I know a lot of you who read my blog are serious about growing your business. And I know there are a LOT of people sharing strategies to &#8216;do this&#8217; and &#8216;do that&#8217; and your money worries will be over! THIS is the answer.<br />
I rarely weigh in on any of the noise in the marketplace but several comments from you who read this blog and follow my somewhat unorthodox principles have led me to choose to share with you guys at a MUCH more intimate level. To help you break through to whatever your next level is!<br />
Here&#8217;s the deal. While many other info-sharers have gone from idea to idea, product to product, reinvention to reinvention, new discovery to new-new discovery, I have taught the same boring, repetitive concepts to new clients since 2006.<br />
Every time I share this information the feedback is nothing short of amazing. The breakthroughs I&#8217;ve seen people make in their businesses and personal lives have been MASSIVE.<br />
And it&#8217;s worked for me&#8230; Five years in, we&#8217;re still doing nearly a quarter million dollars a month teaching the same precise process.<br />
I would like to teach more people this process. But in a way that is NOT hype-y or overblown.<br />

<p>A cement truck ran through a red light and I slammed into it without a single skid mark or even putting on the brakes.</p>
<p>Hundreds of stitches later, my face was pieced back together, but I&#8217;d later find out my kneecap was shattered. The surgery for that left my right leg completely paralyzed. As an 18 year old long distance runner, I had literally a limb hanging from my hip.</p>
<p>Even as a car passenger, I had to lift my leg into the car by hooking my heel with my left foot and lifting it in.</p>
<p>I remember rigging a pulley system in my room and lifting on my leg for hours while willing the muscles to cooperate. Physical therapy was a joke &#8211; I had NO muscle tone. There had been a huge error in my surgery and no one wanted to talk about it.</p>
<p>One day… I lifted my leg via my little pulley and also willed the leg up via my mind. I felt the slightest pressure come off the mattress. I couldn&#8217;t even begin to lift it completely, not even an inch off the bed &#8211; but just to feel the slightest connection between my will and the actions created a persistence that no one was gonna stop me from walking again!</p>
<p>Less than two years later, I joined the Navy and scored OUTSTANDING on every physical challenge they assigned me.</p>
<p>That lesson taught me a lot about persistence and momentum. It took less energy to be SPEED WALKING again once I could slightly lift my leg than it did to get my leg to move at all, but never did I abandon the fundamentals of lifting my leg with that little pulley and willing it to work on its own.</p>
<p><strong>So how does this relate to YOU?</strong></p>
<p>You were born with a gift to share with the world. If you&#8217;re reading this blog, chances are &#8211; that gift is best expressed through entrepreneurship. Whether it&#8217;s teaching or training or delivering a service or product, sometimes it can take a while to gain momentum. You WILL face resistance&#8230;</p>
<p><strong>This decision separates victims from victors.</strong></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The level of resistance that you persist through determines the level at which you choose to play the game of life&#8230;</span> You can keep quitting after level ONE in game after game, but the rewards are <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>much less juicy!</strong></span></p>
<p>You can decide to hop from mentor to mentor who promises you that you can profit without any real work or resistance. Create and perpetuate a cycle of invest, frustrate, give up, refund, repeat. Or you can decide to just keep persisting in the fundamentals until you see the first little sign of progress, then build on THAT momentum.</p>
<p>Your choice to persist in the face of adversity is THE determining factor in deciding your success. Of course, the simplicity of your plan can definitely prevent you from overwhelm. My feedback for you today is… find a simple system that you can repetitively follow to get results simply. Go for small but definite gains. Then leverage that simple process up until you are reaching and then stretching your goals…</p>
<p>There is no way to achieve success without overcoming the obstacles that confront us. Sorry, they ran out of magic pills with the last &#8216;bubble&#8217; just before it burst. So I invite you to implement and stick-out a simple and elegant system to get you the profits you deserve from the contribution that you know you were sent here to offer!</p>

<p>I gotta come out about this…</p>
<p>&#8216;Seems like in this cult of personality field that I&#8217;ve been so blessed to be in some things are just taken for granted. There is a presumption that among those who are considered &#8216;leaders&#8217; in this industry&#8230;</p>
<p>That we are overwhelmed with more money than we know what to do with!<br />
&#8230;We face no resistance and success just slides into our laps.<br />
&#8230;We have all the answers<br />
&#8230;Nothing rattles us or makes us uncomfortable because we&#8217;re the &#8216;cool kids&#8217;…</p>
<h3>Of course, all &#8216;GURUS&#8217; have it made!</h3>
<p>And, I want to confirm that all of the above IS TRUE!</p>
<p>…except when it&#8217;s not…</p>
<p>So for all of you who sit back relishing the fantasy of finally graduating to guru-dom and it&#8217;s accompanying hall pass to easy street, let me set the record straight. At least from where I&#8217;m sitting.</p>
<p>So &#8211; in order to perhaps help someone who may be in a seat near me get a better view, I want to go bare-ass naked about the realities of being in imperfect action on a daily basis.</p>
<h3>My personal tale of woe&#8230;</h3>
<p>As most of you know, I&#8217;ve taught Big Ticket small events since 2004. Hundreds of you have invested big dollars to attend these events &#8211; many of the rest of you have either planned to attend or reached out to acknowledge how much you&#8217;ve been helped by one of the amazing BTB alumni!</p>
<p>So what&#8217;s the BANT (Bare-Ass Naked Truth) I wanna share?</p>
<p>Truth is &#8211; despite being on stage nearly all my life whether in music or speaking or whatever, I&#8217;m a complete introvert who is REALLY most comfortable just chilling at home. Yes &#8211; in my familiar house with my familiar patterns and my everyday routine not being interrupted.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t mind being on stage at all. I&#8217;ve always known I have something to share…</p>
<p>AND &#8211; the sporadic conversations in the hallways with people who think they &#8216;know me&#8217; are some of my most frightening moments. They scare the living daylights outta me. I have an entire strategy (which I share below) to keep going and make it through events looking as if I am totally cool and in charge!</p>
<p>So, the truth is &#8211; you CAN also step up and share your message in a BIG WAY even if you&#8217;re NOT the most gregarious person in the room. Or the brightest, or the (insert your excuse here)!</p>
<h3>My Go-To Secrets for Sanity&#8230;</h3>
<p>Here are some of my &#8216;Secrets&#8217;. Maybe you can use them &#8211; maybe you can develop some of your own. The moral of the story is… you CAN do this.</p>
<p>Before I head out at a big event, I mentally walk through the &#8216;Frogger&#8217; method. (For those of you who never played that old-school arcade game, shame on you). In the safety of my hotel room, I mentally determine who I&#8217;ll know and feel &#8216;safe&#8217; talking to. Then I just hop from one to the next until I&#8217;ve met a few new people. Maybe I connect with one of them enough to add them to the &#8216;hopper&#8217; list in the future! Networking done! If I don&#8217;t see anyone I know, I head back to the room pronto before someone who knows me that I don&#8217;t know speaks to me&#8230;</p>
<p>The &#8220;fancy shoes&#8221; I&#8217;m known for are also props to get others to look down and comment and they always bring a predictably safe conversation. Easy to talk about shoes. Leather, color, style, brand, nice to meet you!</p>
<p>If there&#8217;s a party, I&#8217;m in. If a dance floor, I&#8217;m on it. Once again &#8211; no talking required when you&#8217;re dancing!</p>
<p>I hire the most conversationally skilled assistants I can find and have them work their magic at my own events!</p>
<p>At my events, I&#8217;ve almost always hired a limo bus and gone out for dinner. There people can connect with each other while I&#8217;m in the background! And the dinner conversation usually flows pretty well all around. Bonus points when my assistant seats me by someone I already know well and can converse with because we&#8217;re friends!</p>
<p>I developed a complete selling and service-delivery system that I could do completely from home partially because it was most efficient, partially because I developed my business as a single dad but primarily because that is what is most comfortable for ME!</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve not let ANY of this fear slow me down as I&#8217;ve done events literally all over the WORLD! And in the process made a TON of money and helped many tons of people (although I think we&#8217;ve measured them by number not by total weight)&#8230;</p>
<h3>Why would I &#8216;get naked&#8217; like this?</h3>
<p>I think that just perhaps, successful mentors and leaders have been heralded as deity. People immune to the everyday fears and struggles that &#8216;the other people&#8217; face. I have an idea that some of my dear friends who are incredibly successful face similar challenges in various areas and just push through. Many &#8216;confessions&#8217; nowadays end up with the end result all tied up in a bow. I still face the same schtick all the time. I just deal with it.</p>

<p>Perhaps there are those without struggle &#8211; we don&#8217;t hang out. All my true friends are daily pushing through real life challenges. And thanking God daily for the opportunity to be fully alive. And whatever is your opportunity for &#8216;imperfect action&#8217; can be your excuse to stay small or the barrier you push out of the way to access your amazing success!</p>
<p>In the end, I wouldn&#8217;t change a damn thing about myself. What I would do is share this naked confessional earlier so that perhaps even one of you could see a parallel and push through whatever has been holding you back. Coming very soon, I&#8217;m about to launch a newsletter that shares more of my Bare-Ass Naked Truthiness and hopefully burn off some of the Smog of Perfectionista-ismness that you may be struggling to see through.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s gonna be NAKED, it&#8217;s gonna be RELEVANT, it&#8217;s gonna be my way of sharing my heart with you and also my penance for avoiding the awkward hallway interactions. I really do want to see you succeed!</p>
<p>Know this &#8211; the ONE thing that keeps you from your ultimate success is the NEXT thing that is there for you to push through.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve been doing some research into buyer behavior lately and discovered an interesting statistic.</p>
<p>99% of all Louis Vuitton bags that are sold are fake. Yes, if you see someone wearing a Louis Vuitton bag on their arm, there&#8217;s only a 1 in 100 chance that it&#8217;s the real deal!</p>
<p>The cost of counterfeiting impacts the world trade by as much as 7% annually and promotes LOTS of inferior behaviors. Lack of accountability in worker safety, child labor, lack of commitment to quality all are pervasive in the counterfeiting trade.</p>
<p>So, why does this industry thrive? Why do millions offer counterfeit goods and more enter the market daily?</p>
<p><strong>The answer is the market!</strong></p>
<p>Leave it to the mathematician inside, but I can reasonably assume that if 99% of all Louis Vuitton bags SOLD are fake, then 99% of all Louis Vuitton purchasers would rather invest a little to appear like they appreciate quality than to make the choice to invest in quality or just invest in something more in keeping with their true budget.</p>
<p>In fact, many purchasers of &#8216;knockoff&#8217; goods &#8211; knowing the shorter life expectancy of a counterfeit product will buy two or more of the inferior item &#8211; and consider it disposable rather than to invest in ONE of the genuine article and expect it to last for life.</p>
<p>In other words, the insatiable desire of the market to under-invest in the appearance of quality FAR exceeds the commitment to themselves to reward true innovation with the fair investment required to attain it. And in many cases, to be fair, buyers of counterfeit goods KNOW that the quality isn&#8217;t there… Just the &#8216;markings&#8217;.</p>
<h4>How does this impact you?</h4>
<p>It&#8217;s amazing how this parallels into the market of mentorship.</p>
<p>In the six years I&#8217;ve been in this business, I&#8217;ve watched genuine teachers faithfully churn out the same core message for years. I can still hear the voice of Zig Ziglar and Jim Rohn playing out of my truck&#8217;s cassette player and when I listen to their more contemporary work, I hear the same message.</p>
<p>Mean Old Dan Kennedy still makes you fax him to do business together and has the same gruff commitment to knowing everything he can about a topic and then some. Frank Kern and I invested THOUSANDS of dollars to talk to him for a couple hours late last year and got the same predictable feedback. It was so worth what we paid and exactly what we expected.</p>
<p>One of the unspoken realities of the mentoring industry has been that there are obvious counterfeiters pervasive in our midst. If we are following the trends of the rest of the marketplace (and why wouldn&#8217;t we be), it would suggest that a significant percentage of all information sold has not been vetted by years of proving ground and experience of the person dispensing it! In fact, many people begin to teach principles only weeks after learning them!</p>
<p>The challenge with this is that many of the markings of the real deal are there. It is only after careful inspection that one can make the distinction between someone with the depth necessary to mentor in their area of expertise and someone with just enough buzzwords to garner a following.</p>
<p>And while the true mentors may be quietly profiting in a boutique, exclusive environment, hawkers of lesser goods appear on every digital corner selling 99% (?) of all mentoring sold to people primed for the &#8216;almost&#8217; real deal. That means that we see opportunities to buy fakes FAR more often than opportunities to mentor with someone who&#8217;s really going to benefit us the most! In other words, at times, visibility may be inversely related to quality. The best teachers may require some &#8216;finding&#8217; instead of being in your inbox daily. Gives you pause, huh?</p>
<p>The challenge with the mentoring industry arises when people buy highly promoted cheap knock-off mentoring from digital street corners, then get upset when their &#8216;mentor&#8217; falls apart at the seams. Doesn&#8217;t know how to respond in critical situations. Gives feedback that sounds good but doesn&#8217;t deliver results. Shifts from topic to topic with the marketplace instead of learning their one area of expertise in depth. It happens.</p>
<p>So who is responsible for this scenario? Who creates counterfeit mentoring? It exists because the market demands it. The same insatiable desire for knock-off goods that pervades our desire to appear successful in the natural without the requisite investment rolls over into our behavior when we&#8217;re looking for the person to teach us how to be successful in our quest to lose weight, make money, have better sex,  build a relationship, connect with God… and the list goes on and on.</p>
<h4>Kevin&#8217;s Soapbox Comment.</h4>
<p>You can&#8217;t go wrong buying from the top of the heap!</p>
<p>If you want disposable mentoring that may fall apart in a few weeks or months, then invest in whomever you want. But if you&#8217;re among the 1% that still appreciates excellence and is willing to invest to get the best, I&#8217;d recommend you find out who has been the best in the area you seek help. Invest whatever it takes to learn from them. In the end it is MUCH less expensive and gets you far better results without the disappointment of truly getting what you paid for. Notice I didn&#8217;t say NOT getting what you paid for but getting what you paid for.</p>
<p>Or, you can choose to follow the majority who are still trying to get something almost as good for far less commitment and then be consistently disappointed when it doesn&#8217;t quite hold up and deliver what you wanted.</p>
<p>AND&#8230; if you&#8217;re feel the least bit concerned that the majority of people aren&#8217;t interested in your &#8216;REAL DEAL&#8217; mentoring, understand this. There&#8217;s still a huge opportunity awaiting you in being at the top of your own heap and delivering what you are to the minority who value it. Shake the temptation to follow the herd and echo the chants of the &#8216;fake seekers&#8217; and choose instead &#8211; build your boutique client following who choose to invest in your true talent and calling. For Real!</p>
<p>It IS a choice. And that&#8217;s the beauty of a free market!</p>

		<title>Are you Marketing with a Bucket or an Drum?</title>

<p>We passed a street panhandler with a bucket out shaking coins and asking for a &#8216;cash infusion&#8217;. He asked if we had some money and I specifically remember telling him &#8220;Thanks, man but I&#8217;m all tapped out&#8221;. I remember in my mind resolving that with &#8220;I&#8217;m all tapped out for donations to YOU&#8221;.</p>
<h3><strong>Then&#8230;</strong></h3>
<p>Less than a block up the street, we passed another guy who you could reasonably call a panhandler as well. Yet, instead of looking desperate, this dude had a guitar out and was singing to the top of his lungs. It was obvious that the people gathered around (yes, no one was passing by him sheepishly) were enjoying what he was giving freely to the world.</p>
<p>He had his guitar case open with the money showing. And he wasn&#8217;t asking anyone for a dime, he was just playing away!</p>
<p>I&#8217;m a big fan of TITHING &#8211; and I normally direct it to whomever brings joy to my soul. And &#8211; I&#8217;m also music lover so musicians who play from the heart usually get a generous tip from my &#8220;tithing account&#8221;.</p>
<h3>The &#8220;Magic Transformation&#8221;</h3>
<p>So… the dude (me) who was &#8220;all tapped out&#8221; just a block before drops a hundred dollar bill into the guitar case and walked on. As I kept going, the dude yelled &#8211; &#8220;Thanks bro, that&#8217;s my RENT&#8221;!<br />

What does this mean to you?</strong> First, let this be a reminder to tip street musicians. They&#8217;re bringing beauty to the world…</p>
<p>On a serious note &#8211; This shift could VERY powerfully transform your marketing. Some of you who have stated over and over again that your people are &#8220;All tapped out&#8221; and wondering why you keep attracting the &#8220;broke&#8221; leads can take notice here. People always find a way to pay for what they REALLY want. And find a way to make excuses NOT to pay for what they don&#8217;t quite believe will benefit them.</p>
<p><strong>Gasp! Could it be they&#8217;re just not that into you?</strong></p>
<p>Despite someone&#8217;s comments to you &#8211; you should know that if you are out there showing your value, there are ALWAYS going to be people who will show up and invest in the beauty that you&#8217;re bringing. And that the crowd gathered around benefitting from you freely sharing your gifts is as much a part of the attraction as is your &#8220;playing&#8221;.</p>
<p>So, if you&#8217;ve been working on your &#8220;cup shaking&#8221; marketing lately wondering how to get people to pay you so you could begin to play, I recommend you decide just to start playing, shaking your money-maker instead of your &#8216;can&#8217; and you&#8217;ll be surprised at what you attract.</p>
<p>Stop hiding your talents behind waiting for your marketing to work and get to the business of having fun delivering your magic to the world. Trust me &#8211; having fun publicly WILL attract far more money than shaking the can anyway.</p>

<p>However, I woke up this morning and was literally COMPELLED to write this post. So what you&#8217;re about to read isn&#8217;t a well-crafted musing that will front end a marketing campaign. It&#8217;s just a ultra-human effort to put into writing just a fraction of the gratitude I feel to be doing what I&#8217;m doing. And an opportunity to thank YOU for the role you play in it. There&#8217;s a gift for anyone who makes it to the end of my musings so I encourage you to indulge my gratitude for others all the way to my gift for you.</p>
<p>I am SO SO grateful to be able to even write this post. The opportunity that you have afforded me to be able to share what I know and who I am and be rewarded so handsomely for it is one that i do NOT take for granted. I want to share this &#8216;flow&#8217; in no particular order just as it comes… Here goes!</p>
<h3>Starting with Thanks</h3>
<p><strong>FIRST</strong> &#8211; I want to acknowledge everyone who has ever referred me, given a testimonial about the impact on them of something I&#8217;ve taught or who has spoken in support of the work that I do. Your decision to acknowledge the results of the work I&#8217;ve been called to do has made the job that I have of building trust with my prospects almost effortless. Most of the people who i now meet say that they first heard about me directly from someone else who has studied my work. To each of you &#8211; I am honored, humbled and will spend myself and all of my energy proving you right!</p>
<p><strong>SECONDLY</strong> &#8211; I want to thank EVERYONE who has ever participated in any training I&#8217;ve taught. As many of my friends have noted (some with astonishment) &#8211; the percentage of people who actually put the plans that I share into practice and create results is just remarkable. That is so much a testament to you and to your commitment to action and it puts such a favorable light upon the work itself.</p>
<p><strong>THIRD</strong> &#8211; I want to thank my amazing children who give me the worlds most powerful grounding point possible. In the mix of everything else I ever do &#8211; I&#8217;ll always consider my role as a dad the real test of my success in life. You two are the most amazing people in the world and I&#8217;m glad that you are also two of my best friends!</p>
<p><strong>FOURTH</strong> &#8211; I want to thank my dear friends and thought leaders in this amazing industry. When I see the vision that you possess and the wonderful work you do &#8211; I am overwhelmed to be in such good company. We are all simultaneously flawed and perfect. I hope that you never let the resistance you experience when you offer your work to the world deter you from stepping up.</p>
<h3>Moving on to GIVING</h3>

<p>The challenge with this question is &#8211; you are! People understand precisely just how valuable your contribution is and respond accordingly. Your income is a direct reflection of the value you are currently delivering to the market. I mean &#8211; hey &#8211; the universe isn&#8217;t in the habit of making mistakes!</p>
<p>So why is it that some of the people that you see in the marketplace as just noise are making more money than you? Could this theory hold true for them as well? Are they REALLY more valuable to the change in this world than you are.</p>
<p><strong>The answer is &#8211; simply &#8211; YES! They are!</strong></p>
<p>Ouch! And so I&#8217;m saying that even with YOUR commitment to excellence, YOUR study, YOUR skill that you&#8217;re being upstaged in the value arena by someone who simply promotes promotes promotes?</p>
<p><em>Yup!</em></p>
<p>Puh-lease tell me it ain&#8217;t true.</p>
<p><em>Sorry &#8211; it&#8217;s the honest truth!</em></p>
<p><strong>But HOW? HOW? HOW? HOW? can this be?</strong> The absolute heresy of this is just making your skin crawl I&#8217;m sure. The &#8216;content &#8211; purists&#8217; among us may raise their self-righteous heads and decry the absolute common-sense test that I&#8217;ve held here.</p>
<p>And they may search for reasons that their commitment to transformation has made them difficult to access. That &#8216;charlatans&#8217; and &#8216;snake-oil&#8217; marketers are misleading the market and breeding distrust which makes it more difficult for them to sell their &#8216;pure&#8217; stuff.</p>
<p><strong>Hogwash…</strong></p>
<p>OK &#8211; let&#8217;s just agree for a moment that there are some people who pay FAR closer attention to their content / contribution than others. THAT is obvious to even the most naive of us…</p>
<p>What&#8217;s tougher to swallow is just how little value some content-purists bring to their world and why…</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s the answer AND how to change it in a jiffy. Love it or hate it &#8211; if you aren&#8217;t making the kind of money you need &#8211; you&#8217;ll never make it UNTIL you take the following two actions… GULP &#8211; Yep I said it!</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Numero UNO</strong></span>- Your value to the world is impacted by both the power of your message AND the people you successfully impact to invest in themselves and take action and put the message you teach into action in THEIR lives.</p>
<p>Developing a communication strategy to reach your prospects and bring them to a decision is your responsibility &#8211; not the responsibility of your prospects. So if you&#8217;ve got something with a value contribution of 100 and you&#8217;re getting ONE person a month to use it &#8211; your impact to the world is far less than someone with a service that has a value contribution of 2 and is getting it into use by thousands. Nuf said…</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Numero DOS</strong></span>- (and a HUGE dose this one is to swallow)</p>
<p>You know yourself better than ANYONE else in the universe. If you&#8217;re not investing in YOURSELF regularly &#8211; then you have determined just how worthless you really are!</p>
<p>Your prospects cannot be expected to invest in you when you&#8217;ve made the determination to try to avoid investing in yourself!</p>
<p>I had several communications this past week with HUGE players in industry and each of us had randomly invested tens of thousands of dollars into our own professional development. And at a time when we were arguably doing so well &#8211; we were each scrambling to do anything possible to do even better.</p>
<p>Meanwhile &#8211; I constantly hear feedback from those who &#8216;just aren&#8217;t consistently making it&#8217; telling me that they&#8217;re waiting to invest in themselves until they can make some money.</p>
<p>Kind of like waiting to invest and plant a tree until some random fruit just shows up so that you can eat for free and use the seeds…</p>
<p>Oooops!</p>
<p>It is really sad that with so many contribution &#8216;gifts&#8217; available in the world that the stewards of those gifts would hold them hostage to their small thinking in the areas of taking responsibility for who invests with them AND in investing in their ongoing growth to set a precedent for excellence for their prospects to follow.</p>
<p>And… it happens all the time.</p>
<p>So &#8211; the next time you see a competitor with an &#8216;inferior contribution&#8217; blowing past you in the area of income (and thus value!)…</p>
<p>Ask yourself how YOU can change it! Find a mentor that can help you develop a communication formula that is worthy of that great contribution you offer.  And who can help you get your gift in front of as many people as possible and change the value formula for what you offer. It IS within you to do this…</p>

Without being personally grounded, we tend to drift in the direction of our short-term attraction rather than in the direction of our ultimate destination.</p>
<p>Think of driving down the highway. You KNOW that you are en route to your destination. But let a shiny car pull alongside and &#8211; if you stare at it long enough &#8211; you&#8217;ll start drifting into the path of what you&#8217;re staring at until you &#8216;merge into&#8217; the car beside you (explain that to your insurance agent).</p>
<p>The challenge within a body of marketers is that there are SO MANY shiny cars riding alongside us! I am SO IMPRESSED many times by certain practices I see implemented by my peers, my mentors, my competitors and especially my students!</p>
<h3>The Daily Decision&#8230;</h3>
<p>The &#8216;balancing act&#8217; for me is to daily determine whether a temptation to emulate their practices comes from my commitment to getting my own calling done or whether I&#8217;m being drawn to &#8216;merge&#8217; into a momentary attraction!</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll bet you find yourself in the very same scenario. AND &#8211; the more attractive your market &#8211; the greater the temptation to stare at others&#8217; work rather than to find your own perfect path.</p>
<p>Without a stated destination, this task becomes even more difficult. And when you&#8217;re following someone who&#8217;s following someone who&#8217;s… then what IS the direction or the destination… And the circle of following shiny chariots begins.</p>
<h3>What does that mean for ME?</h3>
<p>SO &#8211; what do I stand for? What can I be held accountable to? What am I willing to pursue without apology and abandon without regret? Those questions are great for you to ask and answer. I&#8217;ll try to lead with my own human quest to answer…</p>
<p>I am NOT a natural marketer! I don&#8217;t enjoy running huge campaigns to reach people with the transformation that I represent. The reason I invented the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.BigTicketBlueprint.com">Big Ticket Blueprint</a> was to bring about a LARGE number of committed people making massive changes in their work without all the hooplah!</p>
<p>I DO have an uncanny calling to help people realize their highest value and communicate that in a way to both a HUGE market and then to dial it in for ANY specific service such that my clients raise their fees by astronomical amounts and still feel connected to serving!</p>
<p>I prefer small intimate teachings to large fawning audiences. The reason that my fees are high has nothing to do with my desire to profit and everything in the knowledge that when people invest significantly &#8211; they fare MUCH MUCH better in their OWN pursuits.</p>
<p>I LOVE the people that are my clients and am disappointed when people give up on themselves. I am committed to the SIMPLICITY of success and will always mentor from a point of making something SIMPLE so that it can bring success as quickly as possible rather than making it COMPLICATED so I can impress someone with my &#8216;grasp&#8217;.</p>
<p>I believe that tenacity is more important than any other trait and realize that if I taught 10% of the INFORMATION I shared and imparted tenacity that the result to my clients would be far greater than if I taught 500% of the information and failed to have someone take that imperfect action.</p>
<p>I am heartbroken when I have a vision for/with someone that isn&#8217;t fulfilled because of their lack of faith in themselves because I see the lives that COULD have been touched had they only stayed the course.</p>
<p>I believe in the BEAUTY that resides in EVERYONE I see and realize that because source emanates from our core &#8211; EVERYONE is amazing on the inside. Any issues that someone demonstrates result from layers of protection from fear and hurt clouding the beauty that begs to shine!</p>
<p>I believe in YOUR beauty. I was called to mentor some of you and to lead you to a level that you&#8217;ve not yet seen in your progression.</p>
<h3>Going Forward&#8230;</h3>
<p>I choose NOT to dilute my future offerings with sharing a &#8216;piled-high&#8217;, &#8216;mixed-bag&#8217; of marketing tricks that I can shine up and make to be enticing. However, I vow to you that if you have the slightest twinge of intuition that working with me would be good &#8211; that I will make our partnership the least conventional, most unique and simultaneously THE most impacting experience that you&#8217;ve held to date.</p>
<p>AND &#8211; every day you wait to excel at attracting and converting clients to benefit from your mission puts that very mission in jeopardy!
