Kristin and I had a wonderful time in Portland a couple of weekends ago, visiting with a bunch of friends and family. The weather was amazing, which we were told was not the norm - so we made sure to take advantage of every moment.

The highlight for me might have been visiting the Oregon coast to see what I prefer to think of as where the Goonies grew up. The same rocks from the movie are there and I couldn’t help put shout out “Baby ruth” in my best Sloth voice. “Babyyy…Ruuuuth?!”

We enjoyed wine tasting at the various vineyards in the area - especially Lemelson Vineyards.

My new Nikon D90 came in the mail yesterday. I finally got to take some shots this morning, playing around with the RAW format for the first time. Super cool. This is a picture of Murphy lounging in the morning sun.

I can’t wait to get back into photography - it’s been too long.

Here’s a sped of version of me adding one more element to an illustration for a client. One thing that’s interesting here is quickly creating different faces for a fake screenshot by building off of one “source face.”
