ലാത്ത കാര്യങ്ങളും, വാര്‍ത്തകള്‍ക്കും പുറകെ പോകാതെ ഈ ഒരു കാര്യത്തിനായി എല്ലാവരും ഒരുമിക്കുക. വിജയിക്കാന്‍ സാധിക്കും . വിളപ്പില്‍ ശാലയിലെ വിജയം ഒരു കൂട്ടായ്മ ആണ്.

എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായം ഇവിടെ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയെങ്കിലും ഞാന്‍ ഒരു റാങ്ക് ലിസ്റ്റിലും ഇല്ല. PSC പഠനം തുടങ്ങിയതേയുള്ളൂ. പക്ഷെ കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട് പഠിച്ചു റാങ്ക് ലിസ്റ്റില്‍ എത്തി പ്രതീക്ഷയോടെ നില്കുക്കുന്ന കുറെ ആളുകളെ ഞാന്‍ കണ്ടു. അവരുടെ വേദന ഞാന്‍ ഇവിടെ എഴുതി. കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്‌ മണ്ഡലം വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ്‌ പദവി വരെ എത്തിയതാണ് ഞാന്‍. ഇപ്പോള്‍ പദവികളില്‍ ഇല്ല, അംഗമാണ്. പക്ഷെ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഈ നിലപാട് തുടര്‍ന്നാല്‍ തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞാന്‍ അംഗത്വം രാജി വയ്ക്കും. എന്റെ മാത്രമല്ല എന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിന്റെയും വോട്ട് നഷ്ടപ്പെടും. ഇതു പോലെ തീരുമാനമെടുക്കുന പലരുടെയും.....

P N Panicker is known as the Father of the Library Movement in Kerala. He died on 19 June 1995, at the age of 86. The Government of Kerala observes 19 June annually as Vayanadinam (Day of Reading) with a week-long series of activities at schools and public institutions to honour the contributions of P.N. Panicker to the cause of literacy, education and library movement.

World Blood Donor Day: 14 June

World Blood Donor Day is day dedicated to "thanking and celebrating voluntary non-remunerated blood donors". It occurs on June 14, the birthday of Karl Landsteiner, the creator of the ABO blood group system, for which he won the Nobel Prize. The first day was held in 2005.

The theme of 2012 world blood donor day campaign-"every blood donor is a hero" focuses on the idea that every one of us can become a hero by giving blood.

One of the main goals of the World Blood Donor Day is to ensure the availability of 'safe blood' for transfusion.

പരിസ്ഥിതി പ്രശ്നങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള അവബോധം വരുത്താനും കർമ്മ പരിപാടികൾ ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്യാനുമാണ് പരിസ്ഥിതി ദിനം ആചരിക്കുന്നത്. ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്രസഭ ജെനറൽ അസംബ്ലിയാണ് 1972 മുതൽ ഈ ദിനാചരണം ആരംഭിച്ചത്.

കോട്ടയത്തെ റയില്‍വേ സ്‌റ്റേഷനില്‍ നിന്നെടുത്ത ഒരു ട്രയിന്‍ ടിക്കറ്റുകൊണ്ട് ശ്രീലങ്കയിലെ കൊളംബോ വരെ പോകാമായിരുന്ന ഒരു കാലമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. 1964 വരെ. അത്ഭുതപ്പെടേണ്ട. അതായിരുന്നു ഇന്ത്യ- സിലോണ്‍ റെയില്‍പാത. ധനുഷ്‌കോടിവരെ ചെന്നെത്തുന്ന ഈ പാതയിലൂടെ യാത്രചെയ്തിരുന്ന ട്രിനാണ് 'ബോട്ട്‌മെയില്‍'.
പണ്ടത്തെ മദ്രാസ് എഗമൂറില്‍ നിന്നും പുറപ്പെടുന്ന ബോട്ട്‌മെയില്‍ കോയമ്പത്തൂര്‍, മധുര, രാമേശ്വരം വഴി ധനുഷ്‌കോടിയിലെത്തുന്നു. അവിടെ ഈ ട്രയിനിനെ കാത്ത് ശ്രീലങ്കയുടെ ജങ്കാര്‍ കിടക്കുന്നുണ്ടാകും- ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്കു വരുന്ന യാത്രക്കാരെയും കൊണ്ട്. ട്രയിനില്‍ വരുന്ന ലങ്കയിലേക്കുള്ള യാത്രികരെയും കൊണ്ട് ജങ്കാര്‍ ശ്രീലങ്കയിലേക്കു തിരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ അവിടുന്നുള്ളവരെയും വഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ബോട്ട്‌മെയില്‍ തിരികെ പോരുന്നു.
കോട്ടയം, കൊല്ലം ഭാഗങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും ഒത്തിരി ജനങ്ങള്‍ ശ്രീലങ്കയിലെ തേയില തോട്ടങ്ങളിലേക്കും റബ്ബര്‍ തോട്ടങ്ങിലേക്കും ജോലിക്കു പോയിരുന്നു. കൊല്ലത്തു നിന്നോ കോട്ടയത്തു നിന്നോ ടിക്കറ്റെടുത്താല്‍ കണക്ഷന്‍ ട്രയിന്‍വഴി കോയമ്പത്തൂരോ മധുരയിലോ ഇറങ്ങി ബോട്ട്‌മെയില്‍ വഴി കൊളംബോ വരെ പോകുവാനുള്ള സൗകര്യമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. (പഴയ കൊല്ലം ചെങ്കോട്ട മീറ്റര്‍ഗേജ് പാതയാണ് ഇതിനുവേണ്ടി കൂടുതലും ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നത്)
1962 ഡിസംബര്‍ 22 ന് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ മഹാസമുദ്രത്തില്‍ വീശിയടിച്ച ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റ് ഒന്നാകെ തകര്‍ത്തുകളഞ്ഞത് ഈ ഇന്ത്യ- ശ്രീലങ്ക സഞ്ചാര ബന്ധത്തെയായിരുന്നു. വിനോദ സഞ്ചാരത്തിനുപോയ ഇരുന്നൂറോളം വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളുള്‍പ്പെടെ ബോട്ട്‌മെയിലിനെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റ് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ മഹാസമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ അടിത്തട്ടിലേക്കു വലിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോയി. ആരും രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടില്ല. വലിഴയൊരു പട്ടണമായി ഉയര്‍ന്നു വന്നുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ധനുഷ്‌കോടി തകര്‍ന്ന് നാമാവശേഷമായി. പാമ്പന്‍പാലവും തകര്‍ന്നു.
മലയാളിയായ ഇ ശ്രീധരന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ പുതുക്കിപണിത പാമ്പന്‍പാലത്തിലൂടെ ഇപ്പോള്‍ രാമേശ്വരം വരെയെ ട്രയിനുള്ളു. ധനുഷ്‌കോടി തകര്‍ന്ന കെട്ടിടങ്ങളുമായി 'പ്രേതനഗര'മെന്ന പേരില്‍ ഇന്നും ജീവിക്കുന്നു

Viswanathan Anand defeats Boris Gelfand to win a fourth consecutive World Chess Championship.

World Chess champion Viswanathan Anand, who defeated Boris Gelfand in a tie-breaker to retain his title on Wednesday,and $1.53 million going to the winner. Anand, who won the four game series 2.5-1.5 (1 win and 3 draws), will keep the FIDE(World Chess Federation) world title he has held since 2007(4 times) for another two years.

Anand was born on 11 December 1969 in Mayiladuthurai, a small town in Tamil Nadu. Anand has won the World Chess Championship five times (2000, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012)

Haneke's 'Amour' wins top prize at Cannes

Michael Haneke on Sunday won the Cannes Film Festival’s top prize for a second time with his film about love and death, Amour.

The festival jury awarded the second-place Grand Prize to Matteo Garrone’s Italian satire Reality and Ken Loach’s whiskey-tasting comedy The Angels’ Share won the third-place Jury Prize.

 59th National Film Awards 2011: Best Actor award goes to Girish Kulkarni for film
Deool (Marathi) and Best Actress to Vidya Balan for The Dirty Picture (Hindi).

 Dada Saheb Phalke Award: Soumitra Chatterhee (Veteran Bengali actor for his
lifetime contribution to Cinema)

 Chameli Devi Jain Award (Media):Tusha Mittal of Tehelka‟s Kolkatta News
bureau bagged the award as the Outstanding Woman Media person for her reportage
of life in deep interiors of Orrisa and Chattisgarh affected by civil strife and
Naxalism.

 IPI(International Press Institute Award) India Award: For excellence in Journalism for
the year 2010 was presented to Tehelka and The Week jointly in December last year.

 Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award 2011: Prof. Yash Pal. He is a noted scientist and
educator. He received this award for his excellence in Public Administration,
academics and Management.

 Miss India 2011: Vasuki Sunkavalli (26 year old, Hyderabadi Girl)

 Mahatama Gandhi Award For Peace and Reconciliation: Dalai Lama

 Venkataraman Ramakrishnan who won the Nobel prize for Chemistry, 2009 was

 Man Booker Prize: Julian Barnes for his novel „The Sense of an ending‟. The award
promotes the finest in fiction and was first awarded in 1969.

 Miss World 2011: Miss Venezuela Ivian Sarcoss

 PEN/ Pinter International Writer of Courage Award 2011: Italian
writer, Roberto Saviano, whose work exposed the organised crime of the Neopolitan
mafia will share the award with Sir David Hare . He was under hiding when the
book was written.

 Ramon Magasaysay Award, 2011: This year there are two Indians who bagged the
award; Nileema Mishra and Harish Hande, who worked for the empowerment of
Indian People. Dr.hande was recognised for bringing solar lights to people who have
no power. Ms. Mishra worked for the poor in Maharashtra by lending them money and addressing their aspirations and adversities. Another Indians who have won the
award include Acharya Vinobha Bhave, Jayaprakash Narayan and Mother Teresa.
The award is named after famous Philipine President and is governed by the
Rockfeller Foundation.

 World Food Prize: The World Food Prize Foundation is honoring John Agyekum
Kufuor former president of Ghana, and Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, former president of
Brazil, for creating and implementing government policies that alleviated hunger and
poverty in their countries. The World Food Prize was created in 1987 by Nobel Peace
Prize winner Dr. Norman Borlaug, to recognize individuals who have contributed
landmark achievements in increasing the quality, quantity or availability of food in
the world.

 Guardian First Book Award: Siddhartha Mukherjee (India born - American
physician) for his extraordinary biography of cancer, The Emperor of All Maladies.
(has already won him a Pulitzer prize in his native US)

 Pritzker Architecture Prize: “To honor a living architect whose built work
demonstrates a combination of those qualities of talent, vision, and commitment,
which has produced consistent and significant contributions to humanity and the built
environment through the art of architecture.” The international prize, is awarded each
year to a living architect for significant achievement, was established by the Pritzker
family of Chicago through their Hyatt Foundation in 1979. The award consists of
$100,000 (US) and a bronze medallion. The award is conferred on the laureate at a
ceremony held at an architecturally significant site throughout the world. For the year
2012, the prize has been conferred on Wang Shu for recycling materials from
demolished buildings to create a sustainable design for exciting buildings.

 The Golden Bear Awards: Italian documentary Caesar Must
Die (Cesaredevemorire), showing inmates of a high-security prison staging
Shakespeare's “Julius Caesar”, was awarded the Berlin film festival's top award.
Directors Paolo Taviani and Vittorio Taviani received the Golden Bear award.

 Golden Peacock Award: The 42nd
International Filmfare Festival of India was held
at Panaji, Goa. The Columbian movie Porfirio directed by Alejandro Landes won the
Golden Peacock Award.

 Noble prize Winners:http://www.nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/peace/laureates/2011/# Davis Cup of Tennis: Rafael Nadal secured the victory for Spain. It is Spain‟s 5th
time to to reach Davis Cup Finals and Nadal‟s 20th
victory. He defeated Argentina‟s

Golden Globe awards honouring the best film and
Television for 2011 were held in Beverly Hills( California).
